~ Chapter Nineteen: Romantic thrill. I promise, love.~

"Sometimes," said the horse.

"Sometimes what?" asked the boy.

"Sometimes, just getting up and carrying on is brave and magnificent."

Salvatore Boarding house, Mystic Falls - Late Afternoon

Sora smiles, thinking about his day with the coven. Placing his hand on the doorknob, he is surprised when the front door opens, and Damon Salvatore smirks at the guest currently living in his house.

"Not for long now," he thinks smugly.

"Bye, blood bender," Damon says, walking past Sora, who turned to ask the older vampire.

"Where are you going?"

Damon turns to Sora, "Oh, I'm going to a place that would be none of your business," he says and mockingly salutes the witch goodbye.

Seeing Damon get into his car, Sora rolls his eyes and makes his way into the house. Closing the door behind him, and make his way upstairs to unwind after spending the whole day at Bennett's home.

Sora walks past Leon's room only to backtrack when he sees Leon's open suitcase on the bed.

"What's this?" he asks, walking into the room, surprising Leon.

Leon looks to his open suitcases and then at Sora, "We need to leave tomorrow."

"No. Grandpa heard me out and said it was okay for us to stay," Sora says, moving to stand at the end of the bed.

"You were already pushing your time here. Sora, you're needed at home."

"Why?! Why do I need to go back? I'm needed here. You're needed here. You're still working on those cave translations!" he exclaims, feeling the panic rise within him.

Leon sees Sora's closed fist and approaches him cautiously, explaining, "The coven along with Alaric's help have it handled. We've translated the important parts for this Prophecy."

Sora wants to disobey his grandfather's order, but he can't push past the instinct to do so. Leon sees the internal battle and carefully places his hand on Sora's shoulder, gaining the boy's attention.

"It's Emi," Leon confesses. Katsu didn't want to tell his reasoning to Sora as he expected the boy to follow his orders.

Sora's eyes widened hearing his sister's name, "Is she okay?" he questions, immediately slowly releasing his closed fists.

Leon continues, "She is in New York. Has been for a week."

Sora frowns, confused. Emi has been in New York for a week. Why didn't she tell him? Why didn't his grandpa tell him when he was begging him last week to allow him to stay in Mystic Falls. Then it hit him. He was the only one that didn't know.

Sora pulls away and steps back, "You knew?" he questions, knowing the answer already.

"It's why Katsu had ordered you to come back home the first time," Leon explains, stepping towards Sora, "But the fact you called him back and expressed how much you wanted to stay and help complete the Prophecy he couldn't deny you of that. You've never gone against what your grandfather asks of you. Katsu thought he could handle what Emi brought with her, but-" Leon pauses, unsure if it's right to reveal more.

"But what?"

Leon pushes on; it's the only way to get Sora to return home.

"It seems Emi has been introduced to Mayu's life."

Sora shakes his head, stepping back. His sister was supposed to live her life with their dad in Japan.

"Is my dad here too?"

"He dropped her at the airport, and Katsu picked her up when she landed. You know your dad doesn't like to get involved in the Nakamura family, and he didn't want Emi to get involved with this life."

"That's because Emi was not supposed to be involved!" Sora exclaims. He and his father may not be close, but that was the one thing they agreed on for Emi to be a witch living a human life in Japan.

Leon sighs exasperatedly at Sora's constant denial of Emi being involved in this Prophecy, "Sora. You and your father need to remember she's a Nakamura, and Bonnie is almost a replica of Tiana. So we shouldn't even be surprised that Emi, who is quite literally the physical copy of Mayu, is being dragged into this."

Leon steps towards him, placing his hand again on Sora's shoulder, "We need to get home, kid. You need to be with your family."

"But-"

"They will be okay. I know you'll keep in contact with the coven. We will be back. Your grandfather is not pulling you out of this battle, but he needs you to step back and help him."

Sora narrows his eyes suspiciously, "He doesn't know I'm coming back, does he, Leon? Bringing me back is your plan."

Leon nods, "Katsu is a prideful man. You know he won't outright ask you. Demand it but never ask."

Sora exhales, giving in. It was true. If his grandfather believed he could handle a situation, he would never ask his grandchildren for help, for he would view it as weakness. Any help he needed, Katsu frame as an order.

Sora looks at Leon and asks, "What did Emi bring with her?"

Leon smirked, "Possible locations for those demon slayers."

Sora's eyes widen and sputter. "What? How? Why didn't anyone tell me?!"

"Because we need to go through Mayu's diaries."

Sora raises his hand, soaking in the new information, "Emi has Mayu's diaries. How?"

"That story is for when you get back. Look, Emi wasn't certain if the diaries were speaking of the demon slayers, and it was why she came back to New York. She needed Katsu's help in double-checking the translations and their meanings."

Then another realization hits Sora, "Wait, is this why Emi never called me and avoided my phone calls."

Leon chuckles. "You know that girl can't lie to save her life, and you are always the first one to pick up on it."

Sora smiles because the moment Emi lies, she feels constant guilt and needs to tell the truth. Many surprise parties for other people needed to be hidden from her when they were growing up, and Sora was glad that hadn't changed.

"Can we leave in the afternoon? I would like to say goodbye to everyone at least. I'm gonna call Bonnie and let her know what is happening."

Leon nods, "I will update your grandfather," he says and watches Sora leave the room.

Sora stops when Leon calls him by the entry and turns to look at the older hunter.

"You're doing the right thing. You're not letting the coven down by leaving. The Nakamura is back with the Elder coven now. You're still going to play a part, and if it isn't obvious, they aren't going to let you go so easily."

Sora smiles, a little overwhelmed, "Thanks," he mumbles quietly, leaving, but Leon hears him and bids the boy goodnight.

Storage Warehouse, Chicago- Morning

Derek and Elijah walk into the dimly lit warehouse space, following Klaus to 5 coffins placed towards the corner of the room.

"I told you our family was safe," Klaus motions with his hands towards the coffins.

Derek counted in his head, "Bex, Kol, and Finn," then frowns at the two extra coffins.

"Who is in here?" he asks, placing his hand on the locked coffin.

"One I do not want to deal with," Klaus says.

Derek looks to the coffin beside it and hears Elijah mutter, "I believe that would have been mine."

Klaus waves him off, "Well, you're still standing," he says and opens the coffin where Rebekah Mikaelson lay dressed in a white flappers dress with the white oak ash dagger in her chest. Derek stands beside Klaus. He gasps at the sight of Rebekah and tries to simmer down his anger for Klaus.

Klaus pulls the dagger out and looks down to Rebekah's desiccated state, "Time to wake up, little sister."

Elijah moves to stand on the other side of the coffin, looking down at his sister.

"Any day now, Rebekah," Klaus drawls out and looks to his older brother muttering, "She's being dramatic."

He looks back down to Rebekah, "Look, I even brought little Derek along for the ride."

Silence encompasses the room.

"She has been daggered for almost 90 years, Niklaus," Elijah reminds him.

Klaus rolls his eyes and turns away, making his way towards the exit with Derek and Elijah following behind. Klaus stops in front of the older white guardsman, placing a hand on his shoulder, watching the man's pupil dilate.

"When she wakes up, tell her to meet us at Gloria's. Then volunteer your carotid artery and let her feed until you die."

The guardsman nods in compliance.

Derek sighs, watching Klaus and Elijah exit the building, "Now where are we going?" he asks exasperatedly, following the Original siblings.

"Back to Gloria's," Klaus yells back to Derek.

Bennett residence, Mystic Falls- Afternoon

Bonnie lifts her head and can't help but chuckle at the sight of Damon sauntering into her house like it's his routine. She places the bookmark in the book she is currently reading and puts it on the coffee table just in time to lift her head when he approaches her.

"Hi," Bonnie says with a smile as Damon drops a kiss on her lips.

"I know you like me, but we don't need to spend every waking second together," she says, teasing him when Damon pulls back.

"And you complain I have a big ego. You're not the only witch I know in this house."

Bonnie raises an eyebrow, interested.

"Hey, Salvatore!" Marcus greets happily, walking into the room

"Here," Damon says, tossing the bulky, haggard journal towards Marcus.

"Damon Salvatore! This journal is a precious artifact!"

"No, it's a journal from a paranoid, walking encyclopedia hunter."

Bonnie raises her hand, confused, "Okay, now someone needs to catch me up."

"Aww, feeling left out, Bon-bon," Damon teases as Bonnie observes Marcus open the journal. Damon was not wrong; it didn't look ancient, but it looked like it had years on it. But it looked like a diary.

Without looking up from the pages, Marcus says, "You let slip to Damon about me researching about Enochian. He got in contact with a hunter he thought may have information."

Damon settles down beside Bonnie, lazily throwing his arm over her shoulders. Damon looks at her as his hands graze back and forth on her shoulder. "He's one of the hunters that doesn't want to kill me. I blame it on his curiosity and need to write down everything he discovers in his hunts. When he stumbles upon something unexplainable, he has a habit of latching on to it."

Marcus looks up from the journal for the first time, "How did his research begin into this?" he motions to a page he is reading.

Damon lays his head back, "Apparently, he had a run-in with an angel back in the '90s, and it happened not that long after I met him. Oh man, we hunted, and we partied for months."

"You hunted?" Bonnie says, surprised, sitting up turning to face Damon.

Damon shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly, "Eh, I dabbled after he realized I wasn't the vampire he was after," he explains, looking at her.

Bonnie moves her head back to look at Damon properly as she raises an eyebrow.

"It's the God honest truth. Even with my humanity off, I wasn't that sloppy. The vampire was a rookie, an easy kill."

Damon notes Bonnie is biting her bottom lip. She wants to ask. He looks at Bonnie with a soft expression that he isn't ready to talk about that part of his life. Damon sees it register in Bonnie's eyes the words he can't verbalize to her. Bonnie nods and sits back. Damon smiles a small smile, amazed that they can just understand each other by looking at each other. It came naturally to them, but it never registered to Damon that this was their thing. Sensing Damon's stare, Bonnie looks at him.

"What?" Damon reads loud and clear on Bonnie's face. The blue-eyed vampire shakes his head, still wearing that slight smile. This causes Bonnie to smile back at him.

"Not sure how Damon's escapade is important info to know," Marcus murmurs, breaking the couple's moment.

Ignoring Marcus, Bonnie lies back while Damon brings the story back on track, "They spoke to him in words he didn't understand through visions now and then for a couple of years, and then they suddenly stopped. Since then, now he's spending most of his time researching and trying to find proof of the language of the angels. Even asked me to keep an ear out should there be mentions of Enochian."

Marcus nods, understanding how Damon knew about Enochian, and looks down to begin reading.

"How does he know it was an angel?" Bonnie inquires.

Damon shrugs, "Let me put it this way. He was a hunter, always traveling and hunting supernatural beings. Then bam blinding light, fear of God struck into him yada, yada. It made him so paranoid, and that he locked himself in a bunker only to never leave."

"How very St Paul," Marcus mutters, his brows furrowed deep, trying to understand the writings and small sketches.

"Yeah, well, since the visions stopped, he has gone back to hunting. Still lives in that bunker. Took me forever to get in contact with him. Made me drive to" Damon pauses, remembering, "Can't mention it. Scout's honor," he says with a wink towards Bonnie.

"So that's why you were rushing off back home. Thought you were running from your birthday."

"Why did you have something planned?"

"Nope, since I only found out today the date of your birth."

"Well then, looks like you're going have to make it up to me," Damon says huskily, leaning towards Bonnie only to wince from Marcus's yelling.

"Robbie! I need your brains!"

Damon turns his head to narrow his eyes at the blonde witch looking at Robbie walking towards with his hands in a bag of chips.

"And your chips!" Marcus adds.

Robbie frowns, moving the bag closer to him. He wearily eyes the book in Marcus's hands, "Is this for your Enochian research?"

Marcus moves to stand beside Robbie and points to "Yes. This hunter seems to have first-hand experience of seeing an angel. He writes of visions" he points to drawings that look like scribbles at first sight "these drawings seem to be some type of language, and I recognize some of it from dad's notes."

Careful not to have his hands near the book, Robbie grips the chips and looks at Marcus. "Aren't you supposed to be doing this research on your own before roping anyone in?"

"I just need fresh eyes!"

"Only when you have exhausted yourself looking over all the information from your dad and what you have gathered."

Marcus frowns. He thought Robbie would be interested in this. Ancient languages are Robbie's realm of interests! Unless Robbie didn't like hanging out with him anymore. Was he an evil mentor?

"Have I neglected my student in pursuit of this new theory?" Marcus thinks dramatically then tries another tactic.

"Sora didn't have a problem helping me look over my dad's research."

"Sora volunteered," Robbie quips back.

Marcus tries again.

"I heard what great help you were with the translation in the caves. Of course, Alaric and Leon won't stop praising your genius level, and like we didn't know that already."

"And…" Robbie says, popping a piece of chip in his mouth.

"And I thought you would…." Marcus stops and narrows his eyes, "You're just fishing for more compliments!" he states accusingly.

Robbie swallows and smiles widely, not bothering to deny it. Marcus dramatically humphs and shuts the journal.

"Hey! That's an artifact!" Damon exclaims teasingly.

Marcus mockingly mouths Damon's response back, "No, you said it's a journal from a paranoid hunter."

"You forgot to say walking encyclopedia," Bonnie adds, causing Damon to smirk at her joking manner.

Marcus looks at her, "Not helping, Bon," he declares, irritated.

Bonnie chuckles and shuffles a little closer to lay her head on top of Damon's shoulder, but he pulls her closer towards him, causing her to lay on his chest. Damon hums quietly in content with Bonnie's presence.

"So, are you gonna help me?" Marcus asks.

Robbie sucks in his teeth, "Mmmm, I don't know if I like that change of tone."

Bonnie chuckles while Marcus feels his annoyance bubbling because Robbie was never like this when researching, and this attitude was more-

"You can stop playing Alexis," Bonnie orders with a laugh.

"Damn," Robbie says and snaps his finger, causing an invisible mask to disappear. Marcus steps back in shock because Alexis was now standing in Robbie's spot with a smirk on her face in a blink of an eye.

"How…" Marcus stutters, looking Alexis down and up in disbelief.

"Well, you know the glamour spells I created to do my hair?"

Marcus nods, remembering the quick spell Alexis would use when she didn't have the time to do braids, or she wanted to test a hair color.

"Well, while I didn't want to transform into my brother physically, I wondered if I could visually alter other people's reality to see me looking like him and to have more control of the time spent in a disguise."

"Like putting on a mask," Marcus says, intrigued as he steps towards Alexis, "How did you even have time to work on this?"

Alexis looks over to Bonnie, who is smiling proudly at the girl.

"Why didn't you tell me you were doing this during their training?" Marcus says with a pout.

Bonnie tilts her head to the side, "Alexis only brought it up a couple of weeks ago asking if it was possible. The twins worked on the spell in their spare time and would try it out after training with me. I did tell them to ask for your opinion or my aunt when putting together a new spell, but they wanted to do this," she emphasized with a look that Marcus understands.

The twins wanted to create a spell on their own. Is he a little hurt that they didn't ask him for help? Yes. But that is overcome by the pride he feels. At the rate, the Johnson twins learned they would be stronger than Mike and himself at their age in their magic.

Bonnie's voice shakes Marcus out. "Speaking of training, we need to go over their combat. I want them to practice more on their combat with their magic, and they still have trouble maintaining their energy during longer fights."

"You recorded their last few sessions?" Marcus asks.

Bonnie nods as Marcus briefly goes over in his head when to make time, "You wanna look over it tonight."

"You have spell training tomorrow with my uncle?" Marcus asks.

"Yeah, but it will just be a theory lesson and checking on our interrogation progress."

"So you will be prepared. Bon and I can add a training session after my uncle's class. You cool with that, Bon?"

Bonnie nods.

Marcus looks to Alexis who, nods, "Sounds good" she, says in agreement with her mentors.

"Good. Now, where is your brother, please?" Marcus asks, causing Alexis to chuckle and motions her head upstairs

"He's in his room."

"Thank you," Marcus says and makes his way upstairs not before hearing Alexis yelling,

"Don't worry! This time he will say yes!"

Alexis turns to look at the couple on the couch, ready to disturb them.

"Don't even think about it. Don't you have your little drawings or some sewing to do?" Damon says, waving Alexis away and turning his attention to the beauty seated beside him.

"I don't know whether to be insulted or amused that you know my hobbies. Why, Damon, have you been watching me? Whatever shall Bonnie think?" she finishes in an admonished tone.

Bonnie snorts, burying her head into the crook of Damon's neck to hide her amusement. Damon's patience was being tested, and he was sure of it. Damon turned his head to retort but stopped when he heard the knocks at the front door.

"Hold that thought, Salvatore," Alexis says, poking her tongue out playfully at the older Salvatore. She hasn't warmed up to Damon, but riling him up may become her next favorite hobby.

Alexis opens the door, "Hey Sora!" she greets happily, stepping back to let the boy into the house. Sora closes the door chuckling at Alexis's unusual cheery nature, watching her skip ahead to the living room.

"Bonnie! Sora's here!" Alexis sing-songs when she enters the living room.

Damon moves his head back a little to see Bonnie lift her head, "You can tell me the truth. Hyde hates me, doesn't she?"

Bonnie smiles, "No. The complete opposite. You're just making it easier for her to tease you," she says and stands up.

Damon groans, annoyed seeing Bonnie leave her spot to go and greet Sora with a hug. Meanwhile, Alexis happily takes Bonnie's spot on the couch and turns her body to listen to Sora and Bonnie.

"You doing okay?" Bonnie asks when she pulls back, sensing Sora's tensed shoulders relaxing to her touch.

"Yeah, just…" he exhales, "Just need to get used to not being here."

"Is that your way of saying you will miss us?"

"Oh, you know I'll miss you," he teases, pulling her back into the hug.

Bonnie laughs, wrapping her arms around his waist. They pull back when there's a knock on the door.

"It's open," Bonnie yells as Sora moves to stand beside her with his arm around her shoulder.

Leon opens the door walking in, and smiling at the duo, "Hey, sorry about the holdup. You know you guys didn't have to host a lunch for us."

"Please, like my family was going, let you both leave without being fed," Bonnie says, moving from Sora to hug hello to Leon.

Leon laughs at the truth of that and asks about the whereabouts of her uncle and aunt.

"They are in the kitchen with Mike and Matt."

"I better go say hello," Sora says.

Leon squeezes Bonnie's shoulder in thanks and follows Sora to the kitchen.

Bonnie smiles, hearing everyone in the kitchen say their hellos.

Alexis clicks her tongue and whispers to Damon, "Dang. Sora and Bon missed their kiss moment."

Damon looks to the younger witch who was turning her body back around, trying to hold back a teasing smile.

"You do know I can kill you?"

Alexis looks at Damon and gasps mockingly, "You can?" then smirks, "But you won't. Because of Bonnie and because of me."

Damon turns to face Alexis. "Because of you?" he questions, a smidge intrigued by what her answer will be.

Alexis nods, "I'm going to be the best enemy you ever had" she finishes with a mocking salute. The motion of her fingers causes the vampire to fall back. Alexis stands up, cackling, at the sight of Damon's instinct to hold onto the back of the couch.

"Alexis," Bonnie says warningly to the girl's childish antics.

Alexis turns to Bonnie, "Oh. come on!" she whines. "No one is hurt besides Damon's pride."

Bonnie crosses her arms over her chest, "Are you going to pull this with Stefan?"

"Technically, he is not my assignment," she admits.

Damon looks at Bonnie wanting an answer, but she just groaned.

"You chose Damon," Bonnie states, pinching the bridge of her nose, "You couldn't choose Caroline?" she asks, looking at Alexis.

Alexis shrugs her shoulders, "She's Ty's girl, and I don't mind being friends with her. Plus, it was easier for me to pick out what makes Care tick. Anyone that hurt the people she cares about, attacking her insecurities, being caught in a lie and betraying her."

Bonnie looks at Damon to explain, "Twins are learning interrogation from Marcus's uncle. There's an observation assignment to pick a vampire and see what would get them to react at different levels."

Alexis nods, "Of course, Robbie and I are nowhere near as skilled as the Grim reapers," she teases with a bowing motion.

Bonnie opens her mouth to ask, but Alexis beats her with her answer, "Before you ask, I was thinking of choosing Stefan, but he's a tough one to crack," she throws her hands up in the air, "Nothing seems to phase him or annoy him. Unless he knew it was all a game," Alexis wonders and shakes her head, "Whatever. Look, Damon was easier, and I just take a shot at his ego or mention anyone linked to you to make him jealous. Plus, I realize how fun it is to annoy him."

Damon now frowns, unsure of his reasoning. Should he attack the twin for saying how easy he is or comparing him to Stefan? Then that would just prove her point right and back to square one with Bonnie.

"And the coven," he admits internally to himself.

"Shouldn't you be helping them in the kitchen?" Damon states, not wanting this conversation to go further. He just came over to drop the journal and get some Bonnie time.

Alexis mockingly repeats Damon's question to him, causing the man's eyes to narrow at her.

Rosario walks in, throwing the tea towel over her shoulder, "Lexis, sweetie can you get your brother and Marcus down. Lunch will almost be ready," she says, then leaves for the kitchen.

Alexis smiles and turns. "I'll be leaving you two," she says, turning to leave.

"Don't have too much fun. People are in this house," Alexis adds, passing Bonnie.

Bonnie chuckles at this new turn of relationship. She thought it would take Alexis longer to warm up to Damon but having that knowledge, she can annoy the vampire and get away with it. To Alexis, it was like discovering gold. Bonnie sits back on the couch, letting out a sigh of relief with a slight smile on her face. She looks up at Damon, who places his arm on the back of the couch.

"Hi," she says, smiling at him.

"Hi," Damon replies with a smile. He leans forward, running his nose against the crook of her neck.

Bonnie closes her eyes, tilting her head back; getting lost in the sensation, she turns her body towards him, placing her hands on his chest.

Reaching his destination, Damon places a chaste kiss just under Bonnie's ear and smirks when he feels her hands grip his black t-shirt.

Bonnie holds back the sigh when she hears Damon whisper, "You need a break from all of this."

"Do I?" she replies teasingly.

Damon hums a yes.

"Hey, Bon, we gotta set-"

"That's it. I'm leaving!" Damon states, frustrated, standing up. Yes, Bonnie warned him about being around the coven, but this was ridiculous.

Bonnie laughs out loud, looking up to the now standing Damon, "No! Don't! Stay!" she says, reaching out to grab his hand.

Damon looks down at Bonnie, who is smiling widely at him. Her green eyes are bright from her laughter. Again, he is speechless at her beauty.

Michael clears his throat, "You done making eyes? Cause the table ain't gonna set itself up."

Bonnie closes her eyes, now feeling frustrated only to hear the front door open and Tyler rushing in, causing everyone's attention to him.

"Am I late?!"

Michael laughs, "Nah. Sora and Leon just got here. Bon and I were just gonna set the table."

Tyler's nose picks up the scent of the mac and cheese just taken out of the oven and smiles. "Okay, I'll help bring out the food," he says, eagerly walking ahead, passing Michael.

"That means no tasting before bringing it out, Ty!" Michael exclaims, following him to the kitchen.

"Again, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett appreciate my opinion!"

Bonnie chuckles, hearing the duo bickering to the kitchen, followed by her family welcoming Tyler with hellos, followed by movements moving from the kitchen to the dining room.

Bonnie looks up to Damon, noting she still has her hand around his wrist. "You want to stay?" she asks.

"To celebrate the witch and treasure hunter leaving. Absolutely," he quips, sliding his hand from Bonnie's grasp to clasp her hand.

Bonnie rolls her eyes and allows herself to be pulled up by Damon and turns, pulling him along to the kitchen.

Abandoned Warehouse, Chicago - Evening.

There were no signs of Rebekah at the bar; Klaus, Elijah, and Derek made their way into the warehouse. Derek looks down, walking passing the dead bodyguard, then looks to the backs of Klaus and Elijah. Yep, Rebekah was awake.

"Rebekah...it's your two big brothers. Come out, come out wherever you are."

The trio looks around the silent warehouse for any sign of the female Original.

"Come on, Rebekah. I even brought little Derek along for the ride."

"Maybe we just missed her at Gloria's Bar," Elijah says.

"Or maybe she did the decent thing and ran away," Derek mumbles, walking ahead.

Klaus groans, exasperated, looking at the back of Derek, "What now, Derek? Is my reasoning for daggering my sister going to be your new grudge to lord over me?"

Derek pauses and turns around. "She chose Stefan," he mutters in disbelief, remembering the story only to turn into a laugh of contempt, "Even now. You still haven't changed, Klaus. It's always about you."

"Derek..." Elijah says warningly, sensing his brother's bubbling frustration.

"She chose him over family," Klaus reasons as calmly as he could.

"No. Bex chose a chance of freedom over being held down by you!"

Klaus moves to attack Derek, but Rebekah steps protectively in front of Derek driving the stake into his chest, "Go to hell, Nik!" she yells.

"Still protecting little Derek," Klaus snickers taking the dagger out of his chest, "You knew that wouldn't kill me."

Rebekah rolls her eyes, "Yeah, but I was hoping it would hurt more."

"Bex," Derek says, causing the blonde vampire to turn around to face him.

Rebekah raises her hand motion him not to say anymore, "I am still mad at you," she says as sternly as she can muster before pulling him into a hug.

Derek smiles, hugging her back. Rebekah was very selective of who she was affectionate with, and Derek counted himself lucky to be on the receiving end of her care towards him since the day Klaus granted his wish to turn him.

Klaus clears his throat causing the two to separate, "Lovely reunion. And now the reason you're here. Gloria tells me you know how to get in contact with the Original witch."

"He means our mother," Elijah states.

Klaus dismisses his brother's correction with a wave of his hand, looking to his sister, "What do you have that Gloria needs?"

Derek watches Rebekah move her hand to her bare neck, and it clicks to him.

"Of course," he remembers.

"Where's my necklace?" Rebekah says in panic and looks to her hybrid brother, "What did you do with it? I'd never take it off!"

Derek looks to Elijah, who seems to be baffled by the missing jewelry. Derek looks to Klaus. The last person with Rebekah.

"I don't know! I didn't touch it," Klaus says, raising his hands in surrender.

Rebekah growls in frustration, "We need to find it, Nik, now! I want it back!" she screeches, turning to look in her coffin.

Klaus's eyebrows furrow and Derek sees the moment Klaus remembers the necklace that Rebekah is seeking.

"Tell me that is not what she needs, Rebekah!" Klaus exclaims, frustrated with another hurdle to overcome. All he wants is to turn a couple of werewolves into hybrids and create his army to defeat the Chosen One. Or, if it was his way, have the beautiful Bennett hybrid by his side with a hybrid army for them to rule. Was that so hard?

Rebekah throws her coffin to the ground angrily. Derek, not phased by Rebekah's screams, touches her arm. She looks at him, pausing her anger.

"We will find it," Derek he says sincerely and looks to Klaus, "Gloria might be able to do a locating spell."

"If we ask nicely," Elijah states.

Derek looks at Elijah, "You know how important this necklace is..."

Klaus smiles, thinking Derek is referencing his mission.

"To Bex," Derek finishes causing Klaus to roll his eyes. It hasn't even been a day, and Derek is back to being the guarding little brother of Rebekah.

"Let's go ask Gloria where this missing necklace is. You just had to lose it," Klaus says, exasperated.

"I didn't lose it, Nik! You did!"

"All I did was dagger you and tossed you into the coffin."

"God, Nik, you didn't even get me decent clothes to change into!"

"Do I look like your butler?!" Klaus bickers back.

Derek looks to Elijah, "You think anyone would believe that's the Original hybrid?" he asks, causing Elijah to snort in an ungentlemanly manner.

"I heard that!" Klaus yells out.

Robbie and Alexis's bedroom, Bennett residence

Robbie studies the image on his laptop's screen, then looks down at the symbol on the page, quickly sketches the signs, and writes the English letter corresponding to the symbol. He looks at the line of characters in the journal and draws the following two symbols. Robbie looks to the screen and scrolls to find the corresponding letter to the second and third symbols. He sees the letter for the third but doesn't find it for the second symbol.

"It hasn't been discovered," he mutters and leans forwards to note that and writes the possible English letter unknowingly that he was being closely watched. Archangel Uriel leans over Robbie's shoulder to see what he has written down so far and whispers a wow when he sees that Robbie is pretty close to the translation of all the symbols he has drawn up so far. The words may not make sense to him, but it's pretty close.

"I knew you were smart for a human, but this is astounding at your age," Archangel Uriel states, amazed, and turns his head to look at the side profile of Robbie's face. The archangel wished at this moment that he could reveal himself to his charge and tell him how brilliant he is. Archangel Uriel smiles a little and goes back to reading over Robbie's shoulder. Soon, and he will soon have a chance to converse with him.

Archangel Raphael breathes a sigh of relief when he appears at his destination and finds the brother he was sent to find. It had been centuries since he transported around Earth, let alone pay attention to this realm. The archangel looks around the room only to frown at the sight in front of him. With his hands behind his back, Archangel Uriel stared inquisitively at his charge, then looked over his charge's shoulder to whatever the young witch was in deep concentration of reading. This scene in front of him was not good. Uriel was going to get attached to his witch.

"What are you doing?"

"Ah!" Archangel Uriel screamed, only to put his hands on his mouth and look down to see Robbie still engrossed in the journal.

Archangel Uriel stood up straighter, looking at Archangel Raphael standing at the foot of the bed.

"You need a bell, Raphael!" he exclaims.

Arcangel Raphael motions to the scene, "And you need not get attached."

"I am getting to know my charge. What are you doing here?"

"Looking for you, Archangel Michael has called a meeting for us. I'm wondering if I should even ask why you are bothering to get to know your..." he looks at Robbie, "witch."

"We are going to have to train them and help them find their demon slayers. So I would like to get to know him and connect with him. I do have a lot to-" he pauses. "Well, compared to you, I don't have a lot to catch up on this Earth."

Archangel Raphael rolls his eyes, "He is a human; that is all you need to know," he scoffs, "This is why you're the weakest out of all of us."

"Only you would be rushing off to do more researching after lunch!"

Archangel Uriel sees his brother stiffen and looks over to see a young black girl walk into the room with a big smile on her face. She jumps onto the bed.

"Lexis!" Robbie exclaims.

The girl giggles from her brother's annoyed expression, "Whatchu doing?" she asks, knowing it would take away that frown.

Robbie can't help but smile a little from his sister's curiosity.

He lifts the journal, "Reading or at least trying to."

Alexis sees the familiar journal and sighs, exasperated at her brother's habit, "Please don't tell me you took this on and kicked Marcus out of the room?"

"I did not do that. I asked Marcus if I could have a look at the journal on my own before chatting with him and mom."

Alexis leans forward and tries to decipher what her brother is reading, "I've never seen these symbols, and they look..." Alexis pauses, unsure of what she was thinking was correct.

"Incomplete," he answers.

Alexis looks up at Robbie and smiles a little that he thought the same. Robbie smiles back, knowing that while his sister may not be interested in translating languages, she always felt unsure of getting involved.

"You're right. So this is a journal of a very paranoid hunter. Damon told Marcus that an angel showed up in a blinding light and spoke to this hunter in a language he never understood. So the hunter got curious," Robbie points out to the frantically rushed sentences written down for Alexis to read.

"He started having visions of these symbols," she surmises.

Robbie nods, "These visions, unfortunately, don't make sense to this hunter, and it shows with these quick scribbles."

"So these signs he sees in his dream you believe is the Enochian language?"

"I believe so. While I haven't done any deeper research besides a quick one on Google."

"Obviously," Alexis teases.

Robbie continues ignoring her obvious sarcasm flipping the book to the last page, "He started translating what he thought each alphabet could translate to, but it seems these visions affected him physically. Headache, nausea, and fatigue. So, he wrote down what he could. It could be a syntax foundation for me to start with, but I do wonder if the phonetics of the language could connect to a sound frequency?"

Alexis shakes her bewildered, "How did you even reach that theory?"

Robbie scrunches his nose, explaining, "When the hunter explains his first run-in with the angel, he mentions a blinding light and a high pitched tone, but it would differentiate in pitches until he was able to hear what he guesses are words. The language he must have been hearing was in those pitches until it was at the right frequency for human ears."

"Isn't he brilliant!" Archangel Uriel exclaims proudly, looking at his brother.

Archangel Raphael rolls his eyes.

"Wouldn't the hunter be a prophet...well, a possibly failed one?" Alexis wonders aloud, causing Archangel Raphael to raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his witch's statement.

"How did you get to that theory?"

"It must have chosen that hunter for a reason. From what I believe, angels don't communicate to humans for shits and giggles."

"True," Robbie says.

"There must be a message here. Maybe it's not in order and mostly not coherent enough, but it could be a start."

Archangel Raphael winces when he feels Uriel excitedly hit his back with his hand, "Your charge is also brilliant! The twins are brilliant!"

"When did this all start for the hunter?" she asks.

Robbie flicks to the page with an entry about the first run-in of the angel. "The entries dated in the 90s', and the first one is dated …" he trails off with his eyes widening at the date.

"What?" Alexis asks.

"When was Bonnie born?" Robbie's question needed to be clarified; he wasn't jumping to conclusions.

"Uhhh," Alexis closes her eyes, trying to remember, "5th February 1992."

"This was dated 5th February 1992. It could be a coincidence," he tries with a shrug.

"You know Mr. Bennett doesn't believe in coincidence. A message about the Prophecy?"

"Maybe," Robbie says, but Alexis hears the intriguing in her brother's tone.

"Thanks, sis"

Alexis quirks an eyebrow at her brother, "All I did was talk."

Robbie shakes his head, "You helped me get a head start. I may have put the pressure on myself to give Marcus answers."

Alexis just gives him a knowingly look that tells him she isn't surprised.

"We have the smartest witches ever!"

Archangel Raphael ignores Archangel Uriel's exclamation, "We also have an archangel that has been talking."

Archangel Uriel groans of how quick to business his brother was, "So what?"

"They could have been derailing Michael's plan by talking to this human," Archangel Raphael motions to the journal. "These messages are in these witches' hands."

Archangel Uriel pinches the bridge of his nose, sighing. If he were a human, he would undoubtedly get what they call a headache. He looks to Archangel Raphael, "The hunter couldn't even translate what was said."

"Didn't I just hear you say how brilliant these witches are?" Archangel Raphael walks over to stand behind Alexis and reads Robbie's notes over her shoulders, "And you're not wrong, Uriel. So far, your witch is not wrong" he frowns at the incomplete line recognizing the familiar phrases.

Archangel Uriel sees the expression change, "What is it?" he asks.

"I need to go. You need to go to Michael. I will meet you there," Archangel Raphael says, standing up straighter and disappearing.

Archangel Uriel blinks a couple of times and looks around in shock, looking up to the ceiling, "You know I hate it when you do that!" he exclaims, then looks at the twins flipping through the pages.

Archangel Uriel crouches down on one knee, looking up at them. "Don't worry, Alexis, I'll help you deal with Raphael's attitude," he says, then looks to Robbie, "I can't wait to get to know you better," he finishes with a smile and disappears from the room.

Robbie shivers slightly and lifts his head. He turns his head to the side, staring at an empty spot.

"Everything okay?" he hears his sister ask, bringing him back to their conversation.

"Yeah. Yeah," Robbie voices and goes back to reading the page with the help of Alexis.

Gloria's

Chicago, Illinois - Evening

Gloria lights the last candle and hears the door open. The witch looks up to see Rebekah walking with her brothers and Derek following her. Still dressed in her dress from the 1920s before she was daggered.

"Nice to see you up and about," she greets Rebekah.

Rebekah grins, "Gloria! I would hug you, but my brother's determined that we find my necklace now before I can get out of this dress," Rebekah complained, motioning to her outfit as she rounded the table, curious to see the opened book that the candles surrounded.

"Demanding, isn't he?" Gloria teases and holds out her hand, "Your hand, sweetheart."

Rebekah places her hand into Gloria's as she explains, "Close your eyes and think of every memory of wearing your mother's necklace."

Derek stands on the other side, placing his hands on the table, watching Gloria hold Rebekah's hands, and the Original vampire closes her eyes. The flames of the candles rise slightly and the air shift causing Klaus and Elijah to move and stand beside Derek, watching the scene unfold.

Outside Bennett Residence

Mystic Falls, Virginia - Evening

Sora walks out the front door that Michael was holding. Stepping out, Michael closes the door behind him.

"Have a safe trip back."

Sora holds out a hand to him as Michael shakes his hand and pulls him into a bro hug, "Thanks for everything," Sora says gratefully.

They pull back and let go of their hands as Michael smiles at him.

"You know my family meant what they said, Sora. The Nakamura is a part of this coven."

"Yeah. I know," Sora replies, but Sora's expression does not convince Michael.

"Then stop looking like you're letting us down."

"Huh?"

Michael points and moves his finger in a circular motion of Sora's face. "That forlorn face you're making, and as if we said we were disappointed in you."

"Well, I'm disappointed in me," he grumbles truthfully.

Michael chuckles, "You're disappointed in the turn of your situation."

Sora rolls his eyes because, of course, Michael was better at describing his feelings. He would be a kickass, wise leader for this Elder coven, and he would be honored to follow him.

"Yeah, that's what I'm feeling," Sora says, sticking his hands into the pockets of his jacket.

"Then stop and do what I said. Focus on your family. When was the last time you saw your sister?"

"Last year."

"Did you expect to see her this year?"

"No. What's with the 20 questions, Mike?" Sora says, now feeling interrogated by Michael Bennett.

"She is here about the Prophecy, isn't she?"

Sora opens his mouth to speak but doesn't want to overstep by jumping to conclusions.

"Leon mentioned it's about the demon slayers."

"For real?" Michael questions, surprised.

Sora nods, "I can't be certain if it's information about all of them or just about Mayu's demon slayer, but I will keep you all in the loop with everything we discover," he said.

"Let us know when you get home," Michael says.

Sora nods, "Mmmhmm."

"You've done good, Nakamura, and we are glad your family has returned home into this coven."

Sora moves back and smiles at Michael, "Thanks, Mike."

Michael watches Sora leave, getting into the car. Michael smiles a little, waving goodbye to Leon and Sora.

Once the car is out of sight, Michael turns to enter the house only to groan at the sight of Damon leaning down, readying to kiss Bonnie.

"Seriously!" he exclaims, slamming the door behind him, causing the two to separate, "You guys need to get a room."

"Maybe we will," Damon mutters, causing Bonnie to slap his chest with the back of her hand lightly.

Bonnie grins, looking at her cousin. Michael becomes alert when Bonnie's grin drops, and she suddenly cries out in pain. Bonnie grips the chain and pulls it off her neck.

Damon places his hand on her hips to stop her from falling to the ground as she grips Damon's shirt from the sudden distress.

"Bonnie!" Michael exclaims, rushing to her.

Bonnie quickly lets go of the necklace when it shocks her palm and lets it fall, "It zapped me," she grits out.

Damon looks to Michael for an answer.

Michael looks at the necklace, then at his now red-eyed cousin, "Someone is tracking it," he states, already feeling the urge to go after this witch.

Gloria's

Chicago, Illinois - Evening

Gloria winces when she feels her fingertips warm up. "I can sense something," she informs the crowd.

Klaus grins in anticipation. Finally getting somewhere and hopefully one step closer to the answer for his hybrids.

Bennett Residence

Mystic Falls, Virginia - Evening

"Klaus?" Bonnie questions with her eyes closed.

Michael nods, crouching to be eye-leveled with Bonnie, "Maybe," he says, now looking at the necklace.

Bonnie opens her eyes, asking, "Do you think he knows the importance of this necklace?"

Thinking about it, Michael shakes his head. "Doubt it. The necklace needed for the spell was only shared with you by Amara, meaning Klaus is looking for his mother's necklace."

"Why?" Damon questions, still holding Bonnie against him.

Gloria's

Chicago, Illinois - Evening

Derek watches the flame go higher and the air shift. He takes a deep breath, for he had not felt this feeling in a while due to not being in the presence of powerful witches.

Wanting to get tighter rein for more transparent images, Gloria begins to chant, "Anta Cotis Syrum, Anta Cotis Syrum…."

Bennett Residence

Mystic Falls, Virginia - Evening

"I'm more intrigued of what witch would dare to help Klaus," Michael says, reaching out to pick up the necklace but pulls back when it zaps his fingers and sparks fly from the pendent.

Michael chuckles, profoundly staring at the necklace. He senses the faint magic trying to wrap around the pendant.

"Going against the Elder coven will be marking their death," he says in a threatening tone knowing the witch on the other side would hear him.

Gloria's

Chicago, Illinois - Evening

Gloria's eyes fly open, letting go of Rebekah's hands. The flickering flames diminish, and Gloria stares furiously at Klaus.

"Did you find it?" he asks, not bothered by Gloria's glare directed at him.

"You dare to make me an enemy of the Elders?!"

"Who?" Rebekah questions looking to her brothers.

Before they can answer her, Gloria yells at them, "Get out! You have your answer, and I will not help you anymore!"

"Gloria…"

"No! You will not drag me into this fight. That's why you want your hybrids."

Klaus vamp speeds towards her, but Gloria throws him back.

Klaus stumbles back, catching himself. Raising his hands, he sing-songs, "Now, now Gloria. We will get the necklace, and then you will be giving me my answer."

Gloria glares at Klaus. Her mind made up to no longer help him, and he saw it.

"You must know you're outnumbered. One hybrid, three vampires against one witch."

"I'll rather take my chances than be marked a traitor against the Elders," the older witch growls out, "You have made me sign my death against them."

Derek steps in front of Gloria, "Stop Niklaus. Gloria is right. We have the answer. Mystic Falls" he looks to Rebekah, "Your necklace is with a coven."

"A dead coven if I don't get my necklace back," Rebekah states.

"We have Rebekah's answer, but I still don't have my answer for why I am not getting hybrids!"

"The coven will help us get that answer, should they be pushed to a certain limit," Elijah says knowingly.

Klaus catches on to Elijah's idea and smiles widely, looking to his sister, "Come along, Bekah, we must recharge, then we have a wolf to track and retrieve."

"No, my necklace!"

Klaus waves her off, "Yes, yes, we will get your necklace too."

Bennett Residence

Mystic Falls, Virginia - Evening

Gabriel stares at the pendant in front of him. He looks up to see Rosario walk in, putting her phone back in her pocket.

"Gloria?" he questions in confirmation.

Rosario nods, "Stefan confirmed the witch's name."

"Seems she hasn't reached the limit of spelling out her immortality," Gabriel says, displeased.

"You know she wouldn't help Klaus willingly if she knew we were involved. She liked to stay under the radar from us."

"She should've remembered that before helping Klaus. Should've made the connection with Klaus seeking to make hybrids," retorts Gabriel, then looks at his wife apologetic, "Who do you want to send?"

"Eric and Amerie. She needs a break from all the translation she has been doing. It will be an easy trip for them, and Gloria is not our enemy, honey."

"Yet," he states but yielded from his wife's unimpressed expression, "They can question Gloria and find out why Klaus is looking for the necklace."

Rosario nods happily with that plan.

Gabriel tiredly rubs his hand over his face, "He must know the necklace's location or a hint."

"Then we are ready for him," she says assuringly.

Gabriel hums an okay but feels something is going to go wrong.

"Let everyone in our coven know to be careful, including those back at home," he says and grabs the pendant for a closer inspection.

Rosario nods and grabs her phone to make the call to Amerie.

Records room, Heaven.

Archangel Metatron places his hand against the drawer of a tall file cabinet and watches it disappear before his eyes. He hears footsteps approach him.

"You think I wouldn't recognize your signature, brother?" Archangel Raphael says, staring at the back of his grey-suited brother.

Archangel Metatron turns to the sound of Archangel Raphael's voice. Before he could react, Archangel Metatron was pushed against the wall of the records room. Archangel Metatron opens his eyes to glare at his brother.

"You want to explain why your hand is around my neck?" he asks calmly.

Annoyed that his grip wasn't hurting, Archangel Metatron only caused Archangel Raphael to tighten his grip, moving Archangel Metatron's head forward and back to slam against the wall.

Archangel Metatron blinks a couple of times, unaffected by the impact, "Doing that doesn't answer the question for me, Raphael," he says, bored.

Releasing his hold, "A spell to summon us!" Archangel Raphael snaps.

"Not us. The Elders deserve to hear what is to happen to the Chosen One."

Archangel Raphael barks out a laugh, "Sure, because the great Archangel Michael would like to be blindsided when the Elder coven summons him and trap him on Earth. Maybe I should just take you to Michael, and you can explain what you are planning behind his back."

Archangel Metatron blinks unphased by the threat, frustrating Archangel Raphael furthermore.

"He will banish you, Metatron" he emphasizes the consequences of his actions.

The archangel's gaze softens at Archangel Raphael. He was often punished by others and dwelled in his guilt since Nicholas Blackwell's betrayal.

"Everyone seems to forget that I am in charge of keeping a record of everything that happens here and on Earth," Archangel Metatron states.

Of course, Metatron would have leverage. No wonder he was so confident to have done this. Archangel Raphael runs his hand roughly through his hair. "No, and I haven't forgotten that. It seems everyone has their plan not to follow Michael."

"It wasn't too long ago that you too had your agenda," Archangel Metatron reminds him of the hiding of Esther's necklace.

"Look how well that went," he mutters sarcastically, thinking how this current coven ruined his plan to help them avoid losing their lives to Nicholas Blackwell and hurting Nahla in the process. Dear father, could he do anything right.

"Everyone has their purpose and secrets, but I hold power to those secrets. The same secrets you all don't want out."

Archangel Raphael frowns at Archangel Metatron's remark, "So Michael has a secret?"

"Izanami knows, but it's a trade unknown to us that was made for Michael to be able to lock up the demon, Adara."

Archangel Raphael frowns, thinking of the night of Tiana's death only to remember the chaos the moment with the other archangels rushing to the well-being of their charges. At the same time, he had to hide Nicholas's demon slayer.

"What is it?"

"Only for my knowledge. That has been my advantage."

"Didn't think you would ever break the laws of this," he motions around the room, "And blackmail our brother."

"Things change, and I want us to be better guardians to our witches."

"And you will be," a familiar voice disrupts them causing the archangels to turn and see Archangel Samael had entered the room.

"Samael," Metatron acknowledges with a bow of his head.

Archangel Raphael instinctively stands in front of Archangel Metatron, "Why are you sneaking around here?"

"Is it called sneaking around when my presence is known?" Archangel Samael questions, confused.

"You have never come here nor have any interests. Why are you here?"

"Samael wants to know what happened that day," Archangel Metatron concludes, causing Archangel Raphael to turn to look at Metatron then back at Samael.

"Izanami never told you? The goddess's right hand," Archangel Raphael says tauntingly.

"Raphael," Archangel Metatron voices tugging at the sleeve of his brother's suit to stop provoking Samael.

Archangel Metatron looks to Archangel Samael, who seems unbothered by Archangel Raphael's comment. Instead, the archangel simply places his hands behind his back, "From what I can gather, for Archangel Michael to work with Izanami, he would have to agree to her plan for fate to work in our favor now with our charges."

Archangel Raphael scoffed, "You mean to Michael's favor."

"So it would seem," Archangel Samael replies in agreement.

Archangel Metatron steps away from Archangel Raphael and towards Archangel Samael, "You want to know what Izanami gains from Bonnie's Bennett's resurrection."

Archangel Samael nods.

Archangel Raphael looks between Archangel Samael and Archangel Metatron, waiting for them to figure it out.

"Nothing," Archangel Raphael speaks up, causing the two archangels to look at him.

"Izanami is the queen of the crossroads and the goddess of life and death of souls. If anything, she is doing this to help our brother cover up whatever secret he is hiding."

Archangel Samael shakes his head, "Here's what I know. Tiana Bennett died. Archangel Gabrielle cloaked the Nakamura family's location from all of us. Adara got taken out of her vessel and locked up for centuries, then placed in Bonnie Bennett's vessel when she was born. Izanami was responsible for placing Adara into the vessel of Bonnie Bennett to be awakened when she was coming into her powers."

"Izanami was responsible for that?" Archangel Raphael questions, surprised-looking to Archangel Metatron, who nods in confirmation.

"It shouldn't come as a surprise given that Izanami appeared to Ayana Bennett to create the solution in the Immortal stone."

Archangel Samael looked to his brothers, "Izanami isn't one to meddle with Fate. It's why I do not understand why she would help Archangel Michael."

"Perhaps you should ask Michael if Metatron won't tell you" a familiar voice enters the conversation.

"Christ!" Archangel Raphael exclaims, causing archangel Metatron and Archangel Samael to smirk from the out-of-character expression from the solemn, broody archangel.

"No, just me," Archangel Gabrielle says, walking into the room.

"Our brother is getting impatient waiting for you all. Uriel is the only one there, and you know he's already driving Michael nuts with his constant questions of the purpose of this meeting. I love our dear brother; let's not have Michael banish him," she explains.

Archangel Raphael chuckled, feeling at ease seeing his sister, "Let us go," he says, walking ahead with Archangel Samael following.

They look back to see Archangel Gabrielle place her hand against Archangel Metatron's chest, stopping him from following. Archangel Metatron looks to his brothers, his expression telling them to go ahead.

"Gabrielle," Archangel Raphael speaks up.

"Don't keep Michael waiting," Archangel Gabrielle states in the tone of leaving no arguments.

Once alone in the room, Archangel Gabrielle drops her hand, asking, "You won't be in danger. Should he find out about the hunter's journal?"

"Don't worry, sister, your involvement in delivering the message won't be revealed."

"I do not care for that, Metatron. I can handle Michael. Is this why you were so confident asking me to send that message all those years go to that hunter? You have something on our brother?"

Archangel Metatron smirks, "One that will hurt his pride and anger the others."

Archangel Gabrielle sighs. "Then shouldn't we know now" she turns away, "I am tired of us holding secrets between each other. Michael is already separating Bonnie from her coven. We need to do better for our witches, and we can't repeat the past."

"We cannot risk toying what fate has set out for our witches."

Archangel Gabrielle turns around, asking, "With what you know, does it have to be Bonnie Bennett to rid Nicholas Blackwell?"

Archangel Metatron tilts his head intrigued, "Why? Do you believe this coven can save Nicholas Blackwell's soul?"

Archangel Gabrielle hums unsurprised, "You've spoken to Alexander."

The archangel shrugs, "We've all spoken to our original witches. So do you believe they can save his soul?"

"No. But I believe our witches can rid him before any blood's shed."

"Nakamura and O'Donnell line?"

She nods, "They know enough about crossing and trapping souls in other realms."

"Trapping doesn't certify he will be dead, but I do believe Michael is wrong in separating Bonnie from the coven. I believe all of them is needed to rid Nicholas Blackwell."

"What does this mean?"

"We let Michael prepare Bonnie, and we prepare our witches and reunite them with their demon slayers. Fate won't keep Bonnie away."

"Fate will Bonnie back. You believe that?"

"If not, we can pull some strings to work in our favor. If Archangel Michael could, then why can't we?" he holds out an arm towards his sister.

Archangel Gabrielle chuckles, looping her arm through his, "In war, we must adapt" she recites Archangel Michael's reasoning in actions. Unable to help himself, Archangel Metatron laughs at his sister, mimicking the oldest archangel. Archangel Gabrielle smirks, hearing Metatron's laughs as she leads him to the meeting.

AN: Hello! I know, I know. So sorry for taking forever to get this chapter out. Whenever I thought I was nearing the end of the chapter, my brain would conjure up more scenes, and I had to move a couple of scenes into the next chapter.

Thank you, everyone, for the favs and the comments (I love reading them and your theories.)

While working on this fanfic, I have also been working on another fanfic (I know I still have this, Book 3 for this series, and other WIP to do). But this was because of my TVD x Teen Wolf gif sets I had put together on my Tumblr: If Bonnie Bennett was in Teen Wolf AU. And, of course, my Bonnie x Scott McCall video (on my YT) pushed me more towards the idea of this crossover ship.

The first chapter will be released around mid-Jan [not sure on the title yet], but I will keep everyone updated here and on my Tumblr.

Lastly, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of this month in preparation for the new year. May you find ways to be festive, joyous in these tough times, and please everyone be safe. See you guys next year :)
