So McShizzleSupreme778 had replied me about which OC he/she wants. Scout Adams will appear in the next chappie. Yay! Hopefully you like her ;) Even though she won't be a major role but she'll come up quite a lot soon. I have plans for her though I may have to go over a couple background info with McShizzleSupreme778.
"I don't get why you pulled us up so early. I don't have classes for another hour and a half and Will doesn't have any classes in the morning." Kat groaned and stretched out across the table, nearly knocking over the jug of milk.
"Even if you don't, other people do. Besides, you need to get into the routine of waking up early. You do have class first thing in the morning tomorrow." Remus said, as a-matter-of-factly. Kat looked up and frowned, wondering how Remus could memorize her schedule before she did. James just shrugged to her silent question and muttered something unintelligible, though it sounded suspiciously like 'abnormal'.
"For the record Remus, you were the one who used to tell us to sleep more." Sirius said before mouthfuls of cereal.
"Only because you'd stay up til three in the morning to play video games!" Remus said, exasperated.
Kat reached in Remus' bag and pulled out his schedule. Looking at it, she frowned. "Dude, you don't have any class til nine thirty, which is in an hour. Why did you drag us all out of bed at eight!?"
Remus shrugged, not answering, before standing up to dump his tray. His roommates saw that and immediately held out their own, silently begging Remus to do it for them. After several glares, an exasperated sigh, and a couple questions about life, Remus relented and carried four tray with him to the garbage area, cursing his soft heart and ignoring the grateful calls of his roommates behind him.
"Danke, Remy!" (German for thank you)
"My hero!"
"I love you, Moony!"
Remus tried his best to pretend he didn't know any of them. They could be downright embarrassing at time. Correction: most of the times. He unceremoniously tossed the paper trays in the trash bin and turned around, running into a short boy with mousy hair. The lack in height made the boy in question fall backwards.
"Petey? Oh I'm so sorry." Remus hurriedly helped his friend up after the initial shock was over. "How are you doing these days? I haven't seen you around lately. We should catch up! I'm sure James and Sirius would be happy to see you."
Peter beamed at his friend. "That's a great idea! I've been busy with my new roommates and classes but I'll be free this afternoon! We could all hang out!"
"Remus is taking his time." Will commented, wondering why he's not back yet. James craned his neck to see where his friend is. Suddenly he spotted something that made him excitedly slap Sirius repeatedly on the back.
"Sirius, look! It's Peter! Our Petey!" He exclaimed, oblivious to the confused looks of those around him.
Back in high school, the four of them were really close friends that shared the same dormitory(it was a boarding school). They soon bonded over late night studying sessions with hot cocoa and their love of pranks. One night, the four boys were pigging out on their secret stash of sweets (or as they called it- having a celebratory feast after the exams were finally over) when James thought it would be best if they had a name for their group of pranksters. Remus could've sworn it's the first and last time he has ever saw James and Sirius open a dictionary. And that is how the group Marauders was created.
They remained great friends throughout the rest of their high school life and caused plenty of mischief. Sirius and James were obviously the leaders of the group and the ones who always had ideas for pranks. Remus was their providing them with information they needed and made sure they don't fall behind in their studies. More often than not, he had to reel Sirius and James in to prevent their pranks from going too far. Peter always tagged along, believing every word of James and Sirius and did anything they told him to. In Remus' words, Peter practically worshiped James and Sirius, the football stars. He didn't contribute as much to their group as the other three, but that didn't stop the other three from treating him equally and being great friends with him. Those four are the best of friends and always was there for each other, eventually even getting into the same college.
"It really is him! Wow, we haven't seen him in forever!" They ran over to the short boy, or in James' case, bounced over in excitement. They may be eighteen but act like they were six most of the times.
Deep down they felt ashamed to have forgotten about Peter for the past week they've been at HBU. They soon made up to it by promising to go to the arcade after class end and then grab some fast food afterwards.
Annabeth's phone dinged as a message popped onto her screen. Unlocking her phone and saw that Rachel had created a group chat with everyone's number last night.
Kat
Anyone have the morning off? Or at least free for the first hour? I don't have classes and I'm bored
Heard there's this amazing bakery on campus. Who's up to go with me and Will?
Apparently they make the best scones on earth.
Remus
Scones? I'm in.
Rachel
That sounds delicious:(
Too bad I got art class.
Annabeth smiled to herself, she didn't have anything better to do. So, why not? Plus it help her get to know these people better. Also she loved sweets, a fact she never mentioned to anyone. It reminded her of the good times she spent with her dad, watching romcoms and snacking on buttered popcorn and skittles.
Annabeth
I'm also free.
At least for an hr.
Kat
Great! Who else.
Frank (Zhang)
I don't have anything better to do.
Percy
You guys are all so lucky!
I have class all day and I planned to hit the pool afterwards.
Annabeth smile fondly. Two weeks had carved Percy and his obsession with water into her mind. Well, two weeks and watching her roommate watch funny goldfish videos. Which she didn't even knew existed before.
If you told her two years ago that she would be surrounded with friends she would laugh and go back to whatever book she was reading or study for another exam. She devoted all of her time in studying to live up to the standards of her stepmother. Now she met good friends who are willing to study with her and make her relax when she needed it.
Which is why she found herself walking down the campus road, avoiding passing cars, greeting fellow students, and daydreaming about delicious scones.
Again, sorry for the lack of updates but three of my friends had their birthday in a week plus a bad case of writer's block...
Also sorry for the filler chapter, but the next one will be fun to write and read. It'll include all their activities and other fun stuff. XD
Oh and in case you haven't noticed I put an extra space for text messages because it might be easier to read, tell me what you think.
