Writers note: I will try to update a chapter every week but I'm not very fast at writing then typing :)
Connor followed the thirium back to the hallway where he found a hand print on the ceiling manhole cover "what can you see?" Katie asked Connor pointed up
"I'm going to get a chair to climb up there" he replied as he walked to the kitchen and quickly asked the forensic guys if they minded the chair being taken, Chair in hand he came back to where both Katie and hank were standing.
Standing on the chair Connor lifted the manhole cover and shifted it to the side.
"I'll come with you" Katie replied not really looking enthusiastic as she was scared of heights, Connor climbed up into the attic and held his hand out for Katie to help her up.
She cautiously took his hand using the other to push on the manhole opening to boost her up, Katie took a quick look the attic was filled with lots of stuff and furniture.
Connor walked forward towards a hanging sheet which had the out line of a person behind, Katie pulled out her pistol a Beretta model 92 and pointed it at the ground so she didn't misfire.
Connor grabbed the sheet and pulled it aside revealing a sewers manikin, Katie jumped a bit thinking it could be the android attacking them.
Katie took a deep breathe and taped Connors shoulder signal to keep going, they moved on shoving the odd piece of furniture or object to the side.
When they were almost to the front of the house they both saw movement
"take it slow Connor we don't want to freak it out any further" whispered Katie even though her own nerves were telling her to run, Connor only nodded.
They proceeded very slowly, the android rushed out at them, Katie squeaked and stumbled backwards into the chair they had just moved.
"I was just defending myself..." said the android "he was going to kill me..." Connor was a bit torn as to seeing to Katie or keeping an eye on the android
"I'm begging you don't tell them" the android pleaded.
"Connor, what the fuck is going on up there?" Hank yelled up after hearing Katie stumble, Connor waited a couple of seconds before replying "its here lieutenant".
"Holy shit… Chris, Ben, get your asses in here now" Hank yelled out for the other officers.
Connor turned to Katie "are you alright?" Katie nodded as she helped to take the android to the manhole cover where the other officers took it to the awaiting police car.
"lets head back to the precinct we will probably have lots of paperwork to fill out" Hank grumbled.
After they had gotten back they filled out the paperwork needed and both Katie and Hank complained that they needed coffee so they all headed into the break room where Katie made them both a coffee
"still got to question that android before we can go home yet" Hank said as he sipped his coffee, Katie stretched her back "its going to be a very long night" she replied
