Recap

Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla, the gang continue their way through Heiloborg in order to stop Gaius and Find theirs love ones. On the way they met up with their fellow Tamer Henry amd his Digimon Terriermon and one of the new Tamers Henry older brother Hiro and his Digimon Ryudamon. They join the gang as they continue to move throughout the lab. They found a computer that told then a Spyrite call Volt was activated. Jude believes that Gaius was the one who activated it. They make their way to the roof to find Volf waiting for them. After they defeated the Spyrite Gaius and Muzet appear. They explain their plan is to leave the Schism intact until every last Spyrixes are destroy. Then they will unite the wolrds. Once they departed the gang try to tether with Volt in order to help Balan and the others. After saving them The gang learn that the Spyrite can be an eventual replacement For Spyrixes. This gave them the answer to the two-world problem as they head to the Rustalle Highroad to find the place they enter Elympios from.

Chapter 31

To a new future

Takato POV: Thanks to Balan and the others we were able to find what we need to save both worlds. Now we need to just stop my father plan. But first we need to check the stop where we enter Elympios. So, after parting ways with Henry and the others we head into the Rustalle highroad. 'So how far is the hill where Balan found us is Rika?" Leia asks. 'It about an hour walk to and back." Riak said. "That a abit far can't we take Kyubimon?" I ask as Rika glare at me. "You forget Goggle head, Kyubimon can only seat two at a time. Unless you want to hang onto her tails." She said. "Good point." I said. For the next hour we walk as we soon came to a hill. There at the hill edge was a rift similar to the one we saw on the hallow mount. "What that?' Rika asks. "It must be the rift Takato group came from." Renamon said. "We must have fallen out from there to the bottom of the hill." Jude said. "Isn't the rift a little small?" Alvin ask.

"My guess it about to collapse, jumping through it would be a leap of faith." Milla said. "Let not chance it just yet." I said. "Count me out it look too dangerous." Teepo said. "Let head back to town and find another way." Leia said. "Hey everyone?' Jude ask. as we look at him. "If you plan to return to Rieze Maxia then I think it time to part ways." He said. "What make you say that all of the sudden?" Leia ask. "Stop Jude, I'm not leaving until I stop my father." I said. "I know we pull off a successful Spyrite tethering and we found out some great news. But I think I'm afraid the only way to stop Gaius at this point to fight him. I don't want the way you feel now to get in the way of your true feelings." He said. "I agree it we can't be honest with ourselves about why we rea fighting then there no point in fighting in the first place." Milla said. "In other words, you want us to make our decision?" Rowen said. "It is a difficult ride ahead. I guess it only make sense." Alvin said.

"I made my choice I'm fine with it." I said. "Mind if I have some more time to think at least until your already to leave?" Leia ask. "Sure of course." Jude said. With that said we all started to head back. Me and Jude notice something falls off of Milla. He picks it up to reveal it to be Milla fossil. "Wait isn't this?" He ask. "You're wondering how she able to walk without it right? You should know the answer.' I said. "She no longer human, is she?" He ask. "She isn't, I felt the change in her mana when she came back. Come on we should head back you two can talk about it later." I said. He nods as we caught up to the others. After a long walk we came back to Trygleth and return to Balan apartment. It was now night time and I was on edge to the point that I went to the city docks and sat on the edge. I notice Rika walking to me. "Can't sleep?" I ask as she sat next to me. "No dud not with everything that happen today. Man, Goggle head how in the hell do we always end up in these kinds of messes?" She ask.

"It just how our lives are now I guess." I said. She looks at me with a sad expression. "Takato tell me will you be able to fight your dad? I know he a real basture right now but he still your family." She said. "I know, honestly I think he doing this for my mom. Before she die, she said she would like to create a peaceful world where everyone can be happy. In father mind this is the way to do it. But I have no choice but to stop him." I said. 'He plan to destroy all Spyrixes, he claims he would spare yours but i can't take that risk. I won't let him lay a hand on you." I said as she chuckles. 'That you to a T Takato, Always the hero. You really never needed a reason to fight." She said. 'Most of my life I train to become stronger to hunt down my mother killer. But now that I have my memories back, I now realize You and the others are my strength. So, I'm going to Help Jude and Milla." I said. "Then if you're going so am I." She said.

"Are you sure?" I ask. "Of course, I'm stronger than I use to be. And beside I have you and the others looking out for me. " she said. 'I love you Rika." I said. "I love you too." She said as she pulls me into a kiss. We soon parted. 'Come on let get some sleep, we got a big day tomorrow." I said. 'You got that right." She said as we head back to Balan apartment. The next morning, we met everyone out side. "Sleep well?" Jude ask, "That must have been the best sleep I had in my entire life. I was dead to the world." Alvin said. "Plus, we got to see Takato and Rika snuggle on the couch oh it was adorable." Leia said as we blush. 'Stup up Leia or I will pump you full of holes!" Rika shout as she reaches for her gun. Leia turns to look at Jude. "I decided I'm coming too. I won't bore you guys with my reason." She said. "Thank you, Leia, do your best." Jude said. "Are you coming as well Rika?" Milla ask. "Of course, my world is at state too Ya know." Rika said.

"I'm coming too." Elize said. "Me three" Teepo said. "I shall accompany you as well." Rowen said. "The same goes for me too." Alvin said. "You already know my answer." I said. 'My too." Guilmon said. 'Mine as well." Renamon said. 'So you made up your minds" Milla ask as we all nod. "Then there something we need to tell you, check this out." Jude said as pull out a glowing knife. "That look like the sword father pull out of Muzet." I said. 'Gaius brought this to us last night. He calls it a piece of Muzet power." Milla said. "Does that mean we can use it to open the breach?' Elize ask. 'Look like it." Jude said. "That good now we can get to the Temporal crossroads." I said. "Gaius truly inscrutable." Rowen said. "He mocking us I know nit." Alvin said. "I don't think so, we might be fighting against one another, but he good guy." Leia said. "I really doubt that, Leia." Rika said. "It a bummer there no one to see us off." Teepo said.

'That shouldn't be a problem." Jude said with a smile. "We'll have to accept being unsung heroes." Milla said. "We're pretty much use to that already." Rika said. "Who need an adoring crowd, let have a pre battle cheer." Leia said. I chuckle. "Why not." I said. "Everyone let finish what we started." Jude said as he held his fist out to us. "Yeah!" We all cheer as we follow him. We set out toward the breach. It was a few hours of walking until we got there. "Jude your up." Milla said. He nod as he took out the knife. He uses it to slash the breach causing it to grow wider. "Can we look before we leap?' Ask Elize unsure of this. Rika smile at Elize and pat her head. 'Of course." She said. "Less looking and more leaping!" Leia shout. 'Not yet." Alvin said. "What now?' She ask. 'You really think we can beat Gaius and Muzet like this?" He ask. "Don't tell me your getting cold feet." Milla said as she put her hand on her hip. 'I don't think that what he means." I said.

"He means is there anything we need to do back home." I said. "We can go back?" Teepo ask. "Yes, we can probably return to Rieze Maxia from the Temporal crossroads." Milla said."Alvin is right we'll have no help form anyone." I said. "In others words we must be fully prepared." Milla said. "I believe we are let go." Jude said. as we jump into the breach. On the other side was a crossroad with a second breach on it. Rika and Renamon were looking around. 'This place sure is freaky." Rika said. 'Yes, it is quite a strange." Renamon said. "Hey nice of you to join us." Alvin said to Jude and Mila as they were the last one to make it through. "Either we ended up in a different place from last time or it got a major make over." He said. "Gaius and Muzet must have use Maxwell power to alter things here. Where Leia?' Milla ask. We soon saw Leia running to us. "Where you go?' Jude ask. "I found another rift over there." She said. "You went through it didn't you?' I ask. 'I did, it led to Rieze Maxia that the wrong way." She said. Elize point to another path.

"Then Gaius and Muzet are this way." She said. 'This is a dilemma, I assume we would be following the same path." Rowen said. "So, what we wouldn't want it to be easy now." I said. "Act your age Rowen." Teepo said. " Horoho well said." Rowen said. 'Plus, we have something attack on the way I know it." Rika said. "Better keep our guard up then." Jude said. "Let get moving." Isaid as we make our way through the crossroads. We jump off a ledge to find Wingul sitting on a rock waiting for us. "Who is that?' Ask Renamon. "Wingul on of my father lackies, I had a feeling he be here." I said. 'Wingul." Milla said as he looks at us. "So, you made it this far." He said. "I assume you're not going to let us go?' Jude ask. 'Of course not, you should know well enough why I stand here. Turn back now." Wingul said. 'No way in help jerk wad!" Rika shout. "You know we cannot oblige to that." Rowen said. "Why are you so adamant about meeting his highness?" Wingul ask. "Well, I just want to knock some sense into his ass." I said with a smirk.

'We must stop him and dispel the Schism. It is the only way for the people of Rieze Maxia and Elympios to come together." Rowen said. "So, you sided with the Elympions now. Your fickle self righteous sicken me!" Wingul shout as he jumps to his feet and draw his sword as us. 'I don't under stand what his highness sees in you. You will die before you become further burden on him!" Shout as he activated his Booster and transforms. "We'll see about that!" I shout. 'Hail Gaius!" He shouts as he came at us.

Heroes' vs Wingul

"Savage Roar!" Jude shout as he slams his foot into Wingul chest. Wingul try to slash at Jude. "Cloud pierce!" Milla shout as she rushes at Wingul to force him away from Jude. "Gale fang!" Wingul shout as he performs an X slash at Milla who block it in time. "Alvin charge at him. "Hell fryer!" He shouts as he swung his burning sword at Wingul. "Sonic blast!" Wingul shout as he thrust a wind coated sord to push Alvin away. "Ignite terror!" Elize shout as she shot the large purple beam at him as he quickly jumps back. Leia was right behind him. "Soul stroke spin!" She shouts as she strikes him several times in the back. Wingul try to strike back until Rowen spoke up. "Tidal wave!" He shouts as he sent a large wave of water that slam into Wingul. "Rising phoenix!" Wingul shout as he jumps int the air and dive, stabbing a flame cover sword at Rowen. The conductor moves back in time to dodge. Rika charge at him with her swords in hand.

'Storm frenzy!" She shouts as she spun and gave Wingul a barrage of slashes to the chest leaving gashes. Renamon them jump over her Tamer. 'Diamond storm!' She shouts as she made glowing diamonds rain down on him, cutting him all over. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he launches his energy ball, hitting Wingul in his right shoulder. Wingul let out a scream. "GAH enough of this I will end you all! Lightning nova!' He shouts as he charges right at me. I quickly use Moeru Ryu in his ShiKai state to parry off Wingul barrage of attacks. I found an opening and kick him in his batter chest to force him back. I change to a reverse grip as my sword glow red. "Your finish! Behold the blade of the dragon king Ryugonken!" I shout as I slash him across the chest and was thrown back. This fight is over. Wingul climb to his knees. 'Ilbert, his highness is right. If we destroy the Spyrixes, the world will change.' He said. Rowen shook his head.

'You cannot force the world along a path it has not chosen for itself. That a revelation I have finally come to accept." Rowen said. "Rowen.' I said. "Only now you stand there after all that has transpire at the front of the fight. How pathetic of you. I'm not finish with you. I must help his highness achieve his vision!" Wingul scream as he tries to get up. "Why push yourself to the limit?" Leia ask. "Stop this Wingul." I said. 'Wingul Gaius has not kill all of us for precisely for the same reason that he keep you at his side." Rowen said. "It you were to die here then Gaius ideals wou-." Rowen was cut off by Wingul. "Not another word. Say no more Ilbert." He as he transforms again. Suddenly energy start to spiral around Wingul as he cries out in pain. "Pull yourself together!"" Rowen shout as he tries to help him. "Could this be a reaction to the Booster." Rowen said. Wait what. i look at Elize in worry. "No, I could never fall prey to a tool!" Wingul shout as he stabs the ground causing it to break apart.

This causes us to fall into the air. Lucky for us we all fall onto different paths and separated from each other. "Damnit Wingul." I Said. "Now what I can't exactly leap these gaps in a single bound." Alvin said. "Har Har Avin quit kidding around." Teepo said. 'You make it, just flap your arms and believe in yourself." Elize said. "Now who the bid bad Lier? Seriously what the plan?' He ask. "No getting back up there." Leia said. "Dammit this is a pain in the ass." Rika curse. 'Rowen, I hate to say it, but I doubt he survive that." I said. "I know still I thought I heard his voice at the end." He said sadly. "It doesn't matter right now; we need to focus on how to extricate ourselves from our predictement." Rowen said. "Right, I think the best plan if each of us to move forward separately.." Jude said. "Were all heading to the same place after all." Milla said. "Is this a race, then we all know I'll get to Gaius 1st." Alvin said.

"Was that lie meant to discourage those of us who will reach him 1st." Rowen said. 'Oh burn! I'll see you all there." I said. "Like hell Goggle head, it be me. Make sure you don't die." Rika said. 'You too." I said. 'I'm going to be 1st.' Leia said. 'I'll say hi to Gaius for everyone." Elize said. "Happy trails everyone." Jude as we all went our own ways. "Let go boy." I said as me and Guilmon jump down from a ledge. After running for a awhile we came to a clearing and found Jude and Milla. "So, what did we miss?" I ask. "Gaius was here, we fought and he went down below." Jude said. "We'll let go greet him shall we." I said as we jump down to the deepest part of the crossroads. There we see Maxwell fighting against Gaius and Muzet. "Maxwell!" Milla shout as the image look at us. "You fool why have you come." He said. "Muzet grant me strength." Father said as Muzet went to him. Father pull the sword for her chest. He then swung and Cut Maxwell image in half to dispel it. 'Father!" I shout.

"I don't understand why are you keep trying to stop us?" Muzet ask. 'I warn you Jude keeps this up and you will lose the person most dear to you" Father said. "If I run then I won't be able to face her. Then I would really lose her." Jude said. "Mila you already have something important to protect." Muzet said. "And I can't let him see me back down.' Milla said. "As for me, I won't let you do this father! I will make the world mother would have wanted my own way!" I shout. "So I won't run." Jude said. "And I will fight.' Milla said. "And I will follow my own way." I said. "BanKai: Shinku Moeru Ryuo no ha!" I shout as I went all out. "Your resolve is commendable and I have no intention to stray from my path in anyway either." Father said as he cries out and was cover by light. When it clears he has change? He now wore black pant with a red and white cape hanging on his waist. His chest was bear with white armor on his wrists and black marks on his chest. A glowing blue flame like emblem float behind him.

And he has a booster great. "The time has come; we shall see whose path continue into the future!" He shouts as they came at us.

Heroes' vs Gaius and Muzet

Father rush at me and swung his sword. I quickly block his attack. 'Shakkaho!" I shout as I shot the arte at point blank causing him to move back. Jude charge at him. "These fists will tear the heaves.' He said as he punches Father in the chest a few times. "Final fury!" He shouts as he slams the final punch to force Father back. Muzet was throwing gravity balls at Milla. 'Elements come." Milla said as she hit Muzet with a fire ball. 'And gather." Milla said as she threw water at her sister as well. 'Unite." She said as she slams a wind blade into Muzet. "And become my blade' she said as she shot stones spikes at Muzet. "Elemental mastery!" Milla shout as she sent a barrage of all the elements at Muzet causing her to fly back. "Demon wave!" Father shout as he sent the slash wave at us. But then Alvin jumps down and block it. "Leave it to me." He said. "This is me at my very best." Alvin shout as he shot at father causing explosions to rang out.

He then charges his sword and rush at father. "Terminus pride!" He shouts as he slams his sword into father chest to knock him back. "Muzet glare at Alvin and growl. 'You!" She shout as she flew at him. That when Elize land in front of Alvin. "Teepo!" She shouts as she charges her wand. 'All system are go!" He shouts as Elize hit him and sent him at Muzet. Teepo form the tower of purple Channeling circles around her. "Scary go round!" Thay shout as the pillar of dark energy shot up and blow Muzet away. Father charge at Milla. Only for a pillar of water to push him up ward. He was soon frozen in it as Rowen walk forward. "Grand finale!' He shouts as he threw is knife at the pilar causing it to shatter, dropping father to the ground. This piss off Muzet as she tries to get to Rowen. Only for Leia to get in the way. "I don't think so. I spin like a tornedo' she said as she gave Muzet a barrage of strikes with her staff to send the spirit into the air. Leia jumps after her.

"And shine like a shooting star Soul stroke celebration!" Leia shout as she slams Muzet into the ground hard. Muzet got to her feet. "How dare you." She said. 'Power paw!" Renamon shout as she lands a glowing punch to Muzet face, causing her to stumble. "You annoying pest!" Muzet shout. "It you hate her then your going to love me." Rika said as she got Muzet attention. 'Star of the cosmos shine down upon me." She said as she hit Muzet with a barrage of glowing bullets. She then changes it to it bow mode as a large white energy arrow forms. 'And show me my destiny Shooting star arrow!" Rika shout as she shot the arrow and it explodes against Muzet and blast her to the ground taking her out of the fight. My father then came at me. "Absolute domination!" He shouts as he swung the burning sword at me. 'Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he hit father in the leg causing him to miss me. Its time to finish this once and for all.

"Guys get clear!" I shout as they all quickly move away. I rise my sword up as Bright red energy started to explode from it. 'Beware for this sword is the mighty dragon that can slash through the heavens! Tamashii Ryujin!" I scream as I brought my sword down and launch a massive red energy dragon at my father. It roars as it charges at him. Father try to us his sword to block as the dragon bite down onto the blade. But it wasn't enough as the sword snap into as Father as engulf by my attack and as blasted back. He has lost. He climbs to his knees as I change back to normal and fell on my ass in exhaustion. 'You ok Rika said as she helps me up. 'I'm fine love worn out is all." I said. Milla use this to summon the four. They form a large channeling circle over the lance as a beam shot down destroying it for good and free maxwell. 'Once again it all gone. I lost everything." Muzet cry. 'Your vision for the future offer nothing but suffering to the people. Whether Spyrites are perfected or not." Father said as he got up.

'We won't know until we try." I said. "Even if we untie the worlds, it is pure fantasy to think that they will cooperate with one another." Father said. "May be your right, may be my dreams for the future are hopelessly naive. But still Milla never stop believing in me and so did you." Jude said. 'So don't try to lie father.' I said with a grin. 'But what does any to that matter now?' Father asks. 'I may appear to be talking now, but I was scare witless throughout this entire journey. I'm still a small human. But You know what I will get stronger. I want you to Believe in me." Jude said. "Humans strive to become stronger. They constantly struggle to grow more for the sake of others. They raise to the occasion, this fills me with hope for the future. One that fill with possibites I chosen with it. I know you understand this Gaius." Milla said. "I do not when all of these possibittes off yours evaporate, I will then be force to rise again." Father said. Jude walks to my father and held out his hand to him.

Father was surprise by this. "You won't have to do anything." Jude said. "Muzet." Milla said as she walks to her sister. She held her hand to Muzet. 'If living alone is too painful for you then come join us." Milla said with a smile. Muzet gave a tearily smile back." Thank you.' She said. "I see that you have made up your mind." Maxwell said. "Yes." Milla said. "What are you talking about?" Alvin asks. Milla turn to look at us. "I have decided to become Maxwell." She said. "What!" I shout. "So that was your plan." Rowen said. "Now if you desire Milla you can use the Schism man to become human again." Maxwell said. Milla shake her head in refusal. "I see watch over spirits then." Maxwell said. "Wait." Jude said. 'Jude this is Farwell. Our fates were always intertwined in a mysterious way. Thak you for everything." She said. 'Hold on I." He said. Then he calms down. "I'm sorry for all the times I was weak. But now I think I'm going to be ok." He said.

'Elize want you to know that she loves you and so do I." Teepo said as Elize blush. 'Will we be able to see each other again?' leia ask. "It was a pleasure." Rowen said as he bows to Milla. "What the hell you never told us." Alvin said upset. "It been a real blast Milla.' I said. "Yeah, it was." Rika said. Milla smile and turn around to face Maxwell. 'I'm ready." She said. Maxwell nod and turn into a golden light and disappear. That when I felt a massive amount of mana pass over us. The Schism is gone. I felt Rika grab my hand. I wrap my fingers around hers as we all watch the sunrise. "Milla is everything all right?" Jude ask as we saw Milla was crying. "From now on I'm Milla Maxwell and I'll be ok!" She shout. "We all will." I said. Normal POV: Unknown to our heroes Erika was watching them through an orb of light in some sort of purple void. There was a large fetus floating underneath her while a metal door was above her with the number 899,999,999 on it.

"So, if appear they have done it, the Schism is no more." A voice said. Erika turns around to see who it is. It was a man with dark skin and long white hair. His feet were pointed while he has long curve blades on his arms and his eyes were a dark gold. "It has Chronos, with this means our agreement is finish." She said as she looks to the door on the ceiling. 'Its time for you to give me what you promise Origin." She said. A ball of white light floated down form the door and cover Erika. When it fades Erika was unchanged except for the small green and pink worm like creature in her arms. "Welcome back Wormmon." She said. 'It good to be back this time I'll always be by your side." Wormmon said in a girl voice. 'And no one will tear us apart." Erika said as A small ball of light appear in from of them. Erika touch as it turns into a Blue D-arc with a green ring.

"There the conditions of the pact have been met. Origin has separate you from your pet and has given you a healthy human body. Now go and begone from this sacred place." Chronos said as he opens a portal. "Very well, come Wormmon we have a new world to explore." Erika said as the two went through the portal. 'Foolish girl you or the Tamers will not be able to save a doom race like the humans." Chronos said as he looks at the door as the number turn to 900,000,000. "For the end shall be soon upon you all." He said.
