Hello and welcome back to Tales of Tamers Xilla. We finally made it to the Maxwell chapter. I been waiting to get to this one. This is one of my favorite part of the game. It going to be intense and brutal. Let not waste any more time folks. Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon, Tales of Xilla, Bleach, And sword art online. They all belong to their respected creators. Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the gang made it from their encounter with Muzet learning there really is a real Maxwell. They chase after her, but when they reach the shore Wingul decided to turn on them. He believe that Jude is a threat to Gaius plans. But Takato and the others had his back as they were able to escape the guards. They were able to get to Nia Kiera where that ran into Erika who told them there was a rift on the hallow mount that would take them to Maxwell. From there they made their way to Milla shrine where they found Ivar waiting for them. The hand maid was determined to stop them to avenge Milla death. But he was defeated, Jude talk him down to reveal Ivar truly care for Milla. He told the group how to get to the hallow mount. Once they reach the top they discover Alvin, Agria and Presa were waiting for them. A battle broke out as Alvin sided with the gang to defeat the women of the Chimaerid.
The chiff was weaken in the fight that cause Agria and Presa to fall to their deaths. Unsure of what to do Alvin rejoin the group as Takato claim his life is theirs now as they ready themselves to enter the rift and Find Maxwell.

Chapter 27
The lord of spirits
Takato POV: Hard to believe that Agria and Presa are gone. As bad as they were I will miss them. But there no time to worry about that, we have a job to do. We were standing in front of the strange rift that Erika claim will leads us to Maxwell. "It scary how much spirit energy is here." Elize said. "I can actually feel the mana pouring out of this thing." Leia said. "Yeah it immense." I said. "It a nothing short of a miracle that this spirit clime even exist. The slightest disturbance could collapse the entrance. It would any numbers of cosmic coincidences to create this place." Rowen said. "Doesn't it remind you of channeling circles in spirits artes?" Jude ask. "It does." I said. "Actually yeah now that you mention it." Leia said. "More importantly we should probably get inside that thing before Gaius and Muzet battle bring it crashing down. I'll go first." Alvin said. "Nope going first is kind of my thing." Leia said as she jump into the rift.
"See ya all on the other side." I said as I follow Leia into the rift. One the other side was a black void. I saw that the ground was made of white cubes. The others soon joins us on this side. "I didn't think places like this would exist." Rowen said as he look around. "I agreed but there no time for sight seeing, let hurry and find Maxwell." I said as we got moving. I guess the best way to go is down. I touch a red orb as a pillar of fire shot up. It light up the area as we saw a white space below us. "Who want to bet that where Maxwell is." I said. "Let go." Jude said as we jump down. It didn't take us very long to reach the bottom. "What a strange place." Elize said. That when I felt someone watching us. 'Who there!" I shout. That when we saw him. It was an old man with long white hair and beard. He has glasses on his face and wore a black and brown rode. He was sitting on a large throne made of gears. "These are the Temporal crossroads which connect the human and spirits realms." He said.
"Are you Maxwell?" Jude ask. The old man nod. "Indeed I am Maxwell the lord of spirits, I never thought humans would reach this place." He said. "Well we did so here we are." I said. "We came a long way to ask you something, we want you to tell us about Milla." Jude said as Maxwell look at us. "We heard you use her like bait." I said. "Why?" Elize ask. "I see you were her companions." He said. "Yes we travel together, she show me to think about many things. About power and what I might do then she die. That when I realize what I need to do." Jude said. "And what is that?" Maxwell said. "Destroy the Schism, it the only way to save both Rieze Maxia and Elympios." Jude said. Maxwell eyes widen in rage as he glare at us. "Fool the outside world is over flowing with Spyrixes, do you wish to destroy Rieze Maxia!" He shout. "That a risk we're willing to take." I said. "Her reason of choosing death had eluded me until now, but now I am certain." Maxwell said as he glare even harder at us.
" I don't like the way he is looking at us partner." Moeru Ryu said. Neither do I. "You lot have tempted Milla away from her path. It because of you she took such fool hardly actions. Now you plan to dispel the Schism and bring about the end of the world!" He shout. "Maxwell please." Jude said trying to reason with him. "Bane of my creation be gone from my world!" Maxwell shout as a shield like device appear in front of him. "I don't think he gonna listen to us." I said as we got ready for him.
Heroes vs Maxwell
"Demon fist!" Jude said as he shot at Maxwell. A barrier appear over Maxwell to block it. "Darting claw!" Leia shout as she jump and strike at the spirit. Maxwell shield shot a fire ball at her, sending her back. "Teepo squash!" Elize shout as Teepo enlarge and try to crush Maxwell. But the barrier stop the doll as Maxwell shield slam into him. "Demon inferno!" Alvin shout as he shot at the ground around Maxwell causing an explosion. But it have no effect as Maxwell shield sent a water blast at Alvin knocking him down. "Spectral purge!" Rowen shout as he try to crave into the spirit, but he only got block by the shield device. "Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I said as I unleash my ShiKai. "Nensho Surasshu!" I shout as I sent the flame slash at him. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he shot the energy ball at him. Our attacks hit his barrier, dawn we can't get through that shield. "Enough!" Maxwell shout as a massive channeling circle appear above him. it was made of four smaller ones that were red, blue, green and brown.
"Earth, water, wind, fire all will be lead to one truth, one judgement that befalls us all! Elemental meteorites!" Maxwell shout as meteors began to rain down on us. The impact from them blow us back and onto our knees. "Do you really understand? Can you possibly understand what you are trying to attempting to do?" Maxwell ask. "We know precisely what we are doing, that is why we do it." Rowen said as we got up. "Why do you think we came to ask you about Milla." Leia said. "We want to know the truth behind Rieze Maxia and why you would use Milla as bait." Alvin said. "What difference does it make if I told you?" Maxwell ask. "Because we don't know any thing about it." I said. "But not knowing certainly haven't gotten us very far." Jude said. Maxwell look at us and then sigh. "Two millennia ago Spyrix appear in this world. Spirits perish, nature wither and died. Humans following the path of annihilation, so I save all the spirits and animals I could and gather the humans with the ability to produce mana." He said.
" It was then I created Rieze Maxia and seal them all inside it. To provide them a haven from Spyrix. The world is an ark that must sail until Elympios falls, no one leave until then." Maxwell said. "So what we just twiddle our thumbs until Elympios dies." Alvin said anger by this. "That can't be the only way to save humans and spirits." Elize said. "That right there could be another way." I said. "But at this rate the people of Elympios will die." Leia said. "Rika, my friends Maxwell what about the Soul society surely they must know about this?" I ask. "There was nothing they could do the Spyrixes were a danger to them as well. Pity the people of the other world not. I have my humans allies warn them that Spyrix would bring nothing but anhelation. Yet the humans persisted on it used. Furthermore they realize that spirits in their world going to extinct, They took drastic measures, they launch their assult on Rieze Maxia." Maxwell said.
"You mean when they attack 20 years ago?" I ask. "That must have been when the massive hole open in the Schism." Alvin said. "Yes I cant leave this place, so I created Muzet the Great spirit of space as my replacement to eradicate any intruders." Maxwell said. He sigh once more. "And yet people got through right?" I ask. "Exodus." Guilmon said. "A clever lot, they avoid my detection and went into hiding. So I came up with a plan. Exodus knows that if I were to die, my Schism would die with me, I realize that with the proper bait I could lure my prey out of hiding." Maxwell said. "That can't be right." Rowen said. "You can't mean?" Elize ask scare as she grab the back of my coat. I grip my teeth. This no good basture! "Yes I created a life I could expose to my foes, that would lure them out into the open. You all know who that is." Maxwell said. "Milla." Jude said as he clench his fists tightly. "How could you!" Leia shout at the spirit.
"Did she know she was a fake?" I ask as my hand rest on my sword. "I am not se careless, I engrave my words into heart and I had her raise to believe she truly was Maxwell." He said. "That means her mission meant nothing did she even mean anything to you!" Jude shout. "Of course she was a essential cog in my machine." Maxwell said with absolutely no remorse in his voice. "Don't you dare call her that!" Me and Jude shout at him as we started to attack him recklessly. He scoff at us. "Hmph nothing has change, I have given you the gift of the truth. Yet your response is the same. You let your emotions control you and you seek to destroy that you do not understand. Begone Elemental meteorites!" He shout as he made meteors fall onto us once more. We all get blasted back of our feet. We didn't get up as we lay on the ground. "It make no sense? How could people such as these twisted my cog from her purpose?" He ask himself.
`"The hell are you talking about?" Leia ask as she look up at him. "Milla never change." Teepo said. 'Impossible!" Maxwell shout. "Do you really not get it?" Elize ask. "Man you really don't know shit about who Milla is do you." I said. "You got it wrong Maxwell." Jude said. "Did you really created Milla." Alvin said. "I agree with Takato, he seem to know nothing about her." Rowen said. "What are you all talking about?!" Maxwell demanded from us. "We all know Milla would never change or abandon her mission." Jude said as we all got up from the ground. "Then how do explain her actions? Her mission was to never destroy the Schism!" He shout. "Milla sacrificed her self trying to save everyone. She only obey her own heart. Nothing she did was for you!" Jude shout. "So shut the hell up already Moeru talho!" I shout as I shot the fire blast at him as it hit the barrier. "Gah die!" Maxwell shout as he sent more meteors at us. Once again we got knock down.
But this won't stop us. I got to my knee's as Jude move to his feet. "No matter how many times you regain your feet, I will simply knock you down again. Your life end here." Maxwell said as he got ready to attack again. "That may be what you think, but it not for you to decide!" Jude shout. "Ridiculous look at yourself fool, you can barely even stand up. Do you really think you have the strength to resist me!" Maxwell shout as he sent his meteors at Jude. Jude hold his ground as the meteors land around him, not flinching at them. I guess Jude has what it takes to stand up against him. Jude started to walk to Maxwell as the attack keep coming at him. "Impossible you must ... you must die!" Maxwell cry as he try to kill Jude. Jude ran at Maxwell as he jump and punch as the barrier. I some what look like something cutting it. That let Jude break through it and punch Maxwell like in the lord of spirits was thrown back as Jude land on the ground. Standing next to him was someone we didn't expected. It was Milla!
She alive, no wait her mana doesn't feel like that of a human. Damn that could only mean one thing. But that could wait as I let out a joyful laugh. "Hahaha I'll be a son of a bitch! You sure took your sweet ass time." I said as I stand next to them with Guilmon. "Mi-." Jude said as she cut him off with her finger. She turn to look at Maxwell. "Is it not Maxwell mission to protect the future of all of us, both humans and spirits?" She ask him. 'But how, can this be the Four doing?" Maxwell ask. "Being uncertain can make you look weak you know." Milla said as the Four appear behind her and heal all of us. "Are you sure about this?" Milla ask them. The spirits nod to her. "Alright then. Jude, Takato let do this." she said. "Right." Jude said as he got ready. 'With pleasure let go Guilmon Digi modify Digivolvtion activate." I said.

I then stab my sword into the ground. "BanKai Shinku Moeru Ryuo no ha!" I shout as I went all out. "Here we come Maxwell!" I shout as We charge at him.
Heroes vs Maxwell round 2
"Die all of you Meteor storm!" Maxwell shout as a white channeling circle appear above us. White meteors came roaring out as they came at us. "Digi modify Holy barrier activate!" I shout as I slash a card through my D-arc. Growlmon roar as a large white dome of light cover us, protecting us from the attack. "Takato he no longer have the power of the Four." Moeru Ryu said. That work for us. Growlmon drop the barrier as Maxwell attack end. 'Let it rip boy!" I shout. "Okie doki Pyro blaster!" He shout as he shot his fire blast at Maxwell shield device causing it to shatter. "Milla let do this as one." Jude said. "Of course." She said as the two of them charge at Maxwell. "Humans!" Jude shout as he gave Maxwell a barrage of punches. "And spirits!" Milla shout as she slash her sword at him a few times. They land on both sides of Maxwell. "Shine bright as one!" Jude shout as he start to glow green. "Bonds eternal!" Milla said as she glows red. They then rush at him. "Tiger blade sigma!" They shout as they slam into him sending him into the air.
"This won't defeat me!' Maxwell said not noticing I was behind him. "No but this will! Behold the blade of the dragon king! Ryugonken!" I shout as I swung my sword at his back. I cut his throne in half as the spirit was thrown to the ground. This fight is over, victory is ours. I saw Jude and Milla looking at each other. "Hey." He said to her. "Hi there." She said back. I roll my eyes at them. 'Oh for fuck sakes, just kiss already!" I shout causing them to blush. Leia and Elize ran to Milla to give her a hug. "I feel bless to have live long enough for this reunion." Rowen said. "This feel like a dream, but it real." Alvin said. "I'm glad to see you all too." Milla said with a smile. We soon notice Maxwell was getting up. "Hey stay away from us or I'll finish you my self." Teepo said as he try to threated the spirit. "I do not understand? The Four tell me what is the meaning of this?' Maxwell ask them as the Four appear. 'I could no longer allow you to continue with this folly." Efreet said with cross arms.
"Right exactly you were being a jerk, so we decided to help Milla out." Slipth said. 'How dare you, I gave you no such orders." Maxwell said. "Lord Maxwell all people have hearts and minds, just the same as we do." Undine said. 'You can't just treat them like tools. Even if it does help in the end." Gnome said. "Maxwell you may have been the one to give me my mission, never the less it was still my own mission." Milla said. "You exerted your own will and that was a decision that came straight from your own heart." Maxwell said shock. 'The world you created seem to serve no purpose other than to exist. But what kind of life is that for it people, we all just want to live." Jude said. 'So please let us live the way we want to." I said. Maxwell sigh. "I suppose this is why I could not understand your actions. Human hearts truly are complicated things. Perhaps my ignoring that fact is what ultimately led me astray. Very well I will dispel the Schism." Maxwell said.
Yes finally I can she the others again, and most of all Rika. "Are you serious?' Alvin ask surprise. "Maintaining the Schism requires a tremendous amount of mana. Dispelling it will disperse this energy into the world. That will protect the world spirits at least for a time any way. It will grant us a reprieve of a few decades at best.' Maxwell said. "That you Maxwell.' Jude said as he bow his head. "We'll figure out a solution to help the two worlds." I said. 'Both Rieze Maxia and Elympios will live on together you have my word." Jude said. 'So Maxwell you would step down as your rightful place as this world god?" A voice ask. We turn to see my father walking to us. When did he get here and how? "Gaius." Milla said. He ignore her as he look at Maxwell. 'Answer me Maxwell." Father said. 'I have grown wary of constantly being at the mercy of human hearts." Maxwell said tired. "Maxwell?" Milla ask. "If you wish to abdicate your throne as Rieze Maxia god, then I shall sit up on it in your stead." Father said.
I face palm at that. ' Oh you have to be shitting me!" I shout not believing this. Maxwell scoff at him. 'A mere human replace me as my equal, how absurd. You are not worthy at all." He said. 'It not a question of being worthy, it is a question of actually being willing and able. If you cannot fulfill your obligation, then I certainly will." Father said. "Not so fast I'm afraid that not going to work for me either.' Milla said. "It matter not I don't need your approval." Father said as the area begins to shake. 'Such power it can't be!" Maxwell shout as a rift appear and the lance of Kresnik came out of it. "What the hell is that thing doing here?" I ask. We saw standing on top of the lance was Muzet. "What choice did I had after all you refuse to tell me what I should do didn't you." She said to Maxwell. "Muzet have you lost your mind!" He shout at her. "I cannot allow you to destroy the Schism!" She shout. "Maxwell you will serve as the cornerstone of your own world." Father said.
Muzet shot toward Maxwell and throw him in front of the lance as he as bound to it. 'Is it my mission to protect the Schism, my mission my my my!" She said insane. "Yeah no shit about that." Moeru Ryu said. "Release me right now!" Maxwell shout. "I'm afraid not it too late, your always too late." She said as the lance opens and start to drain Maxwell. "Muzet to me' Father said as she went to his side. "Are you prepare?" He ask. "As my lord wishes." She said as a black hole form on the center of her chest. Father reach into it and pull out a glowing blue long sword. 'No stop you can't mean to unleash it!" Maxwell shout worry. This can't be good. "Behold Muzet true power, a sword that can cut through space and time." Father said. "I don't expect us to meet again my sister." Muzet said. "You can't be serious" Milla said. 'Why are you doing this Gaius?" Jude ask. 'For the sake of those who were killed, I will go to Elympios." Father said as he ready the sword.
'And you all will return to Rieze Maxia where you will not interfere." He said as he slash the sword. The air behind us spilt open as a rift appear and start to pull us in. "I can't hang on." Elize said as Alvin grab a hold of her. "Damn it!" I shout. But then another portal appear next to us. "Leave at once for this man is not worthy of the name of Maxwell!" Maxwell shout. ' Everyone brace your selves." Milla said. 'Father!" I shout as we were pull into the portal and all went dark.

Takato: When we came to we discover to be in a new world. This must be Elympios, at least we can see how bad things are on this side. But most aof all I finally get a face to face with someone I been wanting to see for a long time. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 28 Reunion. I hope she can forgive for taking to long to see her.
And done, man this one was intense and long. I did pretty well with this one, I mean Milla back and she and Jude got to use Tiger blade sigma on Maxwell which makes sense. It show how strong their bond is. Any way next time we'll be picking up things in Elympios. I can't wait to get started on it. See ya next time folks. This been Crimson Dragonic blazing out!
