"No" Zelena said and sobbed. This couldn't be happening. "You! This is all your fault " she growled and glared at Rumple who was perfectly healthy again.
"Your mother did you no favors " He told her.
"How would you know, you twisted imp!" Zelena said angrily.
Regina shoke her head and cried. "I love you too, Mother " she sobbed and cradled her mother's head in her lap. She leaned down and kissed her forehead.
The air suddenly filled with magic and Cora woke up with a gasp.
"Mother?" Snow asked confused. How was that possible? Her mother was dead.
Zelena was equally confused and shocked. She looked at the imp. He was also alive and well. How was that possible?
Cora smiled as she sat up. "My girls" she said tenderly and hugged Zelena and Snow and then turned to Regina. She felt so guilty. She had allowed herself to love her enemy's child but Regina had been innocent in all of this. She didn't deserve any of the things she did to her. "Regina " she said softly and hugged the young woman who was still crying. "I'm so sorry. For everything. " she said softly and stroked Regina's soft hair carefully.
Zelena's eyes gleamed with jealously. Even after everything Regina was still her mother's favourite. "Now that we are all reunited, don't you think it's time for the truth. Tell her!" She said to her mother.
Cora shoke her head quickly and looked at Zelena, her eyes widening in shock. "Zelena, no..." she said softly. "Not like this " she pleaded.
Regina frowned. What was going on? She didn't understand.
"Tell her!" Zelena demanded. She was sick of Regina always getting their mother's attention and love when she hadn't earned it. She never understood why her mother loved Regina so much. She was her enemy's child after all. Her mother hated Eva so much so why would she love Regina? The product of Henry's love to Eva.
It had been Regina's kiss that saved their mother when it should have been her. She should have been the one to save their mother so she would finally be proud of her.
"No, Zelena. Don't " Snow pleaded. She knew what her sister was doing and it wasn't right. Zelena wanted to crush Regina.
"Tell me, what? What's going on? What aren't you telling me?" Regina asked and looked at her mother and Snow with her big brown eyes.
Snow sighed. "Regina..." she tried to calm her sister and change the subject but her mother cut her off.
"It's alright, Snow. It's time. No more lies." Cora sighed. She knew she had to be honest now. She couldn't keep the lie up anymore. "I..." she gulped. "I'm not your mother, Regina. " she told her and looked at her youngest daughter.
Regina was shocked and confused. "W-what? How is that possible? You lied to me?" She asked and got teary eyed again as she looked at her mother and sisters.
"Your mother died when you were a baby. Your father married me shortly after. He wanted someone who not only loved him but also his daughter and I did. Regina, the moment your father laid you in my arms I loved you. I am your mother. " she told her and also got teary eyed. She couldn't believe Zelena was making her do this.
"No...you lied. You lied to me my whole life! You still haven't changed one bit. Even with your heart." The young brunette pointed out and ran from the shop.
"No! Regina, wait!" Cora pleaded but she knew it was no use to run after her. "Why?" She demanded from Zelena angrily.
"She had to find out one day. She doesn't belong in this family. She never did. You hated her mother, why would you love her? Why would you always chose her over me?" She growled and disappeared in a puff of green smoke.
Snow sighed and also left the shop. She needed to find Regina before she would do anything drastic.
Cora sighed. She needed to get her daughters back. She never wanted Regina to find out even when she ruined her.
"Mama? Why are you sad?" Roland asked as he and Rae walked into their parents' bedroom.
"Come here " she said and opened her arms to cuddle her twins. She loved them so much. "I'm sad because someone I deeply cared about did something really bad. But I'll be alright. Don't worry. You two always know how to make me feel better." She explained to them and stroked their curls and sighed when Robin entered the room with some hot chocolate. "I'll be okay" she told him though she wasn't so sure about that.
Robin nodded and kissed her forehead. He knew though that she wasn't okay. She had always loved Cora even when she treated her like trash. She never even wanted to run away if it wasn't for him.
"Who hurt you, Mama?" Raelyn asked softly and looked at her mother with her big brown eyes.
Regina sighed. "It doesn't matter, princess. I have you and Roland and daddy. That's all I need." She said softly and cuddled them. She was not only angry and disappointed with her mother but also with Snow. Snow knew this whole time and didn't tell her. She could never lie and keep secrets so why did she keep this one? It just didn't make any sense. She needed to find out more about her mother.
Zelena had gone back to her mother's vault. She needed to continue with her plan to make Regina miserable. She needed to take everything away from her and she needed to get rid of Emma to get Henry back.
She would make them all pay for how they wronged her.
"Mom?" Henry asked as he came into the vault.
"Henry...what are you doing here?" She asked and bend down to his level.
"What are you doing? I thought you wanted to change. You promised you wouldn't use magic anymore. " He pointed out.
Zelena sighed. She knew she made a promise to Henry but she still wanted revenge. "You are right. I'm sorry. I will do better, I promise. " she told him and hugged him. He was truly the only one she could trust now. She knew she couldn't count on her mother anymore. "Let's get you home. Emma and Neal must be worried about you." She said and took his hand and left the vault with him. She brought him back to Emma's apartment.
