Within a peaceful frontier village just a bullhead's flight north of Vale and Beacon Academy. Villagers greeted one another as made their routinely routes either batering for deals with merchants on wears or unloading supplies from a ox driven cart.

Just few minutes walk south east through a forst, brings the traveler to a clearing with a natural lake, where many of the village's children and older youths spend their time playing in the lush green grass or cooling off in the clear mounted fed waters of the lake.

The place, and it's nearby Village was a local hotspot for travelers and hunters alike. Due to its close proximity to the Huntsmen Academy, teams sometimes flock to the village during the holidays to rest and recharge. One of these many teams were the newly minted second year team CFVY.

Yatsuashi was being the gentle giant, playing with village's children, while Velvet was branding the more calmer children's hair weaving in picked flowers after being asked to do it by them. Coca was cooling off in the lake while talking to the older girl about the latest fashion and Fox was in the shallows, keeping an eye on the younger ones acting as a bodyguard.

Something however changed the jovial atmosphere suddenly, when the one of the children wondered too close the edge of the forrest while picking some colourful daisies. She only stopped picking the daisies and looked when she heard a twig snap.

What she saw would bring her nightmare to her young mind for the days to come as she turned on her heel and bolted to the safety of the hunters screaming her lungs out. Valvet was the first at the girl's side ready to protect the children in thier guard. Her stance shifting to accomodate her semblance without her weapon. She had instructed the girls to go to Fox while Coco swam to the shore and picked and unfolded her weapon and zeroed in on the shadow that swayed out towards the clearing.

Velvet was the first to see the injured woman walking out of the forrest. She was young, a head shorter than her with olive-skin marred by bleeding cuts and bruishes. Her clothing was torn and stained with her blood, over her shoulder, Velvet noticed things jutting out of her back. Part of her face was covered by her red straight hair.

She shuffled closer with only a few steps before her golden coloured pupils disappeared behind eyelids and she kilted forward with a pained grunt, and landed into Valvet's arms. She had reacted unconsciously and closed the gap, catching her in mid fall.

"H-hey..." She grunted as her stance shifting to accommodate the added weight of the woman. She gasped when she felt something wet and sticky against her fingertips. Bringing one hand to her line of sight, she paled at the scarlet liquid coating her whole hand.

"Guys!" She shouted at her teammates, as she lowered the woman to the ground, being mindful to not let the wound on her back touch the ground "She's hurt, badly."

Coco was the first to her side and checked for a pulse. She sighed when she felt a strong but faint pulse beneath her fingertips. "We have to get her to a doctor stat." She ordered, her normal layed back demeanor replaced by what her teammates called her 'Leader mode' and nodded but as Yatsuashi went to pick the woman up, Fox brought up a problem.

"It would take too long to get her to a hospital. Even by bullhead." He said causing a dirtied Velvet to stop her motions to call a emergency bullhead.

"There's a doctor!" A fox faunas called from the worried crowd of kids. She squeezed past the group, her fox ears standing upright on the top of her head. "Doctor Jack is lives here."

Coco nodded. "Can you show him where he lives?" She asked the fuanus who's only replied with a hurried nod before hurrying ahead of them with Yatsuhashi keeping pace the woman's limp form carried bridal style in his arms.

Welcome to Pandora's box an RWBY FREEZING crossover. The prelude is just to test the waters and see if there are some who would want this kind of crossover. Also i don't own RWBY nor Freezing they are owned by their publishers and creators. I only own my oc and the plot that this story will follow.
