3. Chapter 3

STREET FIGHTER:EPILOGUE!
PART III:THE CLIMAX!

Guile stood in front of the doorway and found himself face to face once again with just exactly who he was thinking about...Cammy herself!

"Cammy!"said Guile all suprised and wide eyed.
"Uhmm..."Cammy stammered and blushed in embarassment. "...this is all...all really awkward for me to be here,I..."

But before Cammy could finish her sentence,Guile grabbed ahold of her by the shoulders and kissed her square on the lips.
"Mmmf!"she replied in shock and awe.

Guile then let loose of her.
"Aw man,I thought i'd never see you again!"he said.
"Cammy blushed a brighter red than before,but shook it off.

"Blimey-that was unexpected!"she said. "Look...I know i've been gone awhile colonel,but...well i've got a lot to tell you and the street fighters!"
"Well,save it for later."said Guile. "Look,Escher just called and informed me that my final match with my opponent is up and i've got to get in there."
"R-right."said Cammy. "I'll head back to the bleachers,and watch the fight from there."

"You do that."said Guile. "But...stay out of plain sight okay? Escher and the others are there and they'll be watching me. And...well let me do the talking before you do."
"Will do,colonel."said Cammy as she saluted and then ran off down the hallway back into the stadium.

Guile smiled warmly and scratched his chin.
"Well...Rose herself did say that good fortune was going to smile on me at last." he thought.

And with that,Guile ran down the hallway corridor and was about to enter the ring.

MINUTES EARLIER AT THE TOURNAMENT...

Dan Hibiki,karate fighter faced off against Muay Thai champion Adon in the semi finals of the street fighters grand tournament.

Adon stood in his fight stance and chuckled wickedly as he beckoned his opponent to come at him.

Dan growled in rage.
"Bastard!"he shouted. "I'll show you!"

Dan leapt at Adon and did flying flail kick,but the thai fighter ducked it and caused Dan to fall upon his very face.

The karate fighter then got back up and swung around just in time to see Adon come flying at him with his Jaguar Tooth Dive Kick.

The kick was hard,fast and enough to knock Dan completely out.

Dan crashed to the floor and lost conciousness,Adon had won the semi-finals.

"YEAH!"cried Adon as he raised both fists into the air.

Many cheers and boos were heard in the crowd and Escher and the entire Street FIghter team watched in disgust at the arrogant one named Adon ate it all up,ego and all.

"Aw man!"said Ken. "Dan was good enough to reach the finals,but not enough against ol'carrot top there!"
"You said it."said Guy. "All that fighting with the Muay Thai champ wore him out,and it was child's play for Adon to defeat him."

"Not to mention the rest of us were eliminated in the earlier rounds,so of course that just leaves Guile to win it for us."said Ryu.
"Don't you worry guys."said Chun-Li. "Our fearless leader's come through before,he'll come through again."

NOW,AT THE TOURNAMENT!

Cammy saw the SF team down from where she sat.
She let out a sad sigh.
"I even attacked some of them directly,Guile,Honda,Ken,and especially my old mate Chun-Li."she thought. "That's why I couldn't come back with Guile last year.
Well...after my recent experiences...i'll spill my guts and all to them and hopefully...they'll take me back.

Wow...I can't believe Guile kissed me there. I thought about asking him about Lucinda..but..no i'm sure he'll tell me more himself when he's ready."

Guile then entered through the doors and the crowds cheered at his arrival.

"Ah,my final victim has arrived at last!"said Adon. "The golden eagle,colonel William Guile."

Guile saw Adon and a sneer formed across his face at the villian.

He then grabbed the ropes and leapt into the ring.
"I hope you've gotten comfortable knocking out small fry,flattop."said Guile. "Because this'll be your last when i'm through with you!"

Adon sneered back.
"Hmmmph...tough talk brush head!"he said. "You and the other street fighters might've bested my former master Sagat...but he's nothing compared my might!"

"Take him down,and take him down fast,Guile."thought Escher. "Adon himself is the key to learning what Sagat and Shadaloo are up to!"

"Take him down mon,yeah!"said DJ.
"Go Guile,yeah!"said Cody.

The referee stepped into the ring and adressed the match.
"Alright on the count of 3,fight!"he said. "1...2...3-FIGHT!"

Guile took up his fight stance just as Adon made the first move.

The kickboxer went into his Jaguar Kick attack,but Guile saw it coming and he blocked it off with both of his arms.
Adon then leapt off and gave Guile an opening.
"SONIC BOOM!"he shouted and flung his fireball at the villian.

Adon then dove for the floor,literally dodging it.
"Nice try!"he said as he leapt up. "But you're out of your league here,Guile!"

Guile then rushed at Adon and swung his backfist at the fighter,but Adon dodged it and then rushed in with his Rising Jaguar.

A sharp knee strike hit the soldier so hard that Guile crashed backwards to the floor.

"No!"cried Cammy. "William!"

"Aw man!"said Ken. "That guy's full of nasty tricks!"
"What did you expect from someone who trained under Sagat?"said Ryu. "But just you wait Ken,he's not through yet-c'mon Guile!"

Guile's eyes snapped open and then he sommersaulted backwards and onto his feet again.
"Not bad."he said. "But i'm still standing,so it's not good enough!"

"Hah!"said Adon. "I've had enough of this farce! Consider yourself done,the title and prize money are practically mine!"

Adon then leapt backwards and then leapt high into the air and dove at Guile,attempting his deadly Jaguar Tooth on him.

But just as Adon got close enough,Guile leapt upwards and unleashed his mighty Flash Kick,literally knocking the cocky villian out of the air.

Adon crashed to the floor in turn just as Guile landed on his feet.

The kickboxer then leapt back to his feet,just in time to see Guile fling another Sonic Boom at him.

"SONIC BOOM!"cried Guile as he flung an even bigger and faster fireball at the villian.

Adon was hit head on and so hard that he went flying out of the ring.
He was done,Guile had won.

The referee called the winner.
"THE WINNER-WILLIAM GUILE!"he said.

"Alright!"said Li and the rest of the team.
"He did it!"said Blanka.

Guile raised a fist high in the air to the shouting and cheering crowds.

Cammy breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well,was it any suprise?"she thought. "Now...comes the hard part for any of us that is."

Minutes later,Guile accepted his trophy and check contaning the prize money amount,and after that he regrouped with the team.

"Good job,colonel."said Escher as he shook his hands. "I knew you could do it."
"Was there any doubt."said Guile. "And hey...even if the rest of you didn't win,good job to you doing the best you ever did."

"Ah,just wait till the next contest,Guile."said Ken. "Just you wait."
"Yeah,I second that myself."said Cody.

The team laughed,and were about to leave the building.
"By the way,did you and Rose managed to get the info from Adon about Sagat?"said Guile.
"Indeed we did."said Escher. "Rose just utilized a little mind probing and we've got we needed. Sagat and Shadaloo will be finished before this week is over."

"Good."said Guile.

Suddenly,Escher noticed someone standing in the shadows across from them.
"What-it can't be?"said Escher.
"Oh yeah,I was going to tell you about that."said Guile.

Cammy emerged from the shadows.
"Cammy?"they all said at once.

"Oh great!"said Ken. "Little miss pigtail traitor at last rears her head again!"
Ryu sighed.
"For once,i'm in agreement with you on this Ken."said Ryu.

"That's gotta be a first,HA HA!"said Honda.
Dj and Cody giggled.
"Quiet guys,this is serious!"said Li.

Blanka and Li then approached Cammy.
"It is good seeing you again at least."said Li.
"Yeah,we were wonder which side you were fighting on anymore."said Ken.

"A well placed jab,Ken."said Cammy. "But yeah,despite the circumstances,it is good seeing you all again...and good to see some new blood at that."

Jessica then showed up.
"Hey,everybody,what's the hold up?"she said. "Hey...you're that Cammy chick Chun-Li told me about!"

"Who the-?"said Cammy. "That's Jessica Haggar,Cammy."said Guile."She's...our new pilot for the carriers."
"What?"said Cammy. "But more about that later."said Escher. "Look Cammy...it is good to see you again,but...you certainly have the nerve to appear after all that happened."

Cammy sighed.
"I know, ."said Cammy. "And...I imagine you probably would've taken me back in as well."
"Of course I would've allowed you to return to us."said Escher. "I assure you...we've proven we're not like your former Delta Red Team,we care about each other..
no matter how much we get under each other's skin."

"And I second that."said Guile. "Do you still remember the street fighter code of honor?"

Cammy gulped and thought for a moment.
"Yes...discipline...justice...commitment."she said. "Something that I forgot about all those months ago.
Long story short,i've overcome my inner demons,Bison and all that he controlled within me are gone."

"Pleasing news."said Rose. "Just as I saw it coming all before."

"What-you've got her on the team too?"said Cammy. "Like I said,we've got a lot of stories to share...just as you do Cammy."said Guile.

"Yes,yes...I promise once we get back to HQ...i'll tell you all about what happened."said Cammy.

"That's good,now c'mon we've got a lot of loose ends to tie up."said Escher.

Minutes later,the transport carriers arrived at Street Fighter HQ.

Guy,Rose,and the rest of the team relaxed in the lounge area while Guile and Escher talked with Cammy in the briefing room.

Ken sat by himself on a couch and sipped a cold beer.
Ryu joined him on the couch.

"We've gone through a lot this past year haven't we?"said Ryu.
"You said it Ryu."said Ken. "Personally,I suppose we should be grateful that Cammy's back...but..."
"I know..it's hard to trust her,trust someone that some of us didn't know all that well."said Ryu. "Have faith,we're gonna see this through."

"We've seen a lot of us things through."thought Ken. "For instance..."

FLASHBACK 1.

Ryu and Ken were visting their sensei Master Gouken once again,but before they arrived at the dojo they stopped at the nearby village to pick up some supplies.

Ken just did his personal business in the restroom when suddenly...he heard some fighting sounds just outside a nearby door.
"Hmmm...what's that?"he thought as he looked through the door.

The american fighter saw a pair of male figures in an alleyway,he then recognised one of them from the back.

"Akuma!"said Ken. "What's he doing here?"

Ken then saw that he was standing menacingly over an old man dressed in a purple chinese costume of some kind.

"Oh,no ya don't!"said Ken as he rushed into the alleyway.

"AKUMA-STOP!"he said as he ran towards his sworn enemy.
"Eh?"said Akuma as he swung around to see who it was.

Ken then did a flying kick at the villian,but before he could even get a foot on him,the evil master warp vanished.

Ken landed on his feet just as Akuma vanished.
"Damn!"he said. "I forgot that he can warp!"

Akuma then re-appeared before Ken and the old man he saved.

"You should not be here,Ken Masters!" hissed the villian.
"You just interrupted the most important event in my life!"

"Important?"said Ken. "What's that exactly...picking on defensless old men?"

Akuma sneered. "You may have defeated me last time,but you're still a student as far as i'm concerned."
he said. "Be warned,cross me again...and you and your friends shall die!"

Ryu then stuck his head out the door to see what was happening,just in time to see Akuma vanish.

"Akuma?"said Ryu. "What's he doing here?"
"That's what I intend to find out."said Ken as he turned to the old man who was laying down on the ground.
"Hey..uh...old dude-you okay?"said Ken.

The old man coughed and got back to his feet.
His hair was a shoulder length white and had a matching beard with it.
He wore a set of purple chinese clothes and a red sash was worn around his waist.

"Uhmm...yes,yes I am fine."he said. "Thanks to you."
Ryu approached the old man.
"Pardon us for asking sir."said Ryu. "But what exactly was Akuma bullying you about?"

"Oh that."said the old man. "Well...he wanted my chi for starters."
"Your chi?"said Ken. "Not that again!"
"Yes,it appears that Akuma himself must be up to no good once again."

"Indeed he is."said the old chinese. "And...I imagine it also has something to do with the both you...Ryu and Ken."
"Wha...you know us?"said Ryu. "Why yes,your sensei told me about you both recently on one of my visits,I happen to be an old friend of his."said the man.

The chinese then bowed to them.
"Allow me to introduce myself..."he said. "...I am called..GEN."

Minutes later,Ryu and Ken were seated at a table at a local cafe where they drank tea and ate some snacks.
"Gen.."said Ryu. "...yes...I do recall that sensei told us of a great warrior from China that taught many warriors from near and far."

"Yes."said Gen as he sipped his tea. "I even trained the likes of some friends of yours in their young teens...Chun-Li and Fei Long."
"Wow,you trained her even huh?"said Ken. "Somehow i'm not suprised."

Gen chuckled. "Yes,she learned much of her firecracker moves from myself and her late father as well. Tell me,how is she doing?"
Ryu sighed. "She's...been through some hardships recently,but we've helped her through it."

"Yeah,you should know Ryu."said Ken. "Good luck tapping her by the way,heh-heh."
"Ken!"spat Ryu whilst he blushed.

Gen laughed. "Yes,I have heard much from your sensei about the odds and ends you both give one another. And in your street fighter organization at that."
"Hmmm...you've got us pegged all right."said Ryu. "Look,we're about to visit our sensei,maybe you could come with us and we could help each other out...with Akuma that is."

Gen nodded.

Many more minutes later,the trio arrived at the dojo temple of Master Gouken,Ryu and Ken's sensei.

The Dojo was still standing in all it's splendor,but had seen better days.

"It'll be good to see the master again."said Ryu.
"Yeah,after all the gruff crap we went through with Guile,he'd be a nice change of pace."

Gen chuckled.
"Many great masters are wise and rough in their ways."he said. "Even myself in my past teachings."

Master Gouken then walked out through the front entrance and approached his star students.

Ryu and Ken bowed to their master.
"Sensei!"they said in unison.

Gouken returned the gesture and walked closer to them.
"It is good,to see you both again."he said. "Ah,I see you've brought company."
"Yeah,he says he knows you,sensei."said Ken.

"Master Gen."said Gouken as he bowed to the master. "Good to see you again as well."
Gen returned the gesture. "Likewise,Gouken."he said. "It's...also an interesting story to tell how I managed to run into your students."

"Hmmm...well...yes."said Gouken. "All of you come with me to the main hall,i'll serve us some tea."
"Uh,you wouldn't happen to have any beer this time around would you sensei?"said Ken.
"Ken..!"said Ryu.

"I used to drink sake Ken."said Gouken as he turned to the main entrance. "But you know I never keep alcohol in my domain."
"Geez..."thought Ken. "...some things sure as hell never change."

Minutes later,the trio was with Master Gouken in the main hall and were all seated on very thick red cushions.

Gen and Gouken sipped their tea while Ryu and Ken prepared to speak with their master.
"Ah,I see..."said Gouken as his face appeared very grim. "...my dreaded brother is up to no good once again."

"Yes,sensei."said Ryu. "Compared to Akuma,Bison was a pleasant memory."
"You can say that again,at least he's dead."said Ken. "But hey...no problem,I still have my fiery dragon punch,I beat him before,I can do so again."

Ryu sighed in irritation and was about to say something.
"No,Ryu!"said Gouken. "This time you will both listen to me!"

"Uh,sensei?"said Ryu.

Gouken stood up and walked over to the still seating Ryu and Ken.
He then slapped the both of them in the back of their very heads.
"OUCH!"they cried.

"Mmmm...not good."said Gen as he sipped his tea.
"You still both have much to learn I see!"he said. "Stand the both of you!"

Ryu and Ken immediately got up and stood with their master.
"First off,Guile phoned me recently of the problems you had with each other and the team itself."he said. "How you both even fought each other in a fountain in the city your HQ is located in."
"Oh,that."said Ryu. "Ken..."said Gouken. "...your power has indeed been reaching it's potential,but you must understand that you mustn't let overconfidence override you.
There are still many opponents that could even take you down just as easily if you are not careful and better trained."

Ken sighed in frustration.
"Yes sensei."he said. "That's what I also was telling you."said Ryu. "Hey,correct me if i'm wrong,mr big mouth..."said Ken. "...but you were the one who told me that I was the world's greatest warrior to begin with after I beat Akuma!"

"That was before!"said Ryu. "You-"
"Ryu,enough!"said Gouken. "I shall handle the discipline here. For starters,you must learn patience,not just with Ken,but others as well.
You gave Ken proper praise,but to beret him so soon after proves that you expect far too much from others!

And yes,I also spoke recently to Fei Long about the recent movie making adventure you had with him."

Ryu blushed in embarassment.
"Okay,so i've got a lot to learn myself."he said. "Geez...he admits it for a change."said Ken.

"The point of the matter is,that you both still have much to learn about each other as well as the world of fighting.
So...i'm asking you both one last time...learn from one another,you and your friends in the street fighter team need each other,remember that."

"Yes,sensei!"both Ryu and Ken said in unison.
"Now,onto new business."said Gouken. "Gen,why did my brother attack you? What business does he have here?"
"Simple."said Gen. "He tried to absorb my chi and wishes revenge on all 3 of you,especially Ken."

"Uh-oh.."said Ken. "I knew it was gonna be like that."

Suddenly,the front door was kicked down and some black clad figure leapt into the room.
It was a ninja.
"What the hell?"said Ken.

"A...a ninja?"said Gouken.
The ninja said nothing,but simply threw a single dagger across the room and it's very tip hit a nearby wall.

"Hey,what the...?"said Ryu.

The ninja then leapt back through the front door wence it came.
"What the hell was that about?"said Ken.

"Hmmm...we'll soon find out won't we?"said Gouken as he got up and went over to the still sticking out dagger on the wall.

Gouken took down the dagger and found that it had a single white note wrapped around it.
"Ah,here it is."he said as he unravelled the note.

There was a japanese language written across it,and Gouken read it aloud.
"Not surprising,it's from my brother."he said. "I should've known."said Ryu.
"So,what's it say,sensei?"said Ken.

"It says that my brother is issuing a one on one challenge to the three of us,exactly 10 miles from here...at a waterfall location in the valley."said Gouken.
"You will come and face me at once...or else I shall continue to attack and drain the ki from many fighters from around the world.
Including your beloved street fighter team!"

Ryu and Ken's brows both knitted at once.
"Hey...no one threatens us or our friends and gets away with it!"said Ken.
"For once,i'm in agreement with you Ken."said Ryu. "We'll go there...and finish the menace of Akuma once and for all!"

Gouken placed the note on a nearby shelf.
"Yes."he said. "This must end now. Very well,we shall go there the three of us at once to the assigned destination."
"You mean the four of us,master Gouken."said Gen. "Gen...you are a great master and good friend..."said Gouken. "...but I do not wish to involve you in our affairs."

"I know."said Gen. "But after being retired for so long,I could defenitely use some exercise,and a challenge.
And even after just facing your brother...I could use all the help you can get."

"Very well."said Gouken. "Come..let us face the evil demon that is my brother at once!"

The four warriors then went on foot to their destination,Gen and Gouken walked up the rear while Ken and Ryu walked behind them.
"Ken."said Ryu. "I...just want to say i'm sorry for my behavior to you as well. Believe me,I didn't try to swell up your ego there before.
You did a great thing at first defeating Akuma a year ago."

"Ah,i'm sorry to,Ryu."said Ken. "We've just been at each other's throat as of late. But like sensei said,we've both got a lot to learn,about fighting and each other all through life."
"True enough."said Ryu.

"Good to see you admit each other's faults."said Gouken while he was still walking. "That's the first step on the path to wisdom."
"I quite agree as well."said Gen. "I myself was a brash and hotheaded young man myself way back then."said Gen. "Mistakes can help one learn to do far better."

Mintues later,the four warriors arrived at a cave location near a waterfall.
"Huh..a cave."said Ken. "Why am I not surprised?"
"I suppose your brother has a taste for dark theatrics then,Gouken?"said Gen.
"Mmmm...yes I suppose."said Gouken. "Come...let's not waste any time."

The quarter entered the cave and found several torches on the walls.

Ahead of them,they found a large stone altar with a set of stairs attached to them.
And seated atop the alter was Akuma himself!

"There he is!"said Ken. "The toruble-maker has returned!"
"What do you want of us this time,Akuma?"said Ryu.

Akuma grinned wickedly. "I still desire the chi of you both,and this time Ken...you will not be so lucky to defeat me!"
"Yeah?'said Ken. "Well,you gonna sit there...or you gonna fight?"

Akuma arose from where he stood.
"Not yet."he said. "First...a warm-up is called.
ATTACK!"

A group of black clad ninjas then leapt out of the shadows and lunged at the four heroes.
"Hmmm...more ninas I see."said Gen.
"Yes."said Gouken. "This must be the warm-up he was referring to."

The first ninja attempted to do a leap kick at Ryu,but the japanese fighter dodged it and did a fast and hard Shoryuken to his chin,knocking him out.
"Let's do this!"said Ken as he jumped right in.

Ken fired off a Hadouken and knocked down two ninjas at once.

Gouken did a spin hurricane kick and knocked out several ninjas as well.

Gen did his Zan'ei Dash attack and knocked down several ninjas attacking him.
He then swung around and did his rapid fire chop attack at several more.

"Man,that old guy is good!"thought Ken.
Suddenly,another ninja swung a roundhouse kick at Ken.
"Whoa!"said Ken as he barely dodged it.
"Nice try,now it's my turn!"said Ken.

Ken charged up his inner chi and slammed fiery dragon Punch into the ninja's face.
He then slammed several more at the rest of the attacking ninjas.

Ryu then unleashed his super hurricane kick and knocked out the remaining ninjas.

It was over,Akuma's Ninja squad was finished.

"Is that the best you can do,brother?"said Gouken. "Attacking us with second rate ninjas?"
"Oh,I can do that and more,brother..STARTING NOW!"

Akuma slammed down his very feet and charged up his inner ki,causing an aura of orange flames to cover his body.

When he was done,his very hair and gi changed color,his gi was a bright purple and his hair became a fiery orange.
"NO!"said Gouken. "He has reached his full inner ki...he is now-SHIN AKUMA!"

"Mmmm..that cannot be good."said Gen.
"Shin Akuma?"said Ken. "Aw man,as if he wasn't evil enough as it was."
"Stay alert,Ken."said Ryu. "We may be in for the fight of our lives here!"

Akuma then leapt high into the air and unleashed a giant fiery Hadouken fireball at the heroes.

"YOW!"cried Ken.
All four warriors dodged it and scattered just as the fireball hit the ground and caused a fiery explosion through the cave floor.

Akuma then landed on his feet and beckoned them forward.
"Stay back,all of you!"said Gouken. "This fight is mine once again!"
"But even you don't know the limits of his power this time,Gouken."said Gen.
"I know...but I must try!"said Gouken as he shadow dashed forward.

"Sensei!"said Ryu.

Gouken dashed forward at Akuma and attempted to do a straight forward hard punch at the villian,but Akuma simply caught his fist with his very hand.
"Erk?"cried Gouken.

"Akuma smirked and then pushed his brother away and then unleashed a fiery Hadouken at him.
"WHAMM!"
The impact sent Gouken flying across the cave room.
"SENSEI!"said Ken as he Ryu rushed forward.

The two heroes tended to Gouken while Gen stood his own against the villian.
"Leave him to me,boys."he said. I owe him one!"

Gen and Shin Akuma circled around the cave floor at each other,both waiting to make a move.

Akuma made the first move as he did a Shadow Warp forward at the old master and then fired off a fiery Hadouken.

Gen dodged it and then did his super dash attack move.

He literally clipped Akuma in the very left side,causing him to fall down on one knee.

"Payback is a bitch as one once said."said Gen. "You are also a big fool!"

Akuma swung back around and had a wicked grin on his very face.
"IS THAT SO?"he roared.

He then slammed down both of his very feet upon the cave floor and caused the entire room to shake violently within.
The impact then caused Gen to nearly fall over,which gave Akuma the opening he needed.

He then fired off another Hadouken that sent the master flying backwards and crashing into a nearby wall.

"GEN!"said Ryu. "This is crazy!"said Ken. "He's more powerful than he was before?
How the hell did he get like this?"

"How you ask?"said Akuma still grinning. "Take this secret to your grave,student. After you...defeated me with your sheer luck. I sought out and drained the chi of many fighters from around the globe...and some from some other dimensions that were called the Darkstalker world.

Until at long last I had built enough power to reach my intended goal. I am now the world's mightiest...and once I finish you four fools off...Guile and his precious street fighters are next!
Oh yes,I know of his defeat of that fool Bison,I shall see how good he's really gotten since last time we fought!"

"You leave our friends out of this,demon!"said Ryu.
"Yeah,your fight's with us,period!"said Ken.

"Fight?"said Akuma as he floated into the air once again. "FOOLS...I HAVE ALREADY WON THIS BATTLE!
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED...YOU'RE ALL FINISHED...HAHAHA!"

Ryu and Ken growled in anger at their sworn enemy and where about to lunge again at him.
But Gouken managed to stop them where they stood.

"No-don't!"he said. "He is far too powerful for any of us to defeat this time!"
"But sensei!"said Ken. "There must be a way!"

Gouken thought for a moment.
"There is."he said. "But...it may very well cost you your souls if I do this."
"I know exaclty what you're thinking Gouken. "said Gen. "But it's true,tough times call for tough solutions."

"True."said Gouken. "I shall do this...but only this once!"
"Well,what is it?"said Ryu.

"Ryu,Ken."said Gouken "Place both of your hands upon my shoulders,now!"

The two heroes placed their hands upon Gouken's shoulders,and waited for what would happen next.

"I am going to transfer the whole of my chi power into your bodies."said Gouken. "It will give you both a maxximum charge of energy.
And if we're lucky,it might be enough to defeat my brother!"

"You ready?"said Ryu. "If it'll toast that bastard,i'm all for it!"said Ken. "We're ready sensei!"
"Good!"said Gouken. "Prepare yourselves!"

The old master then focused all his inner chi and strength into his very body until it began to glow a bright white.

Once he reached his critical point,he transfered all his chi energy into both of his student's bodies.

Ryu and Ken then let go off their sensei,and once it was finished their very bodies were glowing and shining with the power of pure chi energy.
"Think this will work?"said Ken.
"One way to find out!"said Ryu.

Akuma then landed on his feet again and adressed the two warriors.
"HA!"he replied. "If you think this ploy will truly stop me...you're all bigger fools than I thought!"

"Then come Akuma!"said Ryu. "Hit us with your best shot ever!"
"YEAH!"said Ken.

Akuma snorted in defiance and then charged up his most powerful Hadouken fireball at the pair.
Ryu and Ken did the same till all 3 Shotokans had their chi projectiles fully formed.

Akuma then let loose his fireball,just as Ryu and Ken did the same.

"SHINKU-HADOUKEN!"cried Ryu and Ken in unison.

The two gigantic fireballs collided with each other,and a flash of bright ki energy erupted throughout the room.

But to Akuma's suprise,his fireball was blasted away,which allowed the larger Hadouken to go flying straight at him!
"No!"he replied. "It...can't be!"

Those were his last words till the Hadouken slammed him head-on!
"WHAMMM!"

The impact sent the villian flying and crashing into a wall,and his very beaded necklace shattered apart with it.

Akuma then crashed to the floor and was out cold,it was done.
Ryu and Ken had saved the day at last,Akuma was defeated once again.

Ryu and Ken's bodies then stopped glowing,and once it was done,they both fell to their knees from sheer exhaustion.

"Whooo-whatta rush!"said Ken.
"I'll say."said Ryu. "We did it...master Gouken's chi transfer aided us."

Gouken and Gen then approached Ryu and Ken.
"Yes,you both utilized my chi transfer well."said Gouken. "I surmised that the only way to defeat Akuma's evil dark chi was with the sheer power of pure chi energy."
"And it worked like a charm,no doubt."said Gen.

"Yeah,we showed him didn't we?"said Ken. "The question is,now what do we do with your pain in the ass brother,sensei?"

Gouken stroked his beard and thought for a moment.
He then came to a decision and walked over to the still unconscious body of his brother.

"My brother has walked the path of evil for far too long."he said. "It's time I did my duty as a brother to help him gain back what was once lost."
I know of a far off Budhist monk temple in Tibet that specializes in the healing power of chi and ki."

"So you're saying you're talking him to some monks,sensei?"said Ryu.
"That's right."said Gouken. "And I must stay with him at all times,Ryu. So...it may seem I may see you both again for awhile,or perhaps ever again."
"Aw man."said Ken. "And we've still got so much to learn sensei,and you've taught us so much."

"I have taught you all I can for now,Ken."said Gouken. "But I am proud of you both for the effort and paths you have chosen in your lives as warriors.
You must continue your training together...and of course learn more from each other about life and all it offers."

"We..will sensei."said Ryu. "And good luck."
"Yeah,you take care,we really hope you save Akuma there though."
"Yes,good luck Gouken." said Gen. "May you achieve your greatest challenge ever...saving your brother."

Gouken smiled.
"I hope so myself."he said.
Gouken then placed his hand upon Akuma's chest and then placed his own hand atop his brow.
"Farewell!"he said.

And in a flash of warp light and shadows,the two men were gone in an instant.
"WOW!"said Ken. "I didn't know sensei could shadow warp as well."
Gen chuckled. "There was many secrets he himself kept hidden ever from you both.

"I guess so."said Ryu. "Perhaps with enough training and learning we'll learn those types of chi powers oursleves."
"Yeah,maybe we will."said Ken.

The trio then exited the cave and were about to say their goodbyes.
"Well,as brief as it was."said Gen. "It was an honor to fight not only alongside an old friend,but to at least meet and fight alongside his star pupils."
"And it was an honor to meet you as well master Gen."said Ryu. "Likewise,Gen."said Ken. "Anything you want us to tell Chun-Li before you go?"

"Yes."said Gen. "Tell her I said hello and I hope she is doing well. As for the both you remember what Master Gouken also told you...please get along with each other no matter what."

Ryu and Ken chuckled.
"We..we'll try."said Ryu.
"Yeah..same here."said Ken.

"Until then...farewell."said Gen as he turned and in a flash of wind and light,he himself was gone.
"What the-?"said Ken.
"Hmmm...sensei must've taught Gen that move as well."said Ryu.

"Yeah,just our luck huh?"said Ken. "And Ryu...?"
"Yeah?"said Ryu.
"I...usually don't say these sort of things,but...next time you're about to tell me that i'm the world's greatest warrior...just don't.
I'm still learning just as much as you are,don't forget."

Ryu laughed.
"Hey,no problem Ken."said Ryu. "Believe me,we're both still students in our ways. But who knows,maybe someday one or both of us will surpass even our sensei."
"Maybe is right."said Ken. "Come on,let's get back to town and rest and then head back to SF HQ."

"Yeah,I could use a cold one myself."said Ryu. "Heh..make it two cold ones."said Ken.

END FLASHBACK 1.

"Heh-heh.."thought Ken. "Well at least that's one loose end we took care of. I just hope sensei's doing well ol'flame hair though."
Anyways,speaking of loose ends,I also got a postcard from our friend Fei Long that he just managed to finish and release his newest martial arts movie that will raise awareness and exploit the crimes of Hong Kong's crime lords Wo Fat and Sing. Way to go Fei,maybe someday those scum lords will be taken downtown at that."

Ken then looked over at the door of the briefing room,it was still closed.
"Ken?"said Ryu. "Hmm?"said Ken. "Oh yeah,don't mind me Ryu...just lost in thought there."

"I hear ya on that."said Ryu. "A lot sure has went down for us here and there. And now look what happens next,our old..eh..friend Cammy is back."
"Yeah,but not official as of yet."said Honda. "She sure went through a lot thanks to Bison."

"Yeah,Ryu told Guy and myself what went down with your friend Cammy."said Cody. "It must be hard to trust someone like that after what happened."
"Tell me about it."said Chun-Li. "Blanka,Guile and myself worked with her closely the most on our past missions. But now that Bison's gone..I think we can trust her and welcome her back once again."

"I hope so,Chun-Li."said Ryu. "I hope so."
"Hmmm..I wonder what Cammy's telling our bosses in there right now by the way?"said DJ.
"Patience DJ."said Dhalsim. "We will find out soon enough in due time."

While back in the briefing room...

Guile and Escher stood across from Cammy,while Cammy reamined seated across from them at a table.
A single pocket tape recorder sat on the table from them.

"Alright Cammy,take it from the top on how it all happened to you,and what else happened to you after you took a leave of absence."said Escher. "And trust us,we'll fully understand of the conclusion you'll come to."
"That's right."said Guile. "Just tell us."

Cammy gulped and began.
"Well you see."said Cammy. "After I regained my senses,I fully recalled all that happened before I joined both Delta Red and then the street fighters."

FLASHBACK 2.
"My parents and I were on a holiday trip into the countryside of England. When suddenly...out of the blue,Bison and his goon squad ambushed us all.
I later learned that my father was an agent for MI-6 investigating Bison's affairs,and had files of evidence on Shadaloo. That's...that's why they were...executed.

It wasn't over for me...Bison had plans...not just for me...but for many other young girls he had kidnapped. He kidnapped other young women out there...and conditioned and brainwashed them for what he called the Doll program.

I was one of his dolls,and in the early years of my youth,he utilized us for such terrorist attacks and espionage tasks. I myself carried out many assassinations the most...I then became his favorite,almost like a lover to him at that. He even had a photo done of us as well.

"That explains that photo Honda and myself found recently."said Guile.
"Yes,colonel."said Cammy. "But...after several months time...something went wrong with the Doll program. There were dreadful side effects which caused a lof of the doll's bodies to deteriorate and die.
Many of the dolls died off in the end,I was one of the few lucky enough to be preserved in cold storage.

And so,just like that Bison had my body placed away in cryogenic suspension...and for several years...I was forgotten by him."
"That's just typical of him."said Guile. "So what happened next?"

"Years later."said Cammy. "I was found by agents of Delta Red,and Colonel Bert was among them. I was taken to the local London hospital and nursed back to health.
He asked me who I really was...but all I could remember truly was my name..Cammy.

A few years later,I enlisted in the military and worked my way to become a member of M-I-6's Delta Red team. I got to not only know Bert,but Celia and Roary as well.
True,they were happy enough times,but...the rules,regulations,the paperwork...and even letting off certain criminals and terrorists due to a technicality started to really get to me.

So...with a heavy heart,I turned in my resignation..and was gone. And that's when I ran into you ."
"Yes,we know the history on that well enough Cammy."he said. "I found you waiting tables at a local cafe and learned of your past with Delta Red. So...I made you an offer you couldn't refuse.
And the rest they say is well...history."

"Yeah,right up till that fateful moment when Bison used that mind control trick on you."said Guile.
Cammy blushed in embarassement. "Yeah,about that."said Cammy. "I later learned that Bison had implaned a mind control neuron within me when I was a shadaloo doll.
And when the time was right when he got close enough,he did the trick and the rest of course you know."

"Sadly enough."said Escher. "So...now we need to know what happened next Cammy."
"I'm getitng to that sir."said Cammy. "After I...parted ways with Guile..I felt that the USA was no longer my home..and I felt the pull to head back to my homeland of England.

I also felt that I had to really resolve the mess between my old teammates in Delta Red once and for all. But once I got to England,I found that the MI-6 HQ was momentarilly under seige by a major terrorist attack.

"MI-6 was under seiged?"said Guile. "When did that happen?"
"Hmmm...I think I can shed some light on that one Guile."said Escher. I read in the BBC news that a seige was taking place,but within an hour it was under control...but...details were somewhat sketchy there I do recall that one of them that there was a major explosion in the sky over London,obviously had something to do with a bomb threat."

"Yes,and I had something to do with that as well,sir."said Cammy. "I'll explain everything,but...I can also at first tell you who started it. Does the name...SATIN HAMMER ring a bell?"

"What?'said Guile. "Satin Hammer? Her again?"
"Hmmm...it looks like a lot of old enemies are truly crawling out of the woodwork here then after Bison's demise.
Well,we're listening Cammy,go one."

"It wasn't easy."began Cammy. "But I had to work past what guards there were around back,and used their weaponry to dismantle the security systems within.
Once inside,I armed myself and made my way through the classic manuever of crawling through the ventilator shaft system."

"Heh,yes that is a classic manuever alright."said Guile. "So what happened next?

"I made it to the main computer security systems,took out the guards there and made it into the main room."said Cammy. "I saw on various monitors of not only more armored and armed guards.
And there she was...the cyber bitch behind this whole mess...Satin Hammer! And I found that she wasn't alone either. That crazy cyborg wench La Loopa was with her as well!"

"Her again too?"said Guile. "Hmmm...I stand corrected once again."said Escher. "Hammer must've sprung her from prison because she felt she was a kindred spirit...or something like that."
"Exaclty."said Cammy.

I found the pair of them at a larger computer terminal and behind them all the members of the Delta Red team and their head man Roman Spears were behind them all placed in a jail cell.

I then fiddled with the audio speaker system and managed to listen in what they were saying.

"At long last!"said Hammer. "I shall unleash the cyber-bomb upon the city of London England...and all it's inhabitants will be under my control!"
"Si,seniorita Hammer!"said Loopa. "Your plan to create the world in your image is legendary!"
"That's right,Loopa!"said Hammer. "If I am to remain no longer truly human...than so shall the world,HAHAHA!"

Cammy switched off the audio and had a bewildered look on her face.
"Blimey!"she said. "She's gone off the deep-end this time. I read the recent files they had on her,Guile was right,she'd almost make..Bison seem sane."

Suddenly,Cammy heard a footfall behind her and swung around to see...

himself.
" ?"said Cammy.

Hawk slammed his hand over Cammy's mouth and suddenly shushed her.
"Shhhh!"he replied. "I don't wanna blow my cover here!"

Cammy pushed him off. "Ugh,sorry mate..you surprised me there,that's all!"she said.
"Ah, next eh?"said Guile. "Somehow i'm not surprised myself."
"Same here."said Escher. "You informed me how Hammer completely betrayed him on their last encounter."

FLASHBACK CONTINUES.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here,Hawk?"said Cammy.
"I'll explain in a bit."said Hawk. "First off,see my belt?"
Cammy looked down at his belt and saw that he was wearing a strange black plastic and metal device to it.

"This device i'm wearing is a shadow scambler."he said. "It'll protect my presence from all forms of security and danger.
As long as I stand in the shadows that is. I ripped it off from AN offices before I...left."

Cammy nodded.
"You know a place where we can hide further till then?"she said.
Hawk looked out in the hall.
"Come on,this way."he said.

The two street fighters quietly snuck out into the hall and made their way towards a door marked supplies and went inside.
"I've almost made it to the main computer terminal and breifing room."said Hawk. "I admit...i'm pretty surprised that i'd find you here."

"Heh..well..."said Cammy. "That's a bit of a long story there."
"Yeah?"said Hawk. "I can probably guess why...for starters,your friend Guile recently told me over the phone that you went...AWOL yourself there."

"Ughh.."said Cammy as she blushed in embarassment. She then thought:
"I swear if Bison wasn't dead,i'd kill him myself!"

"But it's okay Cammy."said Hawk. "I can relate to what you had to do to make amends,and...I can sort of relate to your recent awol.
Y'see...I went awol myself with the AN."

"I think I can guess myself...it has to do with Hammer there doesn't it?"said Cammy.
"Yeah...her."said Hawk. "After Sawada and myself made it back to the AN HQ,I rested up. I still was pretty steamed about her shooting me back there.
I came to the realization that there was no longer any reasons within her. The woman I once knew and loved was no more,even despite her being part cyborg,and now all evil!

I thought maybe we'd get a new lead on her,but...no go. So...I couldn't wait any longer,I took a leave of absence,probably resigned from the AN...and took it upon myself to find and destroy the Satin Hammer myself!"

"Well,that's all and good."said Cammy. "But...why is she doing this with my hometown and country,Hawk? What's the deal with this mad new plan of conquest of hers?"

"Well,in a nutshell."said Hawk. "I tracked down her recent machinations and discovered that she salavaged some more leftover technology from Shadaloo and the former head scientist . She herself put together a bomb of her own to wipe out the DNA of all humans in an area and transform them into her cybernetically controlled cyber slaves.

And as for her laying seige with Delta Red and MI-6...I also found that they themselves ran afoul of her,they thwarted her...she didn't like it and now..."
"Now she's obviously taking her revenge on them and the whole of England."said Cammy. "Bloody hell!"

"You can sure say that again,blondie."said Hawk. "No matter what..it's up to stop them!"
"Well,what are we waiting for?"said Cammy. "The christmas holiday? Let's do this!"
"Right!"said Hawk.

The two heroes carefully stepped out into the partially darkened hallway and made their way carefully through the shadows.
They evaded several soldier goons of the Hammer and managed to knock out a few on the way,until at last they came across the main computer terminal room.

The two looked at each other,nodded and Hawk made the first move.
He thrust his right massive foot into the double doors and knocked them open.

"What the?"said Hammer as she and Loopa turned to see who it was.

"You're goin'down luv!"said Cammy. "STARTING NOW!"

Hammer gave Hawk a very cold and cruel look in her eyes.
" ...!"she said. "I'd never thought i'd see you again!"

"And..Cammy?"said Loopa. "What are you doing here? I'd thought you and the boss man bought it!"
"Well,you thought wrong,red!"said Cammy. "And your boss did buy it...you should've stayed in prison while you were at it!"

"Cammy?"said Bert as he went up to the jail cell. "I don't believe it!"
"She...she's here as well?"said Celia. "Alright,we're gonna get outta this yet!"said Roary.
"I don't believe it either!"said Roman Spears. "Cammy,i'll admit you are a sight for sore eyes!"

"Uh,hi all."said Cammy. "I wish it could be under better circumstances."
"Enough of these pleasantries!"said Hammer. "You're all halting my work here-GUARDS!"

A set of armed guards started to come down the hall,but Hawk grabbed a nearby large computer component and threw it at them,knocking them all down to the floor.

He then shut the doors and locked them.
"I think we'd best keep this between us,Hammer!"he said. "No intrusions!"

Cammy then aimed her stolen rifle blaster at the two villians.
"You heard him!"said Cammy. "You either surrender...or it's gonna get ugly..STARTING NOW!"

Hammer chuckled and nodded at Loopa.
"With pleasure,mistress!"said Loopa as she charged at Cammy.

Cammy fired her rifle,but the assassin dodged it and then knocked it apart with a single swing of her fist.

"Change sides again did you?"said Loopa. "When i'm through with you,you're gonna wish you'd stayed hidden!"

Cammy took up her fight stance.
"Bring it on red!"she said. "Hawk...you take Hammer,i'll keep her pet dog busy!"

Hawk nodded and proceeded to confront Satin Hammer.
"Stay back from me...NOW!"said Hammer.
"Or what?"said Hawk. "You gonna really gun me down this time? The woman I knew is dead..all the more reason that i'm gonna take you apart!"

"Really now."said Hammer.
She then swung out her left arm and fired a laser blast at her enemy.

Hawk then leapt high into the air and did flying dive straight downwards at Hammer.
"WHAT?"was all Hammer could get before Hawk collided with her head on.

"WHAMMM!"
The impact sent her flying into a nearby computer attachment,and a small explosion of sparks erupted from it.
The damage then caused a malfunction and jail cell doors opened.
"ALRIGHT!"said Roary. "Ready for action once more!"

Cammy meanwhile battled it out with La Loopa.
Loopa fired her nail extensions from her right hand at Cammy,but the commando was twice on the ball as she leapt into the air,
sommersaulted and landed flying kick into the cybor's head.

The impact sent her flying backwards,but she kept on her feet.
"Not bad!"she said. "But i'm still standing so that's not good enough!"

Suddenly,Loopa felt something hit her really hard in the back of her neck.
She swung around and saw Roary bringing down a final blow to her face,knocking the villian down to the floor.

She was out cold for sure this time.
"Heh...thanks Roary."said Cammy. "I was running out of tricks there."
"Hey,no problem."said Rory. "What are friends for?"

Suddenly,Hammer got back up and ran for the nearest exit.
Hawk ran after her.
"Hawk!"said Cammy. "Look,you lot take care of Hammer's bomb...i've gotta help my friend there!"
"Right!"said Bert.

The Delta Red team turned to the computer data banks and found the program upon the screen.
"I wish we had little olliver with us,but he's on holiday."said Celia. "Too right."said Rory. "He's out tecnho wizard!"

Roman sat down in the chair at the terminal. "No need to worry team."he said as he started to punch in a code to disarm the bomb.
"It's just a matter of experience..and knowing what to do."

Within a few minutes,Roman punched in a new order to cause the cyber bomb to fly out of the building and took off straight into the sky.
And once it was out of harm's way...it exploded into a million fiery pieces.
"KA-BOOOM!"

Hammer,who was on the rooftop saw what happened.
Her plan was doomed,she was defeated once again.
"WHAT-MY BOMB-MY BEAUTIFUL BOMB!"she cried.

"It's over now."said Hawk as he approached her once again.
Give it up Hammer-NOW!"

"Never!"said Hammer. "I'll die before I surrender!"
Hawk then in turn attacked again.
He leapt into the air and slammed down both of his massive hands into a double hand chop to the floor,causing a large earthquake on the roof.

The impact caused Hammer to fall to the floor once again and Hawk was on her like a flash.

Cammy came up the rooftop just in time to see Hawk dismembering her.
"HAWK!"she cried.

Hawk already had ripped both of her cybernetic arms off as well as her legs,she was now helpless to do anything.

He then was about to stomp his foot down upon her.
"No...don't do it,Hawk!"said Cammy. "You kill her...you'll be no better than her!
I know she betrayed you,it hurts I know...but it isn't worth it,believe me!"

Hawk took a deep sigh and then stepped away from the limbless villian of Hammer.
"HA!"said Hammer. "Just like a man..spinelss and-"
Cammy then kicked Hammer right in the face with her boot,knocking out the terrorist.
"Aw,shaddup luv!"she said. "Before I change my mind!"

Minutes later,a cleanup crew of police and firemen mopped up the mess and everything was back to normal again for MI-6.

Cammy herself however was seated at a table with her former friends Delta Red.
Hawk was also in the room with them.
She then explained what happened after she went back with Guile.

"So...you left Guile...just as you left us then."said Bert. "Well,that's just bloody typical isn't it?"said Celia. "Yeah mate."said Rory. "Is that how you treat people who save your damn life?"
"Well,what you want me to do?"said Cammy. "Give him a bloody medal?"

Bert towered over Cammy.
"No Cammy!"he said. "I...never agreed with anything Guile said or did...until now. He..he is a fine american man.
He saved your life..and this how you repay him? Ask yourself,do you really want to spend the rest of your life running life..thinking that you don't need anyone? Bollocks...people need people,even you!"

"I'm afraid he's right Cammy."said Spears. "Even if charges are all cleared,we could still arrest you after all that happened.
But...you did prove yourself once again and saved our lives."

Celia then went over to Cammy,stood over her,and simply smacked her across the face.
"CELIA!"shouted Bert.
"Uh-oh...not good."said Hawk.

Cammy then stood up and returned the favor.
Both stared long and hard into each other's eyes,both shedding a tear.

Celia then embraced her and whispered the words she meant to say long ago.
"I'm...i'm sorry for what you went through,Cammy."she said. "I'm sorry for hitting you..but...you've got to understand it may be your life,but we're trying to help you."

Cammy and Celia then pulled away from each other.
"Alright,Celia.."said Cammy. "I...forgive you,I forgive all of you. I just wanted to set the record straight once and for all.
But...I still have no place here any longer. I'm not sure if I do at all in the world."

"But you do Cammy."said Bert. "If you won't do it for yourself...please do it for me...go back to Guile and the street fighters.
I want you to be the one to heal all that's been hurt by our enemies."

"Bert's right,Cammy."said Hawk. "In fact,that's what i'm gonna do right now,head back to the USA with my folks,and then head back to the AN. I think Colonel Sawada is a lot more reasonable man than he appears to be."

"Alright,I..I will."said Cammy. "But...you couldn't give me a ride home with you,could ya?"
Hawk smiled. "I'd be happy to. Ready when you are."

Cammy then took one last look at her former family.
"I'll see what I can do Bert. Just promise that you'll listen to Guile the next time you ever work together again,alright?"
"I'll...i'll do that."said Bert. "And please tell him...he was right..the whole time about Bison. No one knew Shadaloo better than him.
He's a true soldier and friend...and you owe him that much."

Cammy nodded and then saluted the team before taking off with Hawk.

And they were gone.
Celia then took Bert's arm.
"Come on then,Bert."she said. "Tea time...and this time,i'm buying."
Bert smiled.

END FLASHBACK.
"Bert hopes you'll still forgive him Guile."said Cammy. "Him and the rest of the team.
"I'll...be sure to next time."said Guile. "I'm sorry you went through all that. But we owe you and a round of thanks."
Cammy nodded.

Escher then turned off the pocket recorder.
"Well...I think that ties all the loose ends up there."he said. "All that's left now is to welcome you back,but...let's let the team decide for themselves shall we?"

Cammy smiled and nodded.

Minutes later,Cammy stood before Chun-Li and the others.
"So...what do you say team?"said Guile. "All is forgiven?"

Li and the team looked at each other and then Cammy.
"Certainly."said Li. "I think I speak for all of us that we street fighters need each other,through thick and thin!"
"Here here!"said Ryu.
