Lily Evans is a really nice person. She is of average height with flaming red hair and beautiful emerald eyes. She is also very smart. She's at the top of all her classes along with her friends Alice, Erin, and Marlene. She also happens to have a very short temper.

"LILY," Marlene yelled, "WAKE UP!" "Nooo," Lily groaned, "Go away, Marley." "You can have five more minutes Lils then we're going to breakfast without you," said Alice. "Ok," Lily sighed

Alice was standing at the full-length mirror in the corner of the dorm room doing her makeup. She had already showered, gotten dressed, and done her hair. She, Erin, and Marlene had already been up for an hour. Erin was sitting on her bed completely ready, reading her history of magic textbook. Marlene was in the bathroom brushing her hair at the sink and Lily was laying in her bed wondering if it was worth skipping breakfast for a little extra sleep. Deciding that she couldn't wait until lunch to eat she slid out of her bed.

"Oh look who decided to join us Prongsey," Sirius Black, One of Hogwarts top students and prankster said, nudging his best friend James Potter. "Why hello ladies, thank you for joining us," James said, flashing a lopsided grin at Alice, Erin, Marleen, and Lily who had just sat down across from them in the great hall. "Why are you sitting here, don't all the stupid boys like yourselves sit over there," Marlene said pointing to the opposite end of the table where the marauders usually sat. "Oh Marley dear, we are not stupid and you know you love us and want us to sit with you," Sirius said smiling at Marleen. Lily, Alice, and Marleen rolled their eyes, Erin was too busy reading to notice that the marauders were sitting with them. Remus Lupin, the nicest and smartest marauder reached over to Erin's book and took it away from her. She looked up glaring at him, "GIVE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW LUPIN!" "Not until you eat something," he said, putting a piece of parchment in the book to mark her page. "You are so annoying, you know that," Erin asked piling eggs and bacon onto her plate. Remus only laughed.

Erin, Alice, Marleen, and Lily looked around the charms classroom trying to find four empty seats that were next to each other. They ended up sitting in the middle of the classroom, Erin in the next row in front of Lily with Marleen on Lily's right and Alice on the left. Frank Longbottom came into the classroom with the marauders and sat in the seat next to Alice. She looked over at him smiling and asked her boyfriend about where he was during breakfast. James took the seat behind Lily and Sirius next to him behind Marleen. Remus sat next to Erin and asked her what she was reading. Erin was completely oblivious to what was going on around her again so Remus sighed and took out his own book. Peter Pettigrew, the last marauder and the quietest sat in the back row not in the seat behind Sirius but in the seat to the right of it. Professor Flitwick whistled, causing the room to go quiet and Erin, Remus, and most of the Ravenclaws in the room to look up from their books. Professor Flitwick told the class that they were going to be working on performing the banishing charm nonverbally. He passed out cushions to everyone and they began. Lily got it on her second try, Marleen, Erin, and Remus all got it on their fourth and much to her dismay Alice didn't get it until her thirtieth attempt. After Lily finished congratulating Alice she started banishing and summoning her cushion again then James poked her back. She ignored him. He kept poking her and she kept ignoring him. After about five minutes of this Lily turned around, her emerald eyes flashing, and said in a dangerously low voice, "What do you want Potter?" He smiled after six years of Lily hating him. Her temper no longer scared him, "Well, Evens, do you know when the next Hogsmeade weekend is?" "Yes," Lily answered, turning back to her cushion. "Well, could you tell me when it is then?" "No, you should have looked at the notice board in the common room this morning." James sighed, "I guess I'll have to ask Remus then." "I guess you will." James put his face about three inches away from Lily's ear and yelled, "OI, MOONEY, DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE NEXT HOGSMEADE WEEKEND IS?" Lily turned and smacked James, she knew he was yelling just to annoy her, Remus was only two seats in front of him. Remus yelled, "BLOODY HELL JAMES, WHAT ARE YOU YELLING FOR?" James rolled his eyes, "When is the next Hogsmeade weekend?" "Mr. Potter, Mr. Lupin, And Miss. Evans, I will see you in detention tonight," Professor Flitwick said annoyed, "You are sixth years, you should know that yelling, swearing, and hitting are not permitted at Hogwarts." Lily glared at James, she couldn't believe he had gotten her a detention. Alice, Erin, and Marleen all gave Lily sad looks. They were supposed to have a sleepover with a bunch of other girls tonight and now Lily would be late. Remus sighed at James; he was obviously annoyed, "It's this weekend, you didn't have to yell James." " 'Kay, sorry," James said to both Lily and Remus.

Lily sighed when Professor Flitwick sent them into the trophy room. She and Remus grabbed their rags and started to scrub the many trophies and plaques. James however got out his wand and started to magically clean the trophies. Lily rolled her eyes at him and continued to scrub the huge plaque. Remus hesitated and then also got out his wand whispering "luceat," the shining charm, pointing his wand at his trophy. "Remus," gasped Lily! Remus looked slightly ashamed, "What can I say, Lily, I am a marauder," Remus said, giving Lily an ashamed smile. "There you go Mooney," James said grinning at Remus, "C'mon Evans, it'll make it go faster!" Lily rolled her eyes, taking out her own wand, she whispered, "Stupid boys," starting to magically clean the trophies.
