"It's a week into her new job as a massage therapist for the WWE, that Anna is found in her own joined office/clientele room. While the room isn't huge, it's big enough to divide her office and massage table by a curtain.
"Sitting at her desk, deep in thought while working on organizing her clients appointments, which at the moment is very scarce, Anna is startled by a knock on the door.
"Come in," she says loud enough for the person on the other side of the door to hear.
"The door opens slowly and in pops the brunette head of Anna's boss Stephanie McMahon, a smile painted on her face. "How are doing so far? I know it's only been a week, but I wanted to check up on you and see how you were holding up," she says, walking into the office, closing the door behind her.
"Stephanie! I've been doing just fine, thank you. It's obviously been a little slow, which is expected, but I'm slowing getting appointments in. I actually have one in about 15 minutes with Natalya. I watched her match last week and the number that Asuka did on her was not pretty."
"Anna did try to do her research on all of the wrestlers, which show they were on and their techniques so she could help them as best she could, "Hopefully I'll be able to help her out in some way," she continues, making her way over to the massage table she has set up.
"I'll leave you to it then," Stephanie smiles and opens the door to leave, but is greeted with a wall of muscle staring back at her.
Hearing a voice that clearly didn't belong to Stephanie, Anna turns her head in the direction of the door and sees Stephanie cross paths with who she recognizes as Drew McIntyre/AKA: Drew Galloway. He was one of, if not, the best looking wrestler that WWE has on their roster. She's watched plenty of his matches and has to admit that he is one badass in the ring and means no nonsense; he is all business, but by God if he doesn't look amazing at the same time. Not to mention his ring attire. Anna blushes at her thoughts and quickly looks away to regain herself before turning her attention back to the interaction between both hers and Drew's boss.
"Drew," Stephanie acknowledges as she passes him through the doorway.
"Ms. McMahon," Drew replies before closing the door behind him.
Anna doesn't take her eyes off of him until he lifts his piercing blue eyes to her own brown ones that she quickly composes herself and resumes her task of setting up for her appointment with Natalya.
"Hi Drew, what can I do for you?" Anna asks him, finally putting her full attention on him, trying to ignore the fact that he wearing close to nothing. The look on his face is one of surprise, probably because he didn't expect Anna to know who he was.
"You know who I am," he says, his Scottish accent making itself known. It's not a question, but more so a statement.
"I do," Anna replies with a smile on her face, "I've done a lot of research of all the wrestlers so I know who to put one's face with to their name. There are a lot of you and I don't want to be screwing up any of your names; that would be embarrassing. I'm Anna by the way, but I'm sure you knew that by the nameplate on the outside of the door."
She earns herself a chuckle from the Scotsman, "I guess that is a good thing, I suppose and yes, I did gather that was your name by the nameplate on the door," Drew grins, stepping a little bit further into the somewhat small room, forcing Anna to tilt her head up so she can see his face.
Watching his eyes roam her facial features and down her body, then back up, it doesn't take Anna long to pick up on the fact that he just blatantly checked her out. When his eyes land back on hers, he is met with the raise of an eyebrow from Anna, realizing what he just did.
"Christ, I apologize Anna," Drew says, embarrassed by being caught. He couldn't help himself; she was…is one of the most beautiful women he's ever laid his eyes on, with her brown eyes and black hair that sits just below her jawline, it was worth getting caught admiring her beauty. He knew of her since learning about her hiring as of last week and hearing that she was one of the best massage therapists in the business, he needed to check her out.
"It's alright, Drew," Anna smirks at his obvious embarrassment of being caught, but lets it go because she did the same thing to him not even 2 minutes earlier. Granted he had no idea that she was admiring his physique. "What can I help you with?"
"I was really hoping that you would be available later on today. As I'm sure you know, I have a match with Roman Reigns in a little while and he likes to do a number on me. If I don't have something done about it soon after, my back and shoulder muscles tighten on me and they hurt like a bitch," Drew says, running a hand through his long dark hair.
"I don't think that should be a problem. I have an appointment with Natalya in about 10 and then I have one with Finn Balor at 1:00pm. You did a number yourself on him last week, then again, I know you two aren't exactly fond of each other," Anna says, a look of amusement forming on her face at the series of reactions that Drew had to just hearing Finn's name.
"Yeah, let's not talk about that," Drew replies with a comical roll of his eyes, "that little leprechaun embarrassed the hell out of me 2 weeks ago, hence what I did to him last week," he finally smirks in revelation of the match.
Anna bursts out laughing at Drew's comment of Finn and a look of amused confusion crosses his features. "You just called him a leprechaun and it was very fitting. Please just don't tell Finn I said that," she pleads, still trying to catch her breath from laughing so hard.
"Glad I could make you laugh at the expense of him, but I promise not to say anything," Drew winks, causing Anna to blush. Just then, there is a knock on the door and it soon opens to reveal Natalya, who is quick to wear a suspicious but knowing look on her face.
"Shit, it's already 10:00am," Anna exclaims lightly before looking back up at Drew, "what time is your match?" She asks.
"It's at 5:00pm," he responds looking behind him to find Natalya staring at him with a smirk upon her face. He ignores it before looking back down at Anna.
"How is 6:00pm, then; does that work for you?" Anna questions a little flustered, finally noticing the proximity that Drew is to her. She didn't realize how close he had become to her with how in tune she was to him.
"That's perfect; see you later, Anna," Drew winks at her before passing Natalya and walks out the door.
As Anna watches Drew leave the room, Natalya watches her every move, like a predator stalking it's prey. It's how she became the wrestler she is today. Once the door closes behind Drew, Anna looks over at Natalya who has a raised eyebrow and a smirk gracing her beautiful face.
"What?" Anna squeaks out, looking for something, anything to distract herself but fails to do so, causing Natalya's smirk to turn into a shit eating grin.
"You are so into him!" Natalya accuses almost excitedly with the point of a finger and Anna is quick to deny her accusation with the shake of the head.
"Then why are you blushing more red than Becky's hair? Hmm?" Natalya teases, walking further into the room and next to Anna.
"Uhh, I'm a female and have you seen him? He's like a Scottish Adonis," Anna argues before realizing what she had just said. Covering her mouth and wide-eyed, Anna looks at Natalya like a deer caught in headlights.
"Oh my god, please do not let that leave this room; he cannot find out that I said that," she begs Natalya whose grin gets even bigger, if that is even possible.
"Okay, okay. I give," Natalya relents, lifting her hands in the air as a truce. "I promise you that he won't find out about this. I gotta stay true to my own and besides, I couldn't do that to you. I may not know you yet, but you seem like a nice girl; I like you," Natalya smiles at Anna, "although, I don't blame you," she continues and Anna throws her a confused look. "Drew is extremely attractive. He has half of the Diva roster fawning over him, but he doesn't even notice any of them," she says with a shrug of the shoulders.
"You're shitting me, right?" Anna responds, not wanting to believe a word of what Natalya just said. There is just no way.
"Not in the slightest. However, I've never seen him look at any of the girls the way he did you just now. I mean he sees them but he doesn't look. You on the other hand…" Natalya lets the sentence hang.
Still failing to want to believe a word of it, Anna shakes her head, "strip down to what is most comfortable for you and I'll be back over in a moment," she orders Natalya before closing the curtain, putting her attention back onto her schedule for the week.
If what Natalya said was true, about how Drew was looking at her, Anna doubts that anything would come of it anyway. Not dwelling on it any further, she lets the thought go. The only thing she can do is admire him from afar.
Anna closes her schedule book when Natalya calls out that she is ready. Heaving a big sigh, she makes her way to the opposite side of the curtain, putting the events from the last 15 minutes and Drew in the back of her mind.
"Alright, where do you want me to focus on the most?"
It's already well past midday and the session with Finn has come and gone. Everything is changed, cleaned, prepped and ready for when Anna has her appointment with Drew. Now that she has nothing to do but wait really, Anna goes back to thinking about the handsome Scotsman, letting him consume her every thought. Of course he is gorgeous as hell and you could get lost looking into the blue pools of his eyes, but thats where it ends. She knows absolutely nothing about him except what the internet tells her.
Needing to put her mind on something else, Anna casually makes her way to catering to grab something to eat. She hasn't eaten anything since this morning and it's starting to catch up with her. As if on cue, her stomach grumbles loudly in the empty hallway.
"Sounds like someone is hungry," says a voice, laced with humor that Anna has already come to know all to well for her own good behind her, startling her out of her thoughts.
"Jesus, Drew; you scared the shit outta me," Anna yelps, her hand resting on her racing heart as she spins around at the sound of his voice.
"Sorry about that, love; I didn't mean to frighten you," comes Drew's apology, wearing a genuine smile on his lips. He is finally dressed in gym shorts and one of his shirts that has 'McIntyre' written across the top in large lettering with the sleeves cut off, turning it into a tank top.
"No, it's alright. I was lost in thought when you decided to sneak up behind me," Anna replies with a teasing tone to her words.
"Ahh, thinking about me, were ya?" Drew rebuts with a teasing tone of his own, paired with a playful look in his eye. Anna will never get tired of hearing his voice, considering now that she will most likely be around him a lot more.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you," Anna retorts in amusement, patting Drew on his bicep. Even though he hit the nail right on the head, she's not about to let him learn that bout of information.
"Wishful thinking," Drew replies with a small shrug and Anna rolls her eyes in good nature and continues to make her way into catering with Drew hot on her tail.
"So what brings you into catering?" Anna asks Drew, looking at the time on her phone, "your match is in just a little over 2 hours." Picking up a pre wrapped chicken salad sandwich, a bag of chips and a bottled water, Anna pays for her food and sits at the nearest available table.
"Believe it or not, I myself am hungry," Drew replies holding up a bowl of fruit salad, sitting across from Anna, "it's not enough to satisfy me, but I don't want to go into a match on a full stomach," he continues and a cringing look crosses over his face at the thought, "not fun."
Anna involuntarily snorts at Drew's expense and covers her mouth, mortified at the sound that just escaped her, in front of someone she hardly knows no less. A look of pure amusement develops on Drew's face as he tries desperately to hold in the laugh that wants to break free.
"Don't you dare laugh," Anna threatens pathetically at Drew with the point of a finger, even though she knows she wouldn't be able to do a thing to him because of his size.
Shaking his head, Drew releases a snort of his own, causing the both of them to laugh out louder than intended, catching the attention of those around them.
Being completely oblivious to those around him, his only focus being on the girl across from him, Drew doesn't realize the audience they have attracted. This being considered that the personality coming from Drew is the last thing anyone in the WWE would ever see come from the superstar.
The one presence that will make Drew pay, sits only a few tables away and Dolph Ziggler knows exactly what he will do to make sure that happens.
