Pairing: (OC/ later OP) Silver and Rainbow Dash, potentially may add at least 1 more but that will be for later. Hope you enjoy please R&R.

Filler: Will take place after discord being defeated by the elements but instead of being free he is turned to stone like before he escaped, the mane six will all be close in age and height consisting of Twilight age 19 5'7, Rarity age 21 5'6, Rainbow Dash age 18 5'5, AppleJack age 20 5'9, Pinkie Pie age 19 5'4, and Fluttershy age 22 5'7. Silver age 20 6'8

Chapter 1: The Encounter.

Somewhere In Equestria Mountains

A group of merchants and some guards were making their way through a passage in between 3 mountains to trade their goods in the city on the other side, as the group was nearing a clearing in the passage indicating to them they were nearing the exit. Before the merchants or guards knew it a figure flew above their heads and crashed into the large clearing ahead, with the guards being told to go and check it out and started making their way towards the unknown figure that crash landed.

As the guards go to the location of where the figure had crashed, as the dust cleared we can see the appearance of the lead guard being a white stallion with a dark bluish purple mane and tail with a lighter blue stripe going through his mane and tail, not much more could be seen of the stallion as he was clad in gold armor with a gold helmet, his armor while like the rest had a badge with a horizontal line with three inverted v shapes that had a sun resting on top showing him to be a captain by the name of Shining armor.

As Shining armor got closer to the smoking crater he was able to make out the shape of a pony laying in the dust cloud, once the dust had settled he was able to see to his surprise the figure was a good sized Alicorn stallion, with a deep black coat, his mane and tail from what he assumed was ⅔ the same shade of black as his coat the the last ⅓ being a Sharp silver color, he could see the ponies wings were mostly black with the tips of his feathers being the same Sharp silver as his mane and tail, the ponies horn was ½ black from the base and the other ½ was a bright silver, because the pony was unconscious he couldn't see their eyes not could he assess his magical skill. Deciding to bring the pony with them calling to a couple guards that were escorting an earth pony who was hauling a cart with enough space for the KO-ed stallion.

After getting the unknown stallion on the cart they continued to make their way out of the pass coming out near a small town called ponyville, while there they dropped the unconscious stallion at the ponyville hospital and had a couple guards stand watch to make sure he didn't disappear before he could make it back, after telling 2 guards to stand watch Shining Armor and the rest of the guards escorted the merchants to Canterlot.

As shining and the convoy of ponies made their way to Canterlot to complete their task, he himself was heading for the castle in order to inform Princess Celestia and Princess Luna the mission was a success, and to tell them what they wanted him to do about the stallion he told them about with his report.

Back in ponyville

Rainbow Dash had just attempted to do one of her stunts which resulted in her injuring her hoof and her left wing, as she entered the hospital she noticed guards blocking a door to all except doctors. After getting her wing and hoof looked at and bandaged.

"Hey Nurse Redheart, what's with the guards outside the door down the hall?" Rainbow Dash asked as she looked to the nurse that had fixed her up.

Upon hearing the question the nurse "Shining armor and his convoy brought a stallion in here about an hour ago after coming across him unconscious in the mountain passage" Nurse Redheart said to her curious patient.

Rainbow Dash on hearing her answer nodded her head before "alright well thanks for the patch Nurse Redheart i'm going to head home and get some rest" Rainbow Dash said as she left the hospital. When Rainbow Dash left the hospital she made her way home before quickly flying up to her cloud house to not irritate her injured wing, deciding it was too early for sleep she made her way town squares very own SugarCube Corner that her friend Pinkie Pie was often found at.

As soon as Rainbow Dash made her way through the door to the Bakery, her friend Pinkie behind the counter before she called out to her "Hey Pinkie"

"Hey Dash, What Can i getcha" Pinkie asked excitedly as she looked at her friend.

"Ah Pinkie don't tell me you forgot what I always get when I come in" Rainbow Dash feinting a hurt tone as she jokingly said before continuing "6 blueberry muffins with rainbow sprinkles".

"Coming right up Dash" Pinkie said as she went to grab her friend's favorite snack, after the exchange was done Rainbow Dash stayed and chatted with her friend while enjoying a couple of the muffins. When they finished chatting Rainbow Dash bid her friend a farewell and received one in return before heading back to her house to rest as it had gotten late while they talked. After getting home Dash ate one of the muffins before yawning. She put her muffins away and decided to go to sleep hoping her wing was well enough to fly.

Time Skip: Morning

During the early hours of the morning the stallion began to stir as Nurse Redheart was in the room and had one of the guards go to the library so twilight could send her a message. Within the hour after Princess Celestia received the letter she and Shining Armor made their way to ponyville in the Royal Chariot. Once they got there they were quickly let to the patience room as he was sitting up while looking out the window, upon hearing the door opening he saw an alicorn mare that stood about 6'5 if he had to guess, while there was a armor clad stallion that followed in shortly after. When the guard fully entered the room he closed the door behind him before the mare spoke in a soft voice, "hello, my name is Princess Celestia may I ask what your name is?".

"Silver Shade" the newly named Silver said while looking out the window.

"Well Silver from what Captain Armor here told me, do you mind telling me what caused you to collide with the mountain pass clearing and cause a crater?" Celestia asked as she motioned to Shining Armor when she said Captain.

"If I knew, I would say but I don't remember anything aside from my name, I don't even know where I am at nor even where I am from" Silver said as he glanced at the pair near the door while saying that.

Before she could ask Nurse Redheart opened the door to check on the patient. As she saw the two near the door she greeted them "ah good morning Princess Celestia, Captain Armor", after she received a greeting from the two she went over to the bed to check Silver's vitals after seeing they were normal she changed his bandages before heading out of the room.

After Rainbow Dash woke up she ate a quick breakfast consisting of her favorite muffins before she made her way to the hospital to see if her wing was well enough to perform her duties as weather captain of ponyville. When she was getting close to the hospital she saw the Royal Chariot sitting close by and a pair of guards at the hospital entrance when she got close enough one of the guards spoke, "Halt, the Princess has directed that no one enters unless they are seeking medical attention" the guard finished as he looked at the Pegasus mare.

"I came to see Nurse Redheart to know if I was okay to do my job as weather captain." Rainbow Dash said to the guard gesturing to her wrapped wing.

Upon hearing and seeing it was indeed medical the guards let her pass and returned to their positions. After Rainbow Dash entered the hospital she made her way to the front desk before asking if Nurse Redheart was available, before she was told she was currently busy with something but if she wished to wait she would be informed on when the nurse was available.

Rainbow Dash was currently sitting in the waiting room, thinking about why the Princess was here unless it had something to do with the stallion the guards brought in yesterday. As if on cue the Princess stepped out of the room passed the guards stationed with Shining Armor behind her, just before the door closed Rainbow Dash was able to catch a brief glance at the pony in the room and was able to see the pony was a black stallion with a black and silver mane due to him being covered and the door closing soon after she wasn't able to see much else.

After the door closed she saw Princess Celestia and Shining Armor making their way to her when they got close "Good morning Princess, Shining how have you two been" Rainbow Dash greeted the two.

"A good morning to you as well Miss Dash, and things have been well" Celestia spoke to the mare who along with her friends had saved the ponies of Equestria a hoofful of times.

"Morning Dash, and things have been fair enough," Shining Armor said to his sister's friend.

A few minutes rolled by until Nurse Redheart came over to the group "I'm sorry to intrude but I need to borrow Rainbow Dash as she wanted to get her injuries checked out" Nurse Redheart said in an apologetic tone as she didn't want to interrupt anything. After Rainbow Dash excused herself she and Nurse Redheart went to a room before she started checking on the mare's injuries to see how they were fairing.

"Lovely your injuries are almost healed you should be able to return to work but just don't strain yourself and try to be more careful when you do your stunts" Nurse Redheart said to the reckless Pegasus.

"That's awesome, and ahh you know you enjoy my company" Rainbow Dash said to the nurse

"While that may be true I don't enjoy the fact your stunts almost always land you in here with a new injury" Nurse Redheart said as if she was scolding a foal.

"Alright I will try to be more careful with my stunts," Rainbow Dash said as she looked at Nurse Redheart.

After getting the all clear to be able to do her job as long as she didn't push it she thanked Nurse Redheart and left the hospital to go clear the skies before lazing about for the day. After Rainbow Dash left the hospital we see Princess Celestia and Shining Armor talking to Nurse Redheart "since it seems that Silver has lost his memory we can't keep him under lock and key so when he is able to walk on his own he can be released from the hospital with at least a monthly checkup just to see if he is remembering anything" Princess Celestia said to the Nurse as she excused herself as she had to get back to Equestria in order to deal with the stack of paperwork that has most likely tripled since she has been away for the last few hours.

Time Skip: Afternoon 1 week later

It had been a long week since he was brought to the hospital and he was finally well enough to leave the hospital under the agreement he had to have a monthly checkup. As he was told he could leave the hospital he was also informed to head for the Mayor's office to figure out where he could stay if he chose to live here. When the Nurse gave him the directions to the mayor's office he thanked her for taking care of him before he left to get situated, as he stepped out of the hospital he noticed that it was a fairly quiet small town. After getting his bearings he made his way to town hall to talk to the mayor, after entering the town hall he noticed the mayor's secretary was reading from a magazine and didn't seem to notice him enter, as he stood before the mayor's secretary he noticed she had a dark orange coat with a peach colored mane and tail with yellow eyes.

Making his presence known Silver clears his throat causing the mare to jump and look at him before blushing, as she looked at the stallion in front of her she saw a 6'8 Alicorn Stallion, whose coat was a deep black, his mane and tail from what she guessed was ⅔ the same shade of black as his coat while the the last ⅓ being a Sharp silver color, she could see that his wings were mostly black with the tips of his feathers being the same Sharp silver as his mane and tail, his horn was ½ black from the base and the other ½ was a bright silver, and as she looked in to the stallions eyes she felt her heart skip a beat as the eyes staring at her were a nice crimson red.

Seeing he had her attention "is the Mayor in?" Silver asked in a fairly deep monotone causing the secretary to shiver slightly, the secretary not trusting her voice simply nodded. "Is she busy?" Shadow asked as he received a negative shake from the mare, seeing as he wasn't going to get a vocal response Silver walked past and to the door that said Mayor Mare on it before giving it a couple of knocks to which he heard a voice say "come in" before walking through the door.

After entering he closed the door behind him seeing the Mayor look up from what she was working on, upon walking to her desk he notice that she was light tan coated pony in her mid to late 40's, with a off white and grey mane and tail, and she had a pair of obtuse framed glasses resting on her nose. "Ah you must be the pony that Ms. Redheart came and said might stop by" Mayor Mare said to the stallion who nodded. "yea, Nurse Redheart said you could help me get situated if I decided to stay" Silver said to the Mayor as she nodded before moving over to a filing cabinet that was by the window, after she searched for a minute she pulled out a file.

With the file in hoof Mayor Mare made her way back to her desk to see what properties she had available for the young stallion, after shifting for a few seconds she pulled out a piece of paper before "so we do not currently have any available places in town but we do have a mid sized cottage at the edge of town near a hill, the previous tenants moved out to be with family in Manehattan, would this be suitable for you Mr. Shade" Mayor Mare said to the pony in front of her.

"That will be just fine. I prefer it that way actually" Silver said in a monotone that held little to no emotion from what she could tell.

"Excellent, now I will need you to sign a couple documents. And as you are new in town I would assume you don't have a line of work" Mayor Mare said as she passed him the proper documents and a pen.

"That would be correct Ms. Mayor" Silver said as he signed the documents before passing them back to the Mayor.

"Since I was informed of what happened I would only assume you don't know what you are specialized in but outside the building there is a bulletin board that has various odd jobs you can pick up. Now while you are unemployed I will not charge you this month, but for a cottage that size it would be 125 bits a month for everything except food, does that sound alright with you" Mayor Mare asked as she looked up from the sheet she was reading from.

"That seems manageable," Silver said as he asked for the directions to where he was going to be staying. Another 15 minutes of the Mayor telling him about different things of ponyville, he excused himself before exiting town hall and began making his way to where he would be living as he made his way through town.

It was about mid evening by the time he got out of the Mayor's office, as he was walking he was getting odd looks from the various inhabitants to which he ignored, as he passed various buildings he was heading through the northeastern part of the town, a sudden pink blur stopped in front of him causing him to stop as well as he looked at the pink coated mare that had a fluffy pink mane and tail, before he started to walk around her she was right back in front of him.

"Hi my name is Pinkie Pie, what's your name?. You must be new here because I know every pony in ponyville but I don't know you so that means you just got here" Pinkie Pie said rather excitedly before she continued "YAY since you are new I get to throw you a welcome to ponyville party" Pinkie said more excitedly than before if it was possible.

"Silver Shade" Silver said before walking around the mare once again continuing on his way to the cottage missing the saddened look Pinkie Pie had gained as she slowly walked back into town quietly sniffling. As a certain cyan blue Pegasus was walking through town she noticed Pinkie Pie looking sad so she made her way to her friend to see what was wrong.

"Hey Pinks what's the matter?" Rainbow Dash asked her friend never seeing her this sad before unless some pony was mean to her.

Hearing her friend ask from in front of her Pinkie Pie looked up at Dash still sniffling before managing a small mumble "I just met some new pony and offered to throw him a party but he ignored me and walked off towards the old windmill". Rainbow Dash at hearing that some pony could be mean to some pony as nice as Pinkie made her furious "don't worry Pinks I'm going to go have a word with this pony for being so rude to you" Rainbow Dash said as she started to head for where Pinkie last saw the pony.

After finding the cottage, he saw that it was a fairly good sized 2 story cottage, when Silver entered he noticed it was dark enough inside to where he could hardly see, so he felt the wall next to him before he found a light switch and promptly flipped it up thankfully turning the lights on, as he began to look around the cottage to familiarize himself with his new home for who knows how long, after he finished exploring the house he decided to see if he had running water to which he did. Deciding to take a quick shower while making a mental list of things that he would need to do tomorrow, after his shower he opened the shower curtains he noticed the lack of towels, quickly closing the curtain and shaking himself slightly dry he stepped out as he lightly shrugged it off and added that to the mental list of things to get after he started doing odd jobs. After another 15 minutes Silver was dry and as he turned the light on to the bedroom before turning out the lights in the living room and hallway, after entering the bedroom and seeing the bed was without a comforter he began searching, he found a green blanket in the closet that seemed like it was big enough and seemed to be clean so he tossed it on the bed before he turned the light off and went to sleep.

With Rainbow Dash she arrived at the northeastern windmill and because of the lack of daylight she was having issues seeing any pony from the ground so she started to fly in the air around the windmill hoping the pony was now visible, after not finding any pony she decided to look more tomorrow, missing the cottage's lights turn off as she flew over head to her house which was located on a cloud at the top of the hill that was near the cottage.

Time Skip: Morning

Silver woke up about an hour before the sun was beginning to rise, so he decided to head outside and do some stretches as his body was feeling a bit stiff, after running around the large hill mentally keeping track of the amount of times he passed his cottage, when he mentally counted to 30 laps he stopped outside of his cottage to catch his breath before he continued on what would become his morning routine. Once he was sure his legs were stretched and no longer stiff he unfurled his wings to reveal 5ft wings on either side of his figure giving him a wingspan of 10 ft. After becoming airborne Silver started to fly laps around the hill he was just running around keeping another mental number of what lap he was on.

As he got onto lap 20 he heard a shout from above "Will some pony keep it down out there I'm trying to sleep" Rainbow Dash yelled from out her window while trying to see through half shut tired eyes at who was making all the noise, at hearing where the voice came from he flew up until he was occasionally flapping 10 feet from the window looking at the source of the voice to see a cyan blue mare with a rainbow colored mane that had her eyes shut "apologies for disturbing you with the noise from my workout" Silver said in a deep monotone causing the eyes of the mare to snap open and look at him, light blue eyes meeting the gaze of red eyes.

At the sudden voice jarring her awake at how close it was Rainbow Dash looked to see a black coated stallion with a large wingspan and red eyes staring at her as she was in awe at how he seemed to glow as the sun was beginning to rise behind him as she was facing east when she yelled out her window.

"Don't bother, I'm awake now" Rainbow Dash said before she heard a whooshing sound after she finished what she had said and as she opened her eyes the stallion that was just there was no longer in sight. Pushing the thought aside as to who that pony was she went back inside to make herself some breakfast before going out to deal with the weather.

As soon as Silver heard her say not to bother he went back to flying the rest of his laps, before he would take a shower and head into town to see what kind of jobs there were. Once his laps were finished he landed in front of the cottage and folded his wings before heading into his house intent on taking a shower. When he was done with his shower like last night he quickly shook himself as dry as he could get, before exiting the bathroom and making sure to lock up his house before he started to make his way towards town hall.

When he got to town he noticed some ponies setting up food stalls and others with various items on them, ignoring them since he didn't have the bits to waste he continued on with his task at hoof finding an odd job that interested him. After looking over a few quests he saw one that asked to deliver a package to some pony in Canterlot seeing as he didn't know where the city was and ignored that one and continued looking. After looking some more he found one that said "help needed for 3 days: apple bucking at Sweet Apple Acres, 25 bits a day see Granny Smith upon arrival". Seeing as none of the other requests interested him he shrugged as he grabbed the paper and headed inside of town hall, and past the secretary to her dismay. Arriving at the Mayor's door he gave it a knock before he entered and handed her the request he chose, figuring what the stallion needed as she glanced over the request before giving him the directions to the farm and handing him back the request.

Upon leaving the town hall Silver started making his way to the southwest where he was told there would be a road that led to a school and following the road past the school would get him to where he had to be, after crossing the bridge across the river he noticed the school up ahead and little foals were walking to the school. After passing the school and making his way up the path he noticed a yellow coated filly with a red mane and tail walking towards him. When she noticed the large stallion she didn't know walking towards her she froze in the middle of the road, trembling slightly as the large black pony got closer to her, after a short time the stallion walked past her and towards the farm, after the stallion passed her AppleBloom quickly ran to school to tell her friends about the strange pony.

It was about a 10 minute walk from the school to the farm, after going through the entry way he made his way over to the house where he heard a creaking noise, as he got closer he could see an old pony sitting in a rocking chair on the porch. Making his way onto the porch he noticed the old pony seemed to be taking a nap, so he cleared his throat to get the older mare's attention.

Granny smith being jarred from her nap by a sound close by, finding the source she spots the alicorn standing before her, "mah oh mah you is a big feller aint ya" Granny Smith spoke to the pony next to her "what can I help yall with?" After she asked she was handed the request she had her granddaughter put up the night before.

"I reckon yall do nicely, have ya ever apple bucked 'fore?" Granny Smith asked the stallion and received a shake of his head indicating a no, at his answer she shakily got up before opening the door to the farm house before yelling in "AppleJack time for ya tah get tah work" as to which a reply came from within "I'll be out in ah minute granny".

After getting the reply Granny Smith sat back down before speaking to the stallion " mah Granddaughter will be teachin ya how tah apple buck" to which she received another nod.

"Ya and mah grandson would get long nicely, yall both biggens an mighty quiet" Granny smith said out to the stallion who was simply looking at the sky.

After a couple of minutes a light orange coated mare with a blonde mane and tail with a cowgirl hat exited the house with her eyes closed as she was preparing herself for the day, not knowing a large stallion blocked her path and which she ran into. She opens her eyes wide as she stares at the stallion she ran into before she looked up which was something she wasn't used to doing unless it was to big mac or if she was watching her friend fly.

"Ahm sorry, didn't see ya there partner" Applejack said to the stallion she had run into, as she looked at her granny "ahm guessin' this on 'ere will be helpin buck" AppleJack asked her grandmother which got her a nod before her granny resumed her nap.

"Ahlright big feller follow me" Applejack said to which she left the porch and headed around the house to show the many, many, many apple trees on the farm. "Yall know how ta buck" she asked but seeing as he shook his head no she walked over to a tree while facing him and gave a powerful double back kick to the tree causing the apples to fall into the barrels below.

After placing the barrels in the spots the mare directed him to, he walked to the tree and faced the mare who was watching to see if he can get it first try, he gave the tree a double back kick which resulted not only the apples falling to the barrels but also him putting a pair off hoof print indents into the tree as the sound of compressing wood and breaking bark rang throughout the area. After seeing the result "I reckon you should try less power in yer kicks" AppleJack said while inspecting the damage thankfully the tree would be fine.
