I know the last chapter was short that was because I had to break it up into two parts so here's the second part. Also I forgot to mention the last chapter was like a flash into the future sorry for not clarifying that for you guys and I'm sure some of you are waiting for the naruhina well here you guys go I meant to get it sooner. I originally intended to split the chapter into two parts one about some things in the future and the other about the present

She watches as Shino takes an order from a customer as she cleans off a table, she turns around to get the cleaning spray and nearly has a heart attack
"Naruto!?"he chuckles and gives her a bright smile
"Hey Hinata how have you been?"she feels her face heat up as her childhood feelings for him come flooding back he grew up to be quite handsome
"O-oh I-I've been good"she continues to wipe down the table and pick up leftover trash
"Good, Sasuke told me how you got a pretty nasty head injury awhile back"she nervously smiles at his concern
"W-well yes b-but I'm better now"Naruto smiles once again before taking a sip of his drink
"It was kind of upsetting we lost contact after high school, I thought we became pretty good friends"the word 'friends' makes her heart clench despite her best efforts
"Y-yeah, although didn't you and Sasuke go on a date awhile ago"Naruto nearly chokes on his drink
"What oh hell no! He went on a date with some blonde chick when I was already there with Sakura"she feels slightly relived at that
"Oh he said you did"Naruto plops down at the table she was trying to clean grumbling
"Damn emo freak he knows damn well I don't swing that way"she throws away the empty cup on the table before turning back to Naruto
"Sasuke isn't really emo"Naruto snorts sitting his cup down and pulling out his phone
"Here give me your number so we can be in contact again"she takes off the gloves she was wearing to clean and punches in her phone number before handing the phone back to its owner, Naruto checks the time and his eyes become saucers
"Shit I better go before Sakura finds something else to bitch about"she waves as Naruto leaves the shop and she sighs going back to cleaning. Shino awkwardly pats her shoulder
"Good work today Hinata"she smiles at receiving a compliment from her manger and old friend
"Thanks have a good night"she grabs her things and walks out the door starting the walk back to her apartment. Usually the shop would've been closed hours ago but per Ino monthly inspection had to be done so the closing hours were extended and usually she doesn't have to walk home but it's so late Sasuke is probably sleep and she doesn't want to bother him but it's practically pitch black outside and the darkness is almost eerie, she nervously bites her lip before turning back around to rush back to the shop hoping Shino is still there to ask for a ride
"I figured you would need a ride so I waited to make sure you were okay"she smiles giving Shino a quick hug before hopping in his car. The drive was a peaceful silence until her phone went off
"Is it Sasuke?"she looks down to see an unknown number until she ready the text
"It's Naruto"Shino gives her a slight shocked look from his shades
"Are you two finally a thing?"she gasps feeling her face heat up
"Wha-no why would we!?"she doesn't even need to see his eyes to know Shino rolled them
"Oh please everyone knew since elementary school how much you liked him"she opens her mouth to retort but nothing comes so she simply opens her phone to answer Naruto. She opens the door of her apartment to be tackled by Sasuke
"Oh my gosh I missed you so muuuch I thought you were deaad"she smiles before cringing at the smell of alcohol from Sasuke's breath
"Seriously I tell you not to drink unless I'm home"she manages to push him back in before closing the door behind her
"I did wait but you took so looooong"she sighs sitting him down on the sofa
"I'll be right back after my shower don't drink anymore okay?"Sasuke makes a strange hybrid of a groan and a noise of approval as he slumps halfway off the chair. She dries her hair with a towel as she walks back into the living room to see Sasuke laid out on the dining table loudly groaning
"What are you doing?"Sasuke groans louder at her question
"I think I lost my kidney"she blinks puzzled until she noticed the vomit in various places on the floor and coffee table
"You seriously-just get off the table"she helps Sasuke down and to his room despite his loud protests about wanting her to get his kidney first. After getting Sasuke to bed she starts to clean the beer cans and vomit despite her fracture, her eyes lids feel heavy so she sits down to take a small break.
She jumps awake realizing she fell asleep the smell of eggs hits her nose and she gets up to peek in the kitchen and nearly screams until she realizes who the person was
"Itachi why are you here"the said man simply points to his right she follows to see Sasuke with his head down on the counter
"Sasuke did you drunk text your brother"Sasuke lifts his head to fast and groans holding his head
"Yeah also we need more groceries"she sighs walking to her room to change. She grabs a cart and unfolds the list and scrunches her face at the chicken scratch of Sasuke's handwriting and is glad Itachi wrote out what he meant beside it so she picked up everything and paid for it easily,she was so focused on trying to read the groceries list she wasn't paying attention
"Ow what the hell!"she gasps and rushes over to the person she ran into
"I'm so sorry I wasn't looking and I-Naruto?"he looks up at the sound of her voice
"Oh hey Hinata funny seeing you here"she helps Naruto up and be kindly helps her put the groceries in the back on her car
"You know just for that you owe me lunch"she smiles folding up the list and putting it in her pocket
"How about now"Naruto gives her his signature grin when he was a kid. She let Naruto pick the restaurant and to no surprise he chose a ramen shop and despite her nervousness the conversation flowed wonderfully along with the great tasting food
"Oh man I kept you out late"she gasps realizing he's right she fishes through her wallet and pays for the meal, Naruto walks her to her out the restaurant as their conversation continued
"Let's have another date sometime soon kay?"she smiles nodding
"Of co-a d-d-d-DATE!?"her faves turns beat red and Naruto laughs waving goodbye, she walks back to the car with a fond smile on her face
Okay that's it for this chapter once again I'm so sorry I forgot to mention last chapter was a small glimpse into a later point in the story and that I couldn't combine the two into one the app wasn't letting me so I had to break it up
