Chapter 6
A/N: Hi guys! Here it is, after not writing anything in this fanfic for months! Its pretty short, and I might continue the story on this chapter instead of updating with a new one but its all i could come up with for now. Hopefully my writing isn't too terrible. Have fun!
"Class Dismissed" Madam Hooch signaled for them to leave. Arianna Malfoy put the school broom in the shed and headed down the steps to the dungeons with the Hufflepuffs following the Slytherins. She stopped in her dorm room for a bit to relax, then headed out to meet Bria.
Ari found her friend sitting down near the violent tree, just out of reach of its branches. Dabria waved and patted the grass beside her, gesturing her to sit. The wind was loud and there was a scent of rain in the air. "Hello" Bria greeted and then asked, "You hungry?" "Yes but we have no food" Ari replied. "Wait you don't know the entrance to the kitchens?!" She exclaimed, producing a picnic basket from somewhere. "Your common room is so close to it." "It is?" Ari asked in surprise, raising her eyebrows quizzically. "That's it, after we eat, I'm taking you down there." The red head declared. "For now, apple pie?"
Arianna laughed and took a piece. Both of them chatted for a while about family, schoolwork, talents hobbies, etc. They only went inside once the clouds decided to finally open up on them and they had finished the food. Bria grabbed her hand and dragged her down several corridors and staircases, finally reaching a painting of a pear which Dabria tickled. They then entered the kitchen.
Ari's eyes widened at the hustle and bustle at the enormous Hogwarts kitchen. What surprised both of them though, was that they weren't the only people amongst the house elves there. "What the- "Bria yelped as she almost crashed into the stranger.
The other girl was Japanese, and she had straight black hair, warm brown eyes and an elegant posture. "Hello." She said in a soft voice. "Who are you?" "Dabria and Arianna. You?" Bria pointed to both of them. "My name is Mai. May I ask what you're doing down here?"
"Same reason as you" Ari smiled, gesturing to the plate of pastries next to Mai. "Well then, help yourself" she said but then paused, studying Arianna from head to toe. "You're a Malfoy aren't you? Your…different than what I expected" "Yeah, I get that a lot" She replied.
"Well, you are Ari" Bria commented, though it was muffled due to the food in her mouth. Ari rolled her eyes slightly and took a pastry for herself and bit in. "Mmmmm, this is good"

The days passed quickly without much more happening, with Ari hanging about with Dabria and Mai and occasionally help the Weasley twins with their pranking projects. Soon it was Halloween, and the castle was being decorated with pumpkins and realistic cobwebs.
"Its Halloween!" Star was certainly excited. "I've never really celebrated it before" Nisha confessed, fixing her hair. "Wait really? Its really fun" "Especially wizarding families" Violet chimed in. Suddenly, Nisha winced and clutched her head. "What's wrong?" Rose gently touched Nisha's arm. "I'm fine, just a headache." "You sure? It looked a lot worse" Ari asked.
They rushed through the day and were heading up to dinner when Medusa hissed and turned her head toward the blank far wall of the dungeon corridor. Hades also turned that way, both their tongues flicking in and out. Arianna thought she could here a voice and stopped.
"Ari?" Star asked. "You guys go ahead, ill catch up with you later." And walked to the blank stretch of wall. A voice was slipping through it. "Trapped here…No food…"
"Who are you?" "Another Parceltounge!?" the voice seemed to recoil, though more in surprise than anything else. Ari suddenly realized that she had slipped into the language of snakes. "Where are you? Surely not in the walls?" "Do you know moaning Myrtles bathroom?" "Yeah…." "Go to the sinks and tell them to open. Close your eyes when you enter my home." "O-Ok" Ari wasted no time. She hurried to the girls bathroom and hissed, "open" hat the sinks. To her great surprise, the sinks all separate from one another and revealed a gaping black hole. A pipe she realized. Well, here goes nothing she thought and jumped, shutting her eyes as she slid down.
A/N: So, how was it? Not my best work I know. my updates will be pretty slow from now on but I WILL STILL DO IT.
