After receiving an approval from Drake, Sapphire and Korrina got onto their pokemon to explore the cavern. They put on their diving equipment, loaded some supplies and got on their pokemon. They surfed through the inside of the Whirl Islands before they reached the dive spot. Then they went underwater until they reached the cavern. Once they surfaced they discovered a beautiful underwater cave. Korrina got out a flashlight as they looked around. The cave had stalactites on the ceiling that seemed to have some blue gems on them. Everywhere on the walls, floor and ceilings there seemed to be beautiful blue gems.

"Whoa..." said Sapphire. "This looks amazing."

"I know right, I've never seen anything like this before." said Korrina.

"It kinda reminds me of Chargestone Cave, near Fort Mistralton." said Sapphire.

"You're right, but the crystals in Chargestone Cave conduct electricity. And look-" Korrina picked one gem that was a little bigger than her hand. "This here is an uncut Water Stone. All those gems around us are water stones!"

"Cool."

The two girls walked around the small pond they just emerged from before finding a tunnel. They walked together through the tunnel as they continued looking around. All around them there seemed to be different cave drawings depicting people together with pokemon. There were also some inscriptions in Unown symbols, that unfortunately neither girls could read. They kept traversing the cave system before they reached a huge cave with a crystal clear pool. There seemed to be more water stones in this room, so much so that almost the entire cave was blue. The two girls looked around and saw more cave drawings depicting a huge whale-like Pokémon with an orb above it.

"Huh, that kinda looks like Kyogre don't you think?" said Korrina.

"Uh Kor...Look over there." said Sapphire as she pointed her flashlight in the water.

The blonde turned around and gasped as she looked in the water. In the middle of the lake, there was a huge blue whale-like Pokémon with two big pectoral fins. Each fin had four white square-shaped nails and a white chin area with two small spikes protruding under it. It also had red stripes around its chin, eyes, dorsal fins, and torso. It was none other than the legendary pokemon Kyogre.

"Holy shit! Is that fucking Kyogre?!" said Korrina.

"Shhh! Be quiet! Do ya wanna wake it? There's no way we can fight fucking Kyogre." said Sapphire.

"What do we do? I heard that a branch of the terrorist organization called Team Aqua is looking for this thing."

"We go and tell Siebold. He'll call tha main base and they'll probably seal tha entrance. Now come on, I don't wanna know what Kyogre will do if he realizes we were here."

The two girls quietly left the cave and once they reached the original dive spot, they got on their pokemon and went back to the base. They immediately exited the cave and went straight to Siebold's tent. Inside they found the man sitting at a table with paperwork. Next to him was his second in command Sub-Lieutenant Shelly Cascadus. The blonde Lieutenant Commander looked up from his paperwork when he sighted the 2 soldiers.

"Officer Cadet Balanove, Officer Cadet Birch report." said Siebold.

"Sir!" said the two girls as they saluted.

"We have returned from our exploration of the underwater sea cavern." said Korrina.

"Did you find anything?"

"Affirmative." said Sapphire. "We have encountered a cave system that seems to have a large quantity of water stone."

"That is good, we can use this cavern as a supply for evolving pokemon."

"That isn't all sir..." said Sapphire before gulping. "At the end of tha cave system we also found a large body of water. Inside it was a pokemon that we believe to be Kyogre."

Siebold rose from his seat when he heard this. "Kyogre?! Are you sure?"

"Positive." said Korrina.

"This changes a lot of thing...We need to contact the Rear Admiral immediately. Shelly call the main base."

"I'm afraid I cannot do that sir, nor can I let you contact Fort Olivine." said Shelly.

"What?" said Siebold.

"In the name of Team Aqua, I must stop you." said Shelly as she took out her Lombre and ordered a Water Gun that threw Siebold, Korrina and Sapphire through the tent. The three of them landed a few meters away from the tore down tent and looked up in time to see Shelly emerge from it. She got out and raised a hand up that seemed to be holding a blue cloth. "Rise my fellow Team Aqua members! The time has come! Kyogre's location has been found. It's time for us to gather and take over this island!" Then she took the blue cloth and tied it around her head, revealing it to be a blue bandana with the Team Aqua logo. Immediately soldiers started gathering around Shelly and one by one they took out their own bandanas and put it on their head.

"This is bad, we need to stop them immediately!" said Siebold. Siebold took out his Blastoise before he looked at the remaining soldiers that were on his side. "Take them down, we cannot let them reach Kyogre!"

All around them, the soldiers got their pokeballs and began fighting Team Aqua. Sapphire let out Toro and prepared herself to fight alongside her pokemon. (WARNING! WARNING! A\N: This is about to get a bit gory(again), so I suggest you skip this part if you cant handle the theme, I'll put a mark and summary when the gore ends.) As the wave of attackers came, she ordered a powerful Blaze Kick. The attack came in contact with a Mightyena that got burned to a crisp. Sapphire then immediately got out her dagger pair and stabbed a soldier in the heart before taking the knife out.

Then she ran with Toro behind her before reaching another grunt. Toro used Sky Uppercut on a Sealeo and sent it crashing in a pile of sharp rocks where it got impaled. The trainer tried taking out Toro himself using a gun, but Sapphire intercepted him and kicked the gun out of his hand. Then she maneuvered herself in a way that she got behind the grunt and twisted his neck.

Unfortunately, unlike with the first attack, this time the enemy had the upper hand. The soldiers were caught off guard and there were way too many Team Aqua grunts. The soldiers were doing their best, but for the most part it seemed futile. A grunt with a Huntail managed to choke another soldier to death its tail, while another grunt used Seaking's horn to drill through a woman's torso. Sapphire tackled a soldier off of a soldier while Toro dealt with his Kingler. The grunt was quickly stabbed in the neck and left to bleed on the ground.

She was about to go help another soldier when she heard a painful crunch and Toro yell in pain. Sapphire looked back to see that the Kingler managed to catch Toro's leg in his claw. The painful crunch she heard was Toro's bone being crushed.

"Toro! No!" yelled Sapphire. She immediately took out Pilo and ordered a Razor Leaf. The attack hit the Kingler and cut it in a million pieces. She immediately went to her beloved pokemon and threw away the disembodied claw that was still on his leg. The leg was a bloodied mess and she could see bone sticking out. She pet her pokemon to calm it down before returning it to her pokeball. "Thanks Toro, you did your best. I'll get you to a medic soon."

Then she ordered Pilo to use Solar Beam and took out a grunt and his Croconaw. Sapphire continued attacking members of Team Aqua as she desperately tried to defend her island. Unfortunately it all seemed futile as more and more grunts seemed to be winning. Another grunt got behind Sapphire and hit her on the head with the back of his gun. He was about to shoot her when and Aura Sphere tore his chest open. She looked back and saw that it was Korrina that saved her.

Sapphire wobbly got to her feet and put a hand on her temple. Yep, she was definitely concussed. She was about to order another Solar Beam when a bloodied Siebold crashed at her feet. She quickly tried to help the man and noticed he was bleeding from a shot wound in his torso.

"Hang on sir, I need to stop the bleeding." said Sapphire. (A\N: Alrighty, the gore is gone, you can keep reding. As for a summary, the Aqua grunts attacked and the soldiers are being overwhelmed. Sapphire is a badass with Toro but unfortunately the Blaziken gets his leg broken by a Kingler. Then a grunt attacks Sapphire but Korrina saves her before a dying Siebold showes up and Sapphire tries to save him.)

The Lieutenant Commander chuckled bitterly. "No need to waste time, I already know I'm not gonna make it."

"Don't talk like that, ya can make it!"

Siebold shook his head at her. "Sapphire listen to me, the Whirl Islands won't last much longer. I need you to get on your Tropius and go to the main base. Tell Drake what happened."

"I can't just abandon ya all!"

"You're not abandoning us, you are saving us. Please..."

Sapphire looked conflicted but in the end nodded. "Alright, I'll go..."

"Thank you..."said Siebold before he slipped his Mega Bracelet off his hand and gave it to Sapphire. "Here, I want you to have this...Normally only higher ranks are allowed to have it, but I feel like you'll need it."

"Your Mega Bracelet?"

"I do not have a Blazikenite but I'm sure you can find one on your own...Now go! Save us!" Sapphire nodded before she got on Pilo and started flying away. A few grunts tried to stop her but they were quickly stopped by her fellow soldiers. She looked back at Whirl Islands as they became smaller and smaller.

Ruby just got out of the mess hall when he noticed something weird in the sky. He couldn't tell what it was exactly because it was night. He waited patiently for it to near the base but took out Zuzu, who was now Marshtomp, just in case. Ruby looked at the object before realizing it was Tropius and not just any Tropius, Sapphire's. Ruby quickly approached Pilo once it was on the ground and saw a pretty beaten up Sapphire climb off of it.

"Sapphire! What happened, are you ok?" asked Ruby.

"I'm fine but not for long. Team Aqua attacked tha island. I need to get to Drake!"

"But the last attack was a failure, why would they attack again so soon."

"Because we found Kyogre and they plan to capture it."

"W-what?! Kyogre? Are you sure?"

"Positive, I saw it with my own eyes Ruby. They plan to use to take over tha region. Now come on, we have to get to Drake's quickly!"

"Right, you go tell Drake, I'll go get Silver." And with that, the two parted ways to speak to their superiors.
