Everyone likes reality shows, but what is one anyway? Bringing a bunch of random people and shove them in one place before making all kinds of challenges each day to see which one is going to be the first to crack under pressure? Or how the drama between so many different personalities will end up manifesting itself? That's the big question.
There was one show like no other before, and it was called Total Drama Island, hosted by a man known as Chris Mclean, the guy who came up with the show and who would eventually go so far in his conquest for more ratings and fame that it would throw him into a crazy route. Its first season was so successful that eventually, it would have enough funds and ratings for many more seasons with all you can ask for. What was the show like? Oh complete and utter chaos and insanity, the first challenge was to literally jump off a cliff onto shark-infested areas with only one small safe area. Eat the most disgusting of foods that were literally made just to make you throw up as if they were saying that they had tasty food, but the contestants were forced to eat garbage, there was no safety in that place, only pain.
Plenty of the people who participated had also gone for another season even though the first one was so hard, maybe everyone just wanted really hard to win the goddamn prize money, but was it worth it? In the end, all that was left when one season was over was that they got new labels on their social lives. A girl could be the biggest bitch on season one and then redeem herself on the next one with just minor bitchiness.
But now? Several years have passed since the show took its last breath of fame it had to offer before it became predictable and with it? The contestant's glory. But there was a certain geek in specific though, who participated in just two seasons with big marks on it, now twenty-two years old, was about to bring that subject interest back even if that was not what he wanted.
His name was Cody Emmett Jameson Anderson, also nicknamed manly by 'himself' as the Codster or the Codemeister...but they were mostly just to sound cool while trying to pick up girls. This guy tried to participate at Total Drama Island to meet new people, make some friends and possibly meet the girl of his dreams. There was one problem though...he sucked! Where he came from he was just your average skinny nerd who wanted to have a girlfriend but was judged by his appearance and nerdy personality.
Currently, he has been taking care of some personal stuff, like moving on from his crush on Gwen, the goth girl from Total drama island where he met her for the first time and was attacked by a bear. Cody had also taken on some help with his therapist to talk about his problems...mostly because when the first season was over there was a lot of mixed reactions of society towards him, on one side some thought of him as some perverted creep due to the actions that he took on season one such as when he was in the girl's cabin talking to Gwen as if it was normal before being tossed out, sniffing her hair without permission, probably trying to watch her get changed before the door is open onto his face... let's just say that after getting his groin kicked twice and his arm twisted. Others felt sorry for him after getting mauled by a bear and hurt plus humiliated on the third season in the crazy challenges with that number one crazy fan.
The rest just called him a simp from scenes like building a whole wooden face sculpture of her to use as a boat...to be fair sometimes even the boy himself thought that he felt hard letting go of Gwen, from the arms of Trent that he helped her be to the punk-ass arms of Duncan, both failed relationships. Why was he so crazy over her again? Maybe because she was the unattainable girl or something, maybe he had a thing for goths.
Cody also didn't want to be found by his crazy number one fan Sierra, sure in the third season he learned to care for her and even become friends, she saved him from so many dangerous situations...but her fanaticism was too much for him, it's not that she doesn't have a nice body when you think about it but her personality is just too much. Using his toothbrush, forcing him to marry her, sniffing his shoes, massaging his feet in his sleep, she had no idea of personal space or how creepy she was being. Eventually, he took action by changing to a new city and now with a new address.
In all these years Cody's appearance had suffered a few changes, now he was much taller, with his baby fat gone giving him more chiseled features onto his face, the hairstyle, and his trademark gap-toothed smile all looked the same though. But his body had gained some muscle mass, not buff like a beast but not so skinny that you would call him a wimp, for now, he was wearing a cream-colored polo shirt with blue jeans and black sneakers.
All the time he had was now being put to good use, no time for dating, most girls were shallow anyway whenever he walked. Cody's priority was to finish his studies in college to become a programmer, though cash was running kinda low, thanks to his parents who would send him some money every month he managed, however, the geek always thought that depending on them for money was getting heavy on his mind. As if the man couldn't take care of himself after all everyone wants to be independent.
As much fun as it is to be testing video games from some small known company as your part-time job, he needed something with more financial substance to help pay the bills, food, and the bus to college since Cody had no vehicle of his own, also he did not want to depend on his parent's money till he graduated.
But right now, he was dealing with something new. Someone from the past that he knows had contacted him and for some reason, he thought it would be better to go there to meet her. Who knows what would happen if he refused to go. It took Cody exactly thirty minutes for him to arrive at its destination, when getting out of the bus the latter sees a building that had the name 'Dramarific'
'...That is so obvious, they are practically screaming how much drama is the only thing you're supposed to care about' He thought.
Cody knew that the building was one of those places where they went everywhere for some gossip about people who were usually individuals that were famous for different kinds of reasons where you would eventually forget about it in a week to those high famous who would go beyond just to get a tiny rumor about something being true about them and scoop it up.
When Cody's eyes met with the security guards, they allowed him to walk inside the path and enter where others could not, guess someone told them that their boss was gonna make a little visit. Inside the room wasn't half bad, it was actually quite decent, when getting to the elevator Cody pressed the button which brought him to a certain part of the building, when it stopped he went out.
In front of him was the door to 'her' office, taking in some air into his lungs to build in some courage, Cody touched the doorknob and slowly opened it. Hearing that sound, the person inside of said office spun her chair around and looked at Cody, giving a smile that felt more like the type of professional grin when you're up to the business.
Cody stared at her, carefully thinking about what this was all about and then finally asking "Do you need anything from me after all this time...Blaineley?"
The mysterious person who had called Cody to come there that day was no one but the woman known as Blaineley! Formerly known as Mildred and former Celebrity manhunt co-host, who had also worked on Total Drama Aftermath for a while. She went everywhere, to be honest even participating in the third season of Total Drama World Tour but quickly being eliminated, but if he had to say what she was with the little he knew back then? Annoying! Like some evil clone of Lindsay with some spice of bitchiness.
"Well well. What about what? Looks like you have changed quite a bit huh? Not bad I gotta say" She said, before getting up from the chair and looking at him up and down.
Blaineley looked like she didn't age one bit, still looking almost the same as the first time he saw her on the show. The blonde-haired woman was wearing a tight red business attire that shows off her surprisingly perfect figure...and a lot of cleavage to her more than very well-sized breasts. Even though Cody wasn't this hormonal teen anymore, he couldn't help but take a quick peek at the spectacle of his chest before looking away.
''It's a little hard to forget a face like that, you made that clear 'Is that really her? Man, she looks different...like actually sexy and attractive, is this the same woman that ate a pizza slice from the ground? Is this perhaps just some contraption hiding her true appearance? I remember Geoff showing that one video of her being more chubby' I suppose you didn't send that email last night just to see how I was doing right?''
''Oh no of course not, now how about you sit down and then let's talk for a moment, shall we?'' She said with a smile.
Cody, still suspecting something but ends up complying ''Ok what is this all about?''
"Well, as you can see I own this humble environment. Had to work really hard to get this far by gossiping the juiciest parts of all kinds of dramas on reality shows and on, with no fear" She said, almost bragging.
"Good for you, but where do I fit in in this?" Cody asked straight to the point, not knowing why he was called here.
"Patience boy, let me tell you a little about myself"
Blaineley, who is still standing up, took a serious look towards Cody before she closed her eyes for a moment as if the woman was trying to come up with what she wanted to say without getting it wrong.
"I have...for the most part lived on the spot line, to be on camera all day long and be famous to the point people can't stop talking about me, it's what I always wanted. However, I found my call in what truly means something to me"
"Gossiping?" Cody raised an eyebrow.
"You know it. But this line of work? It can tire a person pretty fast, the public image will become your everything and no matter what happens, you must look perfect! And show what they really want even if you need to step on people as the stairs to glory"
The sexy blonde-haired woman then opens her eyes showing a new emotion, maybe determination or something more malicious.
"I was humiliated. That show made me look like a disgusting and ugly woman, revealing my not so classy real name, things that were meant to be private"
'She wants to dig people's dirt but doesn't want hers to be dug?' Cody sweatdropped.
"I failed to pull my parachute when I was eliminated on season three and crashed into a Chinese hut, and while still on a healing process and stuck on casts, I was used as a surfboard for the challenge to the final trio of contestants. All this meanwhile I was on camera, but I'm still here standing! You know what I realized?" She clenched her fists remembering that, anger fueling her being.
"That you should probably have acted nicer to people around you and maybe none of that would have happened?" Cody said, remembering that she sort of had it coming.
"No!" She banged her fists on the table "That I prefer to be my own boss. The one who will rule with an iron grip on making the best gossip company and spread it around the world. And for that, I need you for phase one" She shows a big evil grin.
"I guess that makes sen- wait what?" Cody was now shocked.
"We are the same Cody, you and I have survived terrible things on that show. You used to be just an average-looking geek, but then you participated in two seasons, became part of a band called Drama brothers, punched Duncan in the face. But now? You have been forgotten just because you are not doing anything interesting anymore, and that's exactly what I need. A background sort of character that mixes well in the crown"
"Look Blaineley I don't really care about being famous ok? I just wanted things to be normal rather than a crazy hurricane of drama ever since season 3. Many other of the participants had gone through worse than me, I'm sure of it why don't you call them?" Cody tried to talk it out.
"BORING! Nobody gives a shit about normal crap. Do you think everyone is mauled by a bear, makes their crush be together with someone else, or gets a crazy number one fan who saved you from becoming shark food? They want the flames of drama and I am going to bring back the reality show that did this" Blaineley said with conviction.
Cody felt annoyed by how she just threw all that in his face, basically calling him boring and how that would be useful, it was not like it was a lie but still, so rude. But then quickly realizes what she just said.
"Y-You don't mean to make a new season of Total Drama, are you? " He shivered in fear of the show coming back.
"Nah, no one wants to see the same thing for the tenth time. I want you to instead, dig up some dirt and juicy secrets about the former contestants of Total drama either about their current life or something about the show that no one saw before, you're going to be my unofficial reporter" She explained.
Cody just stares at her feeling surprised at what Blaineley had just told him as if he was going to accept something like that all willy nilly "And what makes you think I would agree with that? I don't want to get involved with the show anymore or make some of the former contestants my enemies. I'm pretty happy with my life now" Cody said, crossing his arms.
The blonde-haired woman looks at him not believing what he is saying, but before doing anything else she turns around, smirking before going to grab some files in her storage, and starts reading them in front of Cody.
"Is that so huh? Well, let's see oh! Are you Studying at this kind of college? Impressive and...you want to be a computer programmer? Pretty simple, but you don't seem to have a decent job to get money for your basic necessities besides what your parents give to you every month. I bet it annoys you to no end huh? Being an adult who studies ten hours every day, no time for dating, having fun, and still needing monetary help from the same parents who always seem to forget your...birthday'' She said with a smirk in the last detail.
After hearing that Cody's eyes widened in surprise, feeling perplexed at how she seemed to know all that even though this is the first time they met after so long, was she spying on him? Or perhaps sending someone for the job instead. He stopped wondering once she went back to her chair and leaned over the table making sure to let him see her cleavage and making a flirty look.
''Cmon Cody, why be ok with just the basics when you can have more? No one will know it's you because my name is going to be in all those publications you're surely gonna bring, and since you don't want fame, how about cold hard cash?" She said "If the scoops are good, then so shall be your paycheck"
All these years maturing himself you think that a pair of big voluptuous tits showing off some amazing cleavage from a business attire that cost a lot of money won't work on adult Cody, right? WRONG! That move made his inner pervert man smirk and jump in a place mentally at the chance, but as he blushed a little he looked away and started talking.
''Y-You think I fall for some nice words, some money and... this?''
''What? My curvaceous figure? Since that...Video" She growls, remember when she was shown blowing air from...both parts of her body "I went onto a serious workout regimen to make sure I have this figure. Regular exercises, good nutrition, and some makeup that is not bad for the skin and pretty much all that stuff to make you healthy that sucks to do because of the taste and the soreness but...bet you love it since you took a peek when you entered don't act like I don't see it'' She said giggling.
'Dammit! Big boobies have betrayed me once more' "I was just...Agh! can't you find some other guy?''
''No, I can't, ok? It has to be you, but in case you are being so hard to convince I may use this resource of letting a certain number one girl with fanaticism level max come find you'' Blaineley used her trump card.
When she said that Cody suddenly turned white in fear, was that what he was thinking she was talking about? ''You...you're just bluffing''
''It's not so hard for me to track someone like her, you know? She is always on social networks, I just got lucky that I found you. Now do we have a deal or should my finger start to get itchy and press the call?''
''Whoa! Whoa, whoa no! Ok, I do it but don't tell her anything please'' He begged.
''Good boy Cody, you and I are going to do great things together, just remember who is in charge and all shall be fine'' Blaineley laughed in victory.
A\N: Looks like Cody just got blackmailed in working for Blaineley as her reporter, what a shame. What will our favorite geek find when snooping around former participants?
