Meeting an Ascended Ancient and Recovery of Technology
Date: March 7, 2013, Time: 6:41 P.M., Location: Roughly 1.509 million light-years from Earth in the intergalactic Void between the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies; Aboard the bridge of the Tau'ri BC-304 Battle-cruiser: The Athena.
The Commanding officer of the Athena: Colonel Kevin Marks was seating in his command chair reading on a mobile laptop some system reports by his ships compartment section officers to see if any of his ships systems where malfunctioning and needed to be repaired or replaced; As he was reading 1 of his ship's navigator's at her computer terminal station looked on her computer screen that they where fast approaching their final destination coordinates and in a calm tone, Ship navigator "Colonel Marks Sir we are approaching the final destination coordinates."
Colonel Marks brought down the laptop and in a calm tone, Colonel Marks "Thank Lt. Jacobs drop us out of hyper-space a few 1,000 meters from our destination coordinates.(After he said that push his command chair's speaker ship button.) Doctors McKay and Zelenka please report to the Command bridge we're approaching our destination coordinates."
Elsewhere in the BC-304 Mess hall Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka where just going to have dinner when they heard over the ship's speakers "Doctors McKay and Zelenka please report to the Command bridge we're approaching our destination coordinates."
Dr. McKay in a calm and somewhat frustrated tone, Dr. McKay "Why is it that each time we are just going to eat or relax they always call us for something important."
Dr. Zelenka in a in a calm tone, Dr. Zelenka "I know anyway McKay well we better get going.(After he said that he took off his dinner serving plate his turkey sandwich.) Just to have something along the way to not have an empty stomach." After he said that he saw McKay small smile on his face.
Dr. McKay calm and somewhat smug tone, Dr. McKay "Not a bad idea Zelenka." After he said that Dr. McKay as well took off his dinner serving plate his ham sandwich.
Time: 6:45 P.M.
As they where very quickly finishing up their sandwiches that they took with them and came up to the command bridge they felt the ship dropped out of hyper-space. As they came into the command bridge Dr. McKay saw Colonel Marks turn his command chair towards him and in calm tone, Colonel Marks "Dr. McKay we are approaching the coordinates."
Dr. McKay in a calm tone, Dr. McKay "That's good to hear Colonel Marks." After He said that Dr. Mckay when up to the 1 of the command bridges side wall computer screens to check the sensor data from the Athena sensors.
Colonel Marks to Lt. Jacobs "Lt. Jacobs are you picking up our destination on our sensors."
Lt. Jacobs in a calm tone, Lt. Jacobs "Give me a moment Colonel.(After roughly a minute Lt. Jacobs saw something astonishing on her sensors.) Colonel Mark's remind me again do you, Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka say that the ancient warship: Tria is located here alone?"
Before either Colonel Marks and Dr. McKay could answer Dr. Zelenka in a calm tone, Dr. Zelenka "That is correct Lt. Jacobs why do you ask that?"
Before Lt. Jacobs could answer Dr. McKay after checking the ships sensor data in a mostly surprised, a little calm and irritated tone, Dr. McKay "Because Zelenka from what I see and read from these senor reads there are a total of now 3 Aurora class warships in the coordinates of where the lone Tria is located."
Dr. Zelenka in an equally surprised and a little calm tone, Dr. Zelenka "What how's that possible Mckay?"
Dr. McKay "I don't know Zelenka its a mystery."
Colonel Marks in a calm and somewhat frustrated tone, Colonel Marks "Alright Doctors McKay and Zelenka this is fascinating can you tell me what our sensors are telling us of these ships?"
Dr. McKay in calm tone, Dr. McKay "Well according to our sensors all the ships have minimal power; 1 of them has it life support offline; All of them have their hyper-dives offline; 1 in addition of losing it's hyper-dive seems to have it sub-light engines damaged; 1 of them appears to have it's front nose part being blown off; As well has its bridge destroyed."
Colonel Marks in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Strange Dr. McKay the way you described the ships damage and systems offline sound similar to the Orion and the Aurora ships we found years ago?"
Just as Colonel Marks finished his statement Lt. Jacobs saw something on the ships sensors, Lt. Jacob "Colonel Marks our sensors are detecting a strange energy anomaly at a range of 45,000 meters and rapping coming toward us."
Colonel Marks in a curious surprised and commanding tone, Colonel Marks "What! Lt. Jacobs quickly raise shields!"
Lt. Jacobs "Yes sir!"
After the ships shields when up Colonel Marks still in a concerned and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Lt. Jacobs can you try put the in real time visual video of the energy anomaly rapping coming toward us."
Lt. Jacobs "I can try Colonel.(After Lt. Jacobs finished her statement she brought up the real time visual video of the energy anomaly rapping coming toward them; As the strange energy anomaly was rapping coming toward them all the command Bridge crew-men had various looks of awe on their faces.) My god it's beautiful; Contact with the strange energy anomaly in 3,2,1."
After she said that all the crew saw the strange energy anomaly make contact with the ships shields; As the strange energy anomaly make contact with Athena's shield Lt. Jacobs read and saw from Athena's sensors that the strange energy anomaly pass right through the shields as if they won't there before the reading from the ships sensors with the strange energy anomaly disappearing.
Colonel Marks in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "What just happened?"
Lt. Jacobs "Unknown Colonel according to the ships sensors the strange energy anomaly pass right through the shields and then it disappeared."
Before Colonel Marks could answer Dr. McKay "Strange and interesting."
Colonel Marks "That it is Dr. McKay do you have a possible answer for what that strange energy anomaly is?"
Dr. McKay "Sorry Colonel Marks I'm drawing a blank." After he finished his statement all the command bridge crew saw a strange energy anomaly appear in front of the command bridge.
Time: 6:50 P.M.
All present on the command bridge the crew saw a beautiful red head woman form from the strange energy anomaly; After the strange energy anomaly took what looked like a human form as possible an avatar to communicate with them the crew had a mixture of both awe inspiring and terrified looks on their faces; With seeing that the beautiful red head woman in calm and somewhat echoing tone "Greets people of the Tau'ri I have been waiting for you, My name is Circe."
Dr. Zelenka was the 1st to gain enough courage and curiosity and in a humbly calm and curious tone, Dr. Zelenka "Ms. Circe are you what we call an ascended ancient?"
Ms. Circe in a calm tone, Ms. Circe "Why yes Dr. Zelenka I'm what you call an Ascended ancient."
Dr. Zelenka in a curious tone, Dr. Zelenka "How do you know how I am?"
Before Circe could answer Dr. McKay in a calm and a little irritated tone, McKay "That is because Dr. Zelenka from what I learned with my discussions with Dr. Jackson; As well with on what he's willing to share; From what Daniel tells me from what he remembers is that when the ancients learned how to ascend to a high Plan of existence they have gained near omniscient presence where they able to see everything and everyone on a universal level constantly."
Dr. Zelenka "So your saying McKay is that they can see the Past, Present and Future universal events on a Universal level."
Before Dr. McKay could answer Ms. Circe in a calm tone, Ms. Circe "Actually Dr. McKay and Zelenka it's most more complex than that; 1st Daniel Jackson was almost correct we do after we ascend to a high Plan of existence and have gained near omniscient presence there is a limit to our omniscient presence; We can see the Past and Present but we can't see the future events but was can try to make predictions of future events from observing Past and Present universal events."
After Ms. Circe explanation Colonel Mark in calm and somewhat frustrated tone, Colonel Mark "All of this is interesting but I think all of us here would like to know why are you here? I though it was against the rules for ascended beings to interfere in the low Planes? As well are you the 1 who how somehow brought 2 ancient warships that look remarkably similar to the Aurora and the Orion we found years ago?"
Ms. Circe "My dear Colonel to your 1st question yes it is against the rules for us ascended being to interfere in the low Planes; However ever since you guys use the Sangraal or the Holy grail as you guys call it which neutralized the cosmic powers roughly 1/2 of all ascended beings and most of the ascended Ori in both what us guys call the Milky and Ori Galaxies; As well with 1 of our own Morgan Le Fay sacrificing herself to fight the Oirci Adria to end their Crusade against your galaxy; As well freeing most of the inhabits of the Ori home galaxy from their evil influence; We all you guys of done to save the universe from our ancient enemies we have after much debate between ourselves have decided to give you guys some of our old toys for you guys to study and use."
Time: 7:00 P.M.
Dr. McKay in a calm and curious tone, Dr. McKay "So that's why they let you interfere just this once in the lower planes. You used your cosmic power to recreate the ships: Orion and the Aurora for us to use."
Ms. Circe "How Preceptive of you Dr. McKay you are a clever Human to come to that conclusion and your mostly correct. I have used my cosmic power to recreate the Ships you call the Orion and the Aurora; However I recreated them to the conditions you guys original found them with the exception of the Aurora's crew that was in asleep have removed them and allowed them to rest in peace; As well with the Wraith scout that was infiltrating the Aurora."
Colonel Marks in a curious and calm tone, Colonel Marks "Ms. Circe why would you recreate the Ships: the Orion and the Aurora to mostly the conditions we original found them in?"
Ms. Circe "Because My dear Colonel we Ascend beings can't do everything for you lower Plane mortals; As well this is only a 1 time thing Colonel Marks for you see for we ascended beings we have original after ascension agreed to not interfere in any major way that would cause major problems or a cosmic level; However we did agree that we could subtly influence some events; Like giving an idea through a dream like what Adria did for Vala when you guys where trying to find the Sangraal; Anyway Colonel, Doctors McKay, Zelenka and Lt. Jacobs My time is up on the lower planes; Oh 1 last thing Dr. McKay, Dr. Zelenka and Colonel my fellow ascended being agreed to allow me to give you guys with 7 Full Powered and ready to use what is call ZMP's that are on the Tria in a 3 briefcases with 1 on each ship; I have as well used my cosmic powers to recharged the deleted ZMP's you guys have in storage so that when your people check on them you well for them full charged and ready for use;(Ms. Circe shifted her tone of voice into an awe inspiring calm tone.) Use them wisely People of the Tau'ri for you are 5th Race; As well are our children of the Ancients and thus most continue the legacy of the 4 Great Races." With that Ms. Circe vanished.
Both Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka had a surprise look on their faces and Dr. Zelenka in a surprised and curious tone to everyone Present, Dr. Zelenka "Where did she go?"
Dr. McKay in a calm tone, Dr. McKay "Zelenka she has returned back to the high planes of existence for her task is done; As for ours it has just began and we have a lot of work to do."
Colonel Marks "Indeed we do now Dr. Mckay and Dr. Zelenka judging by our sensor readings all the ships have minimal power levels unit we connect the ZMP's Circe left for us; As with all of them is various states of damage which ships do your teams want to focus on?"
Both Dr. Mckay and Dr. Zelenka turned away from Colonel Marks and quietly discussed among themselves for roughly a minute.
After that they turned back towards Colonel Marks and Dr. McKay and in calm tone, Dr. McKay "I think my team along with some of your ships engineers and repair crews will focus on getting the Aurora back up and running and ready for a trip back to the Gamma Site for full repairs;(He shifted towards Zelenka) As for my colleague Zelenka both he and his team will focus on getting the Tria back up and running and ready for a trip back to the Alpha site; As for the Orion Colonel if any of your crew like Dr. Kavanagh that has experience in working with ancient Technology and know not causing serious problems for us can take it their own team and repair the Orion and get it back up and running and ready for back to the Alpha site."
Colonel Marks "Very Well Dr. Mckay,(Colonel Marks shifted his tone to a calm smug and curious tone.) You do realize the Aurora has no life support online and that you guys well need to wear air tie life support suits before your able to get its life support back online and operational; As well has command bridge destroyed and it's frontal bow nose blow off; how do you guy intend to fix that problem we don't have the resources currently available to fully repair command bridge the frontal bow nose of the Aurora?"
Dr. McKay in a calm and irritated tone, Dr. McKay "I'm well aware of that Colonel Marks; The 1st Problem is easy it's the 2nd one that is hard; As you said Colonel we don't have the resources currently available to fully repair the blow up nose of the Aurora; However we could at best we possible could gather enough materials to repair the command bridge as well to possible repair the outer hull frame of the front nose to create a nose shell to make the ship flyable again."
Colonel Marks "Very Well Dr. McKay just checking to see if you know what the situation is."
Time-skip: March 13, 2013, Time: 8:30 A.M.
Over the last 5 days of working around the clock to get the Ancient warships back up and running and ready for travel; Along with the repairs they where able to connect(1 to each ship.) the ZMP's Circe gifted them to all the ships major systems; In making the repairs to the Aurora(Which took up most of their time.) Dr. McKay's team, engineers and repair crews from the Athena where able to fully restore the command bridge of the Aurora back and operational; They have is well have been able repair the outer hull frame of the front nose to create a nose shell to make the ship flyable again; Along with repairs the outer hull frame of the front nose to create a nose shell they have seal off all the damaged or destroyed comparts the war damage during the Lantean/Wraith war to not have the atmosphere of the ship vacuum out; All with all the ships to the Aurora Dr. McKay and his team updated the hyper-dive systems of the Aurora from Interstellar to Intergalactic for the long journey back to the Gamma Site; Along with the repairs Aurora it only took Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka teams it took them a few hours to making the repairs to both the Orion and Tria to have them ready for travel.
Location: Athena's conference room, Time: 8:30 A.M.
In the Athena's conference room was Colonel Marks with a recent progress reports from Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka; along with both Dr. McKay, Dr. Zelenka and Dr. Kavanagh seating on both his right and left; Colonel Marks in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Alright Dr. McKay and Dr. Zelenka from what I read from your recent progress you guys have finished your guys major repairs? Tell me are all the Ancient warships ready for flight and to head to our off-world bases for major repairs and possible upgrades."
Dr. McKay in a calm tone, Dr. McKay "According to my team all systems on the Aurora check out and are operational and ready; We are just waiting for you to give the order to head to our destinations."
Dr. Zelenka in a calm tone, Dr. Zelenka "Both myself and my team also like Dr. McKay and his team all our systems on the Tria check out and are operational and ready to go on your orders."
Dr. Kavanagh in a calm tone, Dr. Kavanagh "As is my team we're ready and waiting for your orders."
Colonel Marks "Very well Doctors McKay, Zelenka and Kavanagh.(Colonel Mark turned his attention to Dr. McKay.) Alright Dr. McKay I'm giving you command Personal command of the Aurora and I given you permission to take it to the Gamma site for repairs and to have ready for battle; As well for possible research when not combat or on assignment."
Dr. McKay "Thank Colonel Marks both myself and team will beam to the Aurora to take it to the Gamma site."
Colonel Marks in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Before you head out Mr. McKay I wonder how fast is the Ancient Intergalactic Hyper-dive and how soon will you have at the Gamma site?"
Dr. McKay "Well from what we know from the ancient database from Atlantis; The Ancient's most advanced Intergalactic hyper-dive before they ascended could without the need of a ZMP a warship could travel across the Intergalactic Void between the Milky Way and Pegasus Galaxies in 7 days and almost 8 hours to reach Earth; However with a ZMP powering the power ship and it's intergalactic hyper-dive it can take the ship across the Intergalactic Void between the Milky Way and Pegasus Galaxies in 2 days and a little more than 22ΒΌ hours to reach Earth. So to answer your question according to the ships navigation computer calculations it would take roughly a day, 10 hours and roughly 53 minutes to reach the Gamma Site Planet with a ZMP Powering the Ship."
Colonel Marks in calm and somewhat surprised tone, Colonel Marks "Ready wow that incredibly fast."
Dr. McKay "Yes it is Colonel Marks now if you excuse me I have to get going."
Colonel Marks "Of course have a good trip home Dr. McKay."
Dr. McKay "Thank you Colonel Marks(After said that he when up to the conference rooms wall to the ship's intercom system and opened a channel to the beaming control room and in a calm and somewhat commanding tone.); This is Dr. McKay to Sgt. Michaelson please come."
Sgt. Michaelson in a calm tone, Sgt. Michaelson "Sgt. Michaelson here."
Dr. McKay "Please inform the rest of my team that we are going to beam over to the Aurora to take the ship to the Gamma site."
Sgt. Michaelson "Copy that Dr. McKay."
Dr. McKay "Oh by the way Sgt. Michaelson can you beam me over to the Aurora."
Sgt. Michaelson "Of course Dr. McKay." After that Sgt. Michaelson beamed Dr. McKay to the Aurora.
Time: 8:45 A.M.
After Dr. McKay was beam out of the conference room Colonel Marks turned his attention to Dr. Zelenka and in a calm tone, Colonel Marks "Dr. Zelenka I'm giving you command Personal command of the Tria and I given you permission to take it to the Alpha site for repairs and to have ready for battle; As well for possible research when not combat or on assignment."
Dr. Zelenka "Thank Colonel Marks both myself and team will beam to the Tria to take it to the Alpha site."
Colonel Marks in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Before you head out Dr. Zelenka I wonder how long will it take you to get to the Alpha site?"
Dr. Zelenka "Well according to the ships navigation computer calculations it would take roughly a day, 10 hours and 48 minutes to reach the Alpha Site Planet with a ZMP Powering the Ship."
Colonel Marks again in calm and somewhat surprised tone, Colonel Marks "Ready wow that incredibly fast."
Dr. Zelenka "Yes it is Colonel Marks now if you excuse me I have to get going."
Colonel Marks "Of course have a good trip home Dr. McKay."
Dr. Zelenka "Thank you Colonel Marks(After said that he when up to the conference rooms wall to the ship's intercom system and opened a channel to the beaming control room and in a calm and somewhat commanding tone.); This is Dr. Zelenka to Sgt. Michaelson please come."
Sgt. Michaelson in a calm tone, Sgt. Michaelson "Sgt. Michaelson here."
Dr. Zelenka "Please inform the rest of my team that we are going to beam over to the Tria to take the ship to the Alpha site."
Sgt. Michaelson "Copy that Dr. Zelenka."
Dr. Zelenka "Oh by the way Sgt. Michaelson can you beam me over to the Tria."
Sgt. Michaelson "Of course Dr. Zelenka" After that Sgt. Michaelson beamed Dr. Zelenka to the Tria.
Time: 8:55 A.M.
After Dr. McKay was beam out of the conference room Colonel Marks turned his attention to Dr. Kavanagh and in a calm tone, Colonel Marks "Dr. Kavanagh I'm giving you command Personal command of the Orion and I given you permission to take it to the Alpha site for repairs and to have ready for battle; As well for possible research when not combat or on assignment."
Dr. Kavanagh "Thank Colonel Marks both myself and team will beam to the Orion to take it to the Alpha site."
Colonel Mark in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Marks "Before you head out Dr. Kavanagh I assume judging with your ship going with Dr. McKay's ship it would take the same amount of time to reach the Alpha site?"
Dr. Kavanagh "Yes it will Colonel Marks; Now if you excuse me I have to get going."
Colonel Marks "Very Well have a good trip to the Alpha site Dr. Kavanagh."
Dr. Kavanagh "Thank you Colonel Marks(After said that he when up to the conference rooms wall to the ship's intercom system and opened a channel to the beaming control room and in a calm and somewhat commanding tone.); This is Dr. Kavanagh to Sgt. Michaelson please come."
Sgt. Michaelson in a calm tone, Sgt. Michaelson "Sgt. Michaelson here."
Dr. Kavanagh "Please inform the rest of my team that we are going to beam over to the Orion to take the ship to the Alpha site."
Sgt. Michaelson "Copy that Dr. Kavanagh."
Dr. Kavanagh "Oh by the way Sgt. Michaelson can you beam me over to the Orion."
Sgt. Michaelson "Of course Dr. Kavanagh" After that Sgt. Michaelson beamed Dr. Kavanagh to the Orion.
Time: 9:00 A.M
After of the scientists and engineers beamed off his ship Colonel Marks when up to the conference rooms wall to the ship's intercom system and opened a channel command bridge to Lt. Jacobs and in a calm commanding tone, Colonel Marks "Lt. Jacobs this Colonel Marks please come in."
Lt. Jacobs in a calm tone, Lt. Jacobs "Lt. Jacobs here sir."
Colonel Marks "Lt. Jacobs it's time to go home. Please set a course for Earth and engage hyper-dive."
Lt. Jacobs "Yes sir right away." After a few seconds Colonel Mark felt the Athena enter subspace; With that both the Athena and all the Ancient ships headed for their Galactic destinations.
