Let hope that change guys. Anyway enough about that. This chapter may be a bit short since it a pit stop before Fennmount. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the gang was on good terms again as they head to the castle to speak with the king of Auj Oule. It was there the others learn that Takato was Auj Oule's prince. They use this on enter the castle to confront the king. There they learn that Jiao was a member of the Chimaerid. Soon after they met another member Wingul and Takato's father, Gaius. The gang question him about the Booster lab in Labari hollow. Although Takato wanted to know how his mother was involve. Wingul told the group that the queen started the lab to study children born with large mana reserves. It was after her death that Wingul turn it into the Booster lab. From there Gaius went into a speech about what it mean to achieve happiness.
But then he order Milla to give him the key to the lance of Kresnik. When she refuse, Alvin reveal to be working for Gaius the whole time. That Presa came in and said that Rashugal has attack Hamil. This cause the spark to start the war between the nations. The gang escape the castle but ended up fighting with Wingul and Presa. They over come them and were able to get out of the city. They then race back to Xian Du.

Chapter 15
The reaper oath
Takato POV: After what seem like for ever, we made it to Xian Du. Man that was a total disaster. We're lucky we got out of there. That when Jude spot Yurgen. "Careful word of our altercation in the capital may have preceded us." Rowen said. "Right let get those wyverns and get the hell out of here." I said. Yurgen look at us and came over. "How was your audience with the king?" He ask. "Enlightening." I said. "Partner it was a total shit storm and you know it." Moeru Ryu said. "Sorry we have to talk later, can we depart right away?" Milla ask. He look confused. "Well I guess that possible, You seem to be in a hurry." he said. "You have no idea." I said as I stop Teepo speaking. "No need to rush off gang." A familiar voice said. We turn to see Alvin was behind us. "Alvin!" Jude shout not happy to see him. "So should we expect the guards to show?" I ask. He smirk. "Nope, there on a wild goose chase in the mountains right about now." He said.
"You throw them off our scent, is this some sort of peace offering?" Milla ask firmly. Alvin look surprise. "What it only natural I help you, we're friends after all." He said. "Doubt that." I said. "Come on you don't believe me, I know you put your faith in me before." He said as he walk pass us. He put his arms around mine and Jude shoulders. "Would it kill you to give me another shot?" He said. "I guess not." Jude said. "Fine." I said. "Welcome back, I'm glad your safe." Elize said rudely as she glare at him. "Hehehe thanks you almost sound sincere." Alvin said. "If noting else Alvin brought us some time." Rowen said. "I ask what going on, but I don't want to know. You people sure have a lot of drama in your lives." Yurgen said. "You don't know the half of it." I said. "Well I'll be in front of the wyverns, come see me when your all ready." Yurgen said as he left. "It finally time, let not waste it." Milla said as we start to move. "Sensei, tell Urahara what going on and see if you can find out what happen to Hamil." I whisper to her.
"Be safe Takato." She said as she ran off. "Hey where your cat going Takato?" Leia ask. "It like I said Yoruichi tend to come and goes when ever she what to." I said. "She does seem to be a smart cat." Jude said. " Yeah she is, now anyway let get those wyverns." I said as we came to the wyverns cages. Yurgen soon saw us. "There you are, are you ready to head to Fenmount?" He ask. "We are." I said as we got on the wyverns. Jude got on one with Milla, Leia was with Rowen. Alvin was on his own and I had Elize and Teepo in my lap. "A-are you sure you can fly this?" Elize ask nervously. I flash her a grin. "Don't worry kiddo, I'm a professional." I said as I crack the wyvern reins and we took to the sky. As soon as we did I heard Jude cry out. Soon follow by Leia. I let out an insane laugh. "Hell yeah, I miss this!" I shout as I sped up. "Try to slow down please." Elize cry. "Help I think I'm gonna barf!" Teepo shout. "You do and your out of here!" I shout.
I soon pull us into the skyline above the clouds. As always it beautiful up here. "Quite the view huh?" I ask them. "It is." She said in wonder. "That when I saw something coming out of the clouds. It was a large green dragon like monster. It has four large wings, while it lower body was that of a long tail with a claw at the end. And lastly it has a yellow crest on it head. It let out a loud roar. "What the hell is that!" Alvin shout. "The Predtobonrec!" I shout. "The what?" Teepo ask. "A powerful sky monster. It better known as the king of the sky and it coming right at us!" I shout as we start to move faster. The Predtobonrec start to chase after us. "It right on our six!" Leia shout. "Everyone dive!" Jude shout as we dive into the clouds. I soon notice we were right over Sharilton. The Predtobonrec was still on our tails. It started shooting fire balls at us. One of them hit the wyvern that Jude and Milla was on, burning it wing. It cause them to make a crash landing in Sharilton.
We quickly land as I ran up to them. "You guys alright?" I ask. "Yeah." Jude said. "Watch out!" Milla shout as we saw the monster flew at us. It swung it wing at us. But Alvin jump in the way and took the hit for us and land near by. "You ok?" I ask. "No time to worry kid." He said as the monster came at us.
Heroes vs The Predtobonrec
"Cloud pierce!" Milla shout as she shot up to it and stab it in the wing. It swung to knock her back. "Homing shot!" Alvin shout as he shot the Predtobonrec in the back. "Swallow dance!" Jude shout as he did a barrage of spin kicks into it chest. The Predtobonrec roar and shot a fireball at us. Rowen and Elize quickly put up a shield arte to block it. "Rapid lunge!" Leia shout as she jump and thrust her staff into it side. The king of the sky use it tail to slap her way. It open it mouth to shoot at us. "Splash!" Rowen shout as he drop a water ball on it head to soak it mouth. "Teepo roar!" Elize shout as she sent Teepo to hit the Predtobonrec in the face. "Slash wing!" I shout as I cut into it back. This thing won't quit. "Damn it this thing tough, Leia get me to it face." I said. "Right." She said as she thrust her staff at me. I use it like a spring board to jump up and land on the Predtobonrec's face. "Eat this, Hado # 32 Sokasui!" I shout as I shot a blue energy ball into it face as it it exploded. The monster cry out as it fall backwards into the water.
"Yay we beat the king of the sky!" Teepo cheer. "That make me the new ruler." Leia said in a smug tone. "Should we call you Queen?" Elize ask. "No, she doesn't need a bigger head then she already has." I said. "Hey!" Leia shout as she glare at me. "Please no one panic. Women and children seek shelter in your homes." A familiar voice said. We look to see Driselle running up with a pair of guards. "All able body men to me." She said as she got ready to fight. She then saw us as me and Elize walk up to her. "Elly, Takato? What are you doing here?" She ask us. "I'm home." Elize said. "Hey Driselle long time no see." I said. "Young madam." Rowen said as he bow to her. "Everyone welcome back." She said. "Good to see you again." Jude said. "Uh nice to meet you I'm Leia." Leia said. "Sorry to alarm you." Milla said. "I heard all the commotion, I thought that Auj Oule was invading." Driselle said.
That when we saw Alvin fell to his knees. "You okay you took a hit when you save us." Jude said. "Seem like no big whoop at the time." Alvin said. "Help us carry him." Driselle said as the guards help Alvin to the manor. We decide to take a breather while Driselle have Alvin and the wyverns look at by a doctor. I was laying on the couch, I soon sat up when Driselle came in. "The horse trainer said the wyvern need time to recuperate. You all should get some rest in the city while you can." She said as she went to talk to a guard. "That may be best, we are on the eve of a great battle after all." Milla said. "With Nachtigal." I said. Finally I can avenge Cline. "Everyone should get enough rest as they can." Milla said. "Good Idea." I said as left and head to town. I went to the Plaza and sat by the water. Hard to Believe it almost over. "Yes I agreed." Moeru Ryu said. "Once Nachtigal and the lance are dealt with, we can head to Fezebel marsh to find out the truth of my visions." I said.
"You ok?" Jude ask as he sat next to me. "Just thinking." I said. "About what happen back in Auj Oule?" He ask. I chuckles at him. "Let see, we went to see my asshole of a dad to warn him. But that didn't turn out so well." I said. "Yeah it certainly back fire on us. That must have been hard for you." He said. "Not really Jude, I'm use to it. He been like that ever since my mom die." I said. "Alvin told us your mom was a sore subject for you." He said. "It fine Jude I don't mine talking about her." I said as I look at the sky. "So what was she like?" Jude ask. "My mother was very kind and very smart. She wanted to learn as much as she can, it why she came to this world from the Soul society the world where soul reapers come from. She was also a very strong soul reaper." I said. "Really." He said. "Yep, no one could beat her, even dad have a hard time keeping up with her. But then that day came." I said sadly. "You mean?" He ask. I nod.
"Yes, I was about 9, mom took me to the Mon highland to pick heart herbs. That when a hollow appear. But not just any hollow, a very dangerous one. It call the Kuro Ryuga the black dragon." I said. "The black dragon." Jude said. "That right, it a large black dragon on all fours. It has white armor on chest, legs, tail and wings. It also has a skull like mask like other hollows. This one been around for many years, it attack us and I got hurt." I said as I start to cry. "The hollow dive at me and my mom use her own body to protect me and she was kill." I said as I quickly dry my tears. "Lucky a friend of mom came to help and chase the hollow away. And on that day I made my oath." I said. "Your oath?" He ask. I took off my right glove to show him a jagged scar on the back of my hand. "The Kuro Ryuga gave me this when it hit me with it tail. "I said.
"I vow I would become strong enough one day, to hunt down Kuro Ryuga and slay him. That way he won't take anyone from me ever again, for this is my oath of vengeance." I said as I put my glove back on. "That explain how you act when Cline was kill." He said. "It show I need to get stronger I need to face Nachtigal." I said. "Well you won't be alone, I'm sure everyone are willing to help." He said. "You sure about that Jude? Even if you might die." I said. "It worth the risk if it mean helping a friend." He said. "Thanks, you really are a goody two shoes. Come on let get some rest." I said as we head back to the manor. Normal POV: As the two head back Erika come from around the corner. "So Takato is almost there." She said as she look to see Impmon behind her. "I heard about what happen in Hamil, I'm glad you all are alright." She said. "Same here gloomy, good thing me and cat boy were there when Rashugal show up. Of course it got close when that ice chick show up." He said. "Yes to think Exodus would have the power of a great spirit on there side." Erika said.
Impmon scoff as he put his hands behind his head. "Isn't Ryo suppose to tell us everything Exodus is doing. He is our spy in there ranks since he their boss's kid." He said. "True, but as Giland second in command Ryo is rarely far from Giland. Contacting him is difficult as it is. But it matters not Takato is on the verge of remembering who he is. Once he does we can start preparing for what is to come." She said. "You sure we can trust that guy?" Impmon ask. "We made a pact He is a spirit of his word. Now let us go." She said as the two start to move.

Takato: The time has come for us to return to Fenmount. At long last I will have the chance to make Nachtigal pay for what he did to Cline. But as fate would have it we ran into some trouble. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 16: The return to Fenmount. See you then.
