"Gaignun!"
The voice was familiar enough; Rubedo had returned. How strange, Gaignun thought. Unless he knew. Gaignun slowly begins to sit up, now realizing what had happened. Clearly he had passed out, no doubt due to Albedo's overwhelming presence, however now he held coordinates to a rendezvous point somewhere in a sector of space not too far from where they were now. Albedo had imprinted them directly into his mind, as though inviting him to join him there. Gaignun had trouble believing this wasn't a trap, but he remained hopeful. Not only that, Albedo had sent him a memory, one just as vivid as the one that preceded him opening the link in the first place. It was strange, seeing things through Albedo's mind, yet the imagery was forever seared into his memories. Before he could revisit the thoughts, he turned to slowly look at Jr., whose face was riddled with worry.
"Are you alright?" The redheaded URTV asked, his voice faintly panicked.
"I am okay, for now. I don't know what happened." A lie, but not bad enough to be noticed. "I'll be better soon. Try not to worry too much."
"How the hell'm I not supposed to worry? We don't just pass out for no damn reason! If something's affecting you, I suggest you take your butt down to get some diagnostics run. Maybe we can fix what happened?" Jr. was rather stern about sending him to have tests run, and Gaignun had no real choice but to agree.
"Afterwards, I would like to clear my head. I'm not sure what happened, but I need some space to think about things. This isn't normal, you're right, but I don't think getting readings on my programming is going to do much. The moment has passed." He looked at Jr. with his own adamant expression, and Jr. could do nothing to object. For a moment, Gaignun could see the fear in his eyes. Of course. He thinks I'll leave again. Gaignun made an attempt to give Jr. a comforting look, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to go far. I'll keep connected to you too, that way you'll know that I'm safe. Does that work for you, Rubedo?" His voice became softer, his gaze intently locked with Jr.'s. With reluctance, Jr. nodded, sighing before standing up and taking Gaignun's hand with him. After standing with some help, Gaignun headed towards the door, Jr. in tow. There was a brief silence between them until they reached the point where they'd part ways. "Why did you come back to my room?" Gaignun asked, stopping for a moment but not looking at his brother. Jr. rubbed the back of his neck, almost embarrassed.
"I felt something coming from you. I was curious and I wasn't too far when it -and your presence- mysteriously vanished for a second. I was worried so I..."
Gaignun offered Jr. a small smile. "Well, I appreciate it. Thank you for waking me. I felt... trapped, somehow. It was your voice that pulled me out of that place."
"D'ya think it was-"
"No. I know it wasn't. It's long gone, the song wasn't present either. I assure you I'm just fine." Gaignun knew all too well the source of his brother's worries. Still, he'd think both of them would become aware if U-DO had affected him through some wayward link from perhaps a faintly conscious URTV, or through the man with the white hair. Those bright purple eyes haunted him, the first thing he had seen before he lost consciousness. As they split up, Gaignun wondered if Jr. had really felt the link between himself and Albedo, and was perhaps worried about that infecting him, and, more importantly, why he had done it in the first place. To try and link with Albedo after being directly told that their brother was involved with an organization that opposed them. Come find me, Albedo's whisper echoed in his mind. You're curious, aren't you? I know you want to see me anyway...
Gaignun couldn't help but feel pitiful. He was desperate to see his brother, from the day they were separated until now, embarrassing as it was. He knew it was just a childish hope of his own design, wanting to believe this wasn't a trap ad that he would be able to see his brother once again. It was all he could think of as the Realian he'd met with began running a diagnostic on his overall systems and functions. He wondered if she could sense his repetitive thoughts, if she could see the images Albedo left with him. Warm, terrifying mages, a process of memories and emotions that made him cringe.
"Well Master Gaignun, it looks like all systems are green. I can't find even a lapse in the data from when you passed out. It was as if you went down because of some relation to your emotions, perhaps? Maybe something drastically changing enough to affect your consciousness. Have you received any-"
"No." His response was simple, and it quieted the blue haired girl instantly. She finished up the tests in silence and disconnected from him.
"We're all done. Please be safe on your travels, Master Gaignun." The Realian smiled at him, and he nodded in return.
"Thank you, Sascha." Gaignun offered the girl his own soft smile before exiting the laboratory and heading towards the hangar. He boarded his own small vessel, one just large enough to make the small jump into Hyperspace. As he readied the systems, Gaignun could not help but revisit the snippets of imagery stuck in his head. It was initially thought to be a memory, yet he knew he did not entirely do as he saw. Perhaps then these were the delusions of an infected mind mixing reality with fantasy.
Albedo could hardly believe he had asked the spy, the snitch, to stay with him. Maybe it was just the comfort he sought; Rubedo didn't seem to rouse from the erratic thoughts he sent through the link, which devastated him even more. Was his twin ignoring him? Was he afraid? Albedo buried his face into Nigredo's chest, arms wrapped around him until they laid down. He tried to sleep. Both of them had. Yet he couldn't; U-DO was too strong, the thoughts in his mind hectic and unfocused, pushing slightly unwelcome ideas into his frantic mind and making his heart pound uncomfortably in his chest.
Gaignun gasped softly, Albedo's own thoughts becoming his own. The scene seemed to skip forward a little bit, this time delving more into fantasy than reality.
There were breaks in these feelings; Albedo slowly drifting in and out of a dreamless sleep. Between these spaces, these lapses of thought, Albedo felt... warm. He felt desire. He wanted to feel it amplify. He wanted something he'd never really wanted before. His hands slid from Nigredo's back to his sides, pushing his shirt up slowly. Don't be afraid. Isn't this something you want to experience? The calming voice had a point; maybe not with his own brother, but Albedo was growing despite his inability to die from at least violent means. He had urges he couldn't satiate by himself; touching himself never felt good enough.
Gaignun felt his heart thump loudly in his chest. He could feel the blood rushing through him, warming his face, his chest, and lower still. He took off then, not wanting to linger for too long in his ship. He didn't want to attract unwelcome company, after all. After sending himself into regular space, Gaignun set a course for the strange coordinates Albedo had left him. Upon entering Hyperspace, the "memory" forced its way back into his thoughts.
He wondered if Nigredo would report this to their father. He wondered if he'd let father see just how deplorable they both were. The thought made him giggle. Nigredo shivered beneath his fingertips... Albedo could feel his heart beat while his hands traveled up to his chest. "Do you want me, Nigredo?" His voice was soft, tinged with the madness he felt. Nigredo's soft nod in response made his body warmer still. Albedo was beginning to want it too, not caring for his distrust for the little brother.
The thoughts skipped forward.
Albedo's mouth was on Nigredo's throat.
Again.
Nigredo felt so good when he finally moved, rolling on top of Albedo and moving his hips in a way that made the warmth overtake him. "Mmm, yes... Show me what you've been thinking about this whole time..."
Another.
Now Nigredo was touching him, their mouths connected, tongues pressed up against one another. Albedo loved the taste of Nigredo's depravity. He rocked his hips up into Nigredo's hand...
Again, but this time he was overwhelmed, his breathing heavy.
Nigredo was inside him now, pinning his arms above his head, Albedo's legs up over Nigredo's thighs. Albedo enjoyed the sound of Nigredo's soft moans, the look in those bright teal-green eyes. Albedo felt amazing, the ache from the initial entry now a thing of the past. He loved the way Nigredo knew where it felt really good, delving deep inside of him. The mental link between them was wide open; Albedo could feel what Nigredo felt, and he was hungry for more. He could feel Nigredo building up, could feel that release coming closer and closer. "Don't stop," Albedo whispered, though it was more like a command. "Don't stop u-uhn-until I'm finished-" Albedo's voice faded into a whine, a sick smile on his face.
Gaignun couldn't handle the next break; he remembered Albedo muttering under his breath in between bouts of near sleep when they spent the night together, but he didn't think it was-
"N-Nigredo," Albedo crooned, arching his back and pushing his hips up frantically. Being taken and touched at the same time made that feeling of release so impossibly good; he wondered if the poor brother with attachment issues would be this good, would make him feel so deliciously satisfied. But then, Albedo knew where Nigredo had gotten this experience. He felt no remorse for that URTV he'd associated with, not using the same one more than once until... Albedo's stomach was a mess of himself, and shortly so was he inside, Nigredo's stuttered moans signalling the coming and going of his orgasm. He rode it out until both of them were an overstimulated mess...
Gaignun wanted to scream, wanted to touch himself, wanted to get his hands on his brother, to make that dream come true-
Albedo woke a panting mess, touching Nigredo's chest...
He remembered that part.
"Nigredo..." He mumbled, brimming with curiosity and arousal.
"What is it Albedo?" Nigredo muttered back, sounding half asleep. Albedo could not make his request, knowing the brother he detested would undoubtedly reject the notion. He would deny those feelings, that's why he'd refrained from doing anything other than holding him. Albedo found it so very funny, so very confusing. He wanted Nigredo, but he hated him.
"Would you..."
Albedo's mind blanks then, and he stays this way for...
Nigredo's in front of him now. How very silly his face is! He looks so worried, so scared. The sickness of his own mind sends hin into a laughing fit, falling back on his butt as he loses balance. He wonders if Nigredo still remembers that moment, the one that felt real, too real, made him feel so loved. He could feel the sickness receeding as Nigredo spoke his words.
"I'm waiting, Albedo,"... Albedo hated that. He wanted Nigredo to tell him the truth. He wanted to hear Nigredo say he wanted to stay. He wanted Nigredo to stay.
"Help me," Albedo used the infection now, making himself seem normal again.
"How?"
"Come with me." He would like that, leaving Rubedo all alone, the one who betrayed him, who hurt him, infected him. He could feel Nigredo's grip on his hand tighten. The wordless response broke him. "Please."
Again Nigredo was silent.
"You won't..." Albedo hated it. He hated them for being cowardly. Didn't Nigredo know he'd keep him safe from the others? He wouldn't let his precious brother die. Even if he was what he was. "You can't help me..."
...
This Gaignun remembered. His heart was still beating out of his chest, his eyes now focused on the walls of orange and black mixing together and defining lines to make a fluidlike tunnel surrounding them. As the light at the end of the tunnel neared, Gaignun could not help but feel that anxious pounding in his chest overthrow the feeling of lust that overtook him? Why did Albedo bring him here? And why did he show him the dream?
"You really came, Nigredo?" A voice sounded in his ship from an open channel he didn't remember allowing. The image fizzled before him, clearing up to show him the visage of his older brother. His heart felt like it had stopped then, the complete opposite of before. "How trusting you are." There was a grin there on Albedo's lips, one too wide to be normal. Sane. "And you saw it, I take it?" Albedo's eyes were wide with excitement. "Do you want your answers, little brother?" Albedo barely contained the laughter bubbling up from his chest. "Come here and I will tell you." The image disappeared as Albedo disconnected, freeing up the corner of his vision to reveal Albedo's considerably larger ship opening up its belly to welcome him in. Nigredo hesitated, slowing his breathing and staring up at the beast. Now was the time to escape if he wanted to. Now was the time to become a coward again, just like before, just like Rubedo. Despite these feelings towards him though, Gaignun still loved Jr., though it took some time to return again. Gaignun didn't want to leave the other just yet, not like he was allowed to in the first place.
Albedo's voice sounded over the link. "Are you going to pass up this opportunity to give your masters crucial information? Afraid of me still?" This time his laughter was not contained. "Relax, Nigredo, I need you alive just as much as he does. Who else will be my messenger?"
Still a moment of reluctance kept him frozen there, deciding what he'd do. Albedo made a good point; Gaignun would be a fool to reject an offer to get information they all could use. But that wasn't the information that propelled him forward, not entirely. He wanted an explanation. And he wanted-
"Fine."
