Ghouls school, dream holder pt 12, chapter 12 The pursuit
The ghouls girls had all made their way down stairs now, ready to investigate whatever it was that been making the Noise Sibella had heard somewhere within the school.
" really, who or what could it be ? I honestly don't anyone who would be dumb enough to break into a school of ghouls, " winnie said as she followed along with the others down one of the halls,
" again, I'm not sure, but you can never be to careful, but it's always okay to assume that it can be simply nothing, . " seibella responded
" well I'm not sure how to respond to that if it's true,, after all. I was sleeping very peacefully, " winnie said in a slight annoyed tone,
" really winnie, I never know you cared so much about your beauty sleep." sibella teased a little,
winnie growled a bit. " I'm just saying, if anyone is down here, I'll make sure they'll be very sorry for intruding on the ghoul school in the middle of the night "
" just try and contain yourself, we can't go around simply attacking nightly intruders on sight, and that's even if there is any, " sibella stated,
" yeah, what if it's a Human ? we could also end up giving them a big scare anyway if they saw us." Phantasma said with a whisper and slight chuckle.
" well, I can only wonder how one could have gotten in here..this place is us,like really hard to get into and stuff,, it's not like they could walk through the front door." winnie said,
" uuh..you may want to think twice about the statement " Elsa now said pointing at the door,, noticing it was open ajar..
everyone slowly turned their heads towards winnie, with disapproving looks
" why are you all looking a me ?! " she said perplexed
" wasn't it your duty to lock up the doors down here tonight ? " sibella
" uuuh...well um...you'll have to get back to me on that,..." she said sheepishly
sibella crossed her arms and sighed..
" well..how would they get cross the moat anyway ? " winnie tried to defend herself..
" shh, hold on girls I hear something, " phantasma interrupted,
" oh what ? " winnie said
" just listen, its coming from down there, " she said pointing down a hall,
" hmm I hear it too, sounds like...someone is shuffling around with stuff..." Esla said placing her hand on her ear,
winnie listened out for the sound as well, " it's coming from...the potion's room...someone is in there and it sounds like they are breaking stuff, " she said,
" the chemistry room ? we should hurry and check it out now ! " Elsa said sounding a little urgent.
everyone wasted no time and quickly made there way over to where the potion's room was, once they finally reached the door to the room, the could Immediately hear the sounds of banging and broken glass emitting from inside,
" alright, someone is definitely there, and it sounds like they are trashing it in there,.." winnie said,
" well who's ever in there , we are going to find out what they are doing. " sibella said, as she then grabbed the door handle, everyone watched on with anticipation, specially Elsa who looked the most worried,, sibella took a deep breath started to turn the handle., she the pushed the door open all the way, allowing for all of them to see inside,
inside the room, they could see what looked like the result something very chaotic,...the room looked a mess, table knocked over, glass beakers smashed on the ground, some leaking colourful liquids...
" what ?! what happened here ?! " sibella said sounding a little shocked but also trying to be calm,
" No ! how can this be ! " Elsa said falling to her knees looking in despair " who would do such a thing..why would anyone want to destroy a place of science and wonder ! " she wailed out as she placed her hands on her face " so many mixters and ingredients tarnished !
" uh, well, some of the potions are also Magic based as well " Phanty said placing a hand on her as if to cheer her up with that. though that did very little to help.
everyone just looked at her with slightly muddled looks, Just then they heard something from within the room, they immediately all took a stance and looked around.
Elsa jumping up from the ground and growling...looking ready to strike the perpetrator with full force..
but then,they all saw a small figure step out from behind a turned over table,..as soon as they saw who it was they all stopped there defenses stances..and looked surprised...
"Matches !? " they all said in unison.
matches was seen with the bucket still covering his head..he desperately tried to remove it..grunting and growling as he did..
sibella went to over him and knelt down. " hold still matches, " she said as she pulled it of his head. matches looking a bit dazed as he did,
" ooh my..who would do that to poor matches, ! " Phantamsa said.
sibella looked down at him, " matches what were you doing with a bucket on your head ? "
matches looked up as her and growled..then began grunting and muttering as if to be explaining himself,..though all the others could not quite catch what he was saying...
" um...I'm sorry dear..but your not making sense..? " sibella said,
matched slapped himself in the face and tugged on her dress, pointing at the door, he then quickly ran off,
" I think he want's us to follow him, " sibella said,
" great, this is getting weirder and weirder ? " winnie said,
come on girls...something is definitely going on here now " she said as she headed out the door...as everyone followed..

Matches was walked along the hall, sniffing on the ground seeming to be following a trail of scent, as the ghoul girls followed..
" what could this dragon be up too ? " winnie asked...
" I don't know..but it's pretty interesting " phantasma responded,.
" yeah,,but what if it's really serious " winnie then asked now seeming a bit concerned
" well it caused a good amount of science and study to be wrecked.., to me..that is serious, " Elsa said sound a bit bitter...
phantasm and winnie just exchanged slightly unsure look,
" let's just keep following matches alright girls. " sibella said..
in the library
wilbie had the book in his hands and had it opened..His eyes darting back and forth..appearing to be reading the pages. matches fluttering above him him, eyes staring down onto the as well allowing the Revolta and creeper to see the pages themselves.
" how much longer revolta..this could take all night it looks " creeper said sounding impatient
" quiet creeper...it'll be in there somewhere..., " rebolta said looking down into the boiling cauldron as wilbie looked through the book, " and once the spell binding the book's magic to the school is broken, we can finally have it brought to us, "
" this is kinda cutting it close, cause I got a bad feeling about this, I mean, this whole plan has actually gone a lot smoother than I had thought it would, call it luck if you ask me.."
" silence creeper..this plan is working well, and it will stay that way..." revolta scowled." after all, we have the book...it's practically ours now, "
creeper bit one of his tentacles while looking a bit concerned...
wilbe continued to looked though the book, turning page after page, he did this until he finally came across a page that revolta ordered him to stop at...
revolta grinned evilly as she stared at the page..." this is it..this is the spell to help us remove the...well spell on the book, " she said cupping, her hands..
creeper just watched on..as revolta order wilbie to read the spell out loud...
wilbie stared down at the book, eyeing up the words that were written down on it,
" Spell of magic be gone, back to which ye Belong,
let the energy fall, breaking down the barrier wall,
let it be free you must ensure, let it flow true and pure.."
once wilbie spoke that last sentence...something immediately began to take place,
the book began to shake a little in his grasp..and soon a bright yellow aura around it
began to glow, much like when ever the book is first opened,, except this time... it began to expand..and soon a bright yellow flash shot out from all around the book and completely outstretched from the school and out as far to the stone walls surrounding the school,
soon it looked as though a large glowing sphere was surrounding the school...
it stayed there a moment until it then started to slowly look as though it was melting away from the top, soon it was fading away faster and faster until it was no longer there..,..
" what was that ! " phantasma said looking around confusingly
" Yeah that..was really bright.." winnie added
sibella looked around a bit worried. They all had just seen the bright yellow light phase through them all, and expand out...though none of them were sure what they just saw...
" I have a feeling that was not...good.." Elsa said looking a bit a bit unnerved..
matches however looked up and growled as he began to make his way over towards the direction of the library..
...
" It worked...the spell has worked ! " revolta sounding shouting victoriously, " Now the book's magic is free to becasue used anywhere in the world..! "
" that's great to hear revolta..I never doubted it wouldn't work " creeper said crossing to hos his tentacles and nodding,
" now all we have to do is get the boy to bring us the book, and then..we'll have it..all the power to do what we want, " she laughed to herself, she the began to speak into her wand again, " alright boy...bring the book to revolta " she commanded
wilbie was about to head on out from her orders, when suddenly a voice called out..
" wilbie !? "
revolta suddenly felt her blood get cold..." no..don't tell me " she said as she had wilbie turn over to see who it was...and there standing on the entrance of the library where the ghoul girls, all whom had shocked expressions.
Pysch quickly flew up to the celling and hiding in the shadows remaining hidden.
" wilbie..is that you !?...what are you doing here !? " sibella said sounding both alarmed and confused..
suddenly matches made his way in growling and snarling at him,..looking as though he was about to attack him, but sibella grabbed his tail halting him,
" hold it matches, that's wilbie ! " she said, trying to keep him from attacking,
" wilbie..what are you doing here ? " sibella said, she then notice the Dream Holder Book in his hands. " and, what are you doing with that book ? "
wilbie didn't answer as he just looked down at the book,then at the girls,
" hey wilbie..what's wrong..answer us ? " winnie said looking just as confused as the others...
revolta and creeper just watched, revolta rubbing her chin, while creeper was slapping his face with a tentacle,
" ooooh great, those little grimwood brats are here ,..now what are we gonna do, " creeper said sounding worried,
revolta continued to think for a moment..." I will not let this stop me...we must get that book now.." revolta grabbed her wand..." the boy is still able too, "
" what how..they'll never let him leave with the book " creeper said,
revolta smiled evilly then spoke into her wand, " Bring me the Book. " she simply ordered,
wilbie's eyes narrowed then he nodded..all the ghoul girls looked at one another the back at him.
Psych then quickly darted over and passed the ghouls without being noticed as they all had their attention wilbie.
" wilbie...please explain what is going on here,..." sibella said...
wilbie then took a stance like he was about to fight..but all the girls just stared at him with still confused expressions, mathes let out a slight growl when suddenly wilbie started running at the girls with full force...
all the girls looked shocked, to much to react..and before they could, wilbie lunged forward and scored into air and over the girls heads, tucking and rolling into the hallway.. all while still holding the book in his hand...he then stood up and took off at an incredible speed down the hall,
all the ghoul girls just stood there with blank expressions on their faces...
" what...just happened.." Elsa asked sounding a little dumbfounded..
" come on..we need to catch him and see just what's going on here " sibell said transforming into a bat..she then flew down the hall with the others following,, including matches who was starting to be able to steam up again..

wilbie crept down the hall, he placed himself against a wall making sure the coast was clear from anyone else..he gripped the book tightly and looked around, he was about to head off, when suddenly phantasma phased through the wall next to him with her bottom half still in it,
" wilbie, wait a second, tell us what you are doing, " she asked.
wilbie looked a bit surprised by her sudden appearance and quickly jumped away ,and took off running down the hall some more,
" wilbie wait ! " she called after him,
wilbie ignored this and continued to run down the hall, looking back to see her being joined by Elsa and winnie, he cocked his head and then looked forward to see sibella suddenly appear in front of him from her bat form,
" hold it right there,! " she shouted attempting to stop him,
wilbie however, didn't slow down, instead he just get running towards her, even gaining speed.
sibella's eyes widened as she watched him approach her at quick speeds,
just when it looked like he was about to run right into her, he quickly took a hard turn to the left and ran right up the wall and quickly jumped off it right over her,
sibella ducked a little as he did that, she then turned around to see him as he continued to make his way down the hall,
" wow..he's..a lot more agile then I would have thought ? she said scratching her head.
soon the others ran right by her, Elsa stopping for a moment,
" come on sibella, he's heading towards the foyer, " she said running along again,...
...
back up stairs Tanis was still waiting for the girls to return, she could hear a lot of commotion going on down there now, and she was begging to wonder what was happening,
" I hope the girls are okay, " she said placing a finger on her chin,
" tanis, whatever is going on out here ? "
she hear a voice speak out to her, she turned around to see miss grimwood in a nightgown and rubbing her sleepy eyes,
while her floating magic Glove was holding a lit candle next to her
" I was awoken to a lot of noise coming from downstairs, mind explaining what that is ? " she said crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow,
" oh, um well, it's " tanis rubbed her arm..not sure what to say..she herself had no idea what was going on either
" well..the girls heard something downstairs,and went to go check it out fearing it could be an intruder...but they have not come back yet sense doing so,..but with all the noise going on down there right now, something does seem to be going on miss grimwood, " she said with a sweet smile..one that seemed forced...
" what ? and intruder in the school specially at this time ? now how can that be. ?" she said rather confusingly, " I'm going to go and check this out, " she said making her way past Tanis and down the stairwell, Tanis looked around before deciding to follow her.
back down stairs wilbie was running along the final hall that led to the foyer, to which he would then be able to get out of there and bring the book to revolta, but as he was running the ghoul girls were catching up close behind him, he then looked ahead an notice a bunch of armored knight suits standing up against the wall, all who were holding large axes,
wilbie grinned as he quickly ran up to on and kicked it hard with foot, he immediately began running again as the suit of armor fell onto it's side and crashes into another, causing that one to hit another and another and another,, just as the ghouls were running by, the axes that the suits of armor were holding started falling along as well, nearly slicing down onto them as the passed by,
the girls fortunately managed to avoid getting hit by any of them as they did,
" Is he actually trying to harm us or something ? " winnie said a little shocked and annoyed,
" I don't know...but something's seriously not right, " sibella answered.
as they continued to pursuit wilbie, he finally made his way into the foyer, where he stopped running for a moment and looked around, he saw the door just ahead, he smiled evilly,
he was outta here, but first he needed get across that moat quickly. he looked over and saw the bridge crank to the side of the Door,
he grinned again and quickly ran over to it, gaining full speed again, he lunged into the and kicked the chains on the crank hard enough to loosen them, and soon he crank started spinning and lowering the bridge down fast, soon it crashed down allowing him to be able to cross the moat easily,
Pysch quickly darted out at a fast pace ahead of the boy and landed on a dead tree branch waiting for the human boy to fallow out too.
" wilbie ! " he heard the ghoul girls shouting,
psych quickly zipped behind the tree and peeked out as he saw the ghoul girls running outside as well in pursuit of him still
wilbie ran across the yard and looked back to see them, he began running faster, and looked ahead, he then saw the large stone wall ahead, he narrowed his eyes he made his way over to the large wall and leaped up and gripped one of the vines he used to climb in, the ghoul girls stopped when they saw him climbing the wall,
" He's going to get away ! " phantasma yelled,
" not if I have anything to do about it, " winnie said suddenly running all fours , gaining quick speeds, she darted across the yard and over to the large stone wall were wilbie was climbing up,
winnie jumped up and grabbed ahold of the vines and started climbing up after him,
" get back down here now wilbie, ! " she demanded as she climbed up faster,
wilbie looked down to see the werewolf gaining up on him he was about to start climbing up faster when his when winnie snagged his leg with one of her paws...
" got ya ! " she growled " now just hold on a moment and explain yourself ! " she ordered..
wilbie attempted to struggle away free..but then notice that his strength was reverting back to it's natural state.,,the potion was wearing off..he struggled to shake his leg free from her...
" your not leaving before you tell us what's going on ! " she said again.
revolta watched on as the boy struggled. She looked annoyed and rolled her eyes,
" we have no time for this foolishness.! " she growled,," loose that brat now ! " she barked into her wand...
wilbie glared down and winnie and nodded..he then lifted his free leg and aimed it above winnie and stared down at her with a serious and harsh look,
winnie looked up and saw what wilbie was doing...and immediately caught on.." you wouldn't dare ! " she said..
wilbie then smirked as he papered himself to do so...
" wait hold on ! " winnie yelled..but before she could do anything wilbie foot came smacking down onto winnies head, the blow causing her to let go and fell back and land down hard onto the ground...
wilbie smirked as he then started climbing the rest of the way up quickly, he reached the ledges and pulled himself over looking down at the daze werewolf. he grinned and began climbing down the opposite end...
" he made it out of that school, and he'll be on his way to the meeting point, we've done it ! " revolta cheered herself..
" great job..never doubted you once. " creeper said smirking..
revolta whacked him on the head with her wand, " we must be getting ready now, he'll be on his way to the Barren Bog..we'll meet up with him there..he should have no obstacles that'll stop him from getting there at this point...
" but isn't the Bog a dangerous place ? " creeper asked,
" yes it is...but I don't care what happens to him once he's there..we just need him to get the book out we'll retrieve it ," she said while grinning,
she then walked over to a wooden table that had two broom sticks on it, she picked one up and chuckled.."come and fly creeper..our time is has come to do so ,! " she shouted as she walked over to a large broken hole in her wall, she chuckled to herself as she place the broom between her legs..and leaped into the air and soon was flying off into the night sky..." to the Barren Bog ! " she shouted as her silhouette soared across the moon,
" right behind you revolta ! " creeper said as he held his broom with many of his tentacles, he laughed as he jumped into the air attempting to take off but tripped over one of his own tentacles and tumbled out the window and plummeted towered the ground before he righted himself andtook and following close behind Revolta...

winnie groaned placing her hand on her head,," oh, ow, you got to be kidding me ! " she said rubbing it...
" I can't belive he'd do that..what's gotten into him ? " she huffed...
" winnie are you okay ! " sibella sad running up to her aid..
" yeah I'm fine...just..what on earth is going on here..why would wilbe steal that book..? " she said standing up and staring up at the stone wall..
" I don't know, but, something was off about him., I know he'd never do anything like that, "
" girls are you all okay ! " they heard another voice say the both looked back to see miss grimwood, standing there with tanis and the others...
" were fine..." they both answered..
" Tanis told me that someone had broken into the school is that true ? " and if so how !? " she asked...
the ghouls all exchanged looks at one another, not sure how to explain it..,
" well, you see, it was wilbie.." winnie said scratching her head..
" what. him ? what was he doing here...how did he get in here ? " she asked a little surprised..
everyone turned to look at winnie agrin and frowned...to which she just shrugged sheepishly..
" what...did he want ? " miss grimwood asked raising an eyebrow...
the girls all looked at on another not sure how to break the news...
sibella then sighed " he took the, he took the he dream holder..." sibella admitted... as Miss grimwood showed a rare look of concern her face.
