Good afternoon, my dear Dragathas. The passionate adventure in the Poenari torture cellar is over. Our darling vampires are exhausted and peacefully sleeping even though the storm is raging outside. Not every member of the family has however, such easy and calm night, not everyone dreams about beautiful moments. Nightmares and lightning, thunders and heavy rain hitting the windows, disturb the sleeping of Alexander and Aurora as well, leaving them scared ...enjoy the reading
After a small pause, I am posting again. This chapter directly follows Thunder one, that is happening on the same day/night. The main focal points are the little vampires. I just love the interaction of pappa Dracula and his kids and the caring, loving approach of mommy Agatha.
It´s not that easy to update so regularly as I have almost no free time but I am trying my best, updating at least once in every 2 weeks. I hope, you are okay with this and still enjoy reading my story.
Thank you all for support and amazing comments that develop into nice discussion, that I simply love. I am looking forward to read your feedback.
CHAPTER 25 Lightning
Another arrow of lightning strikes and crossing the dark night-sky, illuminates the Balaur Lands and the following roaring thunder, shakes with the walls of the Dracula Manor. Immediately, the peaceful sleep of the youngest family member is shattered into small pieces and the blue eyes of the black-haired girl are opened wide. Horror can be spotted in those beautiful irises as they look around spotting only the darkness at first. Another lightning crosses the sky and even though the curtains are drawn, all the light comes inside. Aurora sits down immediately, her vampire vision quickly accustoming to the darkness and searches for something that would calm her down. Her eyes fall immediately at her little brother, sleeping across the room, who is stirring in his, no longer so calm sleep as well. Another thunder scares the little girl, making her jump from the bed and run to her brother, who cannot wake up from his nightmare.
- Alex. - she whispers with scared voice and shakes him to wake up. - I am scared. Wake up! - Aurora even climbs to his bed, hiding under the blanket as well. In the same moment, Alexander wakes up and almost freaks out when Aurora hugs him scared, maybe thinking that a monster is trying to abduct him.
- Aurora? - even the little boy whispers and breaths out in relief when indeed his sister responds back instead of a cruel monster.
- Yes. That´s me. - Aurora nods and closes her eyes with another thunder. - I am scared. - she murmurs with a weeping voice.
- Me too. - the older twin admits without hesitation.
- I don't want to stay here. - first tears appear in Aurora´s eyes. - I want mommy. -
- I want mommy too. - being together, the twins slowly begin calming down, however that changes in the next moment. The door slowly opens and there's no one to be seen. Certainly not mommy or pappa are stepping inside to save them from the horrors of the storm. Again, both climb under the blanket and emit a scared yell, when the something or someone approaches them close and peaks under the blanket. Closing their eyes, Aurora's and Alexander's heartbeat rises, though once their cheeks are wet, they recognise the intruder.
- Wolfie? - at first, they have no idea which one of the pack entered the room, though removing the blanket, they find out immediately.
- Luna. - the largest portion of fear is gone instantly. Their strong, fearless protector is there with them. Quickly, they hug the she-wolf around the neck.
- I want mommy, Luna. - Aurora repeats her request as she brushes the soft, white fur of her mother's wolf. - Alex too, right? -
-Yes. Mommy. - the wolf licks them again and understanding each single feeling and emotion of the little duo, knows exactly what needs to be done. Stepping back, she gives the Balaur twins well-telling sign to follow her.
- Wait. - Aurora though stops her quick movements, running back to her bed. - Dolly goes with me. - she wouldn't forget her baby doll. - Scared too. -
- Flushie as well. - Alexander takes his elephant and spots his little warriors as well... they can be always useful and needed in fight against the storm giants, so he takes them in his arms as well. Aurora has more toys to take with her and cannot decide who to take ... she cannot take them all at once and wouldn't return back without her mommy or pappa ...
- We can take the stroller. - Alexander struggles the same way and comes with this idea. Aurora immediately nods and puts all her dolls and plush toys to the stroller that are soon joined by Alexander's toys as well. Having all and everyone packed, they leave the room in Luna´s reassuring company. Holding hands, they walk through the dark corridor, rejoicing when they see the door to the bedroom of their parents. Luna opens the door and lets the little frightened souls inside. Aurora and Alexander, both pushing the overfilled stroller, hurry to the large bed where their parents, unaffected by the horrors outside, sleep in a peaceful, tight embrace. Now the goal is to climb to the bed, that is much higher than the small beds of the 3 years old twins. Alexander is the first to try his luck ... unsuccessfully though. Aurora comes to help, pushing her brother with all her powers until he is at the top of the bed.
- Hand me Dolly and my boyars. - he directs his sister, who obeys unusually without any protests.
- Bunnie and Eli too. - another 2 plushies are handed to the arms of her brother. Few other toys join the bed as well, now covering partially Dracula's face. The warlord, lost in his dreams, doesn't even sense any changes, just peacefully embraces his wife laying on her back, that is to become the soft pillow for their children.
- Give me your hand, Aurora. - only she needs to climb up to the bed and then they can all sleep without any fears. Following instructions of her brother though doesn't help. No matter how much Alexander pulls, he is just not able to lift his sister. Pushing seems to be easier ... and their parents, immersed in a deep slumber don't react at all.
- I cannot climb, Alex! - Aurora sighs desperately, as she lands on her feet again. - I am too small. -
- So am I, Aurora. Come. - reassurance brings a hint of hope, thus the little princess of Transylvania, clenches the warm blanket in her palms again, and jumps up, being dragged by her brother up ... it´s still not enough, however Luna seeing the struggle, lifts Aurora's buttocks with her long nose ... finally the little girl lands on the bed, and just like her brother, snuggles immediately under the blanket to their mother. Both cuddle to her chest, hugging her tightly, no longer minding the raging storm outside, or the thunder that roars in the background.
- We did it, Aurora. - both breathe out in relief and smile at the same time.
- We are safe, Alex. - nodding they close slowly their eyes, pulling the blanket higher, to cover themselves and smile even wider, when Agatha subconsciously, rather automatically, embraces their tiny figures. Relief is absolute. Mommy is with them and all the monsters fear their pappa. Once the twins are asleep again, Luna leaves the bedroom, leaving all Balaurs to a peaceful sleep ...
-/-
The bed itself is gigantic, yet it seems lacking space. All the body mass is located on one single spot, leaving quite a large space unused. Bedroom, shared by 4 momentarily is almost completely silent. No thunders complicate the peaceful sleep, the storm is gone, new day is beginning. As if automatic, at this time of day (yet later than usually) Agatha's eyes slowly start to open and the vampiress wakes up just to find 3 bundles sleeping on her. Alexander and Aurora are holding her tight, lying again in a position which comfortability she highly doubts. One child is snuggled to her neck, arms embracing it tightly, legs wrapped around her right shoulder; the second one found its peace on Agatha's chest. Lying on her face, arms spread wide, tiny hands clenched into fists holding the soft fabric of mom´s pyjama, Aurora obviously doesn't lack the comfort and Agatha keeps wondering how is it possible that the little ones don't mind the lacking heat of her body and each time want her or Vlad to warm them up ... comfort is though obvious on all faces (except Agatha's), Count Dracula's not being an exception. Although being almost hidden under all those toys that surround him, left shoulder of his wife, where he rests his forehead, is enough to grant him enjoyable sleep. Agatha is completely wrapped in her family and basically has no freedom to move. All she can do is caressing her sleeping vampires, adding to the comfort they definitely deserve after all the bad dreams they definitely had when they needed the presence of their parents. I became a comfortable pillow for my boys and a cold mattress for my little girl. Darlings. Agatha smiles and kisses them on top of their black-haired heads. The soft kiss, light as a feather, however, seems to be enough to start the wake-up process of the youngest family member.
- Mommy. - Aurora whispers with a sleepy voice, eyes still half-closed, half-opened. Agatha smiles gently, caressing lovingly the little back of her daughter, who repays the tenderness by snuggling even closer to Agatha, tightening the embrace around her neck and sighs in delight. Mommy is the best pillow in the world.
- Morning, love. - Agatha kisses the little forehead, which hides partially in her neck. - Slept well? -
- Hmmm. - Aurora nods, though corrects herself immediately. - The storm was terrifying. I was scared, mommy. Alex too. - only now she spots her brother, who clings to the shoulder and arm of their mother, peacefully asleep. - Giants were roaring. Loudly. - with a serious facial expression, she quickly informs Agatha.
- Really? -
- Didn't you hear? - the little one is surprised, however, on the other hand, she found her parents in a deep slumber when she climbed on their bed the previous night. - Alex! - reaching over Agatha, Aurora starts shaking her brother to wake up and confirm her story.
- Aurora, you don't have to ... - it's too late for that however. Agatha doesn't even finish the sentence, when Alexander is being disturbed from his sleep by his eager sister.
- Alex wake up! - she repeats even louder. The little boy stands no chance.
- Uhm. - Alexander grimaces in dissatisfaction, nevertheless, his eyelids start fluttering. He blinks a few times in order to adjust his eyes to the sudden outburst of light.
- Tell mommy about the storm giants. How loudly they screamed. - Alexander sighs, but nods.
- They roared thunderously, mommy. - again, those images of large giants with deep roaring voice re-appear in children's minds. Aurora eagerly adds:
- And wanted to kidnap us, I am sure. -
- Are you? My poor darlings. - Agatha wants to chuckle partially, as she very well knows that her little ones exaggerate every now and then ... like Vlad ... and love catching stories ... not only listening to them, but narrating them as well.
- Yes, mommy. - Alexander confirms, though he proudly adds. - But we managed to escape. -
- Luna helped us. - the little, blue-eyed girl smiles cheerfully the first time since waking up.
- Luna? - usually Lesana or Ares keep the company to the little ones … if not hunting. Then, in such cases, Luna has her baby-sitting duty.
- She came to our bedroom and took us to the safety. - detailed description follows and finally Alexander evaluates:
- Luna is the best. - Agatha herself has been persuaded about this fact many times before and is sure the she-wolf will always be full of surprises. Her loyal animal friend is always somewhere around, ready to protect, defend or look after every member of the Balaur family.
- When will Lesana return? -
- And Ares? - Agatha's contemplation about the bond that formed between her and Luna is quickly interrupted by pending questions of her curious twins.
- Soon. -
- They better hurry. - Alexander would like to have his soft wolf that carries him on his back by his ide as soon as possible. - Maybe they are sad because they cannot sleep anymore in our room. - the little boy wonders. It´s been almost 2 months since Count Dracula said no to the night-long presence of the two wolves in the bedroom of his twins. Their sleep schedule was seriously disturbed, because they spent the majority of the night lying on the wolves, narrating them bed-time stories which they listened to few hours before …
- I am sure, they are not, honey. They just have some duties in their pack as well. - Agatha reassures them and explains further. - Don't you remember what pappa said? How each member of the pack is important for its functioning? - obviously they do remember. Both nod and raising their heads a bit, look to Dracula's direction.
- Is pappa very tired? - Aurora asks as first.
- Yes. - who would wonder, after the adventurous night the adults enjoyed in the torture cellars of their far-far away castle ... little Balaurs have however a different explanation for the visible exhaustion.
- He fought the storm monsters and giants the entire night? - the little girl keeps asking, her imagination already picturing her father in a knight armour, sitting on his stallion Hector, with a long, sharp sword fighting scary monsters.
- Yes. - Agatha nods. Heroic complex of her husband caused that he praised himself in front of their children the first time they crawled into their bed during a heavy storm. Then he promised them to slay all the scary nightmares and she just let him talk about his brave deeds and famous battles until they calmed down and felt asleep again.
- With his boyars? - Alexander asks as well, truly hoping that their mother provides them with all the details like their tired, sleeping father would.
- Yes. - Agatha again wants to chuckle. How could she allow Dracula to feed them with his own self-praise? On the other hand, no matter what, Vlad is a hero for their children and she supports it to some extent. They certainly don't need to know the complete truth about his previous life. Both children breathe out in relief. Pappa was not alone.
- Pappa is very brave. - Alexander continues with a huge smile forming on his lips. He will be just like him when he grows up, Alexander is persuaded about it. - He fought them all fearlessly, like he did your captors. - there´s no doubt how proud both are of their father. Now Agatha is a little bit lost.
- My captors? - this time, Aurora nods and explains further.
- Pappa told us how he met you, mommy. -
- Did he? - she simply cannot imagine how their first encounter could be described to such little kids. Impossible. It suits more a horror story than a fairy-tale. However, the little Balaurs nod in unison.
- Once upon a time, - Alexander takes the role of the narrator at first. - there was a giant castle with high, impregnable walls and a heavy, iron gate that could be unlocked only from inside by a very special key, that was hidden all the time. -
- And there those bad people held captive a beautiful princess from far-away country! As a prisoner! - Aurora takes the lead, once her brother pauses to take a breath. - And that was you, mommy. -
- They kept you there because you are smart and kind and very pretty. - those are not only Dracula's words, but Alexander's own persuasion as well. The blushing boy kisses the cold cheek of his beloved mother and smiles.
- Just like me, pappa said. - Aurora interrupts Alexander and exactly like her brother a moment ago, caresses Agatha's soft and cold cheek. - But pappa said he would never allow any captors to take me away and Alexander will be a knight too, so I am safe, mommy, don't worry. -
- Of course, honey. You are safe with us. - the horrors of the previous night seem to be already distant. Children recover quite easily.
- Yes, I will be a boyar too, like pappa. I protect Aurora. - the little boy announces proudly and winks at his sister and mother as well.
- And what else did pappa told you? -
- That he used his wit and cleverness to overcome all the obstacles and difficulties. - both are happy to continue. - He fought the cruel prisoners together with his brave boyars and loyal wolves. -
- And he saved you, - Aurora seems to struggle with the exact words her father used. It's though only a moment when they re-occur to her mind, - carried you away, because you were his bride and then you had a royal wedding. -
- Afterwards, you passed over 7 mountains and sailed over 7 seas to reach our castle here. - Alexander engages his arms to the story-telling as well: at first, his arms picture highest peaks of Europe, next the movement of his hands, copies ocean waves. Aurora gladly joins his theatrical narrative.
- And then Alexander and I were born and we will live happily forever. - happily clasping, Agatha finally gives up and chuckles. Dracula's children version of their first encounter is ... quite nice, though diametrically different from the truth they don't need to know.
- That´s what pappa told you? - she asks the cheerful duo that comfortable lies on her.
- Yes, mommy. Like a fairy-tale, though we are real. - Aurora's philosophical facial expression is genuine.
- And pappa has a far-far away kingdom with a large castle. He is a king; you are a queen. -
- I am a princess and Alexander is a prince. -
- Pappa said we were there too but I don't remember it. - another question comes from the lips of the little prince. - How so? Pappa never lies. - Aurora, sharing this persuasion, nods.
- You were too little, darlings. - heavens, my husband shared almost his entire life story in a form of a fairy-tale. - Still in my tummy. - there she discovered about the pregnancy; there she manifested her fullest potential of vampire skills.
- You ate us?! - both yelp in a perfect unison, quickly covering their mouths in surprise.
- No, sweeties. Babies live inside their mommy´s tummy when they are too little to eat or breathe properly. - sigh of enormous relief can be heard.
- That must have been ages ago. - children and their concept of time... Agatha just chuckles and tenderly strokes both.
- My little babies, not that long ago. -
- We are not so little anymore, mommy. -
- I know, my little boyar. -
- Like pappa. - Alexander finally sits up and proudly raises his chest. Aurora follows her brother and Agatha already expects her to share the same opinion, though:
- And I am like you mommy. -
- Of course, darling. - finishing the captivating story, Aurora turns around to her father a little impatiently to check if he is still asleep and wouldn't like to add some missed details maybe. Only then she spots something unusual.
- Dolly! - Count Dracula embraces her baby-doll, that landed on him together with another toys few hours ago. - Pappa has my Dolly! - she chuckles as it seems that he holds the doll like he would embrace her, Alexander or mommy.
- And my boyars. - most of the small soldier figures lie behind Dracula's back, though one or two can be spotted in his arms as well. Even though Aurora finds it funny and is grateful to her father for the protection of her doll, she wants Dolly back and thus slides down from her mommy and reaches for her dear doll. Even if pulling, it isn't easy to get Dolly. - Mommy, pappa won't release Dolly! - the little princess frowns and turns back to her mother.
- Oh honey, do you need her now? -
- Yes! Dolly wants to cuddle me. Look at her. - Dolly´s look is neutral ... well ... her facial expression can be described as cheerful and happy. She looks quite comfortable in Count's arms ... no wonder ... each woman would. - Pappa! - the little girl kneels beside her father, who unnaturally doesn't react even though, every outburst of baby cry could wake him up no matter what time of day or sleep state he was. She tries even lifting his eyelids, looking directly into his eyes, though she receives no response. Now first worries reach her mind. What's going on with pappa? Is he sick? All the questions and worries are written all over her face, when she looks at Agatha, seeking help.
- Kiss him on the cheek, honey. - this trick works most of the time. - That will work. -
- Really? - it seems to be too easy but even that needs to be tried. Aurora eventually shrugs her tiny shoulders.
- Yes. - Cruel warlord that had everything in his past lives, lacked only one thing and that´s love and gentle touch, which always attract his consciousness that longs for it and wakes hip up even from the deepest slumber.
- Pappa is a sleeping beauty? - Alexander asks with a giggle, meanwhile Aurora tries her luck and pecks Dracula's cheek. It works as a spell and the handsome warlord starts waking up. Sleeping handsomeness ... or sexiness, more like. Agatha concludes with a half-smile resting on her lips, however doesn't comment it, just observes as her husband eventually wakes up.
- Agatha. - his rough, sleepy voice murmurs, yet eyes are still closed. - What´s going on, my love? -
- That's me, pappa! Aurora. - the joyful chuckle is heart-warming. She succeeded, partially. Now Aurora needs only one thing. - I want my Dolly. -
- Who? - Count's eyes finally open and look directly into those big, beautiful blue oceans belonging to his daughter that stare at him from an immediate distance. Confusion from such a sudden wake up is still not gone entirely.
- My doll. - Quickly glancing down, he indeed spots Aurora's favourite toy in his arms. Not waiting a moment longer, he hands her the doll, as if ashamed that he held her just like his daughter when she sleeps. Aurora takes her doll, clutching her immediately to her chest.
- And my boyars, pappa. - if Dracula could, his cheeks would be red from embarrassment. Not even during his childhood did he sleep with toys (or at least he supposes so as he doesn't remember that much from his mortal life).
- Has your entire playroom moved all over me? - the little ones don't spot any hint of anger or reprehension in father´s voice, that's why they simply shrug their shoulders and with puppy eyes defend the relevance of their deeds.
- Pappa, we were scared. - Alexander reasons with a serious face and Aurora only nods and taking example from her brother, arguments as well. -
- We couldn't leave Dolly and the others back there, could we? -
- And the boyars helped you fight the storm giants, didn't they? - Count's confusion lasts only a moment. He remembers the night ... not only the part predeceasing the storm outburst. With a silent sigh, Count nods and smiles back at his son, already holding two knights in his hands, imitating the marching.
- They have been a marvellous help, Alex. -
- Really pappa? - those are sparkles of immerse happiness and honour! Hours of trainings paid off well and the little one is glad, that the soldiers did not defend only Aurora's doll castle, but their Manor as well.
- Yes. You trained them well as it seems. - morning couldn't have started better. Both children think.
- See mommy, I will be like pappa. A good commander. A warlord. -
- And I will be like you, mommy. - Aurora as well turns her head to her mother and hugging her quickly returns to her doll. Morning idyllic in bed doesn't end as the little ones decide to play directly on the mattress. Count Dracula quickly uses his chance and wrapping his long arms around Agatha's slim waist, pulls her closer, hugging her anew. Closing eyes and returning back to the torture cellar is only a wish that needs to be realized in later hours, though cuddle with his wife and watching the boyar defending manoeuvre of princess Dolly is a perfect start as well.
- Morning, Vlad. - Agatha caresses Dracula's hands, resting on her abdomen.
- Morning, Agatha. - how she loves this sleepy tone of his deep voice. Nevertheless, she teases directly after the morning kiss, still being amused by the way he slept.
- Decided to replace me for a younger, more submissive woman? - she asks, lowering her voice to a minimal volume as not to draw attention of their kids back to them.
- Dolly? - my teasing wife, already in a mood for a little game of words. - I don't need a submissive woman in my bed. - grin, accompanied by a chuckle, returns to his face. That sparkle in his eyes can mean only one thing: Dracula is back in the torture chambers of the Poenari castle, that he will now definitely insist on renovating as well; at least with these thoughts Agatha now partially agrees. - I love my adventurous, wicked, and dominant wife, who knows how to use shackles and rides professionally my ... - Count's mouth is immediately covered by Agatha's palm and her eyes are giving him a well-saying warning.
- Darling, do you see, who is here with us? We are no longer dreaming ... - she reproaches him and as it seems, this approach only supports the mischief and wickedness playing on Count's attractive face.
- ... stallion. I would say. -
- No doubts. - raised eyebrow is a simple proof, that she doesn't believe a single world he says. To gain himself a forgiveness, Dracula kisses his wife.
- Don't you worry, my dear, I can behave when we have kids around. -
- Oh, can you? -
- Apart from wilding with them, definitely yes. - not once was he the one to be blamed for some crazy, childish activity, that occupied the little Balaurs and their father for some time. Nonetheless, Count defends himself further. - Maybe you won´t believe it but I can think of other things than ... - Agatha warningly raises her eyebrows, quickly glancing at their children, that seem to be lost in their game anyway, not paying attention to the adults at all. - ... our bedroom activities. -
- True, I don't believe it. - definitely not when she is around, or they are alone in a room. Agatha can sense his hungry look. - But I am glad, you supress your lusts back to your mind when the little ones are around. -
- That I do, my Queen of the Night. -
-/-
- Pappa! - Aurora exclaims suddenly, leaving her doll unattended. - You are hurt! - on her knees, she rushes to her father and points on the small perfectly circular wounds on Dracula's neck, that he quickly covers with his large palm... but not quickly enough, because Aurora gently touches his hand, uncovering the little scars.
- Are you in pain? - Alexander joins his sister in examination as well, curiously looking at the strangely looking wounds. Agatha holds her breath and Count doesn't know how to react.
- I am not. -
- Really? - both look a little uneasy, Aurora, being more emotional, already on the verge of tears just imagining the possible agony of her father.
- What happened, pappa. - Alexander wants to know as well. Strangely, Dracula doesn't know what to say. Becoming suddenly mute, he just looks at his wife and back at the children.
- Ehm. - simply not being able to explain, he addresses Agatha, who always knows the best. She never lacks a good clarification. - Mommy? - helpless father looks at the uneasy mother. Agatha's brain works at extremely high-speed trying to come up with some good explanation, though the little ones yelp in a surprise again, and before covering their mouths with little hands, they exclaim:
- Mommy?! - both turn to their mother, who reddens, immediately reading the shocked expression of their children. - You wanted to eat pappa? - it's not that long ago, they though she ate them too... Agatha's eyes widen in shock; however, she immediately responds.
- No. - her voice remains calm, though she doesn't feel relaxed at all. The children give her look full of suspicion and confusion.
- Taste? - with this word, the most erotic imaginations come to Count's mind ... yes, she did taste him the night before ... in various ways ... and how many tastes she could probe ...
- Yes. - now Dracula, swallowing empty, finds his tongue again, suppressing the sensual ideas to the back of his mind. - Mommy woke up hungry in the middle of the night and thought I am a chocolate bar. - will it work? Anything could with kids ... Dracula asks himself; however, Agatha would like to turn back time at least 10 minutes ago. Both little Balaurs hesitate, quickly thinking about the relevancy of their father´s words.
- Really, Mommy? - Aurora asks, gently caressing the wound on her father´s neck. - Chocolate bar? -
- Pappa? - Alexander looks at his father, not understanding how did it occur to his mother, that Dracula is particularly a chocolate bar. Maybe giant gummy bear but not a chocolate snack. Frowning like an explorer, he tilts his head to one side, just like Agatha when she is speculating about some theories, and then, just shrugging, fast as a flash, bents over Dracula and ... probes his theory by sinking his baby teeth into the vampire flesh. In a shock, Dracula gasps, Agatha yelps, Aurora just murmurs: - I want to try as well! - a bit offended that her brother did not wait for her, she sinks her little teeth into Dracula's neck as well. Agatha's worst nightmares seem to be coming true. She can already imagine the blood-thirst and loss of self-control of her little, innocent darlings. She stops breathing, her chest squeezes in panics. The desperate moments however don't last long ...
- No chocolate. - Alexander evaluates, wiping his mouth from excessive saliva and looks at his mother, satisfied that he proved his theory. Not even gummy bear...
- Tasteless. - Aurora confirms as well. Dracula starts to laugh, relieved and amused at the same time. He would never expect his children biting him just to prove his statement. Agatha isn't that careless though, the worst isn't over, and quickly sitting down, scans Dracula's skin for any new perforations ... finding luckily none.
- But I am hungry now, mommy. - as a proof, Alexander's stomach squeaks, his tummy is upset and Agatha ... well ... she is worried.
- I am starving too, mommy. - now moving from her father, the little girl climbs on Agatha's knees and hugs her around the neck. Aurora has a special wish ... - I would like to taste ... -
- What? - Agatha asks a bit anxiously, which reflects on her voice expecting the word blood. Aurora innocently smiles and with puppy eyes brings the answer:
- Pancakes with raspberry jam. - Dracula has to chuckle. It became easier with time to read Agatha's mind even without the need to taste her blood and the idea troubling her beautiful mind is just too obvious and amusing.
- And whipped cream! - Aurora's choice sounds much better than Alexander´s idea of an ideal breakfast. - A lot of whipped cream! -
- Yes, mommy! - a giant portion of whipped cream and mommy´s pancakes ... - Please, please. We had scary night. -
- We will feel much better after pancakes. - in Count's eyes; however, all the horrors of the stormy night seem to be forgotten.
- I have the impression that you are already all good, darlings. - the kids quickly turn to their father, that is now surprisingly having a different opinion.
- But with pancakes, pappa, we will be perfectly fine. Much better. - and again, the focal point is Agatha.
- Mommy. - both say at once with pleading eyes and cuddle to her, knowing very well what effect such a gentle gesture has. Amused Agatha sighs in defeat.
- Alright, my little loves. Take your toys to your room and then we will prepare pancakes together. -
- Yeeeesssss. - the Balaur twins immediately stand up and joyfully jump on the bed. The outburst lasts though only few moments, because the little tummies become louder again and thus the little ones start packing their toys to the stroller again. - We will be right back! - they announce as they close the door behind and leave. Dracula reaches again for his wife, surprising her again. Soon after Agatha lies on her back, Count being on the top again.
- Vlad. - she starts chuckling as he kisses her on the lips, descending down her chin to the collar bone and lower. - We have two little starving kids to feed. -
- I know. - words are whispered only against her sensitive skin. It tickles, making her giggle even more. A blissful melody for Dracula's ears. - Pancakes with raspberries and whipped cream. - he rests his chin against the collar bone and looks back at her with a teasing smile. - But admit it, my dear. You were scared a bit. - Agatha just rolls her eyes. Dracula became an open book for her. She can read each expression of his ...
- Nonsense. -
- Hmm. - not believing her, Dracula places his mouth on her skin again, this time moving up, gently kissing and nibbing her skin. - Have you found any new marks on my neck from our little vampires? - he asks as he places a kiss behind her ear.
- No. - luckily not. It would be too soon. - Chocolate bar. You really couldn't think of anything better? You, the master of improvisation, never lacking answers and explanation? - her fingers, brushing the dark strands are slowly withdrawn from of Dracula's hair, her hands moving lower, not resting though on his shoulders as usually, rather descending to Dracula's firm shoulders. Gently gripping them, she overturns him, shocking him and with a giant smile and high speed, leaves the lusting vampire in the bed alone.
-See you in the kitchen, love. - she laughs at his saddened, confused expression. However, as she said, she has two little kids ... hungry vampires ... to feed ...
-TBC-
The secret of their vampire identity is still not revealed as they are too little to understand it, nevertheless such time will come … sooner than later ... Aren´t they cute? Already biting, exploring and proving all the theories.
Until the next time
