Hello and welcome back to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla. Today we are starting the final arc of the story. What better way to start it off then with a two parter. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the gang make out of the sinking ship mourning the lost of Milla. But that would have to way when they discover that the Schism was still active regardless of Milla death. Wanting to know why they venture out toward the village of Nia Kiera in hope to learn anything from the village elders. But they got a nasty surprise when they reach the village. They discover that the villagers were kill by Muzet. Takato reveal that the arte that was use to destroy the Zenethra was the same one that he seen Muzet use before. They ask Muzet why she did that, she claim it was her mission to anyone who knew of the Schism existence. What more Muzet told them that Milla wasn't the real Maxwell. She was a decoy create to lure out Exodus. From there she try to kill the group if not for Takato buying time for them to escape. After losing Muzet Takato made his way to Urahara shop to plan out his next move.
A week have past when he came to the ruins of Hamil to find Jude and Leia. He learn that Alvin have attack them if attempt to return to Elympios. It was long when Elize and Rowen came to reunited the group decide to find the Real Maxwell to learn the truth about Milla. Rowen inform them that Gaius has been running an operation in Fenmount that gotten Muzet attention. They decide that will be their next step.

The road to Maxwell part 1
Takato POV: After a few hours at sea we finally arrive at Fenmount. I'm curious as to why father is here and what this operation he doing. We hop off the ship and into the sea heaven. "We made it." Jude said. "Yeah now let try to find my father, we should start with the plaza." I said as we head into town. But once we got there we see people running as a Elympion soldier was going nuts. 'What going on?" Jude ask. "This is terrible." Leia said. "And unfortunate, not surprising Elympion soldiers are popping up in cities across Rieze Maxia." Rowen said. "Because Giland is gone?' Leia ask. "that and because they don't know what to do now." I said. "Stay back, so help me don't make me hurt you!" The Elympion shout as he wave his weapon around. Has he gone nuts. "He scare is it because of Muzet?" I ask. "She been swatting them like flies." Teepo said.
I saw the soldier aim at a kid. I shot a Byakurai at him to knock him to the ground. Soon a pair of guards appear and grab the soldier. "Freeze all of you." One said to us. That when we see my father. "So you survive after all." He said. "Of course." I said. "Throw him in a cell." Father order as the soldier was taken away. He turn to the guard that try to arrest us. "My son and his friends are with me." He said as she lower her weapon. "Wow Gaius when did you start to order around the Rashugal troops?" Leia ask. "Everyone in Rashugal succumbed to terror and panic after Nachtigal death. I led them from the chaos." He said. "So what your the king of Rieze Maxia now." I said as I roll my eyes. Father gave a rare smirk. " I am not certain of yet." He said. "What exactly are you doing in Fenmount?" Rowen ask. "We are working with the Rashugal military to salvage the lance of Kresnik from the bottom of the ocean." Father said.
"Are you mad, it better to leave that stupid thing down there!" I shout. "Takato right, why would you want with the lance now?" Jude ask. "Exodus may be gone but it unlikely they abandoned their other world reactor plan. I will put a stop to it. And you what of your plans?" He ask. "We want to talk with Muzet, or at least Jude does. I want to kick her ass." I said. "I see why come find me?" Father ask. "We heard you been fighting her, so we figure you might know something." Leia said. 'Your highness were ready to set sail." A guard said. "Good come to the sea heaven." Father said to us as he start to leave. "Why?" Jude ask. " Come with me and you may see Muzet.' He said. "We should join him." I said as we follow him to the sea heaven. When we got there we saw Wingul. "Your highness all is ready aboard." Wingul said. Elize walk to him. "Excuse me." She said getting his attention.
I presume you wish to ask me about Jiao?" He ask. "Yes do you know why he protected me during the battle in Fezebel marsh?" She ask. "Perhaps he sought to make amends for his past crimes." He said. "But he ended up dying as a result." Elize said. "There are some who believe that nothing is more important then survival, but priorities change. Life start to lose purpose when you gone astray. Sometime the only means to make amends for one actions in life is to die." Wingul said. "I don't understand." Elize said. "You shouldn't have to Elize, you should enjoy the time you have." I said. "Well said my prince." Wingul said. "So how should I do that?" She ask me. I smile at her. "That up to you, Uncle Jiao wish was for you to be happy.." I said. "Ok I will." She said as she smile back. That should put Jiao at peace. "If I may?" Rowen ask. "Full of questions today are we. Let me guess it about his highness?" Wingul ask.
"What are Gaius plans for Rieze Maxia?" Rowen ask. "No doubt his highness will one day unite this world. That should tell you what to know." Wingul said as he head for the ship. Rowen look like he was thinking. "What is it?" Leia ask. "Nothing let get aboard." He said as we got on the ship. As the ship sail we explain what we learn to my father. "I see all this time she was bait." He said. "That why I want to find the real Maxwell, to find the truth." Jude said. "I want to know as well." I said. "He most likely reside in the spirit realm." Father said. "But does that place even exist." Leia said. "And even if it did, we have no way of getting there." Rowen said. "Hey Takato your a soul reaper right can't you get us there?" Jude ask. "No I only a substitute soul reaper, I don't have the power to go to the afterlife. The Spirit realm and the Soul society are two different places." I said. "So you can't help us. The Spirit realm exist somewhere, like wise a path to their realm must exist as well. "Wingul said.
"What about Nia Kiera don't they call it the village of spirits?" Ask Teepo. "You have a point it lies near a mountain call the hallow mount, you ight find a clue there." Father said. "I guess it worth a shot." I said. "Well what are we waiting for." Leia said. 'Don't get two excited this ship isn't turning around until we reach the lance." Wingul said. "Really come on who care about the stupid lance." Leia said as she pout. "I agreed with her Father, we should destroy the lance or at least leave it where it is." I said. 'No Takato the lance is the key to uniting Rieze Maxia." He said. "Gaius earlier you spoke of stopping the other world reactor plan. I suspect you're planning to invade Elympios by using the lance of Kresnik." Rowen said. "It is for the good of Rieze Maxia." Father said. "Hold on you would need a massive amount of mana to use the lance." Jude said. "I understand, I do not wish to sacrifice human or spirits. We may not have to use it." Elize said. "The reality is someone have to." Father said.
"Are you trying to finish what Milla started?" Jude ask. "I never put it in that perspective but inevitably yes. That is what I'm doing. No one have made such a strong impression on me." Father said. "Except for mother." I said as he smirk. 'True Maiko did have a strong will of her own, it one of the reason I was drawn to her." He said. "Then we also need to consider the fate of Elympios." Jude said. "Worry about them at a time like this." Wingul said. 'They were willing to sacrifice every human and spirit life in Rieze Maxia." He said. "Why does one side have to suffer for the sake of the other. That won't sit well with me, it wouldn't sit well with her either." Jude said. "I agreed we should all try and get along." I said with a grin on my face. "Milla would want to destroy the Schism and save everyone, that want I want to do." Jude said. Man Jude have really grown huh. 'I'm surprise to hear that from you. Are you trying to repay her for what she done for you?' Father ask. "Yes." Jude said. "You grow strong. Jude join me and." He said as he was cut off by Wingul.
"Your highness we nearly arrive the salvage operation need your attention. " He said. "Very well." Father said as he walk away. "Look like my Father starting to like you." I said as I pat him on the back. We waited for awhile as we watch them start on recovering the lance. We stand by the side of the ship as they pull the lance out of the water. Damnit father you should have left it alone. But then one of the ships were hit by a gravity ball. Shit it her. "Takato she coming!" Moeru Ryu shout. 'Incoming from the south east, it her!" A guard shout as we saw Muzet flying at us. "Hehe time to clean up, I'll slaughter every last one of she!" She shout as she came right at us. "Muzet stop this now." Jude said. "Time to end you!' She shout as she charge toward us.

"Cyclonic surge!" Jude shout as he sweep his foot at her causing a twister to shot up. She swung her arm to dispel it. She then shot a gravity ball at him. He roll out of the way in time. "Rapid lunge!" Leia shout as strike at Muzet from behind. The spirit use her hair to slap Leia away. "Mache waltz!" Rowen shout as he slashes at her. Muzet grab his and threw him away. "Teepo copter!" Elize shout as Teepo lift her into the air to swing at Muzet from above. Muzet does a back flip to kick them out of the air. She then look at me and glare. "You, that trick you pull on me wasn't very nice Takato you need to be punish." She said as she held up her hand and form a large fire ball. I had my ShiKai at the ready. "Die, Sunburst!" She shout as she threw it at me. "HonÅ o taberu hito!" I shout as I thrust forward and stab the fireball. It was absorb into my sword. "What that Impossible!" She shout. I smirk at her.
"Not really, My zanpaktuo Moeru Ryu give the power to create and control fire. I can even absorb out sources of flames to make me stronger for a short time." I said as my sword was cover in flames. "So pay back a bitch, Moeru talho!" I shout as I sent the fire blast at her. It slam into Muzet as it sent her crashing into the ground. She lift herself to her knees as a pair of guards grab her. "That was too easy." I said with a feeling of uncertainty. Your right, something off about her. "Jude said. "Well it a good thing we didn't try to catch her on our own." Leia said. We look at the spirit. "Muzet why are you doing this?" Jude ask. "Why am I ? I trying to protect Rieze Maxia" She shout. 'How is trying to kill us protecting Rieze Maxia?" I ask. "How am I suppose to know." She said. I saw father place his sword at her neck.
"So you were acting under orders.' He said. "Please you have to tell us. Where is Maxwell, we need to know." Jude said. She threw the guards off enrage. "Shit she piss." Moeru Ryu said. 'What do you people want with Lord Maxwell!" She shout. 'So there is another Maxwell after all." Wingul said. Muzet let out a scare gasp. "Muzet this can't be what Maxwell wants is it?" Leia ask. "Of course it is." Muzet said. She look to the sky and raise her hand s up. "Lord Maxwell, is this not your divine will? Lord Maxwell command me to smit these humans!" She cry to the skies. But not6hing happen, I think she gone insane. Without a word Muzet shot into the sky and disappear. "Wingul come follow me." Father order as hop onto a wyvern and chase after her. "Father!" I shout. "After his highness!" Wingul shout as the ship start to head back to Fenmount. 'Jude we need to get to the hallow mount asap." I said. "I know it might be our only lead to find Maxwell." He said as we sail back to the sea heaven.

Rowen: After our battle at sea we decided to venture to ward the Nia Kiera hallow mount. This could be our last lead to find Maxwell and to leard the truth of our late comrade. But it appear luck is not on our side. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 26: The road to Maxwell part 2.I pray we find what we are looking for.
