Writers notes: a bit of swearing in this chapter
Hank and Katie had just entered the interrogation room.
"you shouldn't touch it, it could self destruct if it feels threatened" Connor said
Gavin rounded on Connor "shut the fuck up, come on Chris get this fucker moving"
Chris was still struggling with the android said "I'm trying" Connor stepped in "leave it alone now!"
Gavin pulled his gun out and aimed it at Connors head "i warned you, motherfucker"
instantly both Katie and Hank drew their weapons and aimed them at Gavin
"that's enough Gavin" Hank said gruffly.
Gavin cursed under his breathe "you're not going to get away with it this time Hank" he yelled at Hank as he stormed out of interrogation.
"everything is alright" Connor soothed at the android
"please don't touch it, just let it follow you out of the room and it won't cause any trouble" Connor told Chris who nodded amd lead the android out.
Katie sighed "that could have gone totally wrong"
Hank nodded "let's get out of here for the night. I need some sleep and to feed my dog"
Connor seemed to perk up "you have a dog? what's its name?" Connor asked curiously
Hank gave him a blank stare before answering "his name is Sumo, he's a St Bernard"
All three left for the night….
Katie arrived at her apartment opening the door she tossed her car keys on the side table and hung her black jacket on the hook attached to the wall before making her way into the kitchen.
She grabbed a frozen meal she had made earlier in the week and put it in the microwave setting it to cook, while waiting she went to her bedroom and got changed into her long sleeved black pyjamas and swapping her usual black boots for a pair of grey woolen ugg boots.
She went back into the kitchen grabbing her dinner and sat at her kitchen counter thinking over how much had changed in just one day.
