Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla. This will be the final chapter of this arc be fore we move on to the final arc. This might be a short chapter so sorry in advance. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the time has come to defeat Exodus once an for all. Our heroes have use the air ship they took control of to head to Exodus main base a ship call the E.S.S Zenethra that was station in the middle of the ocean. Getting onto to the ship wasn't easy, lucky Muzet regain her lost power and destroy much of Exodus forces. That gave the gang the chance they needed to get inside. Once there they encounter the Exodus agent Sliver, who was reveal to be one of the Tamers Ryo. It was thanks to his help they were able to move across the ship to reach the lance of Kresnik and Giland. The gang were able to defeat Giland and his Spirit Celsius. Giland went on about how unlike Spyrixes, Spyrites can with them use artes without consuming spirits and if could replace Spyrixes completely. But Giland was soon kill afterward by the Spyrite backlash effect.
Just when they thought everything was over the ship was surrounded by a gravity arte. Their only chance was to use the lance of Kresnik. Not wanting her friends to suffer, Mill took it upon herself to give the lance all her mana, killing herself in the process. Before the others could get to her the ship broke apart sending them into the water below.

Chapter 24
Lost our way
Takato POV: I cough up a bit of water as I pull my self to shore. "Shit that was way too close. Man why does it feel like I'm always getting wet like this." I said as Guilmon came up with Elize and Teepo on his back. "You guys ok?" I ask. "Were fine thanks to Guilmon." She said. "No problem Elizemon." Guilmon said. We saw Rowen and Leia came up next. "Well that was quite the experience." Rowen said. 'Man I'm all wet." Leia complain. "Be glad were still alive." I said as Jude and Alvin surface. "Look like we all made it." I said. 'Not all of us." Jude said sadly. I put my hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry Jude, I know what it like to lose someone important to you." I said. "Does the pain ever goes away?' He ask. "In time we just got to keep moving forward." I said. "So where did we end up?' Leia ask. "By the look of it Ahadi." I said. "Hm Takato where Ryo?" Elize ask. "Chances are he wash up some where else, but knowing him I'm sure he ok." I said.
'I don't understand." Alvin said suddenly as he look at the sky. "Understand what?" Rowen ask. "Why is it still up, the Schism it should be gone." Alvin said. I blink. "He right it still there." I said. "How can you tell." Jude said. "An arte powerful as the Schism would need an extreme amount of mana to divide the worlds. When Milla die the mana should have been release and the barrier remove." I said. "But it still there, does that mean she still alive?" Jude ask. "No Jude there was no way she could live through that." I said as I cross my arms. "Then how do you explain the Schism still being here?" Rowen ask. "I don't know. But I bet who does know Muzet." I said. "Muzet how are we suppose to find her?" Alvin ask. 'Let head to Nia Kiera, I bet the elder there might know something about her." I said. "But for now we should rest at the Inn." Rowen said. 'Good Idea." Leia said as we head for the Inn
Once inside the others head to there rooms while I sat in the lobby. "Hello Takato." A voice said. I look up to see it was Jeri. "Do you remember me?" He ask. 'Everything since our days in the park. It good to see you again. I'm glad your ok. I heard about the attack on Hamil." I said. "It was thanks to Impmon and Liollmon, they were able to get most of the villagers out in time. Did you see Erika yet?" She ask. "Not since what happen in Fezebel marsh, why?' I ask. 'She came to see us earlier, told us it best to hide out at your mentor Urahara shop for awhile." Jeri said. "How come?' I ask. "She said the Tamers are being target by something and that was it. Were bound for the next ship to Lakutam." She said. "I see well it was good talking to you be safe Jeri." I said. "Same to you Takato." She said as she walk away. I then head to my room to get some sleep. The next morning we met by the gate and started our way to Hamil.
When we got there we saw that the town was wreck. Buildings were smash down and trees were tore from the ground. "Man this place got hit hard." Leia said. "It horrible." Elize said sadly. I knee to her. 'I know seeing this is hard for you, but we must stay strong. We need to get to Nia Kiera." I said. "Ok." She said. We head out to the town and into the Gaila trail and then into the Sea falls. As we walk through the falls Rowen turn to me. "Takato what do you think we will find once we reach Nia Kiera?" He ask. "Like I said, we will ask the elders on what they know about Muzet and where she might be. But more importantly why the Schism is still up." I said. I sigh. 'It sucks you know, I wanted to go to Elympios to find Rika." I said. "It you don't mind me asking, but what she like?" Leia said. I stop walking for a sec. "Rika well it hard to say, when we first met she and her partner Renamon attack us." I said as they all look at us.
"Wait what." Jude said. "Yeah see back then Rika believe the only person she could trust was herself. She even treated Renamon who is like a sister to her like a tool. I was able to show her there was nothing wrong with trusting others. Eventually I got her to open up. Doing so Rika became a kind soul who would do anything for her friends. Not to mention if you piss he off she will beat your ass into an inch of your life. She can be scary when she angry." I said with a chuckle. "She must be some girl." Alvin said. "She is Uncle she means the world to me." I said. 'It appear we have arrive at the village." Rowen said as we enter Nia Kiera. But what we saw shock us. Several of the villagers lay dead on the ground. "By the spirits what happen here." Jude said. "Who could have done this?" Elize ask. "Why I did of course." A voice said. We look up to see Muzet floating above us. "Muzet but why?" Leia ask confuse. "It was her goal after all right Muzet." I said as the spirit smile at us. "Her goal what do you mean kid?" Alvin ask.
"When the lance first fire in the marsh, a ball of gravity appear and crush the Exodus ships and close the rift. That when Muzet appear, I was wary of her from the start. It grew stronger when we attack the Zenethra when She use the same arte to subbosely save us from Exodus. It was there I knew she was a threat." I said. "But she came and help us." Leia said. 'It was all a trick to gain our trust. Don't you guys remember what happen after we beat Giland? We got hit with a gravity base arte on the ship. That was your doing Muzet you were trying to kill us!" I shout at the spirit. "Yes it was I'm surprise you figure out my plan too bad you acted too late on it." Muzet said. "But why?" Elize ask. 'Because it is my mission to remove anyone who know about the Schism, like the village here." Muzet said. 'So you try to kill us, then what about Milla and her mission she die for it!" Jude shout.
Muzet start to laugh at us. "What so funny?" I ask. "Because Milla mission is a lie." She said. "A lie." I said shock. "That right a lie. She believe all because she isn't the real Maxwell." Muzet said. "She not Maxwell?" Alvin ask. 'That right, 20 years ago Exodus enter this world. So lord Maxwell came up with a plan to create a decoy to lure then out. So Milla die for nothing but a lie." She said mocking Milla sacrifice. "Byakurai!" I shout as I shot a lighting bolt that went past her head leaving a small cut on her right cheek. "You stud your fucking mouth you Bitch!" I shout enrage. Muzet wipe the blood away as she look at us. "Perhaps it time to deal with all of you now. Since you know about the Schism." She said as she then glare at me. "Starting with you and your pet. You don't belong in this world in the first place. Then I'm gonna kill all your little Tamers pals as well." She said. "Guys get out of here, I'll handle Muzet." I said.
"But that insane!" Leia shout. "Don't worry this isn't any thing we can't handle, now go!" I shout. "Right be safe." Rowen said as they retreated. I look at Muzet. "Ok bitch come and get us!" I shout as me and Guilmon ran with with Muzet on our tail. We lure her to the Xaqut flood meadow. "What do we do Takato?' Guilmon ask. ' We haven't recover enough to fight, most of all to fight someone like Muzet. But don't worry boy I have a plan." I said as we came to the river. We turn around to see Muzet behind us. 'Well it look like to be the end of the road for you and your little pet Takato." She said as she held up a gravity ball. I smirk at her. "Not quite Raikoho!" I shout as I shot a lighting blast at her. She move to the side as my attack hit a near by cave. "Is that all?" She ask. I smirk at her. "Nope, hey Muzet do you know what my favorite hobby is monster hunting." I said as she look confuse. "It harder then most people think. Most of al when tracking them down. But I know where most are, like the one I just woke up." I said as we heard a loud roar.
We watch as a bronze color version of the Predtrobronic came crawling out of the cave. "Meet the Siennbronic have fun now." I said as the monster tackle the spirit. "You damn brat, I will make you pay for this" She shout as she try to fight the Siennbronic off. "Come on boy." I said as we went to a boat that was dock near by. We got on and sail away as we heard explosions in the back ground. We follow the river until we came to Xian Du. I let out a breath of relief. "Shit that was way too close. Let hope that buy the others enough time to get a way." I said. "Ok boy let go somewhere to rest." I said. "Okie doki." He said. We made our way to Urahara shop, there we saw Ururu. "Hello mr Takato welcome back." She said as she greet us. "Hey Ururu just here to see Urahara." I said as we head in side. I found Urahara sitting at the table with Yoruichi. "Hello Takato glad to see you made it out alive.' Urahara said. "No thanks to you bucket head." I said as I sat down.
"So this is Guilmon, quite an interesting friend you have." He said. "I fill Keisuke in on everything we learn." Yoruichi said. "Yes the Schism, Elympios and your past life." He said. I sigh. "Well there more to it then that now.' I said. I started to fill them in on everything that happen on the ship and with Muzet. "Hm, so Milla was a decoy made by the real Maxwell to draw out Exodus. Mean while Muzet plan to kill everyone who know about the Schism." Urahara said. "It a total mess." I said. "So what do you plan to do now Takato?" Yoruichi ask. "1st I'm gonna find my friends and take down Muzet. Urahara is it possible for you to find a way through or dispel the Schism?" I ask him. He cup his chin. "That a tall order Takato. The lance is most likely your best bet. But from what you told us it sank to the bottom of the ocean. But I'll see what I can do." He said. "Alright I'll leave it to you." I said as I got up. "Also some friends of mine will be coming to hide out for a while." I said.
"They'll be in good hands take care Takato." Yoruichi said as We walk out.
One week later
A week have past since the fall of Exodus. We been doing what we can to avoid being found by Muzet, no doubt she is still hunting us. I was cover by a cloak while Guilmon was in my D-arc. Thanks goodness for the storage function. I just enter into the ruins of Hamil. It wasn't long until I saw some one coming, it was Jude. "Jude!" I shout causing him to jump and took a battle stance. "Stay back or I" He said. "Woah take it easy Mister goodie two shoes it me." I said as I lower my hood. "Takato oh man I'm so glad to see your ok." He said as his shoulder drop in relief. "Same to you, is any of the others here with you?" I ask. "Just Leia but she recovering." He said. "What happen Muzet?' I ask. "No Alvin, He attack us because he was upset about the Schism was still up." He said sadly. "I s-see we'll have to deal with that later." I said. Damnit Alvin what got into you. 'Where Guilmon?" Jude ask. "In my D-arc, thought it was best not to draw attention to ourselves. How long till Leia good to move around?" I ask.
"She should be ready to go now." Jude said. "Ok let go see her." I said as Jude took me to the house that Elize once live in. I realize Guilmon as Leia came out she was holding her side. She saw us and gave us a weak smile. "Takato, Guilmon hey." She said. "Heard what happen, glad to know that your ok." I said. "Yeah you too." She said. "Is it true, did Alvin shoot you?" I ask. " Yes he said it was his only way home." She said. "Most likely Muzet lies." I said. "Where is he now?" I ask. "No clue he just took off." Jude said. "So what are plan now?" I ask as I rub the back of my head. "We are going to look for the real Maxwell." Jude said. I raise an eyebrow. 'The real Maxwell you sure?" I ask. "Yes Muzet said Milla was bait to protect the Schism" Jude said. "Mean while someone else was using Milla as a decoy. That does make sense, so how do we find him." I said. "We have to find Muzet, I bet she knows." Leia said. "But she can be anywhere, and it not like I can sense her." I said. "And she scary." Guilmon said.
"I was thinking about searching for Ivar." Jude said. I gave him a deadpan look. "Really? Ah fine, but if he doesn't help I'm kicking his ass." I said. "Jude" A voice said as Teepo latch onto his face. I saw Elize and Rowen heading for us. "Elize went and hug Leia. "You came all this way just for us." Leia said. "Of course. we did." Elize said with a smile. "We heard that Muzet have been attacking Exodus an Elmpion soldiers, and we grew concern for your safety." Rowe said. "She never try to track you down?: I ask. "We been on the run, so far we manage to eluded her." He said. "Alvin found us." Jude said. "You found big fat liar." Teepo said. "Yes we did." Leia said as they explain what happen with Alvin. "I see, I'm sad to heard that. What will you 3 do now?" Rowen ask. "We're going to find Maxwell." Jude said. "We can see Milla again?" Elize ask. "No, Jude believe there a real Maxwell out there." Leia said.
"I see, I that thought never occurred to me although it would make sense." Rowen said. "If you elimate the impossible whatever remains however improbable must be the truth right." I said. "Indeed." He said. "Anyway we plan on finding Ivar 1st." Leia said. "We'll deal with Muzet later." I said. "Jude Takato have you heard about Gaius?" Rowen ask. "What about my father?" I ask. "For whatever reason he began a large scale operation in Fenmount. It caught Muzet's attention, she made several attacks on him." Rowen said. "Then I guess that our first step." I said. "I'm coming to." Elize said as Rowen nod showing he coming too. "You guys sure about this?" Jude ask. "We want to know if Milla was a phony or not." Teepo said. "Although that doesn't change the fact she our friend." Elize said. "I have my own reason for meeting with Gaius." Rowen said. 'Next stop Fenmount." I said. "Thanks guys." Jude said as we head to the sea heaven.
