Hello my dear, readers. Welcome back to the Dragatha Universe ... it's been approximately 3 weeks since the last update and heavens ... this chapter has a lot of pages. Prepare for magical moments, bravery and great joy, though some remorse as well. Enjoy

Oh, as always, thank you all for the comments and discussion, not only here but on other social platforms as well. It is so supportive knowing that even after more than a half year and 28, now 29, chapters, there are still some people who enjoy my story and the way the Dracula family lives in this AU.

CHAPTER 29

Little Aurora shrieks once her father takes her into his strong arms and holding her tight, takes a long jump, landing on Hector. Whispering something into the horse´s ear, the black stallion starts galloping fast and the little girl, dressed into a proper princess-styled dress, even wearing a tiara in her long black hair, continues screaming for help. Her calling for salvation, or Hector´s gallop are however, not the only loud sounds in the area. Not at all. A very terrifying roar can be heard out of nothing. A black dragon! Suddenly, a fucking, real Dragon in the middle of England is flying around, and a second, a bit smaller one, joins him shortly afterwards.

- Help! Please! - Dracula has to smile in satisfaction, truly amused by the professional acting skills of his daughter who plays a kidnapped princess very well and quite proud of his own illusional creations, which slows the game for a second. All has to be processed, though Alexander, taking his role in the game very seriously, comes to senses very quickly.

- I will save you, my princess! - he calls after her, deepening his voice to sound older. - Come Minerva, we will save princess Aurora and the kingdom too! - as if called, the mare with almost golden fur kneels down, so the little 6-years old boy can mount her properly. What's more surprising, the smaller dragon joins him as well, majestically roaring, shielding the little boyar from any dangers coming from the sky. I am a dragon lord! He cheers, though doesn't show it on outside. Comfortably seated in the saddle, he alike gives an order to Agatha's horse to trot and follow Hector and his father, who plays a bad bad wizard ... the role of a villain is omnipresent, always "hunting" ancient Count Dracula.

- Save me, boyar Alexander! - Aurora calls and starts giggling ... Alexander who rides very well, given the fact that the horse is not trotting anymore but moving in a canter, is not satisfied with the behaviour of his sister.

- No giggling, Aurora. - he frowns, focusing on the path. - Take it a bit seriously. Like pappa does. -

- You meant the wizard, no? - the little girl teases him. Dracula cannot stand the childish exchange of opinions any longer and to the surprise of both his children bursts into a laugh. Exactly like my Agatha.

- Pappa! - Alexander frowns slightly outraged. - Even you?! -

- That was supposed to be a provocative laugh. - Dracula tries his best to calm down again. He promised them serious, real life-like game. - I can improve it. A sec. - and as promised, his laughter takes on more threatening tone. - You will never save princess Aurora of Transylvania, young man! Never! - Aurora cuddles to her dad and enjoys the ride fully, her attention now focusing on the dragons chasing each other, meanwhile Alexander finally smiles in satisfaction.

- You are wrong, wizard! - still with deep voice, Alexander wants to establish his dominance. Show his strength and fearlessness. - I come from a famous genus of warriors! My brave father saved my mother from you before! I will succeed too. - Dracula is really impressed and flattered as well. His kids have very high opinion of him. In their beautiful ocean-blue eyes, he is a courageous hero, famous Count, ruler of Transylvania and ... owner of a perfect, funny hotel for cute monsters ... simply, the best dad ever ... Alexander though identifies with his role of a boyar to the fullest and continues. - My sister will never be yours! - and the proud boyar directs his horse to gallop swiftly, not fearing falling down from the horseback at all. He is chasing the black horse that carries Dracula dressed in his magic black cape and giggling princess Aurora. Small wooden sword is jumping on his belt, just like the adjacent wooden shield decorated with a majestic dragon. Excitement now runs in Alexander's blood as well, so he doesn't even notice that the pace of Hector slows down. Dracula doesn't want to risk that the chase might have a harming result and anyway, they are nearing the pretended wizard´s fortress, a wooden, garden, 2-storey play house with a small balcony that now thanks to Dracula's mystical superpowers takes a look of a stone, fortified ruin that was once majestic castle. Once they reach it, Dracula together with pink-cheeked Aurora, dismount the horse and then, the wizard takes the princess into his arms again, this time imprisoning her on the balcony. Aurora yelps in surprise, but giggles shortly after and again plays her role.

- My brave boyar Alexander, save me! - Alexander dismounts his mare and nearing his father, now the cruel wizard, he draws his sword.

- Surrender to my sword, wizard. - Alexander calls bravely, his dragon roars with self-confidence, which

gives the rude magician an unambiguous sign that the brave young prince is not going to lose!

- Hahaha. - Dracula pretends an amused and rude cachinnation. - You and your little dragon threaten me, young man? - he even raises one eyebrow to give his role the aura of importance. Alexander puts on the frowning mask.

- I might be young, but I am a brave boyar. - he says in a loud voice, completely persuaded about it. - My father trained me, like his father trained him before! Bravery runs in my blood. - Now Alexander inconspicuously winks at his father and smiling shortly to reassure him, that they are still playing only a game, draws his shield, giving Dracula an unambiguous sign, that the fight is to be started. Vampire lord is visibly stunned by the vocabulary of his son, moved deeply by his words as well. Nevertheless, the game goes on, so he draws his quite small wooden sword, which looks ridiculous in his large hands and prepares himself for a duel.

- Well, if you say so, - Dracula bows (in other times, it would be a mocking gesture) and prepares to contest. - let's fight for the victory. - the fencing duel begins and at least Alexander takes it very responsibly. The little prince focuses on each step and strike. Dracula indeed introduced his children to the art of sword fight and secretly, during Agatha's absence, has been training them for 3 months. Swords are crossed. Forces are being measured. Dragons fight and crash above the heads of their respective masters. Aurora cheers, no longer portraying a sad princess in despair. Standing on the wooden balcony, she claps happily, a moment later purrs her lips into a splendid "O", because her brother gives the evil wizard hard time and the bigger dragon alike starts losing the battle against the young balaur. Dracula is slowly retreating, playing it very well, maybe enjoying it even more than his children. Definitely, he will lose. He knows that. Defeat cannot be avoided. Alexander has inherited his warlord genes... My son! Warrior! Winner! Suddenly, Alexander proceeds to the victorious step and pointing his sword swiftly at his father, now wizard, disarms him and thus ...:

- Any last words? - he asks with a victorious smile once Dracula magnificently plays a fall of defeat, landing indeed on his back, just like his dragon shrieking in aginy, falling from the sky, collapses on the grass in a loud slam.

- You really are brave like your father. - he admits and instead of smiling proudly, closes his eyes, sticks his tongue out and lying still, pretends death. Alexander grins triumphantly and together with his dragon hurries to the balcony, where Aurora cheers happily.

- You saved me, Alex! - she hugs her brother once he reaches her. - You fought so bravely and fearlessly. Perfect. You are the best prince-brother ever. - she grins and loosening the embracement, takes a look at her father.

- Pappa, the game is over. You can join us now. - Dracula keeps lying on the green grass, eyes closed, however, he opens slightly his mouth to whisper.

- I need a recovery kiss, princess. - Now Aurora hesitates a bit ... so she asks:

- Are you still the wizard? -

- No. - this reassurance is enough and the princess, followed by her boyar brother, climbs down the steep staircase of the stone fortress. Shortly after, princess Aurora kneels down and pecks her father´s cheek, stroking his shoulder gently. This works as a magic spell and the wizard turns into pappa again. Dracula opens his eyes and smiling happily, sits down.

- Are you alright, pappa? - now Alexander wonders, worried a bit. - Have I hurt you? - luckily, the proud father shakes his head and eventually stands up just like his dragon, which joins the winning one flying already among the clouds,

- I must admit, Alexander, that your blow was worthy of a warrior, but don't, worry, I am fine. -

- You think so? - the little boy is pleased. - Will I be such a strong warrior as you are one day? - Dracula nods.

- I have no doubts. - then, seeing Aurora´s impatient wiggle; she obviously waits for some praise as well; proud father addresses his sweet daughter too. - You played it majestically, Aurora. You are a magnificent princess. -

- Like mommy. - the little girl just loves Agatha's wardrobe, mostly those long dresses she occasionally wears to a theatre or opera. They definitely give a royal impression and in Aurora´s eyes, are an enough proof that Agatha is a princess. Plus, Dracula's story about him saving Agatha from a cursed fortress support strongly this persuasion. Only princesses can be saved this way, after all...

- Exactly. - the vampire lord chuckles shortly, knowing very well that Agatha never wished to be a princess and takes a look at his smart watch. One missed call. 4:30 pm. That means only one thing. - Now, let´s get back. Our lovely mommy will return soon and she will be looking for us, wondering where we are. - and if only she knew what we did, she wouldn't be very happy. Even though the twins wouldn't mind staying outside for another few hours, playing with their pappa, they nod in agreement. After all, mommy cannot find out just now what they were doing...

- Can I take Aurora with me pappa? - Alexander asks at once, adjusting the wooden sword on his belt, a gesture that should support his right to bring her to the safety of their home as well. - Since I saved her? - Aurora seems to like this idea, thus she eagerly nods.

- Oh yes, pappa, and can you make Minerva look like a unicorn? - this simply wouldn't work with black Hector. He is not cute as our golden Minerva. Aurora giggles, Alexander chuckles amused by the idea, only Dracula seems to hesitate. He touches his chin in a gesture of thorough thinking. Aurora looks at Alexander and vice versa. Each one hopes that their father would agree and make this wish come true. After all, such a heroic game deserves other magical fairy-tale settings apart from the dragons.

- Unicorn? - Dracula repeats the request, pretending a slight hesitation. Kids nod, both producing a big smile and a pleading puppy eye look, that Count Dracula can´t master the same way as his cute offspring. Mr. Balaurˈs acting skills merge to the surface again, however, skills of his twins reach much higher level. Little Balaurs hug their father, squeezing him pleadingly, thus he sighs in defeat and spreading the long, black cape on his shoulders, hiding them underneath as well, deepens his voice, adding a mysterious subtone to it:

- Close your eyes, darlings. - both instantly obey, eventually, even Dracula closes his eyes for a moment. This won´t be the first time, he already practised and the suggestion worked. It's though a habit, helping him focusing on the most important sceneries which he wants to create. In his mind, he pictures the meadows and forests surrounding their Manor and starts adding more magic to it. Minerva has suddenly a spiral horn growing from her forehead and as a little bonus, he even adds a small fairy from the good-night tales' book. He smiles satisfied.

- Eyes still closed? -

- Yes, pappa. - little Balaurs answer in a unison. Dracula is the first one to open his eyes, checking if it works, if the imagination came to life. He can breathe out. Minerva changed into a magical unicorn; the dragons are still playing with each other above and a small fairy sits at the balcony.

- Alright, open you pretty eyes. - he doesn't need to repeat it twice. Their reaction is prompt and amazed. Both jump from joy.

- Hooray! - both cheer and no longer hugging their father, Alexander and Aurora leave Dracula's arms and hurry to the beautiful unicorn, which as well as the black stallion, doesn't show a hint of fear, despite the loud, very scary roaring coming out of the giant dragon mouth.

- We have unicorn! - it seems that the magical creature has brought the most joy to Aurora... - And a fairy too! - the magical creature flies to her, landing on her palm. Delighted Aurora doesn't know what to do at first, so she just gazes once at the fairy, once at the unicorn. Alexander is not upset that the fairy has eyes just for Aurora. He has a dragon and waves to him, receiving a playful roar. In the next moment, however, Alexander turns to Aurora, who already pets Minerva, looking at her dreamily.

- Can I escort you to our palace, princess Aurora? - he asks politely, truly the son of his father. Aurora bows a bit and nods.

- It will be my pleasure. Thank you, my dear saviour. - both chuckle and give a look to their father.

- Ready to go, pappa? -

- Yes. We would better hurry to greet mommy already inside and prepare the picnic basket together. -

The work days have never seemed so long as nowadays. Not eight years ago. Back then, when she was alone in this world, her days spent in work passed quickly, sometimes, she worked several days in a row and hadn't even realised that, but now? Every unnecessary hour spent at Carfax Clinics is annoying. She became wife and most importantly a mother. With the start of the first real school year many things have changed. A month after the twins attended their first class, the entire Balaur family moved to London, as the travel there and back to their country Manor became too overwhelming. Learning and homework after returning from school took a time and kids, exhausted from the school day, finally agreed on leaving their beloved wolves and Manor at least for the school days and live in a three-storey family house, just a street away from their school. Today is, however, a Friday and three of the four Balaurs are already back at their home, enjoying all of its luxuries and beauties. Just Agatha is late, which became unusual as the Fridays are her work-off days. Nevertheless, emergency call is an emergency call and even though Agatha hesitated to go, cute Aurora was very supportive and considerate when she said:

- Go, mommy. Save lives. - she smiled innocently when they stood in the corridor of their London House, preparing to leave to the countryside. - I am proud of you, not angry. Don't worry, we will wait for you. - Alexander nodded and gave her a "see-you-later" kiss. His actions were repeated by Dracula and of course Aurora as well, so instead of one car, two cars left the Balaur London residence, each driving the opposite way... Now, finally arriving home, Agatha smiles and sighs in relief. The sun is still shining high on the sky and this spring afternoon doesn't seem to end that soon. Parking the car behind the Manor, she finally enters the impressive building.

- I am at home, darlings. - she announces, expecting a quick response, excited shouting and hurrying steps of at least two pairs of legs. Nothing. All is quiet and at first Agatha scowls in dissatisfaction, inspecting the surroundings, nevertheless, a moment later, she lays her eyes on the floor, where usually the outdoor shoes rest and seeing nothing, calms down. Agatha, Agatha. It's a beautiful day, sun is shining, wolves are for hundred percent running through the meadows and forests and your kids and husband, surely gladly joined them ... there's no way, they would have willingly spent such an amazing Friday afternoon inside. Finally, the vampiress breaths out in relief and hurries to the master bedroom. A moment later, already changed in more appropriate outdoor clothes; she leaves the house in a search for her family. All she needs to do, is following her ears. The surrounding areas are after all never quiet. It doesn't take a long to catch a first glimpse of the whereabouts of her twins and her husband. Their cheerful laughing can be heard more and more with each and every quick vampire step she takes. Agatha is close, she knows and in a second, she spots her beloved ones, who are not alone. Agatha stops abruptly, the smile on her lips immediately freezes, her jaw drops in a shock. Her 6-years old kids are proudly sitting on a horse, which gallops quickly and as it seems, Alexander is in charge, bridle in his small hands. Agatha's still heart stops at once. Her babies might be in a danger. What if Minerva suddenly stops or a wolf scares her and they fall from her, hurting themselves and Vlad? ... how could he allow that? She can see him after all. As it seems her kids are chasing her husband, playing a game and all are enjoying it to the fullest, not thinking about any dangers.

- Alexander?! Aurora?! - she finally finds her voice and stepping from behind the trees, calls the names of her children. Two little vampire angels are too immersed in the game though. - Alex! Aurora! - she tries louder, finally managing to catch their attention.

- Mommy! - once they hear her voice, Alex stops the golden mare and simply pulling the bridle towards himself, navigates his unicorn Minerva towards his beloved mother. - You are back! - Aurora exclaims happily as well, not noticing the distress on her face. - Look! Minerva is a unicorn. And I have a fairy sitting on my left shoulder. - she waves her with one hand, holding his brother just with one arm. All the colour from Agatha's face disappears as she already sees a hurtful fall or another disaster and since she is not affected by Dracula's suggestion, she can see only a horse and her two children. Dracula is not that oblivious to the meaning of Agatha's facial expression. His mind is flooded immediately with worries because he can predict her possible reaction quite well. He knew exactly that she wouldn't be excited at all and definitely would disagree with the idea of their kids riding on a horse. That's why he did his best to keep it secret and now hurried to the stable with the little ones, so they would have enough time to greet Agatha at home ... she will kill me ... well, he receives a deadly stare, though tries to return it with an innocent smile.

- Hello, love. - he greets her immediately, dismounting Hector swiftly. - You are finally at home. -

- Yes. - she mutters coldly, making the Count swallow empty. Trouble. Big one. It doesn't take Sherlock to realise that. - I was looking for you. -

- And you have found us, my love. - he takes carefully her hand into his, kissing it gently (expecting partially a slap, though hoping that the presence of their children would eliminate this threat). - We are all safe and happy. Right, darlings? - the best way to avoid a quarrel is forwarding her attention to her innocent little loves.

- Oh yes! - Aurora eagerly nods, just like her brave brother, who would like to play anew the entire game as soon as possible.

- And even better when you are here, mommy. Now we can play together. -

- Look, mommy. - Aurora cheers, pointing her finger at the horn which only the twins and their dad can see. - Doesn't she look magical? Both? Minerva and Fairy too? -

- Ehm, yes. - only now she remembers the previous jolly exclamation about the unicorn and suspects correctly, that Dracula is responsible for that. - Now, pappa, - she looks at him warningly. - will help you get down. Both of you, alright? - this proposal doesn't meet with agreement. That is more than certain.

- Why? - Alexander asks. - I am boyar and Aurora is a princess. All boyars ride a horse and have a princess to save from dangerous wizards. - he muses and looks at his father, who grins sheepishly, gazing at Agatha ... already hoping for a forgiveness.

- Alex and his dragon saved me today from a fortified fortress and we escaped then on unicorn Minerva. It was marvellous. All thanks to pappa and his magical coat. -

- A dragon? - Agatha repeats. - A wizard? - both nod, smiling widely.

- I have an idea! - Aurora suddenly exclaims. - You can be a princess too now that pappa no longer plays the wizard. - this idea seems to impress Alexander too, even inspiring a wonderful plan...

- We can make a nice ride together and stop at home to prepare the picnic basket. -

- Amazing idea! - Aurora agrees, supporting her older brother and eagerly looks at her father, strongly believing to find the same eagerness in his eyes. - Pappa? - instead of words, Count Dracula charmingly bows and as a true gentleman, offers his hand to his wife and politely asks:

- My Countess, will you do me the honour and join me on this little ride? - Agatha honestly doesn't know what to do. Definitely, she doesn't want to disappoint her children and spoil their game, though she doesn't want them to ride alone. She would much prefer if they just walked.

- Ehm ... I´d rather... walk. I am not fond of riding. -

- Oh honey, but you know how to straddle the mightiest stallion int the world. - Dracula winks at his wife, unwisely, because instead of blushing and returning to the bedchambers (she peeks there shortly, sure), Agatha gives him prompt, ugly stare. Do you really think itś a good time for you to joke? So inappropriately? In front of our innocent babies? Her eyes seem to add.

- Do you, mommy? - Alexander promptly asks, not giving Agatha a chance to answer, his jaw drops in a surprise that his mom never joined them before even though, according to pappa´s words, she is very skilled. - Who is it? Pegasus? - an ancient Greek mythical story immediately pops up in his mind. Even Aurora provides her guess:

- I would say Hector, because pappa´s horse must be the best ... and then our Minerva, of course. - logical approach and deduction hit closer home... Dracula grins mysteriously and crossing his lips with his index finger, hints that it is secret. Instead, he addresses his Agatha again with an unrefusable question:

- So, will you do me the honour, my lady, of escorting you to the palace. Would you accept my knightly offer? -though sooner than she produces a complete sentence, she finds herself in Dracula's arms, being carried to the black stallion, patiently waiting for his master.

- Dracula ... - she whispers warningly, though the named one just smiles and kisses her gently on the protesting lips.

- You can be mad at me later, my love. Even punish me. - in the next moment, Dracula seats his anxious wife on the horseback and promptly joins her. Twins cheer, giggling in satisfaction.

- Let's return to the Castle Dracula. Victorious Feast awaits us. - Dracula proclaims with heroic voice, keeping the atmosphere of victory to the last moments. - Boyar Alexander, lead the way. -

- As you command, Count Dracula. - the boy takes the lead and securely grasping the rein, directs magical unicorn Minerva to slowly canter forward. Countess Dracula has basically no choice and has to endure the ride, even though the most difficult part is watching her children next to her. Distraction luckily comes quickly as both children start chattering and vividly describing what they did with their pappa, how they spent the afternoon meanwhile she had to work and how much they wished, she could have played with them as well, adding that they are enormously happy she is joining them at least now ...

-/-

It doesn't surprise Dracula at all that once he hands them the tasty looking sandwiches; which Aurora together with Agatha prepared, meanwhile he and Alexander took care of the horses in the stable; both children share them with their wolves. Luna sitting majestically in the middle already snacks on the rich portion of meat and her grown up pups surrounding her are enjoying their spa day, as Aurora calls it. Balaur twins with pet brushes in the hands rid the wolves of old fur almost every weekend and even though these tamed beasts were at first shocked and cautious, now they honestly appreciate such a care, the most, when they are rewarded for their excellent behaviour by a tasty treat. Dracula thus leaves his not so little angels and turning around, returns to the picnic blanket where his wife sits and watches not only the kids. Once she lays her eyes on Dracula again, her smile disappears and is replaced by a frown. Guilty husband sighs, though keeps the happy façade on his face. As if nothing happens, he joins his wife and instead of sitting directly on the ground next to her, he quickly lies down, resting his head in Agatha's lap. Angry wife fails to notice the sudden position of her husband at first, though once she fully realizes what he had done again, she questioningly raises her eyebrow:

- What do you think you are doing, Vlad? - she asks, obviously disapproving. Count Dracula though produces the gentlest smile ever and reaching for one of her hands, places a sweet kiss on to her palm.

- Enjoying the best moments to the fullest? - he answers and places her hand over his heart. - Beautiful day, isn't it? - Agatha shakes her hand, at first wanting to get rid of his body partially occupying hers, then changing her mind, because the little ones are every now and then eyeing them and happily waving. They don't need to be a part of argument.

- It was until the moment you left our children riding an adult horse. Unattended. - even now goosebumps cover her body when she thinks of all the dangers that could have happened. - Do you even realise how risky it was?! What all could have happened?! - she whispers furiously.

- At first, they were not unattended. I supervised them all the time. - Dracula defends himself immediately, though calmly, unlike Agatha who has really hard time not to raise her voice. - And second, they are naturals with animals. When I was their age, I already had my own horse. - Agatha just rolls her eyes, really doubting his words.

- Being six, you had an adult horse? Don't be ridiculous. Pony at best. - this seems more probable, but given the era when he was actually a small child, anything is possible. After all, at similar age he was taken a hostage and held as a noble prisoner by Ottomans for several years.

- My love, our children are not ordinary kids. Just look at them, they are playing with wolves...do you want to tell me, that their classmates play with real, adult wolves? No, yet you have no issues with this hobby of theirs. Dangerous as well ... - Agatha can clearly see the logics of Dracula's words, which angers her as well, though counter arguments are written all over her face which Dracula notices sooner than she has the chance to voice them. - And don't tell me it's different because it is not. You saw yourself how naturally Alexander rides, how well Minerva listens to his orders which are not always voiced, yet understood. And Aurora's fascination with the unicorn is so cute and heart-warming ... -

- That's another thing I wanted to talk with you. You are experimenting with mind suggestion on our children ... -

- First things first, love. - he rather stops her. - Let me finish. Aurora is as much talented as Alexander, has the same abilities and let's say superpowers as our son and I am always there with them. The horses would never do anything to harm them. - still not persuaded, Agatha moves her hand from Dracula's chest instead crossing them on her breasts. Dracula just sighs and rolls his eyes. - Heavens Agatha, they carried themselves proudly on the backs of their wolves throughout the entire Manor when they were 4 years old and you didn't blink an eye! - he was the one worrying and disapproving then. - And do believe me, wolves are much more dangerous than horses, much more unpredictable and wilder. And what do you think, who made Lesana and Ares so calm and tamed? - he raises his eyebrows in conviction. - Their special vampire traits, my dear. Our children are the most perfect beings, the peak of the human race, so unique, born vampires, victory of the Nature, thus Nature listens to them. - quite valid arguments, truth be told ... and the pride that shines upon his face.

- But ... uhm ... - lost at words, Agatha just slaps the hand of her husband in defeat, what makes Dracula smile victoriously.

- I know, Agatha, that you don't like horses ever since your childhood, I understand why but don't transfer your trauma to Aurora and Alex. Let them enjoy their hobbies. - rolling her eyes, she just sighs. Her husband is correct ... partially ... and she doesn't like it.

- How long are they riding alone already? - the question is not answered directly, Dracula just smiles sheepishly and rather sits down, which can mean only one thing and that is: longer than she would think.

- Since they started attending pre-school. - Agatha's eyes widen from shock.

- Already a year?! - she looks at her babies that are giggling anew, happily cuddling with wolves, narrating them some stories as it seems. Dracula only nods.

- Yes. And never did they have an accident. -

- But why didn't they tell me? I don't want them keeping anything secret from me, Dracula! - again that unfamiliarly sounding title she uses only when she is angry at him. It's ear-tearing, icy, sharp.

- They wanted to surprise you. - the worst is still not over ...

- When? - she simply doesn't believe it. Her innocent babies would always share everything or at least hint something ... though they could keep secret her last birthday surprise...

- On our wedding anniversary. June 25th. -

- What? Why? - she doesn't understand and really suspects Dracula of lying, in order to soothe her. Wedding anniversary became a huge celebration in the family, is always special, celebrated in Carcassonne with Chatelier family who became good friends of them.

- You know how they love the drama classes after school? - he chuckles, remembering the Christmas school performance of Dickens´ Christmas Carrol, where both starred. - Well, they wanted to stage ... ehm ... fairy tale version of our love story. We have been practicing today ... and enjoying the game ... love. - Agatha's jaw drops in utter disbelief. She has no doubts regarding the acting talents of Alexander or Aurora. They are really skilled not only in all the classes they have and the after-class hobbies alike. She always suspected, basically knew, that one of the reasons is their vampire nature ...

- Really? - the more she thinks about it, the more probable it seems. Well, Alexander and Aurora always prepare something unique, meaningful for each of her special days.

- Yes. - nevertheless, he humbly admits: - Of course, the original idea was to teach them horse riding, though they wanted to use their skills to make you happy and proud. -

- I knew that! - shaking her head, she eventually confesses: - I am proud of them. -

- No doubt, love. -

- But I am still their mother and always will worry. - now, Dracula uses his chance again and takes her soothingly into his arms. Agatha softens the tone of her voice. - Is there anything else you three keep secret out of some doubtful reasons? -

- No. - however, there is one thing that Count wanted to discuss and as it seems now might be really the best time to talk about it. - Even though, twins asked me to persuade you to enrol them into the fencing classes. Starting the next school year. - it rarely happens that Agatha Balaur née Van Helsing is lost at words two times a day. Her numbness is luckily only short-timed and disagreement is promptly presented.

- We are not living in the Middle Ages. -

- Agreed, though sport fencing is a leisure activity of the aristocrats even nowadays and our kids, well belong to this class and are lucky to have the best warlord willing to practice with them and train them after the professional trainings in their school. Following all safety guidelines of course. -

- Vlad. - it is not that horrible idea, but still she believes, it's too early.

- Please. - puppy eyes expression improved significantly. He was taught by the best, as it seems. - Allow me to be the best father they could wish for. -

- You are already that. - and much more.

- Thank you, my dear. - the reassurance warms his heart; thus he pecks her cheek. - But still, please. They are kids only once and well, you know that deep inside I am still that proud, courageous warlord and ruler who enchanted you and won your curious heart and mind alike. You and I are their idols, they want to be so clever and caring as you are and so strong and courageous as I am as well. - pleading eyes, pleading voice. Deadly combination. Purring! You sneaky wolf! You know what works best on me!

- You really have the gift of speech, Vlad. - he is nearing the victory.

- And that's one of the many reasons you love me? - though he doesn't get the exact approval, because the private talk is interrupted by their children who decided to join their parents for a while, he feels that he reached his goal.

- Don't you think, Vlad, that you will get out of it so easily. You are still in a big trouble. - she remarks, though quickly turns her attention to the jolly children that joined them anew...

-/-

- You know, mom, my best friend Victoria is a real princess, just like I am, her pappa will be the King one day and rule England just like pappa ruled Transylvania. - Aurora continues in her narration about the unicorns and their importance in her life. - She loves unicorns as well, however, she never saw one, because her pappa doesn't have superpowers like mine does. - gifting her pappa with a sweet smile, she adds a bit drama. - Victoria wishes to see one and you know, sit on its back but her older sister Charlotte said, they are not real. -

- She is wrong. - Alexander interrupts. He has his own theory and it is more than logical. - They all live in Scotland. Everyone knows that. - he has learned that from his mommy once she bathed him and his sister and told them stories of Scotland's mythical creatures. Lochness monster is his favourite ...

- And in our stable. - Aurora giggles and taking the cup, sips the warm tea. - I would like to show her our unicorn Minerva, mommy. What do you say? - to Agatha's relief, such a thing is almost impossible. Both adult Balaurs know that the little royal princess wouldn't be allowed to visit her friend from school ... sadly, though luckily at the same time.

- Well, if her parents allow her to come ... - Agatha is sure they won't, even if they would maybe like to, strict protocols and security measures prohibit that ... Dracula on the other hand has no doubts that he could arrange it somehow ... maybe using his special skills ... anything to make his little girl happy. - still you would have to keep it secret. You and Victoria as well. - this, however, is enough for Aurora. She cheers immediately, already planning such a visit, thinking of showing her best friend all the things she told her about. Victoria will be happy as well. I can't wait to tell her about it. Alexander though shrugs his shoulders and thinking aloud presents his idea for the royal visit:

- I would rather show her my boyar skills and introduce her to Hector. - the stallion is very impressive in his eyes, although Alexander likes the mare so far more. Nevertheless, the coal black horse suits better the valiant Prince of Wallachia. Aurora chuckles and reveals a big secret.

- Alexander likes Victoria a lot. - she says, giving her brother an incriminating look. Alexander frowns, quickly trying to deny it.

- I don't. - the blush in his cheeks proves though otherwise. Truth be told, he really likes the youngest princess that became the best friend of his sister already last year, in the prestigious pre-school.

- Yes, you do. - teasing from Aurora's side continues, so Alexander counterattacks and shares his observations ... incriminating as well ...

- And you have your eyes just for her brother. - well, Aurora carelessly rolls her eyes and looking at her mother, encircles one arm around Agatha's neck.

- Mommy knows that. - she says proudly ...

- But pappa doesn't. - the exchange of opinions is hilarious and both adults want to laugh, though know it would be highly inappropriate as their children take this quite seriously.

- Now I know, darlings and I approve your choice of ... ehm ... friends. - in his mortal times, it would be the best choice of future partners for his noble children ... and quite ideal time for unofficial engagements, however now, it is just innocent, harmless childhood first love and his babies will never be political figures for alliances, as it was quite normal back then.

- See, Alex? There is nothing wrong with liking Victoria or Louis, in my case. -

- But I don't like her. - he keeps insisting, blushing even more, frowning like his father when he was mocked by Agatha some 133 years ago.

- Even if I said she likes you back? - Alexander narrows his eyes, not quite sure if his sister is just making fun out of him or telling the actual truth ... though such a serious topic would be best to discuss in the privacy of their still shared bedroom. Here though Agatha steps in.

- Kids, enough of the quarrel. - She doesn't want to risk a real fight, knowing that they both inherited the teasing traits from their father ... and from her too. - Or we will have to cancel the movie night tomorrow. -

- No, mommy. - both immediately stop the fight, now facing even more serious issue. - We want to see the new Hotel Transylvania. -

- Mommy is right, as always. - Dracula supports his wife ... with intention to earn her forgiveness easier. - If you behave, we will watch it together and ... - dramatically teasing paise comes that gets the attention of the siblings immediately.

- What? - Agatha copies the look of their children, though with small worries what will he think off. Hopefully, he won´t tell them I agreed with the fencing classes! This topic is not closed yet!

- A giant bowl of my famous Papanași. - immediately, Aurora and Alexander look at each other, thinking quickly and as if reading each other's minds, decide to seal the peace by a hug.

- See, pappa? - Alexander is the first to speak, though Aurora quickly adds with an innocent smile.

- We don't argue anymore. -

- We will see. - Count chuckles and looking at his wife, changes the topic of discussion. - But do tell me darlings, didn't mommy look majestic in the saddle? -

- She did! -

- But next time, mommy, you can dress like me and be a princess too, hm? - the little girl will make sure both look majestic. Definitely, if Agatha styles her hair into locks. - We will make it special. -

- Yes, though the rest is secret. - immediately, Alexander imitates locking movement, sealing his lips and shortly after opens much more innocent and less revealing topic.

- Do you want to hear what we learned today in school? - Agatha of course nods, starting an avalanche of words and new stories ...

Lights are already off. The twin's bedroom is completely silent, apart from the beautiful 2-hearts symphony. Agatha's lips widen into a lovely smile as she watches two sleeping figures from the doorframe. Standing there, with a soft smile, she hesitates. Should she step in or return to the bedroom? It's past 9pm and although she is not tired at all, her children need complete silence to rest fully. She also suspects that once she would sit on the edge of either of the beds just to caress them and wish them silently sweet dreams, she wouldn't be able to leave. Agatha just sighs, surrendering to her motherly love quite easily. Her steps are directed towards Aurora at first, who as usually, sleeps in the strangest position ever, surprisingly laying on her tummy and holding the tip of Luna´s tail. Agatha didn't notice the she-wolf, who spends with the Balaurs more and more time as she ages. She is resting as well, lifting one eyelid only to take a quick look at the intruder and finding out, it's only Agatha, closes it and returns to the realm of dreams. Reaching the little princess of Transylvania, Agatha bends and kisses her little girl on the temples. Aurora just huffs in satisfaction, snuggling more to her bunny. Agatha thus moves further and carefully stepping over Luna, who has chosen her place of rest exactly in between the beds, reaches the courageous boyar, prince Alexander Dragomir ... as Dracula loves to title him and his sister fair princess Aurora Catalina alike. No wonder then that our darlings have strong aristocratic feelings ... though luckily, Vlad emphasizes the need to take care not only of their lands but their folk as well ... Agatha though pushes the thoughts of the way her husband took care of his lands (keeping on her mind that he protected them well during his life-time) and focuses instead on her son. Caressing his shoulder, she kisses him on the cheek.

- Mommy? - the little boy whispers almost inaudibly, shuffling under his bedcovers as he partially wakes up. Agatha feels a bit guilty to wake him up this way, nevertheless quickly answers.

- Yes, my little love? - Alexander smiles, his mind still sleepy a lot. - Did I wake you up from a beautiful dream? - Alexander only shakes his hand.

- No, mommy. - he barely remembers what the dream was about, but he is sure that the afternoon game was much better. - Can I ask you something? - he mumbles and Agatha only nods. - Is pappa in a really big trouble? -Aurora is the more sensitive one, no doubt; however, concern of Alexander regarding their father is cute as well. Agatha caresses his soft hair.

- Nothing you need to worry about, Alexander. - that's relieving, no doubt. The little boy breathes out, nevertheless adds:

- Because, you know, mommy, pappa wanted to make our dreams come true. -

- I know that. -

- And he shouldn't be guilty. - he shrugs, huffing and turning around, entangling his arm from underneath the blanket, he strokes Agatha's arm. - Aurora and I are to be blamed. Hm? -

- You are certainly not, Alexander. Don't say that. - it would never occur to her mind that he would perceive it this way ... neither did she realise, that he might have heard her say those words to Dracula. - Pappa is a big boy and knows what is correct and what is wrong. -

- We pleaded him. With big puppy eyes and sweet voice. - dangerous weapon towards which, Count Dracula is simply helpless. - Pappa always surrenders. -

- Really? - Agatha knows that very well. Alexander, taking it very seriously, sighs with worries.

- You won´t ban him playing with us, will you? - oh, he heard terrible stories from some of his schoolmates who already faced such issues ...

- Of course not, my love. Why would I? - Agatha furrows and sits down on the edge of the bed.

- Charlie's mom did that. -

- Oh, Alexander. - guilt creeps to her mind and face alike. - I love your pappa very much with all my heart and I love you and Aurora even more. There is nothing that could separate the 4 of us or make me ban your pappa to lark with you. - and she explains why in a soft, tender and reassuring tone of voice. - Adults have sometimes different opinions, but that doesn't mean they don't love each other. Pappa is my prince and I am his princess, darling. And the fairy-tale saying: "they lived happily for ever after" is true in our case. -

- Really? -

- Of course. -

- I always thought so. - proofs of Agatha's words are after all omnipresent. Each and every day. Though, sensing insecurities of his friends can cause doubts in a little heart if always-present smile changes to an occasional, rare frown. Before closing the conversation completely, Transylvanian prince adds his reassurance as well: - Mommy, I am a good boyar. You don't have to worry about me. Minerva and I are good friends. She listens. -

- Does she? - it's decided. In this case, her husband and children won...

- She is perfect. Hector too. - and the most important question follows: - Will you allow us to play the fairy tales game again? -

- I will. -

- And fencing? - Agatha has to smile ... her little boy is using this discreet situation to his advantage, just like his pappa, trying his luck ... - Did pappa ask you, right? - he covers his mouth immediately, a bit afraid that he revealed too much, spoiling the plan of his pappa to persuade mommy about the correctness and need of such a free time activity. To Alexander relief, Agatha keeps smiling. Her eyes radiating with warmth and love.

- We are discussing it, Alex. - a kiss on forehead can mean only one thing at this time. No more words, just sleep. - Now, don't trouble yourself with anything and sleep. -

- Alright, mommy. Love you. -

- Love you more. - both chuckle silently and Agatha's heart jumps form joy even more, when Alexander encircles her neck with his arms, hugging her closely and pecks her cheek.

- Good night. - he whispers at least, and then the strength of the hug weakens. Agatha gently covers her son again and quietly, cautiously as not to wake any occupant of the bedroom, leaves them to dreams. Closing the door, she keeps smiling. How sweet of him. Always "fighting" for pappa. Loyal boyar, indeed. My Prince and Princess ... and now, the guilty Count is probably waiting for me and for the forgiveness ...

She finds the Master bedroom empty and dark and at first thinks that Dracula took a walk to ventilate his head. Such walks are very rare and according to Agatha's opinion, wouldn't be quite adequate at this very moment. Dracula has no reason to be frustrated, quite the contrary, it's her who would have right for it... though my frustration was a bit irrational as well ... he was right, I overreacted ... Luckily, almost immediately Agatha senses the presence of her husband as the attractive fragrance of his body is brought to her by a gentle breeze. The French windows leading to the private patio are ajar and with every step, Agatha can reveal more and more. Finally, she spots a few candles, which are lit and as it seems, a glass of fresh blood awaits her too. What a romantic setting ... Agatha has to smile as the gesture of simplicity is moving. Breathing out, she takes the few steps separating her from the outside sofa, where her husband seems to contemplate. Definitely, he hasn't spot her yet, what is unusual. Agatha uses this moment of invisibility and leans on the doorframe, just looking at him ... a bit dreamily, sinking into the details of his handsome face covered in the moonlight. So far, she hasn't had many chances to catch him unguarded in the realm of deep thoughts, in the middle of a contemplation and she must admit, it's cute.

- Are you waiting for me, Vlad? - being silent is too hard suddenly. Therefore, she finds her voice, taking him by surprise ... Dracula's head turns around swiftly ...

- Agatha ... - deep thoughts, especially those trying to form a plan for this evening that would win him a complete forgiveness slowly fade away as the main subject of his contemplation appears in front of him... - I won't beg for forgiveness ... probably ... though do say what do you want me to do. - it's not begging, though has all the signs of a plead. - Maybe you can bond me in the torture cellar? Or hunt me? I wouldn't mind one or two regular arrows in between my scapulas if that would bring you joy or ... - suddenly many ideas crawl into his mind, but Agatha will hear none of them. She likes this easy, calm atmosphere of an evening under the stairs suddenly more...

- Vlad ... - she interrupts him and leaves the doorframe, finally stepping outside.

- Hm? - big chocolate puppy eyes wait for the verdict, though Agatha only sighs in a complete surrender, that he cannot quite decipher ... - Any wishes of yours are mine to fulfil. - the vampiress´ face is beautified by a smile. How much he changed ... my dear ... honestly, she half expected him to wait for her completely naked on the bed ... to make all better ... please her physically ... but this ... especially today is better ... it shows how much he has emotionally grown up.

- I like the candles here and appreciate your expert choice of dinner for me ... -

- But? - even though, Agatha basically forgave Dracula his unwise deeds, he is still uneasy.

- No buts, my dear husband. - quite the contrary. - You have great, loyal beadsmen in our children. Do you know that? - hearing such words, Count feels a huge relief. That can mean only one thing and that is, Agatha's forgiveness.

- My little vampire angels? - always being there for him. Best gifts ever. - Oh yes. -

- You are lucky to have them, because they always know how to save your sexy ass. - one sweet smile, one genuine puppy eye look and she is defenceless.

- Am I forgiven? - daring question ... Agatha partially nods, though points out at the comfy couch before answering.

- If you make me a bit of space on the sofa, so I can join you ... I might give it a thought ... -

- Come here, love. - he frees more than enough space for her so she can sit comfortably and therefore has his arms quickly full of his wife. Once, Agatha cuddles to him, all the tension is gone.

- Do you know that our little boy wanted to take all the guilt on himself? - she starts after a few silent moments. Actually, this doesn't surprise Dracula that much. Alexander is an honest and fair boy, a lot like Agatha, considering the needs and well-being of others, especially his family.

- My brave boyar. - he says proudly, however adds quickly. - Though innocent. -

- I know that. - of course, she knows and thus it worries her a bit. Agatha sighs and to focus on something else than a guilt, she strokes Dracula's fully covered chest. - He caught the words of you being in a big trouble and wanted to make sure I won't forbid you playing with him and Aurora, like mother of his friend from school did. -

- Ouch. - he is surprised that Alex didn't share these worries, though realises that he had no reason to start applying problems of his classmate on their perfectly functioning family ... until now ... even if that fear was and is unreasonable.

- Yes. - she sighs and ... delivers the final word. - So, to make all the worries disappear, I decided to approve the fencing classes and the horse riding as well, adding that I love you and them and would never keep the three of you apart. - my sweet angel, isn't she? Count places a sweet kiss on Agatha's forehead.

- Have I told you today how much I love you? - he asks, satisfied and snuggles Countess to himself even closer ... if that is even possible.

- I am not sure if you had enough time to do so ... but you showed me definitely how much you do... - two chocolate pralines are no more an impermeable curtain for her and she can read the meaning of his glances very well.

- Alright then. - Dracula chuckles and kissing her on the top of her fragrant hair, whispers: - I love you, Agatha. -

- I love you too, Vlad. - to prove her words, Agatha hugs her husband and resting her head comfortably on his shoulder, glances at the full-moon totally blissed. And we are not even naked ... Dracula is on the verge of happiness. He enjoys being Agatha's pillow, when she hides her face into his neck and he can enjoy the sweet fragrance of her hair. And her body against his ... perfect relax. And it can be even better ... definitely overloaded with cuteness, when their two children cling to them as well ...

- So, what do you say, Agatha? - silence is broken after a few minutes, because Count's mind returns back to the sleeping beauty and the brave boyar. - Will the Dracula dynasty take over the English throne? - Dracula returns to Aurora´s secrets unexpectedly. Agatha, comfortably lying on his chest, lazily raises her head so she can face him and burying her chin into the top of his sternum, raises one eyebrow. Dracula's face has quite a serious expression and that makes the urge to laugh even stronger.

- She likes Louis. Not George. - she chuckles, playfully slapping his chest. Taking his chin between his thumb and index finger, Dracula creates a grimace worthy of a philosopher.

- That might change. - he points out wisely, however, Agatha narrows her yes. She knows that whatever he implies is a joking, though ... old habits are old habits.

- Vlad? -

- I mean the preference. Not ... elimination. - then he casually shrugs his shoulders, musing further. - Maybe she hasn't seen the older brother yet and having my little girl as a Queen ... hmm ... I would restore the glory of the Empire for her. - winking at Agatha earns him in return only amused smirk, though he keeps the dreamy look, musing even more. - And I was thinking about France or Germany for Alex. He would be a great leader one day. Being his father´s son, mighty warrior with sharp mind. - Europe is divided as it seems and great plans for their future completed. - Or we two could keep France? Maybe just Carcassonne? -

- Once a ruler, always a ruler. - she bits her lower lip and shakes her head. - No royal lives or politics for our children, honey, neither for us. - he tries the look of sadness, neither the less, he quite enjoys the quiet life, devoted only to Agatha and their children. No need to change that ...

- If you say so. - he pecks her quickly. - Though this summer, you can let the crowd cheer for us again ... if we are selected the Count and Countess of Carcassonne again, what do you say? -

- I am sure, you would handle it by yourself, even adding dragons to your show, honey. - eyebrows are raised. - You have been practising, after all, on our children. - this time, overly self-confident smirk is replaced by a sheepish smile.

- They loved it and that's all that matters, isn't it? - not waiting for counterarguments, that surely would come, he rather continues with a silenced, more seductive voice. - But I wouldn't mind if you practiced your mind influencing skills on me, quite the contrary ... -

- How nice of you, Vlad. - Agatha purrs, leaving Dracula breathless.

- Is it? - Countess nods and frees the first 2 buttons from the soft fabric of Dracula's shirt and slowly spreading those two halves of the shirt apart, Agatha gently brushes the soft skin with her nails. Leaning over, she places a gentle kiss on the uncovered chest and smiles.

- Another time, my dear. Let's enjoy a regular, fluffy evening. - She feels the momentary tremble of her husband under her lips and the silent groan he produces, widens her smile even more. Dracula tightens the embracement, his left arm now caressing Agatha's shoulders, the right one resting on her lower back. He agrees silently. It's been some time since they enjoyed calm evening, spent in the arms of each other, just cuddling ... Another button leaves the small hole in the white shirt and is quickly followed by an affectionate kiss.

- I have been thinking, recently. - the man in love speaks, knowing that if he stayed silent, his thoughts would remain unspoken ...

- Only recently? - Agatha teases him and raising her head, pecks his Addam´s apple. Dracula raises one eyebrow, though smiles and specifies, even though he knows that the beauty in his arms is just teasing him.

- About a particular thing. - that sounds interesting. Now, he definitely has her full attention. The vampiress caresses his chest, which quite weakens his resolution to speak out rather than kiss her senselessly.

- And what was the realisation? - she smiles, persuading herself again what an effect she has on her lovely husband. Dracula shrugs a bit and with sigh unleashes his tongue ...

- That the best thing that could happen to me, apart from meeting you and having our babies, was the 123 years long sleep. - such thoughts and especially the time setting when such views occurred to his mind surprise her a bit. Agatha frowns a bit, not quite understanding, so he quickly continues. - When I walked to the shore, I felt so victorious and thrilled. - I reached me wished destination ... - New beginning, new blood, new adventures ... what a joke it was that I was captured so easily ... by a woman that looked like you, by an agency named after one of my last victims ... - it amused him at first, though the smile was quickly gone, the more when he realised... : - the hardest part was though seeing you there, yet knowing it's not you and feeling a strange pain of remorse that it was my doing that took you away from me ... - though he supressed such feelings very quickly, really not that keen to waste more time with those self-confident mortals ... - and then the glass coffin ... - he chuckles suddenly, amused by the resemblance with one of the good-night stories. - Aurora would say I was like a Snow White in a deep slumber, from which you, my brave prince, saved me by a gentle true love kiss. - the little girl would definitely point out that she likes her mommy more in princess dresses and Alexander would agree that the role of prince is fit for his courageous father. - And honestly, - he moves his right hand from her back, pointing again his index finger on those two little scars, - this is an unmistakeable proof of love, Agatha ... your vampire kiss. - Agatha starts to giggle and repeating Dracula's actions, caresses those punctures.

- Count Dracula masters the art of ... fairy tales. - chuckling, she unites her lips with his and snuggles to his neck. - You know each and every character from the fairy-tale world. Expert level. - and that's one of the other little things which she loves about him. - No wonder, you are titled the best dad ever. - Dracula's facial expression softens again, chuckle is contagious.

- Have a giant mug as a proof, Agatha. No jokes. - eyebrow raised, lips purred, he really pictures the look of utter importance.

- Hm. - Agatha can see the moment when he received the mug so clearly. When his children gifted him the piece of ceramics, they made by themselves, he was really the proudest man alive

- But when I woke up in your home and realised that you are really you ... - nostalgic smile crawls back to his cheeks. - The first days were strange ... the world changed so much in those 123 years, something incomparable to any other eras. And there, you ruled as a Queen ... master of your own life. So independent, so successful, so brilliant, so damn sexy. At that moment I realised that you don't need me at all and at the same time I knew, that I wouldn't be able to live without you. This realisation made me agree on your conditions, made me change my way of life, gifted me with you and our twins. - sometimes he still cannot believe that his life is real and not only a mere dream. - I know that without those 123 years apart, 123 years of non-existing, you wouldn't love me the way you do, maybe killing me shortly after the arrival ... - definitely, he already stood at the start line of an adventure called love at that time ... Agatha found her way to his heart ... though with the way he behaved and his plans for the future full of innocent blood being shed, he would stand no chance in the eyes of his caring wife ... even though, she began to feel something more than just a plain attraction ... silence fills the garden patio for a moment.

- Vlad, my dear, don't trouble yourself with what might have happened if ... I did that many times and it was always useless. - she would call herself a master of overthinking sometimes ... well definitely in her lonely past when all she was surrounded by was emptiness that only her thoughts could have filled. - Only the reality is important and ours is full of love and joy, sometimes self-sacrifice and restriction, but definitely worthy of the result. -

- And that's what I wanted to say to you Agatha: - the subject is slowly being closed. Count moves his hand up and cupping Agatha's cheek, smiles at her happily, radiating with love. - You are my Goddess, who changed my life completely and I am grateful that you haven't given it up with me, because you are right, I can be a pain in the ass sometimes... - the last remark makes Agatha snorts, though she smiles widely and looking into his eyes, which lack each hint of anger or cruelty they once were full of, has hard time not to start shedding tears of happiness. Cuddling to her husband, she cuddles to him closely and caresses his cheek.

- But only sometimes, my love. - she rather kisses him, though feels her eyes moisture. Her husband can surprise her and bring her to tears ... never though in a negative way ... not anymore...

I hope you don't mind the absence of intimacy, intercourse here ... but I though that a bit of family time was needed as well as a little parenting disagreement between our favourite duo. Also, I love Dracula's time with kiddos, though I feel we need more Agatha and twins interactions ... I promise, next chapters will contain more mommy-children time as well. The next few chapters will take place in Transylvania ... Until the next time
