'Gabriella, are you alright?'

A huge pan of delicious smelling steaks shattered onto the ground, and it wasn't the first time she messed things up since that night she and Zac had sex in her kitchen. Since that night, her mind was everywhere but where she was at that moment. This was so not like her. Not at all.

She grabbed the pan and threw it into the huge sink next to her.

'Let me do that miss Montez.. I..'

'No it's fine Leo, I made me mess, I'll clean it up.' She said to her intern cook.

Leo nodded and continued stirring the sauce. Gabriella took a bag and threw the steaks into it. She sighed and walked to the back to the bit container and threw the bag in it. As she leaned against the wall from her restaurant she sighed. This never happened to her. Never something in her life fucked her up

– literally this time- like this. She had gone through so much the last 15 years and just one night with her ex and her mind exploded. . . .Her.

I thought dinner with our family was fun right? Fynn said.

He rolled a basketball onto his finger as he looked at his brother and sister. They both nodded.

' Zac couldn't get his eyes of off mom, did you guys see that?' Nora said smiling. 'I really think we have a good shot to get them back together.'

' It would be great Nora, but..'

'But what?'

' Have you noticed mom's behavior the days after dinner? It's like she's not even here. I asked her something a couple of times but it's like she's deaf, or ignoring me.' Luka said with a frown.

' I thought I was the only one who noticed that. 'Nora said biting her lip.

' Zac was helping cleaning up, did something happen there? Maybe they had a fight about something? Or maybe about us? I mean, there was alcohol and we don't know if Zac has a bad drunk. I swear if he did something to mom I never want to see him again. And I will kick his ass.' Luka said mad.

' Maybe mom or Zac told Shar something?' Fynn said.

' Great idea, let's go see her.' Luka said jumping up from the chair. ' Is she working or..'

Nora laughed. 'Working? Shar have people working for her. We have to call her, maybe she's in Maui for all we know.' Nora grabbed her phone and dealed her number and waited.

Zac invited Sharpay for lunch at Jacks. He was determined not to tell her what happened but since she was the only one who might understand he wanted her advice.

'That's not what I mean Shar, what to do with Gabriella?'

' You said that you wanted to focus on them, and leave things with Gabriella. Oh wait, you had dinner with your family last Saturday! How did that go? Did your parents love her, ofcourse they did. Gabriella is adorable and also the kids. '

' Yes Shar, she is adorable. She's also the best mother for our kids and she's so sweet, and nice and don't forget super sexy and..'

' What happened?'

' Something that both of us didn't plan on happening Shar.'

'Let me guess, you guys made out.'

Zac looked at Sharpay with his ocean blue eyes. Unable to speak. Her eyes widened.

' Oh no you didn't'

Sharpay's phone rang. She looked at the ID and back at Zac. 'I'll be right back.' She got up and walked into the garden. 'Hi sweetie, what's up?'

' Shar, did mom tell you something about last Saturday? We think that something happened because she is clearly not herself.'

Sharpay heard the sadness in Nora's voice. ' No I haven't talked to your mother since she's super busy in the restaurant, why?'

' The guys and I think something happened because she's ignoring us. Or we think she's doing it or something bad happened and we don't know what to do. Or did you hear something from Zac? Have you spoken to him?'

' No.. I.. I.. haven't spoken to him either, but you know what I will call both of them and figure it out okay?'

'Thank you Shar, bye love you!'

'Love you too sweetie, bye.'

Sharpay hung up the phone, waited a few seconds before storming back inside.

'What the hell did you do?'

'Shar, me and Gabriella we had sex in the kitchen.'

'WHAT?'

And before Zac knew, Sharpay was slapping his arm a few times and between every slap she said a word. ' You. Freaking. Moron. Do. You. Even . Know. What. You. Did. To . The . People. Around. You.?'

'Shar, what the hell stop hitting me. I know what I did was wrong! I didn't plan on doing it and I'm sure Gabriella didn't either. It just happened, I'm not lying!'

' Have you spoken her since? Because according to your daughter Gabriella is not in a right place. They are worried. '

Zac looked worried. ' What do you mean?'

'I'm not the one to tell you, but you should talk to Gabriella about it otherwise things will go from bad to worse.'

'What do you mean?'

' YOU were Gabriella's first. Then and now.'

' What do you mean then and now. I..'

His eyes widened.

' I'm her first since, the first time 15 years ago? How did she survive on that? I would explode.'

Sharpay hit him again. 'That's because she didn't had the time to date or even go out you stupid idiot. Go to Gabriella and talk about it! Her emotion are all over the place. The kids are worried but I am too. I've seen this before when you knocked her up and she was on the edge of a breakdown.'

Zac immediately got up, grabbed his jacket and walked off. He got into his car and immediately drove to the triple angel. He got really worried about Shar's words. It felt like a life or death situation. He arrived and parked hi car, got out and runned inside the building. He looked around him but didn't see her.

' Can I help you sir?'

'Yes, I'm looking for Gabriella Montez the owner. Is she here?'

'No sir, she left an hour ago.'

' Is she at home?'

' I don't know sir.'

Zac groaned. ' Okay, thank you.'

He runned out of the building. Where would she be? She wasn't at home otherwise Nora wouldn't have called so she's somewhere else. He grabbed his phone and called Sharpay. '

' Did you talk to her?'

' I can't find her Shar, she's not at her work. Where can she be? '

' Go to Aloha'

'Does that place still exist?'

' Just go.'

He hung up the phone, got into his car and drove to the beach. He parked his car and immediately recognized Gabriella's red bike.

'she cycled?' He muttered.

He walked into the beach, took of his shoes and looked around. There was no one at Aloha's so Gabriella must be walking somewhere. But where too? He took a guess and went left. He kept on walking for a few minutes before seeing a brunette walking into his direction.

'Gabriella?'

The brunette looked up.

'Zac?'

They walked up to each other. Zac looked worried and Gabriella confused.

'Uh okay, why are you here Zac? '

'I was looking for you.'

'You look worried, are you alright? '

' Yes, I'm fine but are you?'

' Uh yes, why wouldn't I be?'

'Well I..'

Gabriella sighed. 'Who was it?'

'Sharpay but also Nora. Nora called Shar a little panicked because they were worried about you and Sharpay told me to look for you immediately because she was scared that something was seriously wrong with you after Saturday because I told her what happened and now I'm here to see if you are okay because of Saturday because I don't know…'

Gabriella wrapped his head. ' Wow, wait stop talking. Try to breathe. '

' But are you okay? Shar told me that I am your first since… me. '

Gabriella looked into Zac's eyes and nodded. 'That's true. And you guys were also right to be a bit worried. But I learned from 15 years ago. I admit, since Saturday I just don't know what to do or think.'

' Why?'

She sighed. 'Because this means something to me Zac and I'm so scared it didn't mean anything to you. I've heard the stories about you living your life and of course let's not forget Stella. For you sex is nothing.'

Zac looked at her, trying to find some tears but there weren't any. Chad was right, she build up a wall around her heart to protect herself.

'Gabriella.'

' It's okay, I understand I guess.'

'No you don't.'

He lift her head up to look deeply into her eyes. 'I know what this means. It took me a while to figure it out but after what happened Saturday I..'

'So, after sex you remembered that it could be fun to be with me?' Gabriella said sarcastic.

'No, when I saw you doing what you love. Cooking. Being with family and give them a great feeling. That's when I remembered 15 years ago when I fell in love in you. I think that feeling never really left. Those girls were just to, I don't know for fun but after Saturday I know.'

'You know what?'

'That I want this. I want you. I want the kids. I want to be with you.'

Gabriella looked into his eyes so see a lie. But he looked at her with small tears forming his eyes and before she knew it, tears formed into her eyes as well.

' Are those tears miss Montez? Am I giving you emotions?'

Gabriella laughed. ' Shut up and kiss me'

And that's what he did.
