On a warm sunny Wednesday in the afternoon, everything was pretty much all in order. The people of Tokyo, Japan were pretty much living life to its fullest. Everyday it seemed to be always busy. Even during the working hours, the streets are filled with its citizens and cars in the streets. It was teeming with life of the average people. It was an oddly fascinating thing to watch. Seeing the way of life just moving as the billboards light up to attract attention, the businesses being awake for consumers to enter. It was all something magical.

Well, all of it was breathtaking to a dik-dik and a meerkat that haven't gotten the chance to really explore their hometown in months. It was mainly due to either their hard work or having to hang out with their friends and relatives. They never really took a step back and got their chance to just watch everything. Their eyes were glued and focused on other important tasks and never paid attention to the filled living streets.

Tsunoda was just watching it all out by the window. The ambiance and the soothing melody of the cafe she was in were drowned out. Her attention focused on the nature that she never got the chance to steadily watch outside of her office window. It felt calming. It felt like she finally got a break she deserved.

"Tsunoda?" Komiya watched her as if she was close to dozing off. He gently grabbed her shoulder and shook her lightly which got her to look back over to him.

"Huh?" Tsunoda seemed stunned for a second until she looked around to see her familiar surroundings. "Oh...heh, sorry."

"You're fine hon." he took a sip of his coffee cup. "You ok? You seem like you are going in and out of Earth."

Tsunoda felt her cheeks turn a rosy pink. "Oh. Well, I just never had the chance to check out the city you know. Never really had my eyes staring at its beauty."

Komiya looked over at the window to see what she was talking about. "I will admit, it is a very unique place."

"We should start going out more sometime." Tsunoda was pretty much asking for more dates in the future. She knew for a fact Komiya wouldn't turn down an offer like that.

It just felt like they deserved the chance for more dates. To be spending more time together that wasn't in their own office building. They liked having days like this. To wear casual clothing and going on casual dates on casual days. Casual. That was something they never experienced. They haven't been on a date for months due to their hard working job with their even harder working boss. They pretty much bonded over the fact that they played kiss ass for Director Ton.

Having them be bonding over what they do in their work is pretty weird. But they also have a liking of favorite drinks, favorite shows, even favorite types of videos and shows they watch. You could say they were pretty perfect for eachother, they pretty much believe they are. Even their dates were a sign of how good they were as a couple. Both of them being stunned by the way of their kind actions they never thought they had.

"You think we should go to visit that new robot museum?" Komiya asked Tsunoda as she took a sip of her tea while she started thinking to herself. She had no plans for next week, so as long as she was free, of course she could meet up with him at that museum.

He was happy to hear the chance of getting to see that big building with her. "I never knew you were so into giant fighting robots."

The meerkat started to blush and feel embarrassment over acting so excited about that museum. "Well I didn't either, but one day I was so tired from being Ton's yes man that I just turned on whatever was on tv. Then there was this show about these two robots fighting. It looked so cool!"

"Huh. I think I remembered something like that."

"It is more of a binge-watch to see robots fighting monsters. I should thank Director Ton for that." That got a giggle from Tsunoda as she started to smile.

"Oh yes. I should thank him too." She took a sip of her tea. "I never was one of those cooking show fanatics. Now I watch that show about that british Red Deer who curses and yells when food goes raw."

The two of them started to share a laugh as they both know of this show and started to say some famous lines from the show. There, Komiya started to reminisce of another thing he got into. It was the very thing that he was drinking. Not once did he ever drink coffee in his life.

Needless to say, Tsunoda seemed shocked about it. "Not even eating coffee ice cream."

"Not even a spoonful." Komiya took a sip of the rich tasting drink. "It was because of how Director Ton wanted some coffee. So I went to get it while getting myself some tea. Some complications with Kabae happened annnddd...you could guess what happens next."

"You gave Ton the tea and you drank his coffee?"

"Oh yes. I got an earful but thankfully you saved me from his wrath."

"All I have to do is play the 'Don't be so stressed out' trick, and boom, he sits down and enjoys his 'stress free tea'."

Komiya definitely owed her so much for that. He pretty much was spared death because of her. Even though she always declines the chance of being owed with gifts and trips, one day the meerkat will think of something for her. Something good and one she would never forget.

"Oh! I don't think I ever told anyone this...but I never tried beer before."

"Beer can be a good thing. Depends on the brand really."

"Well remember when we went to that office party at that one bar?"

Komiya nodded. "Oh yeah! Director Gori was killing it with that karaoke! That was like a year ago I think? It was also like a couple of weeks before we started dating right?"

"Mhm!" Tsunoda was pretty much proud that Komiya still remembered the day he asked her out. Being flattered, she continued on.

"Well I remember that since they had no wine in stock due to those rich folks taking it all, all they had was mixed drinks. Director Ton tossed me a beer and said it was on the house. I couldn't refuse sooo I took a crack open and drinked it."

The meerkat was curious to know the aftermath of the story. "And?"

"Well, I thought it was alright. But I still preferred wine."

"Well it was nice of Director Ton to toss you a freebie." Komiya wasn't jealous. He just couldn't believe how well her charms were when it comes to getting what she wants. Mainly from the big boss himself.

"Yeah. It was." She started to feel her stomach beginning to growl. She skipped lunch since she didn't feel the need to eat, but now she was regretting not even taking an apple with her or something to munch on.

Komiya heard the growl and letted a soft chuckle as the dik-dik started to blush red with her looking ashamed she did that as she was supposed to be acting innocent and cute. She would love to get some sushi though.

"You wanna head out and get a quick bite. I know this place that has great food. Like it has a four out of five stars."

"Oh Komiya. You don't have to act so formal. I don't wanna be a bother to you." She wasn't acting as the cute, innocent, and loveable she always portrayed to get whatever she wanted. This was different. With him, she was serious with him. She didn't have to act, she got to be herself. The real her. Not some thigh pic selfie popular girl that wanted to be catered to. The real Tsunoda.

The meerkat didn't mind one bit. "Don't worry, you aren't. I figured since you were hungry, I might as well get something too. I skipped breakfast since I ran out of milk."

Tsunoda started to chuckle as Komiya was ready to finish down his cup. "How in the heck could you forget milk? That's an important part of having cereal."

"And to use for eggs." He finished with his last drops of his coffee. "What about you? I am sure you have moments of forgetting important food or snacks or even meals."

At first, Tsunoda was going to say only a couple of times did she forget stuff like blueberries for blueberry pancakes, or dipping sauce for her hush puppies. But then her eyes began to widen. She immediately forgot everything that was mostly important because of how she was so busy with preparing herself for this date. Her parents were going to visit tomorrow morning.

"Oh my gosh! I need to get some stuff for the store! My parents require the meatloaf!"

"M-meatloaf? Parents? W-" Komiya was suddenly being grabbed by his arm as she started to run out of the door with him being dragged along for the ride. However, he didn't mind it one bit.
