"Rest well my angel"She launched herself up feeling something slip down her body, those four words have plagued her dreams for weeks now she just can't figure out if it was real or not because if she's honest why in the world would the Itachi Uchiha ever saying anything remotely close to that line with such a gentle and caring tone. She sighs and rubs are her eyes feeling slightly dizzy
"Why hello there sleeping beauty"she stops turning to look at the the said person she opens her mouth to comment until she takes in Sasuke's profile; some white powder litters his face and hands, an apron covered and what she assumes to be dough, and a flushed face a sudden though hits her
"Now that I think about it you can't bake"Sasuke goes stiff before chuckling "Yeah mom wouldn't shut up about it so she came over and has been teaching me "she smiles the Uchiha family sure is something she sometimes wished she had a family like that
"Aw we-"before she can finish her sentence Mikoto, ready to fuss at Sasuke walks but immediately stops seeing her up
"Oh your awake how do you feel dear? I didn't want to stop your movie just in case you woke back up"she shrugs her shoulders before she yawns stretching Mikoto watches with a smile before her face changes
"Oh that's right while you were sleep Itachi cleaned the place up and took Noodles for a walk already"Sasuke huffs crossing his arms
"Why did he even do all that come again"Mikoto fixes Sasuke with a quick glare before turning back to her with a smile
"I told him he would not leave this apartment until someone else was here so you wouldn't be by yourself "she smiles without realizing it remembering how Itachi hardly knew what to to do with a dog so the thought of him walking one was comical to say the least
"Well don't just stand there let's get you something to eat so you can take your medication"Mikoto gently ushers her out the room and into the kitchen where a clearly annoyed Fugaku stands with his arms crossed
"Yo dad she's up now"Sasuke loudly announces to his father before plopping down on a bar stool, Mikoto clicks her tongue before whacking Sasuke on the back of the head
"Ow! What the fuck mom!?"Mikoto smacks Sasuke once more before checking her watch her mood suddenly changes and she becomes excited as she hands her a bowl of Soba
"Oh that's right I asked Itachi-"Sasuke coughed interrupting his mother " You mean forced" Fugaku shorts and she giggles Mikoto huffs before continuing
"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted I asked Itachi to take you out"she nearly dropped her bowl in shock
"Out as in a date or with a weapon?"she can practically hear the smirk-no the shit eating grin on Sasuke's face at his own joke and as if I'm cue a loud smack and a groan of pain followed
"Please Sasuke like your older brother could ever do such a thing"Sasuke rubbed his head before snorting
"What pull a woman or kill someone?"Fugaku chuckles and Sasuke barks with laugher Mikoto frowns annoyed
"Now isn't the time to be talking about your brother's nonexistent love life alright?"surprisingly enough Fugaku speaks up
"You have to admit that it's weird with someone with his looks to still be single"Mikoto's frown deepens before she starts to wash the dishes
"Well maybe he's just waiting for a certain someone he likes but isn't sure if they feel the same, you forget our Itachi is like an innocent school girl when it comes to anything love related"she finds herself smiling once again when a behavior of Itachi's was mentioned...'I talk like I like him ugh' but he is the sweetest thing when he's not all statue like
"The hell are you smiling so hard for?"Sasuke's voice snaps her from thought almost giving her brain whiplash "H-huh?"Sasuke snorts at her reaction and wraps an arm around her shoulder
"Who are you thinking of hm?"she jumps and almost s knocks her glass of water off the kitchen island
"W-who said I was thinking of anyone"Sasuke rolls his eyes with a smile on his face
"What are you giving me that look?"she crosses her arms and tries to give Sasuke her best glare but it has no effect on the raven who seemingly finds it more hilarious then anything else
"You look like a corgi"she opens her mouth in shock and Sasuke doubles over laughing
"Haha-ow mom the fuck!!"Mikoto giggles as she dries off the wet dishes
"Don't laugh you just hit me with a plate!"Fugaku chuckles for a second before catching himself as they all start laughing with the exception of Sasuke of course. She sits on the sofa with Sasuke trying to sit through a movie with his parents, if she didn't know any better she'd say Sasuke purposely choose a scary movie to torment his mother for hitting him with the plate earlier
"Sasuke dear don't you think we should maybe-AH!"Mikoto practically jumps into Fugaku's arms who looks as if he's enjoying his wife being so scared and in his arms though he'd probably never admit such a thing, a sudden ring of the doorbell almost scares all of them
"Sasuke go get the door"Sasuke makes a face as if he can't believe his mother
"Are you kidding me mom what if it's a killer?!"Mikoto huffs before looking down at her husband
"Well you got get the door then Fugaku"she almost has to stop herself from laughing Fugaku looks like he also can't believe his wife
"Send Sasuke we can make another one of him he can't make another one of us"Mikoto giggles and Sasuke gasps as if offended, the doorbell rings once again and a knock follows
"Well Sasuke sweetie I doubt a killer or kidnapper would knock on the door"Sasuke huffs before getting up
"Fine I'll go get the door but if I die I'll haunt you two for the rest of your life"she giggles as Sasuke gingerly walks to the front door as another knock follows
"AH SHIT!!"she jumps up along with Sasuke's parents in worry
"Oh nevermind false alarm it's just Itachi"they all sigh and fall back into their seats Sasuke walks back in almost embarrassed
"How could your own brother scare you"Sasuke plops back down beside her
"He's got those scary ass eyes so when I opened the door it's all I saw"Mikoto laughs and Itachi walks into the room
"I apologize for not showing up sooner I was busy as work"Itachi looks around as if trying to find a place to sit
"Oh don't worry about it dear you can just watch movies with us instead, besides you can always take Hinata on a date some other day"at the mention of the word date Itachi's face practically turns red and he goes to hug his mother
"Aww did I embarrass you dear? It's okay Hinata is a lovely girl"Mikoto pats her eldest son's head comfortingly as the movie starts back up. During the movie it seems as though Mikoto wants to embarrass both her sons as much as she can even Fugaku picks up on it
"Hey boys switch spots"Sasuke looks at his father confused while Itachi refuses to lift his head from his mother's embrace
"Why?"Mikoto throws her shoe at Sasuke hitting him square on the head
"Don't ask questions just do it "Sasuke huffs getting up Itachi slowly gets up and the two switch seats
"Itachi why are you sitting so far away from Hinata scoot in closer your basically in the floor"Mikoto locks eyes with her before winking she smiles and grabs Itachi by the arm
"Yeah Itachi she looks a little cold why not warm her up"Sasuke grins at his older brother clearly enjoying torturing him
"Are you cold?"Sasuke and Mikoto both glare at her making her shiver in fear so she nods, Itachi wraps a blanket around her before scooting away again
"Oh come on Itachi hug her"she waits and Itachi awkwardly hugs her, unconsciously she leans into his chest and sighs out a moan Itachi jumps back
"I..excuse me"Itachi practically runs for the bathroom as everyone else laughs she finds herself smiling against her will
"Oh this will be a fun night"
That's all I had I tried to make this chapter longer then the rest since I was gone for so long
