She looked into their eyes one by one and immediately felt that that her world was about to change forever. Her animal instinct took over and she smelt the air. She knew what they were now. Vampires.

She awoke in the dark, scared and alone. "Is anyone there?" she called out, her voice echoing throughout the room. She felt something cold and hard behind her. She whipped around only to see that no one was there. This time she looked upwards and saw a dark figure there. A dark figure with red eyes. As she called out to him, she felt her blood boil and her skin split in two. Her canine teeth grew about an inch and she felt a tail growing. This whole process took around five minutes and was utter agony. The figure watched on with amusement and fascination. Then she tried to stand up , and she did , just on four paws instead of two legs. Wait ,paws?! She quickly examined her fur coat, which was peppered with black patches - just like a snow leopard. Was that what she was? A snow leopard? Her thoughts were interrupted by loud clapping from the figure. "Bravo!" it said stalking forward, "May you hold out your hand, I mean paw?". She shakily put her front left paw into his outstretched hand and winced at the icy coldness. Vaguely, she wondered what on earth he was doing and why she was in this pitch black room. "All in good time my dear!" the figure said chuckling darkly. That was strange, was he answering her thoughts? No way, not possible! "Oh, but it's very possible! You'll find out in due time, I'm sure." he said winking, "Try not to break anything in my absence." He left as her feline form whined from exhaustion. She curled up, confused and tired.
