Buildings were collapsing, glass was scattered on the ground everywhere and smoke was filling the air. Large machines being the cause as they continued to tear through the abandoned town, nothing but the goal of flattening the hopes of future students wired into their programming. The tech came in all different sizes, each presenting itself as a unique threat that had to be taken out.

There was Kaiyo in the middle of all of this too, observing her surroundings and catching her breath after having taken down several of these machines herself, racking up some points while doing so. That was the goal after all, to take down more of these than the competition around her so that she could make the cut. A place in UA, the place she would have to be if she was going to make herself a hero.

These robots had been quite the challenge too. Sure, for a pro hero they'd be a walk in the park, but for someone like her and the other students they were just right. She was just happy that she had tried the leggings and sports bra approach for this exam. If she had shown up in something like a dress or a uniform she would have been at a serious disadvantage.

Checking the time on her watch she knew that she had to get back to it and checked her armored gauntlet shields to make sure they were still secure and ready to go. If they were for some reason no longer functional she'd be in a real problematic situation, but from the looks of it she was ready to go. Now she just needed a robot that wasn't too big to approach her so she could put herself higher on the board.

Luckily for her she didn't have to go far, as one of the robots who moved around on a large wheel moved out in front her. Its sights right on her as suddenly Akako pivoted and ran in the other direction. She had already dealt with a few of these robots, as her quirk was perfect for facing them. Sure, it was fast but it only had two long arms that it would use to smack or hit its opposition.

Now she just needed to form a plan as she rounded a corner and kept running. Ducking under one of its arms as it got closer to her. Kaiyo rolled behind it as the robot had to stop and spin itself around before coming at her again. This gave her the perfect opportunity to take a more ready stance and get her arms up. Preparing herself for the oncoming barrage that would be sent her way by those arms.

The robot swung its first punch right for her head, the punch being met by one of her shields as a metallic clash filled the air. Then it swung at her with the other arm in the same direction, just to be blocked again. Its attacks came faster as it swung at her from all sorts of directions. Kaiyo took them all to her shields as she took all of that energy into her body.

Then she leaped up into the air as the robot attempted a slow uppercut. Her shielded arms took the blow as she allowed the momentum to send her up and away from her foe. Landing on her feet, she got low to the ground and prepared to pounce. The energy in her body burned bright as she activated her quirk, converting all of that robot's spent energy into her own.

Pulling her arms back she waited, then as the robot sped at her again she unleashed her quirk. Dashing through the air in a flash right for the robot's chest, she clinched a fist. Finishing through her dash as she thrust one of her arms straight at its chest. The punch tore through the chest as sparks flew, her dash no more as she fell towards the ground below.

As Kaiyo reached the street though she rolled over and back up to her feet, coming to a stop next to the robot that was now but a metal corpse since her aim with the shield had been just right. Her eyes moved right to the weapons she checked it for any damages. She was still surprised by how well it was holding up when she was asking so much of it, that going for the one on her other arm as well.

She had to shake that fight off though as she looked up and saw how she was doing on this exam now. Right now she was right in the middle of the pack and if she could keep it up then she would at least find herself being accepted. And that would be enough for her. To be given the chance of being a hero.

However as she went to put her phone away she felt the ground below her rumble, enough for her to nearly drop the phone right out of her hands. Looking ahead there was no sign of any robots so she spun around quickly and instantly regretted just letting herself be out in the open like that. There had to have been more than a dozen of different robots coming her way and they were picking up speed. And with no other students around her that meant every last one of them wanted a piece of her.

Not waiting for the fun to come to her she was quick to make a run for it. It was possible for her to take on three, maybe even four of these things at once but this many?! She would be lucky if she could shake off even half of them. Her best chance was going to be to just make a break for one of the alleyways that she was passing, even if that would slow her down.

Taking a sharp right she led them down another street, one of them tripping over itself as they continued their pursuit. However as she was ready to make her escape she was brought to a screeching halt as a… another student landed right in front of her. Giving her no time to react as suddenly she was jumped by this student, their arms wrapped around her tight as they jumped away with her. A bit of a scream left Kaiyo her as she was startled by how suddenly it all happened.

The jumping didn't stop either. This student leapt up and hopped off the walls of two buildings before bringing both of them onto the roof on one. Kaiyo struggled in their unbelievably tight grip until she was outright dropped onto her back. The air was knocked out of her as she groaned and sat up, rubbing her back.

"Thank you…" Was all that left Kaiyo as she finally looked up at her savior. Her eyes fell on a pair of red eyes that were so unlike her own, an air of confidence in them she had only ever seen on TV. Long white hair accompanied the eyes, contrasting this woman's dark skin tone. She was just so… beautiful, even with the pair of bunny ears that stood tall on each side of her head.

And if that wasn't enough, this young woman had an unbelievable body for someone their age. Toned in every possible place, or at least from what Kaiyo could see, she wore a somewhat loose top that showed some stomach, a pair of tight shorts, some knee pads, a pair of gloves and some shoes to finish it. At no point had she seen anyone like this, at least not in person anyway.

"Well come on, we gotta get to it!" Suddenly the beautiful bunny was gone, before Kaiyo could even get up to her feet. Causing her to panic, run over to the edge of the roof and look down after her. She was heading right for the middle of all of those robots. And unless she was even close to being as strong as she was breathtaking… she was going to be flattened.

Of course, her assumption of this woman had been dead wrong as suddenly the woman spun around and kicked two of the robots hard in the head. Their circuits sparked as they collapsed, and she wasn't done either. The moment her feet touched the street she hopped right back up and this time delivered a roundhouse kick that took out another. The robots only now began to attack her as she sped around them and used her strong legs to take another two out.

The fight was over before it even started, all of the robots down at this woman's feet as Kaiyo made her way down. Walking onto the street as this new… comrade of hers was taking a moment to catch her breath. Now being when she noticed that along with the bunny ears the woman had a round tail located at the bottom of her back too. Her quirk must have had something to do with giving her amplified strength and speed, along with other abilities that a rabbit might have.

"Who are you?" Kaiyo's curiosity had gotten the better of her as she got her phone out and looked at the scores. She was still around the middle of it all and that was good, but this girl must have been somewhere near the top. This showed her just how far she had to go if she wanted to ever be recognized by the hero society they lived in. That, or just be willing to live in the shadow of someone so powerful.

"Rumi Usayigami." She wanted to tell Rumi her own name, but before she had the chance this bunny was already on the move. Clearly ready to get her score higher than it already was. Kaiyo somehow felt more motivated now as she looked down to check just where her Rumi was on the board. Her jaw nearly falling off as she found it immediately.

This woman was… right at the top of the list but that wasn't what was so shocking about it. Her numbers were incredible, being an overwhelming twenty points higher than the person that was in second place. And of course that number was already increasing by the second. Realizing that she couldn't fall anymore behind Kaiyo shoved her phone into her pocket and made a run for any more robots that she could find.
