"What the hell are you doing here?!" Listening to Gibss's screams was not the way his two agents wanted to spend this morning. Tony and Kate wanted to slip by, but apparently it didn't work, although it was foolish to hope for that plan.

"Gibbs, we…" Kate began, but the older man's stern gaze quickly shut her up.

"I do not want to hear anything! Now you two will go downstairs to Ducky and he will examine you, and I will call Shannon so that she can pick you up and take you to our home," he announced menacingly. Just then, Palmer came into his field of vision with an armful of papers.

This gave a minute break before the young agents continued to bicker and strike against any treatment, but it all ended quickly enough, a little warning was enough for DiNozzo and Todd to shut up and follow the trail of Dhaka's nervous assistant. While Jethro dialed a familiar number on the phone.

"Hi, honey," came a gentle female voice from the tube, and Gibbs's tension eased immediately.

"Hello honey. You can come to the base." Before the senior agent finished, he was interrupted.

"What's wrong, Jethro? Something with the kids?" Shannon asked excitedly.

"Everything is more or less all right, darling, you just have to pick up Tony and Kate, they seem to get sick after yesterday's incident," explained the gray-haired man to calm his wife a little.

"Okay, I'll be there soon," the red-haired girl hung up, without even saying goodbye to her husband. But this almost surprised Gibbs, she fell in love with the children as relatives and worried about them no less than about Kelly. Shaking his head, Jethro headed for the elevator to meet his wife at the entrance.

"They'll be all right, right?" Shannon asked.

"Don't worry, they'll be okay apart from their sick asses," the gray-haired man sighed.

"Do you want to punish them?"

"I don't want to, but I feel like I'm going to have to do it," Gibbs explained as they approached the autopsy.

"How are they, Duck?"

The older man quickly explained that the children would be fine and what medications they would have to take to get well, the children definitely didn't like it. Oh, Jethro already felt that without a fight they would not surrender, it would be a very long week.

"Okay, Keith, Tony, follow me," the former Marine commanded. Both agents had no choice but to obey. As soon as the elevator door closed, DiNozzo and Todd felt two quick but still painful slaps.

"Ay, for what?" Kate was indignant, clutching at the ass, her face was red, either because of the temperature or because of embarrassment in other matters. Tony did the same.

"I think I told you to behave well and go to Ducky, but what did you do?"

"We fought," the agents replied in unison, bowing their heads.

"That too," Gibbs nodded, escorting the children and wife to the parking lot.

"Behave yourself and obey Shannon, otherwise blame yourself, okay?" Sternly asked the older man, although he knew that he could not do without fights, but still hope dies last.

"Yes, Gibbs," the agents replied grimly, sitting in the back of the car.

"That's good, see you tonight," Jethro said goodbye, kissing Shannon passionately on the lips, ruffling Tony's hair and kissing the top of Kate's head.

DiNozzo and Todd got to Gibbs's house much faster than they wanted, although on the way they had to stop at the pharmacy to buy all the drugs the doctor prescribed.

"Go to bed," Shannon commanded not nearly worse than Gibbs and it often frightened. Another problem was that the girls' room was being renovated, which meant that Kate and Tony would have to temporarily share the same room, which most likely would not end well.

"Okay," both agents were too tired to argue with anyone, so they quickly went upstairs, changed into pajamas and went to bed, almost immediately fell asleep.

When Shannon came in to check on them, she smiled softly and quietly closed the door, but first threw a blanket over the guys. The children looked so peaceful, although her maternal instinct told her that this would not last long.

"Mom, I'm home!" The little red-haired girl shouted cheerfully as she opened the front door.

"Hi dear. Shh, we have guests. How was your day?" asked Shannon, doing something in the kitchen.

"Everything is fine, but who came to us?" Kelly asked interested, hugging her mom.

"Tony and Kate have a cold, they are sleeping upstairs, so be quiet. Go wash your hands," the woman asked and kissed the baby on the top of her head, before sending her to the bathroom with a light blow.

"Honey, wake the guys up," Shannon asked when dinner was ready.

"Of course, Mom," Kelly energetically climbed the stairs and carefully opened the door leading to one of the guest rooms. The two agents were still sleeping peacefully, not even suspecting that their sleep was so unceremoniously disturbed.

The red-haired girl walked closer to Tony's bed and a sly smile appeared on her face. Leaning closer to the young man, she took in more air in her lungs and screamed with all her might and in his ear:

"Get up, Tony!"

"What? Where? When?" the guy asked sleepily, having blown up from the bed. Little Gibbs burst into loud laughter in turn.

"What happened?" from all this confusion and screams Kate also woke up, she yawned widely and stretched.

"Very funny, Princess," the brown-haired man muttered, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Mom asked to wake you up, dinner is ready. Only she asked me to remind you that you shouldn't get out of bed," the girl said seriously and sat down next to Tony.

"We're better now, so we can get up," Kate muttered, the inhibitions getting on her nerves.

"I don't think so," a red-haired woman suddenly entered the room with two trays of food, which she had placed on the bedside tables.

"Thank you, Shannon, but you don't have to do this, we can handle it ourselves," Todd tried to insist, naturally enlisting the support of DiNozzo.

"Do not be silly, eat better, after that you will have to take medicine," after these words, discontent flashed on the guys' faces and Shannon already felt that the pills would not end without a dispute, but surprisingly the dinner passed without incident.

"Here, drink," the woman ordered, handing both agents a few pills and a glass of water.

"Well, Shannon, we're better now, we don't have to take medicine," Tony begged, using his most puppy look.

"No, Tony, drink," Gibbs's wife said sternly, apparently taking that tone from Jethro himself.

"Okay," DiNozzo grunted displeased, grabbing the pills and quickly threw them into his mouth, washed down with water. Keith did the same.

"Well done," Shannon praised and gently kissed all the children on the forehead, motherly, and put them back to bed.

"Come on, Kelly, let them rest," the girl quickly hugged her brother and sister and rushed out of the room after her mother.

As soon as the door slammed shut, Tony quickly spat the pills into his hand.

"You didn't drink them either?" Kate asked in surprise, spitting out her pills.

"I hope Gibbs doesn't know," DiNozzo whispered, tossing the pills into the nightstand, "then I'll throw it out."

It was silly to hope that the all-seeing Gibbs would not find out about the pills, and soon both Kate and Tony would find out about it.
