Roxy's Point of View

"Brother, your needed in the throne room." it was Caius talking to Marcus, who was still in fact scaring me. From what I had learned from the garden, he's usually not the type of person to act out of control, he was more mellow than anything. There came a growl from Marcus as he turned to Caius, "Brother, what's wrong?" I had the feeling he knew what was wrong since he looked at me in questioning, "Usually I'm the uncontrollable one."

Marcus finally took a deep breath and started to calm down, getting himself under control. He finally started talking, "What am I needed for?" Caius looked distasteful, was whatever it was really that bad? Or was it just Caius being Caius? I wasn't sure since I didn't really know him that well.

"It's the Cullen coven, they've decided to come to Volterra." The coven part was worrying me. Coven was usually what you called a group of vampires, so am I going to become a juice box accidentally? I honestly didn't know and wasn't hoping to find out.

"Roxanne, I would suggest staying in your room while there here." Oh, so what happened to staying with one of them at all times? I grudgingly had to admit, I didn't want to leave Marcus. Even if only for a little bit, "Goodbye Roxanne, I would like to see you again soon." I didn't reply before he used vampire speed to leave the vicinity.

Aro's Point of View

Caius had returned with Marcus recently and now we were waiting for the Cullen's. The thing most human's didn't know was that vampires could have yellow eyes. Something Carlisle asked me to keep a secret all those years ago so they could keep their normal 'human' routines.

He had always been a good friend of mine and I agreed. I was quite glad he had come to Volterra. It really had been too long, however, it would have been better if he came later, after our mates feelings had been sorted out.

To my confusion, I heard not only one heartbeat, but two. There should only be one since Giana was the only human in our workspace. The double doors opened, and Giana followed by the Cullen's entered the throne room.

Along with the family members I knew from our correspondences. There was a human, chocolate brown hair and brown eyes, "Carlisle! It has been far too long!" He nodded, and we embraced, "I missed you as well." His every thought flowed through my mind before I was really able to move again.

Sometimes, I really wished I didn't have my gift, since it could be a curse sometimes. Roxanne might never what to touch me with skin since I would be probing her mind whether I wished to or not. I turned myself back to the matter at hand. The human, I gathered, was Bella, Edwards human mate.
