Sorry an update literary took forever, I thought I would be writing more often, but in the last few months of school we were doing so much writing near the end, so much that I didn't have the energy to do any more in my free time and I had a bit of writer's block and lots of other stuff to catch up on reading too. So sorry if anyone was actually waiting for a new chapter :(

This chapter is dedicated to my one year anniversary (20th April) of making my account on , I can't believe it's been a year. I was going to write another short story to celebrate this but never got around to it ;D. My life has changed for the better because of this site and has opened so many doors for myself, which have also helped me boost up my grades in school, because of this thank you so much to the first writers who inspired me to read and write for fun in the first place, you're the best! Anyways hope you enjoy this next chapter (finally) :D

"Wake up bro, Dad wants you down in 10 minutes!"

"Errr, wha-what?"

Scott was used to being woken up early, sibling or overwise over the years, but today was different. He swore to himself if he was sitting on a bottom bunk of a bunkbed, he would have hit his head in the progress of getting up.

"No way Kayo will listen anything I tell her today-or however long it takes", he thought allowed to himself. "She's as stubborn as a mule."

"Look alive bro! Dad said it's time to get ready to rumble!", Alan added enthusiastically through the door uninvited, before dashing off again.

"This will be fun", Scott said sarcastically as he plodded off, out into the hallway.

Kayo wasn't feeling much brighter, even though she knew she had Scott rapped around her finger, the possibility for things going wrong today was high, so high Gordon may even have to even borrow Thunderbird 1 again just to save them from near death, with maybe even the assistance of Thunderbird 2 while they were at it.

"Rise and shine K it's time for your adventure with Scotty dog!", Gordon called through as he copied the same actions of what his youngest brother previously did for the oldest a few seconds ago. Then again, they did have very similar personalities since they grew up close to each other age wise.

Kayo had made her way downstairs to find Scott submerged in 'essential' equipment, and what she guessed was hers sitting next to his feet.

"Errr, guys is this really necessary?"

"According to Virgil yes", Scott replied.

"I just want you both to be as prepared for every situation", he shrugged amused.

"It's an island Virgil, or island how bad can it be compared to what we've been up against?"

"You never know", he shrugged, "besides, you are sleeping at least one night."

"F-innee…"

At least they both agreed on that.

Scott lifted his heavy, surprisingly new backpack, onto the main table in the middle of the ring.

"So, what do we have in here anyways, it feels like we have everything but the kitchen sink in here!"

"Just a few essentials like snacks, drink and shelter with some pretty cool comforts if I do say so myself", John explained as he made his way down from the stairs from the space elevator towards his family. "Oh, and along with a few surprises."

"John, you came down-for this?", Kayo asked surprisingly.

"Sure, wouldn't miss it, Alan said it would be the event of the year next to his birthday-OW! Alan."

"Did he now-wait what kind of surprises?" Kayo asked suspiciously.

"If we told you that it wouldn't be a surprise now, would it?" Grandma pointed out trying to prevent Gordon from spilling any hints.

"Right…" Scott said. He knew there was no use trying any longer to get it out of them, besides he knew it would never happen - it was like being 12 all over again for him he thought, then again, the rules never really ever changed (Grandma made sure of that).

As the duo made there way out to the patio by the swimming pool to start their journey, the whole household came out to say their goodbyes to them, and give some somewhat pointless last pieces of information and advice.

"Remember to call if you need anything urgent.", Virgil reminded them.

"Do you remember how to set up a tent?", Jeff asked.

"Do you know how to start a fire?", asked Grandma.

"Without burning half the island down?", added Gordon.

"Don't eat all your food on the first day", Alan suggested with a smirk.

"Guys we work for International Rescue, I think I speak for both of us when I tell you we know all of that basic training stuff, we practically do it all everyday anyways", Kayo responded.

"Eh you never know, and don't be too sure besides, you know how much we like to worry, especially Dad and Grandma, oh and Virgil too I guess", John joked.

"Hey, at least I let these things cross my mind", Virgil huffed.

"Alight you lot that's enough, Grandma said before an argument could break out, "off you go you two and at least try to get along, that is the point after all."

"Ok!", came a doubled call from the distance, neither had hung around very long.

"Don't forget to follow the path and activities I left for the both of you.", Gordon reminded them as he also called out after them.

"Ok little brother!" Scott echoed back, "see you all soon!"

As their silhouettes faded into the hills of the island ahead of them Gordon couldn't help himself but make one last joke.

"So, when does the party start?", he grinned.

"Very funny son, Jeff said as everyone else just rolled their eyes in response, they weren't that bad."

"Really?", questioned John once everyone had gone back inside, leaving just him standing there, "I swear on some days I could hears them from Thunderbird 5", he said allowed.

"Ya know you shouldn't swear bro, it shows lack of weak vocal skills, you of all people should know that", Gordon added mischievously by poking his head around the corner of the glass retracting door, before quickly scampering off, leading to John chasing him back though the house and upstairs to the sleeping quarters.

"Errrr Gordon!", John yelled as he chased after the yellow aquanaut.

"Mabey we should set up another one of these expeditions if this one is successful after", Jeff mumbled already feeling a headache coming on as he heard the yelling and heavy feet from upstairs, "what do you think mother, it's like living with a bunch of 7 year olds don't you think?"

"Oh yes, the more the merrier, for us at least."
