She slowly opened her eyes. Batgirl didn't know where she was? All she remembered was falling unconscious after getting hit on the head.
Two faces as white as snow smiled at her. It was The Joker and his crazy sidekick, Harleen Quinzel or Harley Quinn.
Batgirl tried to move but found that she was strapped against a wall or something.
"Hello, Bratgirl!" Said Harley Quinn with a smile. "It's about time you woke up, me and Mr. J thought I hit ya with my mallet too hard!"
"Harleen Quinzel." Said Batgirl. "What do you want?"
Joker grinned evilly. "Straight to the point. I like that." He turned to look at his hench girl. "Don't you Harley?"
The clown girl jumped up in the air and giggled while looking at Batgirl. "Yes, Mr. J!"
Joker walked up to the heroine. "Honestly, it was stupid of you to come here without Bats!" He grabbed her face. "Just what did you expect? Was it that you'll take me and Harl back to Arkham?" He asked.
"Actually, I didn't plan on coming here, it just so happened," She looked over at the clown hench girl. "Harley hit me in the back of the head with her hammer," Batgirl stated sarcastically.
Joker let go of her face and laughed. "Oh yes, I forgot that I had you brought here for a very special reason." He looked at Harley. "What was that again, Pooh?"
Harley looked at the ceiling like she was thinking and then back at the Joker. "I recall you saying." She looked at Batgirl with an evil grin. "You wanted her to smile for a change."
Joker slapped his forehead. "Silly me I forgot! How was I going to do that again?" He asked Harley.
Batgirl cringed at the thought of what these two clowns had in store for her. Whatever it was, didn't sound good at all.
Harley looked at Batgirl then at Joker. "I have an idea."
"Well, then I leave it to you then my dear," Joker told her.
He patted his hench girl on the head and then left the room. Harley waited until he was gone then she walked over to the captured heroine.
"Harleen don't do this! Don't listen to Joker!" Batgirl yelled at the clown girl.
Harley looked at the heroine with a childish stare then rested her head on her side. "I'm sorry, but Harleen isn't available. Please leave your number after the beep. Beep!"
Batgirl realized that there was no use trying to talk to Harleen. She was loyal to the clown prince of crime and always has been.
Harley studied Batgirl. "Hmm, I know just what will make you happy!" She said with a grin.
Harley then left the room and came back seconds later humming a made-up tune while pushing a metal table with stuff on it.
She stopped next to Batgirl and smiled at her. "What do you plan to do Harley?" Asked Batgirl with a worried look.
"You'll see, but first I want to know the big mystery about who is Batgirl?" She said.
The harlequin grabbed Batgirl's mask and pulled it off. Underneath was the youthful face of Barbara Gordon. Harley was understandably surprised. "So, it's the police commissioner's daughter? Interesting!"
"I don't care if you know my identity," Harley looked at Barbara while she grabbed a can of white paint. "Or anyone else does! With or without the mask, I'll make sure you stay in Arkham!" Said Barbara.
Harley laughed while holding the can in her right arm. "I'm sorry, but without the bat, your speeches aren't frightening!" Harley grinned evilly. "Bats are overrated and you could use a new identity. Don't you agree, Barbara?"
She then opened the can of white paint and a small cloth. Harley put the cloth in the paint and put it close to the captured heroine's face. She carefully wiped some on Barbara's face.
The girl tried to wiggle, but Harley grabbed her face and applied some more white face paint on her.
It wasn't long until Barbara Gordon was as white as Joker and Harley.
The former psychiatrist then slipped on a domino mask like hers over the heroine's eyes.
She then pulled up a little mirror and let Barbara see what she did to her. "There we go, how do you feel?" Asked Harley Quinn. "I hope you like it!" She squealed.
The commissioner's daughter gave a sour face. Harley saw this and grabbed red lipstick. "Now the finishing touch." She rubbed the lipstick all over Barbara's lips and made sure to hold the captured heroine still. Eventually, her lips matched Harley Quinn and she sort of resembled her.
"All done! I think you'll enjoy your new look!" Harley said with a smile.
Barbara didn't smile and was very unhappy about what Harleen Quinzel has done to her.
Harley put her hands on her hips and then Joker walked over to her. "Darn! I thought for sure Bratgirl would smile!" She said with a pouty look on her face.
"Well, if I smile can't make her happy, then why don't we go with the good old fashioned plan B," Joker said with a grin.
Harley smiled at Joker and then at Batgirl. "Yeah, I think she could use a chemical bath!" The former psychiatrist said with a smile.
"Chemical...Bath?" Barbara Gordon said with fear.
The clown sidekick jumped in the air. "That's right! We're going to get you to smile and laugh! You'll be as happy as us!" She squealed.
Joker grinned at her. "Then, you'll be my other sidekick."
"That won't happen to me!" Argued the clown-faced heroine.
Harley grabbed Joker's shoulder and looked at Barbara Gordon. "You think Mister J started out like this? It was those chemicals that made him this way!"
"Y-You won't do that." Shivered the clown-faced Barbara Gordon.
Harley walked over to her. "Bats are overrated Bratgirl, besides I think clowns suit you fine." She said with an evil smile on her face. "Don't worry it's not painful and it'll be over before you know it," She looked at Joker. "Right, Mr. J?"
"Wait let me help you both! I can get you some much needed help in Arkham!" She pleaded.
Joker looked at Harley. "Pooh, I think Batman has too many sidekicks."
The former psychiatrist grinned evilly at Barbara Gordon. "I 100% agree with you, puddin! Maybe we need a sidekick of our own!" Suggested Harley.
"But your Joker's sidekick!" Argued Batgirl.
"No he's my lover!" Said Harley Quinn.
Joker then kissed her on the cheek and the former psychiatrist squealed. The clown prince of crime then reached into his suit pocket and pulled out a tiny remote. After he pressed it the floor opened up and a huge vat of chemicals was seen. It covered the middle of the room.
Joker laughed. "How do you like it? I had it specially prepared for such an occasion. Hahahaha!"
Suddenly the window behind them broke and out was a dark figure. Barbara recognized it as Batman!
"Let Batgirl go now!" Commanded Batman.
"Oh Batman, no need to be formal, we already know who she is."
He then looked at his clown-faced partner. "Barbara!" Said Batman.
"That's more like it!" Joker then punched Batman in the face. He then looked at Harley Quinn and tossed the remote to her. "Harl could you take care of the other rodent?"
"Sure thing puddin!" Said the clown girl with an evil smile.
Joker rolled up his sleeves. "I'll deal with Batman!"
