Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla. We have reach the end of arc 2. They may be short, but I'm breaking them up base on what point in the game we get too. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the gang enter the clans tournament to get the wyverns they need. Mean while Takato met up with Argo, who inform him of Giland. She told him that Giland is the leader of a group call Exodus who mission is to kill Milla. When the gang make it to the finals, trouble found them again as they survive being poison. It was here Milla reveal the truth about Exodus and how their Spyrixes are killing spirits. Not to mention they discover that Alvin was working for Exodus. They try to use this to counter Exodus plan to kill Milla in the final match. But it backfire when Elize and Teepo were taken by Exodus. They were the real targets the whole time. While the others deal with the Exodus agents in the arena, Takato and Alvin rush to the Labari hollow to rescues their captive friends.

Chapter 12
Elize and Teepo
Takato POV: Damnit why did this happen. We thought Exodus were trying to kill Milla, but they took Elize and Teepo instead. Question is why the thou, what so importment about those two? I'll worry about it later, right now I need to hurry. I use flash step to rush out of Xian du and into the royal hunting grounds. The hunting grounds this place is where the kings of Auj Oule come to test themselves. I been here a few times with my father to train. "So why you think they took the child and the doll?" ask Moeru Ryu. "I'm not sure, we thought Milla was their target. We'll find out once we find them. Hopefully Uncle Alvin found them in time." I said as I came to the end of the hunting grounds and saw Labari hollow. From what I heard of this place, it was an old mine that been stud down for years. It mostly a deep pit with some wooden bridges. I went in and went to the first bridge. But I soon stop as I saw a cloak figure standing in the way. "Who are you?" I ask as he threw off his cloak to reveal himself
He wore a black bodysuit with sliver armor on his chest, forearms, shins and shoulders. He has a red bandana on his right arm. He wore a sliver helmet to hide his face. In his hands were a pair of tonfas with barrels on the end, witch mean it a weapon similar to Alvin's. "About time Takato." He said. "So you know my names, most likely from when you creeps were spying on us. But I'm afraid I don't know yours." I said as I draw my sword. He chuckles. "Where are my manners, Sliver of Exodus at your service. I must stay I wait a long time to meet you. I heard your quite skill." He said. "You trying to sweet talk me, sorry I don't swing that way man." I said getting a laugh out of him. "You think your cute." He said. "Bitch please I 'm adorable." I said as I grin at him. I then turn serious. "Now enough pillow talk, where are my friends!" I demand. "You mean Alvin and the girl? They're in there." He said as he point at a lower level. I look down to see some guards at a door.
"Of course you have to get past me first." He said as he aim his tonfas at me. I raise my sword to him. "Fine by me I'm in a bad mood, I could use a workout." I said.
Takato vs Sliver
Sliver open fire on me as I dash at him. One of his shots cut my cheek as I got close. "Slash wing!" I shout as I swung at him. He use his tonfa to block me, he then swung the other one at my head. I move back to dodge. "Fang thrust!" I shout as I stab my sword at him. Sliver duck as he then swung his leg at my side. I quickly use my sword to block as sparks came off. I jump back and stand on the bridge railing. He did the same as we ran at each other. We strike at one another. This guy good I'll give him that. "Beast!" I shout as I form a red dragon head. It bite at him as he dodge in time as it took a bite out of the bridge. "Not bad, but I'm better." He said as he saw me in front of him. "No your not Hado # 31 Shakkaho!" I shout as I shot a red energy ball at his chest. It sent him rolling across the bridge. He groan as he pull himself up , his chest plate burn. "Ah shit it a good thing I'm wearing armor." He said. "Any last words?" I ask. "Sorry but our play time is over, here a parting gift just for you Takato." Sliver said as he toss a wrap object to me.
I caught and open it. It look like an old pair of goggles. They were yellow with blue lens and had a black strap. "They feel familiar." I said getting a sense of nostalgia from them. "You should they are yours after all. Erika said to give them to you, hoping it might help you wake up." He said. "Erika so your involve with her, them your going to tell me what you know about her and me!" I shout at him. "Sorry can't right now, I gotta run. Till next time Takato." He said as he jump of the bridge. I ran to the edge to see he was gone. Great he got away. I look at the goggles. "These are mine huh, another piece of the puzzle I guess." I said as I put them away. There no time to worry about this, I need to find the others. I jump from the bridge to land on the second level. The guards look at me. "Sup guys." I said as I quickly cut them down. "Takato!" I heard Jude said as he and the others came running. I smirk at them. "Jeez guys what took you so long?" I ask them.
"Sorry Yurgen use his clan to find out where you guys went. Did you find out where Elize and Alvin are?" He ask. "Yeah there in here." I said. "Let hurry." Leia said as we went in. When we got inside we saw Elize was kneel to an immobile Teepo. Alvin was laying against a crate, while one of the Exodus agents lay on the ground dead. Alvin look like he was hurt. "Alvin pull yourself together." Jude said. "Hmph the whole gang all here, I thought this was up to me." Alvin said. "I'll heal you right a way." Jude said as he got to work. "Elize." Leia said as the two of us went over to her. Elize got up and hug Milla. "What should I do?" She ask as she cry. "What wrong?" Milla ask. "You don't look hurt." I said. "And look Teepo here too." Leia said as she pick him up. "Hey let play but first give me a name." He said. He kept just repeating that. "What going on?" I ask. "One of the Exodus agents rip something out of Teepo and tht all he been saying ever since." Alvin said.
"So he really was just a machine along, a toy." Jude said. "A toy?" Ask Elize. "Yeah a stuff animal design to move and talk on it own." He said. "He wasn't a toy he my friend." Elize cry. "Alvin what happen to the Exodus agents?" Milla ask. "I kill one of them, while the others gave me the slip." He said. We saw Milla went over to some kind of object on the ground and crush it with her foot. "What about Teepo?" Ask Elize. "It we can get back what ever they took from him, maybe he can go back to normal." Jude said. "It worth a try." I said. "When did the Exodus agents leave?" Milla ask. "Ages ago." Alvin said. Milla look to me. "Did you see anything when you arrive?" She ask. "Only this one guy call Sliver, I bet he was stalling me while his buddy got away." I said. "Then the trail is cold. Trying to retrieve whatever they took would be a waste of time, we need to get moving." Milla said. "But couldn't you do both can't you help?" Elize ask.
"If you wish to search for Exodus, I won't stop you. But that means we'll to part ways." Milla said. "Don't worry Elize I'll help you out." I said. "You will?" She ask. "Of course." I said as I smile at her. "Very well let get back to the city." Rowen said. We left the cavern and start our way to the first level of the mine. We found a pack of wolves waiting for us. "Get back!" I shout as we got ready for a fight. "Heel you dogs heel." A voice said as someone jump down. It was Jiao. "Apologies if my pets frightened you, I ran into some poachers." He said. He then look at Elize. He let out a sigh. "I see you finally return to this place child." He said sadly. "You remember it do you?" He ask. "What he talking about?" Jude ask. "This is the lab where the little lady was raise." Alvin said. "What!" I shout shock. "The laboratory have been abandoned for some time, ever since we had that intruder." Jiao said. "I take that intruder was you Alvin?" Milla ask. "Woman intuition huh? I was investigating the Boosters they were making here." He said.
"What a Booster?" Jude ask. "A gadget developed by Auj Oule to ramp up mana generated by the mana lobe. Elize is actually holding one right now Teepo. The spud is apparently a 3rd generation Booster." Alvin said. "For real?" I ask. "So your just a gadget Teepo?" Elize ask him. He floated in front of her. "You have name me Teepo, please to meet you." He said. "A Booster read the mind of it owner and speak aloud his or her true thoughts." Jiao said. "So all this time Teepo was just saying what been on Elize's mind." I said. "That not true Teepo was talkin on his own." Elize said. "Teepo you might be a machine, but your still my friend?" She ask. "Nope I'm just a machine Elize." He said. "No your my friend!" She shout. "No you are mistaken I'm just a device that verbalize your thoughts." He said. "I'm sorry Elize." I said feeling bad for her. Teepo turn to look at Jiao. "Tell us big guy, where are little lonely Elize mommy and daddy?" He ask.
Shit did not expect that. Jiao turn to look away. "They're no longer with us." He said. "What?" Elize ask on the verge of tears. "When you were just four years old, your parents were attack by a bandit and were murder." He said as his head fell down. 'I'll never see them again? Not mother, not father, and not even Teepo." She said as she cry. "I know this is bad but-" Leia said as she got cut off by Elize. "You still have your family and friends!" She shout. "As if these people could ever stand how you feel." Teepo said as they then ran across the bridge. Leia went to chase after them. We heard a gun shot. 'Ah damn poachers again!" Shout Jiao. "Hold on, why was Elize at this lab?" Milla ask. "Well she was brought here, sold really. There was this woman who would gather up orphans and take them to the laboratory. What was her name?" He ask himself. "It was Isla right?' I ask. "Yes that it Isla." He said. "A poacher of children you might say." Alvin said. 'I have no right to tell you this, but please never let that child be alone again." Jiao said.
"We won't I promise. Jiao one more thing, who was in charge of the lab?" I ask. He look to flinch. "It was the late queen of Auj Oule." He said as he left to deal with the poachers. Mother was in charge of the lab. Why would she. I need to find out why. That when we heard an explosions' on the other side of the bridge. 'Let go!" Jude shout as we ran across it to help the girls. When we got there we saw what attack them. It was a large humanoid bug. It was cover in gold armor with purple markings on it. it has four arms with the upper two having drill for it hands. There was also one on it face. It look at us. "Howdy y'all, the name Digmon." He said. "Another talking monster?" Jude said. 'No your a Digimon aren't you?" I ask. 'Yes sir I am and your the tamer of the Hazard. I been looking for you." Digmon said. "Why is that I'm quite curious." I said. "It simple really my boss think your a threat to him. So he need me to rub you out." Digmon said. "And who is your boss as you put it?" Milla ask.
Digmon chuckles at her. "Sorry darling, not telling. You can't pull one over on me. Now you ready to draw partner." Digmon said as he got ready. "Alvin look after Elize." I said as we rush at Digmon.
Heroes vs Digmon
Jude ran for him. "Guess your first Gold rush!" Digmon shout as he shot his drill at Jude. Jude slide under them as he got close to him. "Dragon shot!" He shout as nail the bug with an uppercut. "Arrivedevci!" Shout Milla as she cause the wind to spiral around Digmon and lift him into the air, and drop him to the ground. Digmon then pull himself to his feet. "That wasn't nice, Rock cracking!" He shout as he slam his drills onto the ground causing a fissure to open toward us. We move just in the nick of time. "Tsunami strike!" Leia shout as she strike as Digmon right side. She then twirl her staff behind her and slam it into his left side. "Damn varmint." He said as he try to stab his drill arm at her. "Rock trine!" Rowen shout as rock spikes shot up and trap the bug. Digmon broke free soon after. "Your starting to annoy me Gold rush!" He shout as he shot his drills again. "Danku!" I shout as I put up a barrier to block it.
"Shit that it I'm ending this. Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to my ShiKai. "Tail whip!" I shout as I spun and slash Digmon across the chest leaving a gash in him. He cry out in pain. Now to finish this. "Nensho Surasshu!" I shout as I sent the flame slash and cut Digmon in half. His halves fall to the ground. "Damn guess lady luck wasn't on my side this time." He said as he start to dissolve just like Apemon. "Who sent you?" I ask. He chuckles. "Might as well tell you, all hail the seven!" He shout as he dissolve completely. 'The seven?" Leia ask. "Does that mean anything to you?" Milla ask me. 'I don't know, we'll worry about it later. Let head back to Xian Du." I said. "Good Idea." Alvin said as we left the mine. It didn't took us long to get back to town. "Something on your mind?" Milla ask Jude as he look at her. "You and Takato haven't been your selves since we spoke to Jiao." She said.
"Yeah." Jude said. "It nothing importment." I said as we saw Isla running to us. Ah just who I wanted to see. "I heard you follow the bad guys into the hunting grounds, I was worry." Isla said. "It was an eventful man hunt but we made it back in one piece." Leia said. "I'm sorry you all got dragged into this, what a horrible coincidence." Isla siad. "Oh coincidence my ass, quit lying to us Isla!" I shout at her as she took a step back. "He right Isla, you can drop the act." Jude said. "What do you mean I really was worried about you. Why would I lie about that?" She ask. "Guys what are you saying?" Leia ask confuse. "Were sayin it was no coincidence that we met Isla." Jude said. "You guys remember what those locals told us when the bell rang for the finals? At tournament time any outsiders are either combatants or Spector's." I said. Isla start to look worry. "Right I recall what she said when she came to help us." Milla said. "Right after Exodus try to crush with that rock." I said with my arms cross. "She didn't need to ask us why we came to Xian Du." I said.
"You were order to make contact with us by Exodus." Jude said. "Isla that not true is it?" Leia ask. Isla head drop. "They said you never find out. They promise, but I had no choice in the matter." She said. "They blackmail you didn't they. They know about your secret." Jude said. "Your former occupation." Rowen said. "They ask wouldn't it be a shame if Yurgen found out. What happen to the girl Break my heart, but I had no choice back then. Please don't tell Yurgen." Isla said as she fell to her knees. "He doesn't know?" Milla ask. "How could I tell him he a good man." Isla said. "It all in the past, shouldn't your fiancé know these things?" Milla ask. "Your a woman how could you not understand this I'm damage goods." Isla said. "If he found out he'll leave me. I finally found happiness with Yurgen for once in my life. Please don't tell him." She said as she cry. "I doubt I'' understand human love, what should we do Elize you decide." Milla said to the girl.
"Why do I have to?" She ask. "She the cause of your pain because of what she did to you." I said. "There nothing I can do to make it up to you, but please forgive me." Isla beg. "I just don't care any more." Elize said as she walk away. "Elize is all alone now. No matter what you do." Teepo said. I saw Isla got up and walk away. 'W-we better try to and find Yurgen. We need to talk to him about the wyverns." Leia said. "Yeah good idea." I said as bI look at Elize. Today was nothing but a pain to us all. I'm sorry I couldn't help Elize.

Alvin: After the mess in Xian Du we head to Kalanbar to get the King permission to use the wyverns. A s we wait we deal with the fallout of what happen to Elize and Teepo. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 13: Feelings of home. Man what a pain.
And done. Man I feel bad for what happen to Elize. No kid should have to go through that. Any way this end arc 2. Next time will be the start of of arc 3 War. Til then this been Crimson Dragonic blazing out.
