Hello everyone and welcome back to Tales of Tamers Xilla! Sorry about the long update been busy with a few things. Last time we left off on a major chiff hanger at the end of arc 1. Now you get to see what happen next in arc 2: Secrets. Now without farther ado let get the show on the road. For the disclaimer I don't own Digimon, Tales of Xilla, Bleach, and Sword Art Online.
Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, just when the gang thought they were in the clear things turn sour for them. Cline have decided to rebel against Nachtigal for what he done, only to be kill for it. It got worse when Milla, Elize and Driselle were taken by the Rashugal army and were sent to Fort Gandala. Anger by Cline's death and his friends capture Takato storm the fort to get revenge. There he met up with everyone and confront Nachtigal. It didn't end well when Milla became seriously injure. The sight of Jude holding Milla trigger a vision in Takato causing him to see the red hair girl dying in his arms. This shaken him badly as he and the gang escape the fort and return to Sharilton to tend to their fallen friend.

Chapter 8
Road to recovery
Takato POV: It was a few hours since our disaster at the fort. We quickly rush Milla back to the manor to get treated by a doctor Rowen has call. I was in the lounge with Jude, he was worry about Milla. As for myself I was still thinking about the girl in my vision. This is the second time i saw her, watching her die in my arms it felt like my heart was torn in two. I have to find Erika and fast, only she hold the answers to all of this. That when we saw Rowen with the doctor. "How Milla?" Jude ask. "She stable, it was a good thing you gave her healing artes." The doctor said. "That good to heard." I said. "But i'm afraid her condition isn't good. The damage to her legs is too server, she will not be able to walk again." He said. "I-I see." Jude said sadly. "Where Alvin?" I ask. "He said he was going to the plaza." Rowen said. "I'll g fine him." Jude said as he walk out. "I need some air." I said as i went outside. I sat outside the manor, can't believe Milla wont be able to walk anymore.
Should I tell my father about this? No he doesn't need to know. That when I saw a messager bird. I held out my hand to let it land. I took the note from it leg. Wonder what it say, it read: Yo Takbou I found some info on that lady you were looking for. I'll be in Legonde in too days see ya then sign Argo. Finally a break. That when I saw Jude coming back. "Where Alvin at?" I ask. "He said he got a new job, so he laving." He said. "Figure as much." I said as Elize came out." "Milla awake." She said. "That good let go check on her." I said as we went up stairs. When we enter the room we saw Milla siting up in the bed. "Nice to know the lord of spirits didn't kick the bucket." I said. She chuckles. "Nice to see you as well Takato." She said. "So Milla what will you do now?" Jude ask. "I still have my mission to fulfill." She said. "Even in her given state she won't give up." I said as I shake my head.
"She have her mission and I had mine." I said as they all look at me. "What are you saying?" Jude ask. "It time to part ways." I said. "What your leaving?' Elize ask sadly. "Why?" Ask Teepo. "The girl I been looking for Erika, my informant found some info on her. I'm going to see what she got and see where it take me." I said. I look at them with a smile. "But I'll be back count on it." I said. "Well I guess i wish you the best of luck." Jude said. "Same to you guys see you around." I said as I left the room. Once I left the manor I look to see someone I didn't expect. It was Cline, or more so His soul. "You know you don't belong here anymore right." I said as I walk to him. "I do, it hard to believe I'm dead." He said. "Do you have any last words for Rowen and Driselle?" I ask. He shook his head. " No Rowen will do what he know is right. And Driselle is a strong girl she'll be alright." He said. he sigh. "I wish i could stay longer." He said.
"You know what will happen to you from what I told you." I said. "I do let procced Takato." He said as I draw my sword. I switch to a reverse grip as the end of the hand glow blue. "It been an honor to know you Cline." I said. "The same to you goodbye my friend." He said as I tap him on the forehead. He became a white light and floated to the sky and disappear. "You ok?" Ask Moeru Ryu. "I'm fine let just get to the sea heaven." I said. It only took me an hour to reach Sapstrath. Once there i pay for my ticket and boarded the boat. "So back to being a lone wolf Takato?" A voice ask. I look to see Yoruichi. For now, thought you head back to bucket head?" I ask. She gave me a cat like grin. "Not yet I thought I'll keep my student company for a while." She said. "Sensei can I ask you something, do I know any girls with red hair aside for Orihime?" I ask.
"I don't believe so, does this have to do with the dreams you been having since the encounter with Aizen?" She ask. "Maybe." I said. I didn't say anything for the rest of the trip. It only took a few hours to get to Legonde. "Legonde so Argo wish to meet you here?" Yoruichi ask. "Yep but it will be a day or so before she show up. Best to get a room at the inn for the night." I said as we head to the inn an turn in. The next day I decide to go the sea heaven to look for Argo while Yoruichi went to explore the town. When I got there I saw Jude? He has Milla on his back. What are they doing here. "Well this is a surprise." I said as I walk to them. "Takato what are you doing here?" Jude ask. "I was waiting for my informant. I guess I should have told you it was in your home town. So why are you guys here?" I ask them. "Jude said his father treated someone with an injury like mine, so he brought me here to see if he can heal me." Milla said.
"Oh that right you said your dad was a doctor, guess it run in the family." I said. That when I saw something. It was a girl the same age of Jude riding in a wheel chair that was being push by some kids. She has short brown hair and green eyes. She wore an white and orange dress with black shorts and brown boots. She also wore a white hair band with blue flowers on the sides. "Faster faster let burn rudder." The girl shout as they race toward us. "Road block!" The little girl pushing her said. "Your right slower slower!" Wheel chair girl shout as she shot past us." Do over!" She shout as she hit the water. I look at Jude who has a smirk on his face. "Ok what the fuck was that?" I ask. "That was Leia." He said as the girl got out of the water with the wheel chair. "Sorry for the close call are you ok?" Leia ask. She then saw Jude. "Hi Leia I'm home." He said.
"Jude what are you doing here?" Leia ask. "I have something to do here, what ae you doing here?" He ask. "Well these kids wanted to race and well." Leia said. " And you have the kids push you right." I said. "Ah yes neverminded that, who are your friends?" Leia ask. "I suppose you know this girl?" Milla ask. "Yeah she an old friend of mine." Jude said. "How should I explain this? Leia this is Milla and Takato." Jude said. "Hello to you both." Leia said. She look down to see Milla's legs and look shock. "What happen to your legs!" She shout. She turn to the kids. "Run and get the doctor this woman need help." Leia shout as the kids ran off. She look back at us and brought the wheelchair over. "Are you heading home I'll come with you." She said as we place Milla in the chair. We quickly headed for the clinic. Once inside we saw it was crowded. The people came to greet Jude. That when a black hair woman came out.
She look at Jude and smile. She must be Jude mom. She then saw Milla as her face turn serious. "I'm sorry everyone we have an urgent case here, you have to come back in the afternoon." She said as everyone start to leave. "Sorry everyone we'll catch up soon." Leia said. "You really got into the swing of things here haven't you Leia." An old man said. "Best nurse in town if you don't count my little brother." She said. "Must you always say that sis?" A voice ask. I turn to see a boy my age. He has short green hair and eyes with glasses. He wore a simple green shirt and brown pants. "There you are Kenta." Leia said. Kenta look at me, for a sec I could have sword he look shock to see me. And he feel familiar just like that Jeri girl I met back in Hamil. "H-hi I'm Kenta Rolando." He said. "Takato." I said. "Bring her in." Mrs. Mathis said as she and Jude took Milla into the back. "Well I got to go too, Dad need my help sis. "Kenta said as he leaves.
I watch him carefully as he go. Just who are you. A while later we were waiting outside Milla's room. "So anything happen since I was gone?" I ask. "Nothing much ran into Ivar on the way here. He wasn't too happy about what happen to Milla and we fought." Jude said. I raise an eyebrow. "Really now, so who won?" I ask. "No one Milla stops us." He said as Mrs. Mathis came out. "Try not to worry she in good hands, have faith in your dad." She said. "You look like you been through the ringer, want to tell me about it?" She ask. Jude try to speak when someone burst in getting her attention. "Tough break man, I'm going to the inn for a bit. Let me know if there any change." I said as I walk out. It was a short walk to the inn. In front of it was Argo. "About time you show, what you got?" I ask. She cough and held out her hand. I roll my eyes and toss her a bag of gald.
She grin at me." Ok Takbou, I found out that chick you been looking for have been all over Rieze Maxia. But she been in Three towns quite offend." She said. "Where?" I ask. "1st in Hamil, 2nd is here in Legonde, and 3rd was in your hometown Kalanbar." She said. I cross my arms. "Out of all the places in the world why these three, what so important about them?" I ask. "That the thing Takbou, it not the towns she is interested it who in them. In Hamil it a girl name Jeri and her younger sibs, Here it a kid name Kenta and In Kalanbar it you." Argo said. "Hm now things get interesting." Moeru Ryu said. "So there is a connection between us, anything else?" I ask. "No." She said. "Ok I like for you to keep looking for Erika. I also want you to try to get into Fenmount and find out what you can about the Deputy chief of staff Giland. There something about him I don't like." I said. "Sure thing see ya." She said as she walk away.
So myself Jeri and Kenta, there something about us that Erika knows. Question is what thou? "Quite the mystery Takato." Moeru Ryu said. "Yeah it is , let head to the clinic. When I got inside saw Jude looking upset. "Something wrong?" I ask. "Well it." He said. He start to explain how much of an ass his dad is and how he believe the Aspirixis device won't be able to Milla. "Then let prove him wrong." I said. He nod. "Right come on." He said as we went into the store room. We start to look a round for a bit. That when Leia came in. "Looking for this?" She ask as she hand Jude a clipboard. "I knew you wouldn't give up." She said. "Thanks Leia." He said as he look it over. "So what it say?" I ask. "Wow my old man is really a genius. They sure didn't teach this in medical school." Jude said.
"Apparently the Aspirixis require a special stone. The kind of stone isn't written here." He said. "Yeah." Leia said sadly. "I bet he took notes how it done right?' So we can treat Milla." I said. "But is Milla up for it? I heard the last guy who took it cry uncle in 8 seconds." She said. "Take he chose the chair then shit." I said. "It that painful huh." Jude said. "But that wont stop you will if?" I ask. "It wroth the risk, I gonna do it." He said. "If you say so." Leia said. "You should check the box up there." She said as we saw a small black box on the high shelf. I grab it an hand it to Jude as he open it. "The Aspirixis?" He ask as he pull out a x shape device with a black stone in the center. "I found it when I was cleaning a while back." Leia said. "Then let go try it." I said. We quietly made our way to Milla room. She look at us as Jude pull out the device. "What are you doing?" She ask as we shush her. "We can't let my dad us." Jude said. "Why not?" She ask.
"Or else were in some deep shit." I said. "We're gonna use the Aspirixis on you." He said. "But your father just told me it was impossible." Milla said. "Leia give me a hand." Jude said. "sure, you want to lay on your side." Leia said as she help Milla to lay down. Jude look at the notes and place the device onto Milla's thigh. "Feel anything any pain?" He ask. "No nothing at all, my legs still won't budge either." Milla said. "Guess it a bust." I said. We shouldn't have gotten our hopes high. Milla sat up and remove the stone. "I don't sense any mana in this stone." She said as she look at us. "Your father said that the Aspirixis need a spirit fossil or it won't work." She said. "A spirit fossil, those really exist?" Jude ask. "Sure do, I found some a few times. But they have loss there mana." I said. "Oh so the special stone mention in the medical file was a spirit fossil." Leia said. "Your father also said the fossil have to be use immediately after it been uncover or it loess it mana." Milla said.
"Well shit." I curse. "Hold on I swear I remember that they use to find spirit fossils in the Felgana mine." Leia said. "Are you serious?" Jude ask loudly. "Jeez quiet just something my Dad told me." She said. "Milla look like we need to take you out for some field medince." Jude said. "That seem like a lot of work. You do that for me?" Milla ask. He nod to her. I roll my eyes, yep he head over heels for her. "Then let get going." I said. "I have to get some stuff ready, I meet you guys at the edge of town." Leia said as she left. We help Milla into her chair and head out. We went to the town limits and saw Leia. She have a battle staff on her back. "Ok here we go." She said as we left thee town. We have to cross through the Voltra woods to get to the mine. "Say Takato how did you meet Jude, he never mention you in his letters?" Leia ask.
"Funny story, it was about a year ago. I just move to Fenmount I was a real troublemaker. I was pranking some guards when then a bunch of them came after me. So I needed a place to lay low and I ran into Jude." I said. "I wouldn't say ran, he broke into my dorm and beg me to hide him for a few hours." Jude said. "And you did Mr. goody two shoes, and we been best buds ever since." I said as I grin. Milla chuckles. "That quite the meeting you had." She said. "Oh were here." Leia as we enter the mine. "Here we go this must be the place." She said as we look around. "Man it sure is a wreck." I said. "So from what I understand spirits fossils are particular color and they make sounds too." Leia said. "Yep there light blue and they hum." I said. "Huh crazy." Jude said. "Strange it like the workers quit in the middle of there work." Milla said as I pick up a pickax. "My money on it was some kind of accident that make it too dangerous to work." I said.
"That does not sound good." Jude said. "Come on don't chicken out now we came too to quit now." Leia said. "You sure are fire up." Jude said. That she is man. "An adventure waiting , let make the most of it" Leia said. "Man Orihime would love her." Moeru Ryu said. That she would. "Ready to race on who will find the most spirit fossils." Leia said. Jude sigh. "Oh don't be a party pooper Jude." I said. "We just need to be careful." He said. "Were fine it Milla you need to worry about." I said. "Now let fine the spirits fossils." Leia said. I sigh as I as I swung the pickax against the wall, causing a hold to open up. "Yo check it out." I said as they came over. "Woah what that?" Ask Leia as we saw blue flecks on the ground. "No mistaking that color these are spirit fossils." Milla said. "But there too small for the device." I said as I examine one. "Hey I can feel a breeze." Jude said. "Then we can move forward." I said.
"You two sit tight, me and Takato will check it out." Jude said. "And let you beat me ha." Leia said as she glare at him. "Leia come on it could be dangerous." Jude said. "And that why we should go together." Milla said. "Agreed." I said. "Yep what the point of bringing me long if your going lone wolf on us." Leia said. Jude sigh at that. "Just watch your step ok?" He ask. "No worry." She said as we went in deeper. We continue to walk for awhile until the ground shook. "A earthquake?" Jude ask. "Maybe let keep going." I said as we kept going in deeper. "Moeru Ryu do you sense anything?" I ask. "There something here something big, be on guard Takato." he said. We soon came to another dead end. I swung the pickax to make another opening so we can continue. We heard Leia breathe heavily. "Hey you should head back." Jude said. "Hey what exactly is a spirit fossil anyway?" Leia ask changing the subject.
"When a spirit loses it mana it manifest in this world as a stone." Milla said. "Of course that only for natural spirits. Human spirits tend to stick around until either a soul reaper like me help them past on to the afterlife or if a hollow get them." I said. "Hollow what that?" Leia ask. I grin at her. "A heartless monster that eat humans souls." I said as she she jump back. Ha too easy. "I never heard of something like that. Is it a city thing?" she ask. "Not that I know off." Jude said. "Anyway let find the stone already." I said as Jude stop. "Wait did you heard something?" He ask. "I heard it too." I said as I look across a chasm to see a spot of blue. "It a spirit fossil." Jude said. "Let check it out." Leia said. It took us awhile to get around the chasm, of course I had to break a few walls. Not to mention there were more earthquakes. I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this place. But when we got there we saw that the spirit fossil was gone.
"The hell?" I shout confuse. "Where did it go?" ask Leia. "This is definitely the right spot." Milla said. "Did it move?" Ask Leia. "Maybe." I said. "There a trail here so it must be inside." Jude said. "Yeah but rocks don't just get up and walk away." Leia said. "If you elimate the impossible, what ever remains however improbable must be the truth." Jude said. "Howe egg theory at it best." I said. "Yes I suppose." Milla said. "Well then let go." Leia said as we went in. We enter a large chamber. "Woah look at this place it surreal." Leia said. "You heard all the sounds they keep getting louder and softer." Jude said. "Must be the echoes." I said. "Watch yourselves." Milla said. I felt it too. "Leia get back!" I shout. The ground near her burst open as a large worm like monster with long thins arms appear. "A Hammerzam." I shout. "Look on it head." Milla said. We saw on the monster head was a large blue gem. "The spirit fossil." Jude said. "Well shit." I said as we got ready to fight.
Heroes vs the Hammerzam
"Rising falcon!" Jude shout as he gave it a wind cover kick to the head. It try to slash it claw at him. "Darting claw!" Leia shout as she slam her staff into it side. It then charge for her. "Enough Cross slash!" I shout as I slash it across the chest twice. That cause it to fall down. "Damn that thing was tough." I said. "It appear this beast was using the fossil to power itself." Ryu said. "All right let get that fossil." Leia said as she move for the down monster. "Careful." Jude said. "Come on the hard part is over now." She said. I saw apiece of the fossil fell off. It look big enough for the device. Leia pick it up, but them the Hammerzam got up and let out a roar. "Look out!" Jude shout as he grab her. The monster slam it head at them and send them flying. The fossil land a few feet away from Milla. She fell out of her chair and crawl to it while I try to hold the beast back.
Milla slam the fossil into the Aspirixis. It glows as she cry out in pain. We all watch as she climb to her feet. "Your going to pay for that beast, get away from them!" She shout as she charge at it. "Whirling assult!" She shout as she gave it a barrage of slashes. "Takato unleash your power." She said. "Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I said as I use my ShiKai. Flames gather around my sword. "Moeru talho!" I shout as I thrust it forward and shot a fire blast at the monster. It cry out as it fall into the hole it came out of. It was over. "You were able to use the Aspirixis." Jude said as he look at her. Milla then fell into Leia arms. "Goodness, this is some device you humans came up with." Milla said. "How bad the pain?" I ask. "It consirable." she said. "I'm sorry I should have been more careful." Leia said sadly. "But you retrieve the spirit fossil for me, if anything I'm in your debt." Milla said. "Thanks." Leia said.
"Let get back to town." Jude said. "Yeah good call." I said as Jude got the wheelchair. At that Milla passes out. "Guess she reach her limit." I said as we got her in the chair. We soon left the mine and made our way back to town. We soon head for the clinic. Milla was starting to come to. "Raise and shine Milla." I said. We saw Mrs. Mathis running to us. She went and hug Jude, asking if he was ok. This make think about my mom. Jude!" A voice shout as we see a brown hair man came over. He then slap Jude across the face. Basture oh he so going to get it. "What if something happen to the girls, did you even think at all before charging in." He shout. "I did whatever I could to help unlike you Dad." Jude said. "Oh burn." I said as Dr. Mathis glare at me. Wroth it. He then try to slap Jude again until Milla stood in his way. "Please don't be hard on him, he did well to accomplish his task." She said.
"Your on your feet." The doctor said. "Thanks to these three." Milla said. "Try not to over do it. Now hurry back into your chair." Leia said as Milla sat down. "Darling." Mrs. Mathis said. Dr. Mathis nod. "Leia take her to the clinic at once." He said as they walk away. "I'll leave the rest to you guys i'm heading to the Inn." I said. "Thanks for the help Takato." Jude said. "No prob." I said as I head for the Inn. Now to focus on finding Erika.

Leia: Some time has past as Milla recover, when the rest of Jude's friends show up. They decide to help Milla on some mission. Being the curious girl I am and the push someone I decide to tag along with them. Wait were doing what! Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 9: The lord of Lakutam. Yee ya there.
And done, man this was a long one. Milla is back on her feet and we got to see another tamer Kenta. Again sorry for the long update like I said I was busy. Stay tune for the next chapter. This been Crimson Dragonic blazing out.
