Prologue

Hero, a term first coined by the people of the world to praise war veterans and doctors. Now, it's used to describe someone who saves others with their powers, Quirks.

Villain, a term used by the first hero to describe those who used their quirks for unrighteous acts. Unlike heroes, Villains have always been around.

The signs of a hero are many, the signs of a villain are few. Villains lie, Heroes are true. So what is someone in the middle ground to do?

It's sad to say that in these years since quirks, labels were already pasted onto others, and middle grounds were considered blasphemous. It didn't matter what the motive for one's actions were, a universally bad action made one a villain, and yet any action was acceptable for a hero, so long as they had the right intentions. "Why am I being told this?", you might be asking?

Well the answer is simple. I'm going to be the one who changes this system. I'm not looking to be the best hero, the most dangerous villain. I'm just a simple boy with too many theories in my head, and I want to share them with the rest of the world. So with that being said, here's my hypothesis…

Heroes and Villains are one and the same, the only difference? Motive.
