Hey guys I am so so sorry I haven't updated in awhile to make it up to you guys I tried to make this chapter a little longer then most

She hums as she sweeps the dust off the cafe floor, it was her turn to lock up tonight, as of late the cafe's open hours had to be extended not that she necessarily minded she enjoyed her job plus Naruto has offered to drive her home when it gets dark so she doesn't have to walk. Thinking of Naruto makes he cheeks turn pink
"Hey Hinata you ready to go?"she snaps her heart up to see Naruto walking up to her smiling as usual
"Hm? Oh y-yes l-l-let me go get my things"she rushes to the back gathering all her things before going back out to Naruto. The ride back to her apartment was pleasant Naruto asked about her day and seemed to genuinely be interested in what she had to say making he feel fuzzy all over
"Well here we are"Naruto parked the car and she got out before waving to him watching as he drove away, her phone buzzed but she ignored it trying to get into her apartment as soon as possible. She made her way to her door but before she could get her keys the door flung open and she was pulled inside
"There you are girl I was worried sick"she smiles and hugs Sasuke back
"I'm okay Naruto drove me home"Sasuke pulled back smirking
"Naruto ai~"she blushes and pushes him away pouting as Sasuke's laughter increased before he slapped a hand over his mouth like he realized something
"What is if?"Sasuke puts a finger to his lips before motioning for her to follow, he leads her to the living room where she sees Itachi peacefully sleeping on the sofa
"He wasn't feeling good and mom couldn't look after him so she dropped him off here refusing to leave her 'poor baby' alone when he wasn't feeling good"she giggles but stops at the sound of Itachi's groan of pain
"Has he gone to the doctor?"Sasuke shrugs his shoulders before pulling the blanket back over his brother
"Mom said he refused to saying 'it's not that bad' since it's a common cold"she looks back at Itachi studying his features; his face lightly flushed and sickly looking, his nose red probably from being raw, and his eyes look puffy
"I really think he should go to the doctor"Sasuke seems to study his brother's features as well before nodding
"Your right he does look pretty bad"Sasuke gently shakes his brother awake but he gets no response Sasuke shakes a bit harder but still nothing
"Um..."she stops changing when she hears Sasuke
"What is it?"she hears rustling of a blanket then silence
"He's not waking up-holly shit he's burning up!"she quickly slips on her shoes before rushing back into the living room to see Sasuke picking up his brother
"Gets the keys we need to hurry"she nods.
She anxiously waits in the hospital halls along with Sasuke watching his pace back and forth
"Where's my baby!?"Mikoto's voice can be heard frantically trying to see if her son was alright and where he was Fugaku struggles to keep her calm, the door opens and a doctor steps out
"How is he!? Is my baby alright!?"Mikoto frantically asks on the verge of tears once again
"We almost lost him but he's stable, you can see him if you like but please do be quiet"the doctor turns and leads the way
"I can't give you much since our test results haven't come in yet but I can tell you it most likely has something to do with his terminal illness, when the test results come in we might be able to proscribe a new medication for this newer stem"the doctor opens the door Mikoto rushes in first but has to be caught by Fugaku before she hits the floor in shock
"I'll leave you all alone"Mikoto walks up to the bed taking her son's hand Fugaku stands close to her
"I...I need to catch my breath"Mikoto rushes out the room with her husband close behind Sasuke follows to check on his mother, she goes to follow everyone else when she hears Itachi groan she makes her way over to his bed to see him open his eyes
"Your awake!"she throws herself onto him he hesitantly hugs her back
"We've been here all night to see if you were okay"Itachi winces before sitting up despite her protests
"Did...were you really worried about me?"her jaws drops
"Of course I was, you mean so much to me"Itachi's face seemed to slightly turn red but it was probably from his illness
"How are you feeling?"she sat on the bed beside him and took his hand
"Hn"she giggled as Itachi laid back
"I'm taking that as your okay"Itachi remained silent his face still lightly flushed pink, she opened her mouth to say something but the door opening stopped her
"Hina-my baby!!"Mikoto ran across the room practically throwing herself onto her son tightly embracing him
"Oh I didn't know what I would do if my baby didn't wake up"Mikoto squished Itachi's cheek against her own, Sasuke made an offended face and loudly cleared his throat
"Oh um I meant my first baby, your still my baby too Sasuke just my little baby"Sasuke's eye visibly twitched when his mother said little but didn't say anything
"How are you feeling dear?"Itachi almost nervously looked at the four pairs of eyes looking at him for an answer
"Fine,the doctor said I could leave tonight "Mikoto smiled but she clearly wasn't convinced, she gasped and her eyes lit up the way they only do when she gets an idea that is guaranteed no one will like
"Why don't you stay with Hinata and your brother until your health gets better"everyone's jaw seems to drop
"That sounds like a lovely idea Mrs.Uchiha, I was just coming to tell you he shouldn't stay by himself for awhile"Mikoto beams at the doctor's words she handed Hinata the medication a nurse had handed her earlier
"Perfect! C'mon Sasuke help me pack some of your brother's things...you to Fugaku"both men's shoulders deflate as they slowly follow her
"Wait mother you don't have the key to my home"Mikoto smiles almost menacingly as she holds up a key
"Of course I do, I made a spare for it years ago"Itachi blinks taken aback as his mother cheerfully laughs
"Help in him gets settled in your apartment, okay dear?"she nods waving to Mikoto
"Alright um let me help yo-wah!?"she turns bright red and covers her face, shielding her eyes from Itachi's barely covered body, she could only hear the rustling of clothes until it stopped curiously she split her fingers open to peer out through, she expected to see him sitting on the hospital bed but instead his face was about five centimeters from her own
"Ah!"she jumped back nearly falling twice, Itachi looked on the verge of laughing
"I'm ready to go"she slowly nodded as she collected herself before walking out the door.
"Um are you hungry?"she looked to her side at Itachi's dazed expression she walked out the kitchen and up to where he laid on the sofa realizing he was sleeping, she smiles and grabs a blanket and covers his body before getting a pillow and gently lifting up his head to slide the pillow under, she sat on the floor in front of the sofa and grabbed her phone text Sasuke until she saw a text from Naruto from the day before she opened it and her heart almost broke in two; one part wanted to jump to the heavens and the other wanted to sink to hell as she reread the text message
"Hey do you want to go out with me Hinata?"
