By the time Christmas break was over both boys were waiting to see each other and tell the other what they got for Christmas and exchange Christmas presents. "Ok guys they didn't move the bus so everybody to the bus once you grab your suitcase." The first thing to come was Devin's wheelchair and walker and his backpack.
Blaine helped him over to his walker and as soon as he was standing in it you could see his baby bump. Devin looked down at his feet. "Dev don't worry I know we are back in Ohio but tomorrow you will be back at school."
One person who was waiting for her own stuff took one look at Kurt Blaine and Devin and made a comment under her breath. "What did you say you don't say anything mean to my big brother." Everybody turned their attention to Kairah because normally she would be quiet and let one of her older siblings take care of it or Kurt and Blaine. "You don't mess with my big brother."
Kurt watched as Kairah step on the ladies' foot and was about to do it again when she was picked up by Honey. "Honey put me down I don't like it when you do that I'm not a baby." Honey had a good grip on her and never once looked like she would drop her. "I think I see the rest of our suitcases." Kurt and Blaine got them and headed them to the right people.
Kurt Blaine and the kids made it back to the place where they leave and standing right by the door was Nick Jeff Jacob and Dillon. Honey and Devin ran over to their boyfriends while Kurt and Blaine hugged Nick and Jeff. "Guys what are you doing here?" "Dillon didn't want to wait until tomorrow to see Devin so we drove up here." Kurt and Jeff looked over to see Dillon and Devin making out and their respective twin laughing at them.
"Uncle Nick Devin told us that he was going to be a daddy." Nick looked at Kurt and Blaine then looked down at Kairah. "Is that true?" "Yes." Nick looked over at Devin who was talking to Jacob and Dillon. The only problem was that Devin had his back to them.
Over with Jacob Dillon and Devin
"So how did your parents take it?" "Do you remember when I went to the hospital and on instinct I gave them my Moom's number?" Devin watched as they nodded. "Well the doctors told him and I didn't have to tell them but I did have to tell my siblings." "How did they take it?" "Kairah was confused Honey was upset and Sadies Eli and Mary were all happy for me."
Two weeks later
"Devin wake up it's time for school." Devin got up and stretched. "Dill can you hand me my crutches I want to use them today." Dillon handed them to Devin and watched as he walked into the bathroom. "So Devin how do you use them?" "It's mainly in my hands and legs but it's a great way to get stronger." "No fair Devin your taller than me now." "Dillon I'm always taller than you."
"Well you can't see it when your in your wheelchair." "Dillon do you want to know what my biggest dream is?" "What?" "To walk cross the stage with no walker no crutches no wheelchair just me." "Devin do you think it's possible?" Devin looked over at Dillon hurt by what he said. "I'm going to my first class it takes me a while when I use my crutches."
Dillon watched as Devin left and he felt bad but he was thinking realistically and knew that it was Devin's lower part of his body that he struggles with. Dillon sighed and went his way to the dining hall because he knew that Devin wouldn't eat if he was mad but he also knew that it was bad for the baby if he skipped breakfast.
Dillon made it down to the dining hall and was surprised to see Devin sitting down at their normal table. Devin had changed from his crutches to his wheelchair and was picking at his breakfast. Dillon walked over to Devin and hugged him from behind. He watched as Devin looked up from his food and turned his attention to Dillon.
"I'm sorry Devin I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." "Dillon that really hurt me to hear it from you I know that it might not be possible but I always thought you and my family were going to believe in me." "I do believe in you and I'm truly sorry." Dillon walked over to the sighed and gave Devin a kiss on the cheek.
