Season One, Episode One

Stoneheart, Part One

"I refuse to believe you," Bridgette panted. "You're my little sister! Not my worst enemy!" Marinette scowled at her.

"Little sister? How about inferior! That's what you always treated me like!" Marinette shouted, throwing a long pole at Bridgette. Bridgette tried to dodge her little sisters attack, but it was useless, Marinette was to strong.

Marinette walked up to a trapped Bridgette. With a scoff, Marinette rolled her eyes at her sister. "Mari, please listen to me! This isn't you!"

"What's to say this isn't how I feel?" Marinette asked, kicking her in the stomach.

Bridgette awoke with a jerk. She looked at the clock and sighed. 3 am. Perfect. She rolled down and peaked over the edge of her bunk bed to see Marinette, her little sister, fastly asleep. "I love you, Mari," she whispered. Bridgette rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom. She turned on the fossette and splashed her face with cold water. Falling asleep was becoming easier for Bridgette, but staying asleep, not so. Nightmares had been a common occurrence, and they had all been surrounded by her little sister.

Bridgette loved Marinette, but the words Marinette said in her dream wouldn't go away. So, turning on her lamp, she opened her "Dream Journal" and began writing in it for the fifty first time since the nightmares had started. They created a story. It was weird that they all connected and it just felt like she was scared of something. Not that she knew what she was afraid of.

"Brid?" Marinette's voice said.

"Mari! Why are you awake?" Bridgette whispered to her.

"I heard water," Marinette responded. "And your reason is?"

"You know," Bridgette responded. "Nightmare."

"When will they go away?" Marinette asked.

"I don't know," Bridgette replied.

"Well, that's no fun," Marinette said. Bridgette closed her book and put the peen down.

"Mari, go back to bed," Bridgette said. "I'm not going back to bed because of my nightmares but you have no reason not to go back to bed."

"Fine, Brid," Marinette said, getting back into her bed. "But you need sleep just as me." Marinette was right, Bridgette hadn't been getting the amount of sleep that would help her continue through school. That reminded Bridgette school started the next day, and Marinette knew it too, that's why Marinette went to bed so easily. Bridgette was technically a year older than Marinette, but the school they went to combined two year students with the first year students.

The couple hours before school went by slowly for Bridgette as she started and finished a novel, drew a couple sketches, and thought about her biggest crush since grade school, Felix. But, finally, Marinette's phone went off to tell Marinette she needed to get ready. Once out the door, they made their way to a cross walk where an old man was walking slowly across the road. Bridgette put the box of macaroons in Marinette's arms and pulled the old man to safety.

"Are you okay, sir?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, and thank you," the old man said, almost wistfully, like he should've been ready for something like that.

"That's okay," Bridgette said, opening the macaroon box and handing one to the old man. "Here, we have plenty."

"Thank you," the old man said, taking a bite of the macaroon. "This is very much appreciated." And when Bridgette and Marinette crossed the street, to himself, he said, "I have found two people worthy."

Bridgette and Marinette were wearing similar outfits for their first day of school. But, it was also not their choice since the school was a private school. They were wear skirts with knee high socks and tennis shoes. They wore a white blouse and headbands. Marinette had her hair up in double buns while Bridgette had her hair in two pigtails. They walked into the classroom and Bridgette called to her group of friends and Marinette sat down at the seat of her choice.

"Uh- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, that's my seat," came Chloe Bourgeois' voice.

"But, Chloe, I always sit here!" Marinette fought back.

"New year, new seats," came Sabrina's voice, next to Marinette. Marinette turned her head and came nose to nose with Sabrina. Marinette groaned and grabbed her bag. She sat in the front, next to a new girl.

"Hey, Amber, why don't you tell your sister not to be mean to mine," Bridgette said, a little frustrated at Chloe's mood. Amber shot up.

"Chloe!" Amber scolded. "Don't make me tell Daddy."

"But I did nothing, Am," Chloe said, making a pouty face. Amber sighed. She was so easily swayed by the crowd, no one knew how she could put up with Chloe.

"Man, that girl gotta take a chill pill," the new girl said.

"Yeah, Chloe's pretty much the boss of her family," Marinette responded. "Hey, I'm Marinette."

"I'm Alya," the girl responded. She had wavy brown hair and black glasses. She was tan skinned and honestly really pretty. Marinette almost knew right away what outfit she would look good in.

"Hey, would you like to come over to my house after school?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah, that'd be fun," Alya said.

"HEY!" shouted a boy in the class named Ivan. When he saw the whole class staring, he said, "Kim started it!"

"Ivan!" the teacher, Ms. Bustier, scolded. "Principal's office now." Ivan rolled his eyes, clutching a piece of paper in his hand.

Within a few minutes there were screams outside, and everyone rushed to the window. Kids pulled out their phones to see the news and it was true: Paris was being attacked by a supervillain.

"Everyone, get home now," Ms. Bustier said, getting everyone out.

"Full battery, check. Bag, check. Phone, check! I'm outta here!" Alya announced.

"Where do you think you're going?" Marinette asked her.

"Where there's a supervillain, there's always a superhero close behind! Superheroes are amazing!" Alya practically shouted. She was out the door before anyone could stop her.

"Bridgette, I'm gonna go stop her! She's gonna get herself hurt!" Marinette called to her sister who was helping people gather their stuff.

"No prob, Mari!" Bridgette shouted to her. Marinette ran out the door and tripped on a crack. Her bag opened and a box rolled out of it.

"What is this?" Marinette asked. She grabbed it and opened it. In all the chaos, no one noticed the bright light that emerged from the box. Marinette immediately shut the box and ran into the girl's bathroom. Opening it again, she diverted her eyes so as not to go blind.

"Hello, Marinette!" said a little animal like thing.

"What the heck! A bug! A mouse! A- a- a bugmouse!" Marinette shouted.

"Chillax, I'm not here to hurt you," the bugmouse said. "I'm Mullo, and you are chosen to be the miraculous holder of the mouse miraculous." The bugmouse moved out of the way to show a necklace of a circle like stone.

Marinette put on the necklace and said, "So, explain how this works to me?"

Meanwhile, Bridgette ran into her bedroom. Marinette must still be trying to find Alya, was Bridgette's first thought. A box was on her desk and Bridgette's first thought about it was not to touch it. But, she opened it anyway. A bright light shone really bright and Bridgette fell backwards in her chair. "What the heck?"

"Hello, Bridgette, I'm Tikki, the kwami of creation," a bug-like thing said.

"How- HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" Bridgette shouted at the thing. She grabbed a glass, dumped out the pencils it was holding and captured the bug thingy.

"Okay, if this makes you feel safer," Tikki said. "You've been chosen to be the holder of the ladybug miraculous, and Paris needs you." Bridgette looked back in the box. Earrings. She put them on and asked for an explanation. Tikki explained everything, including how to capture and purify the akuma.

"The what?" Bridgette asked.

"Akuma," Tikki said.

"Okay, so I catch the akuma and everything will be just peachy?" Bridgette asked, an edge of sarcasm in her tone.

"Yes, that is until there is another akuma," Tikki said.

"Brilliant, how do I transform?"

"Say spots on," Tikki responded.

"Spots on?" With that, Bridgette transformed. Her normal clothes changed into a red jumps suit with black polka dots and long red ribbons holding up her pigtails. "Um- Tikki? Where did you go? I'd like my clothes back please." Her computer was on with the news and it showed a giant monster made of rocks and Tikki's words, "Paris needs you," went through Bridgette's head. So, she went onto her balcony and took off landing on top of a boy walking on a baton.

"Sorry," she muttered.

"That's okay," the boy responded. He was wearing a skin-tight leather suit with cat ears and a black belt that acted as a tail. He had blonde hair and striking green eyes that reminded Bridgette of Felix. Although, it couldn't be Felix, Felix was so much more well-kempt than this boy who had messy hair that went down to his neck. "And who might you be?"

"Bri- no one important," Bridgette said. She knew she couldn't tell her real name, and she had no idea what she would go by. Superbug? No, that wouldn't do.

"Well, pleased to meet you, I'm Cat Noir, and I guess we're just gonna hang here," the boy said, motioning to the yo-yo that tangled them up, upside down.

"Wow, really funny, don't we have more important things to deal with?" said a girl sitting on a roof. "Nice to see I'm not the only one chosen. Name's Multimouse, and I'll get you down." The girl threw a jump rope and shouted something loud, but Bridgette couldn't quite hear her, Cat Noir was breathing in her ears. Several little versions of Multimouse began untangling the two and then Multimouse joined back together.

"Ouch," Bridgette said, dropping on the ground.

"One sec, let me feed my kwami. I have five minutes, and I'm pretty sure we're not beating Stoneheart in four minutes," Multimouse said, fingering her necklace. She ran into an alleyway and within three minutes, she was back to being Multimouse.

"Looks like I missed the meeting," said another boy with blonde hair and blue tips. He had orangish eyes and had a green outfit, much like a snake. That must mean he was a snake. "I'm Aspik, if you were wondering. Hey! Where are you going?" Multimouse had already taken off.

"There's a supervillain to fight, is there not?" Multimouse called back. "Our job is to save the day, not to stand around sharing names."

"I'm with the mouse," Cat Noir said, retrieving his baton and following her.

"Count me in!" Aspik shouted, following in pursuit.

Bridgette groaned. "Fine." She used her yo-yo to launch her through Paris to the gym.

"KIMMM!" a low voice shouted, and that must be Stoneheart.

"You know, I have the coolest power," Cat Noir bragged. "Watch this! I'll destroy him using this. Cataclysm!" The cat got his super power and put his hand against a football (or soccer for those in America) post.

"Wait! Don't do that!" Bridgette shouted, finally arriving. It was too late. The post dissolved into dust and Cat Noir looked at his hand and back at the dust.

"Cool!" He ran up to Stoneheart and placed a hand on his foot, expecting it to dissolve. "Uh-oh."

"Didn't your kwami teach you anything?" Aspik asked him as Cat Noir landed on his back.

"That I could use cataclysm," Cat Noir said. "And how to transform. And that I'd have a team. But other than that, no."

"Well, then, my turn!" Aspik said. "Second chance!" He turned his bracelet, and stopped Cat Noir. "Don't use your cataclysm yet, you can only use it once."

"Good to know. Thanks," Cat Noir responded.

Bridgette screamed as she crash landed on the ground. "Uhg."

"You good?" Multimouse asked.

"Just great," Bridgette murmured. Bridgette got to her feet and said, "LUCKY CHARM!" A water suit fell down and Bridgette caught it. "What am I gonna do with this?"

"Look! He always keeps his hand shut his akuma must be in something in his fist!" Multimouse observed. Alya was using her phone to watch everything. "Ladybug miraculous holder, put that in your hand. Trust me on this." Multimouse used her jump-rope and threw Cat Noir into Stoneheart's free hand.

"You're crazy!" Cat Noir shouted. Then Multimouse did the same thing to Bridgette and Stoneheart caught her in his clamped hand. Nothing fell out of his hand and Multimouse knew something like that would happen.

"Aspik, the hose!" Multimouse shouted as the snake. Aspik grabbed the hose and aimed it at Bridgette.

"ARE YOU INSANE?" Bridgette shouted at the mouse. The hose began filling up the water suit like a balloon, making Stoneheart drop Bridgette and the akuma.

"Don't forget me!" Cat Noir wailed.

"Don't worry, kitty!" Multimouse called. She dove towards a piece of paper and ripped it.

"Bye-bye, butterfly," Bridgette said. "Miraculous ladybug!" Bridgette threw the wet suit in the air fixing everything, leaving Ivan on the ground.

"Wha- What happen?" Ivan asked.

"It's okay," Multimouse comforted. "You were turned into a supervillain named Stoneheart, but I'm sure it'll be okay." Aspik picked up a paper.

"Hey, is this what you wanted with this Kim dude? Because he called you wuss because you couldn't tell the person you like that you liked them?" Aspik asked.

"Yeah," Ivan said, kicking a rock with his foot. (Ironically)

"That's okay, we all get nervous sometimes," Bridgette said.

"What can we call you guys?" Alya said, pointing her phone at the superheroes.

"I'm Aspik, and I'm outta here," Aspik said, launching himself away.

"I'm Multimouse," Multimouse said, bobbing her head, her two buns bobbing with her.

"I'm Cat Noir," Cat Noir said. He did a little bow and leapt away with his baton.

"And you?" Alya said. "What will we call you? Wonderbug?"

"No," Bridgette said, shaking her head. "Call me Ladybug."

"I have so many questions, did you get bit by a radioactive ladybug?" Alya asked, but Ladybug was already gone. "What about you Multimouse? Where do your powers come from?"

"We all get our powers from our jewelry, but that is all I can tell you, goodbye," Multimouse said launching herself over the stands with her jump-rope.

"Because of amateur footage, we now know the heroes of Paris, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Aspik, and Multimouse. We can hope they won't be needed again, but for now, Paris is safe under their watch. This is Nadia Schmock, and we're out."

Bridgette felt somewhat satisfied with her performance and felt she was getting a hang on this being a super heroine. But, when Nadia came back on, that's when Bridgette felt worried. Butterflies were taking over Paris, turning people into stone beings, completely frozen in time. "Tikki, what is that?" Bridgette asked her kwami, that was eating a cookie.

"Did you purify the akuma?" was Tikki's first response.

"Did I what?" Bridgette asked, tensing up.
