The next day

Kaden, Isabel and Oliver were watching a movie while playing with Emery on the living room floor and Kaden could see from the corner of his eye, his dad seating on the couch speaking on the phone but his eyes were on Emery and him every now and then. He saw his mother walk out of the bedroom fixing her suit.

"You look good. Stop fidgeting." Kaden said.

"It barely fits." Penelope said irritated.

"Yea cause you're pregnant with twins." Kaden said amused.

Penelope rolled her eyes and picked up her purse and laptop suitcase. "Are you sure you're okay staying with the kids?"

"Yes I'm okay." Kaden smiled.

"You sure? Cause you should be out with people your age and getting into trouble and…" she started saying.

"Mom!"

Her eyes widened and smiled. "Did you…?"

Kaden chuckled. "Yes I called you mom. And please relax. I like spending time with my sisters and brother. Plus dad is here so we'll order in."

Penelope smiled and shook her head in amusement. She walked up to them and she motioned for him to get up. "Ven acá. I want to give you a kiss and if I bend I probably won't get back up."

Kaden laughed and got up holding Emery. Penelope kissed Emery first and then Kaden on the forehead and hugged him. "Ven acá y dame un beso." She told Oliver and he got up and gave her a kiss. Then Isabel went to hug her mother and gave her a kiss as well. "I love you guys."

"Have fun tonight."

"I'll try." Penelope gave them one last kiss and walked away.

And yea she ignored Alvez on purpose.

Three days later

Alvez woke up later than usual and headed to the kitchen to pour strong coffee to see if he could wake up. He looked around and the house was completely silent. He went to the back of the house and walked out to the deck. Sure enough there they were. Kaden was flirting with a girl and Penelope was seating on the sand playing with Emery, Oliver and Isabel were playing ball with one of Oliver friends who lived next door. He made his way down the stairs and towards them.

Penelope laughed when Emery put her hand on her face and got sand all over it. "Emy don't that's gross." She kissed her daughter and wiped her face. "Ahí ya estás limpiesita mi amor!"

"Good morning." Alvez said and sat next to her.

Penelope looked at him. "Rough night?"

"You can say that." He said and caressed Emery's arm. He sighed. "I had an argument with Alice last night."

"I'm sorry to hear that." She said and looked at him. "You look like shit."

"Yea well it's not the first time it's happened since I got here."

"You want to talk about it?" she asked.

"No, that would be awkward and weird but thanks for trying."

She looked at him and then at the water. "Can you hold Emy while I get wet?"

He looked at her in shocked. "What?"

"I want to get in the water. Can you watch her for a second?" she asked but didn't wait for him to answer so she gave him her daughter. "She might be getting a cold and I don't want her near the water until I know for sure she's not sick."

Alvez held Emery awkwardly not knowing what to do with her but then looked at Penelope and groaned. She looked amazing. She was wearing a bikini proudly showing her small baby bump and she looked sexy as hell. The bump was barely there but he was comparing it to the last time he saw her in a bikini and the difference was obvious. He appreciated her body for a few minutes while she made her way to the water. Damn she was so sexy and he definitely shouldn't be having those kinds of thoughts. Damn.

He looked at Emery and smiled. As he held her he couldn't help but fall in love with her. He caressed Emery's hair and kissed her forehead. It's like he was back to his 18-year-old self and holding what should have been Kaden back then.

"Dad you okay?" Kaden asked as he walked up to them.

Alvez looked at his son and smiled. "Yea."

"Are you ever going to get over that? It was 18 years ago."

Alvez sighed. "Kaden it's not that simple."

Kaden snorted. "Wow do you know how stupid you sound right now? You sound like a pussy. I mean come on."

"That was mean and unnecessary," Alvez glared.

"But true. You need to get over this, break up with that bitch and be with mom."

"Kaden…"

"No dad seriously you could be a father to Oliver, Isabel, Emery and the twins. I know that's what you want or would like."

"How the hell would that even work? She hates me and she drives me crazy. Don't forget the fact that I can't stand her crazy ass."

"You love that ass." Kaden smirked.

"That's just wrong son." Alvez chuckled.

"You love each other and ugh why the fuck am I the grownup in this crazy family." Kaden said frustrated.

"Don't curse like that in front of your sister."

Kaden rolled his eyes and walked away to join his lady friend that he had been talking to before.

Alvez was annoyed that his own son saw everything so differently and so easily. He needed to leave as soon as possible because he knew that with no trouble he could fall into this role of being a father to Oliver, Isabel, Emery, the twins and be Penelope's man. He looked straight ahead and saw Penelope walk back towards them.

"Was she good?" she asked and picked Emery up and gave her a kiss.

Alvez nodded as he looked at Penelope's wet body and licked his lips. So fucking sexy.

"Luke…" She said sternly.

He looked at her eyes and whispered. "You look really, really fucking sexy." He said as he rested the palm of his hand on her stomach and made her gasp.

"Luke stop. We can't go this route again." She said irritated.

"Why not?" he asked and got up so he could be closer to her.

"We're going to end up arguing again." She admitted.

He sighed and leaned in to kiss behind her ear. "I have to leave." He whispered.

She moaned and nodded. "I think that's best. You have no idea how horny I am because of this dang pregnancy."

He groaned and looked in her eyes while he caressed her back and down to her ass and she gasped. "You have no idea how much I want to lick your pussy right now." He said softly only she could hear him.

Her eyes widened. "That's so inappropriate," she said.

"I know. That's why I have to leave." He admitted. "Or it'll get worse."

She nodded and licked her lips. "Good idea."

"I have to go." He repeated like an idiot and leaned in to kiss Emery on the cheek. "Kaden," he called out to his son. "Oliver? Isabel?"

Kaden jugged towards his family. "What's up?"

"I'm leaving tonight." Alvez said.

Kaden sighed in annoyance. "You're running away."

"I'll be back next month since you won't go to NYC to see me." Alvez glared.

"Yep." Kaden said stubbornly.

Alvez pulled Kaden for a hug, then Oliver, then Isabel and then started to walk away. "I'm going to pack."

"I'll see you off. Watch the kids." Penelope said to Kaden as she also walked towards the house holding Emery.

While Alvez packed his things, Penelope cooked an early dinner. Emery sat on the high chair snacking on baby food. Penelope turned on the radio and as soon as she heard music she started to dance lightly while she cooked.

Alvez walked out of the guest bedroom and went to put the bag by the entrance door, headed to the kitchen and groaned loudly. "Dammit Penelope, can't you put some clothes on?"

She turned around startled. "I was going to take a shower but I wanted to make an early dinner so you could eat before you left."

"I wouldn't mind eating you." He said as he walked towards her.

"Don't say…"

Her eyes widened when he closed the space between them and kissed her hard on the lips. She moaned into his mouth and kissed him back as passionately and as sexually as she could. She felt his hands move down her ass and squeezed. She moaned louder and gasped feeling his erection against her. He humped her for a little bit enjoying the amazing sensation. "Bye Alvez," she smiled, picked up Emery and went to her master bedroom.

They really had an extremely weird relationship with a crazy amount of sexual tension. One minute they are biting their heads off and the next they are acting like horny people.

Four weeks later

Kaden was making out with his now girlfriend when his cell phone rang. He growled and answered. "What?"

"Hello to you too."

"Sorry dad. I'm in the middle of something."

"Is it a girl?"

"Yes if you must know."

"Are you being safe son?"

"Jeez dad what do you want?"

"How's your mother doing?"

"She's fine. She's getting fat."

"Yea she's pregnant dummy."

"Anyway what do you want dad? I'd like to get back to what I was doing."

He chuckled. "Okay son. Tell your mother to call me. We have to talk."

"Is it about me?"

"Not just about you."

"Are you going to pick a fight?"

"Son just tell your mother to call me and to stop ignoring my calls."

"Fine. Bye dad."

Kaden walked out of his room and headed towards the office where his mother was working on her laptop. "Yo mom?"

"What's up? Is it Emy?" she asked without a beat.

"No. Dad called and he told me to tell you to stop ignoring his calls and to call him now." Kaden said.

Penelope rolled her eyes. "He's such a child."

"You both are." Kaden smirked.

Penelope glared at him and he shrugged his shoulders. "Is there anything else?"

"Nope." He said and crossed his arms. "Call him."

She sighed and dialed his number. "What?"

"I was thinking about moving down there."

"What?!" she asked her heart beating faster.

"You heard me."

"No you're not." She said and pressed the speaker button. "You're on speaker. Kaden is here with me."

"It's better if I move down there." He repeated.

"Seriously?" Kaden asked in awe and excitement.

"Alvez what the heck are you talking about?" Penelope asked in disbelief.

"I hate having to fly every month down to Florida to see Kaden."

"Dad what about your career? You have an awesome job. And I hate to say this but what about Alice?"

"Yea Alvez you can't just give that all up just because you barely see your son."

"Yea well if you hadn't kept him from me we wouldn't be having this conversation."

"Dammit Dad!" Kaden said chastising.

Alvez sighed. "I'm sorry."

Penelope was upset so she didn't say anything else.

"Dad I'll go to New York this time okay?" Kaden said while caressing Penelope's back knowing she was hurt once again.

"Are you sure? This wasn't why I wanted to move there. It's no guilt trip. I swear."

"Yea right," Penelope mumbled.

"Mom stop." Kaden glared at his mother and then sighed. "No guilt trip dad. I'll go to New York."

"We'll be fine without him for a few days." She said coldly.

"Penelope I'm sor…"

"Is there anything else?" she asked avoiding him.

"I'll text you when I buy you the plane ticket." Alvez said.

"Okay dad see you soon."

"Bye son."

Kaden wanted his mother to say goodbye but when she didn't, he ended the call.

"He's such an asshole." She whispered.

"An asshole you are crazy about." Kaden said amused and walked away with a stunned look on Penelope's face.
