It's cool that Clem let us fish together today," Violet chirped while Moo looked down, "but, um, are you okay with going near the stream?"

He wasn't paying attention.

"Moo?" Violet touched his shoulder getting his attention.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, yeah it's fine."

She furrowed her brows, "You feeling okay? I know you keep your mask on all the time, but you look like something's bothering you."

He shook his head, "I'm okay, Vi, really."

She shrugged, "Whatever you say, Moo."

As Violet and Moo walked along beside each other, Moo could barely speak to her after what Sophie told him last night. He didn't care that she liked girls but the fact that she didn't tell him about Minerva really got to him. Though it felt wrong because he didn't tell her all his exes.

Maybe because he had too many.

But Sophie told him that they didn't have the best relationship. He doubted in his right mind that Violet wasn't rude, neglectful, nor abusive to any lovers she had. Sophie may have been his friend by he'll just go out and say that she was the bitch in the relationship, not Violet.

When they stopped in front of a small shack, Violet looked up at him and smiled softly at him. Even though he was upset with her he couldn't help but give her a slight grin.

"Welp," she breathed, "we got some spears in there that we use to catch the fish."

He furrowed his brows, "No fishing poles?"

She shook her head, "Nope, we already got some trap for the fish in the stream too."

"I could go get them for us," he insisted.

"Oh, alright, I'll just go wait by the stream if that's good with you."

He scoffed, "I'll be fine."

Violet just shrugged heading to the stream. He went ahead going into the shack already seeing that the buckets and spears were leaning against the old rotted wall. As he went to grab them he stopped and noticed a mattress under a carved heart. As he walked closer, he saw the inside of it VM.

Violet and Minerva, he guessed since it possibly couldn't be him.

He shook his head and sighed at the sight. Now he had a few second thoughts about Violet's old girlfriend. Maybe they were in love going through some tough times. By the looks of it, this was their secret hideout, or just wanted to be alone together.

Then Moo furrowed his brows at the thought that they even made love here.

But he didn't ponder too long as he headed outdoors with the spears and buckets heading to the stream.

He found Violet sitting by the stream looking ahead not knowing he was there. He shook the buckets making her turn around and smile.

"That was quick, usually they're in the hardest places to find."

He didn't say anything but give Violet a spear a bucket. She thanked him and showed him where to catch fish.

"There's quite a lot of them today," she pointed as he saw them swimming upstream, "all we have to do is catch them and put them in the buckets."

"Sounds simple."

They started to watch the fish piercing them at the right time. Moo ended up catching a couple of big ones while Violet kept throwing her spear down not catching anything. She shook head cursing to herself as she kept trying. She ended catching this little puny one that she just tossed in the bucket and sighed.

While Moo kept catching more fish, Violet sat back down burying her face in her knees. Moo looked at her with concern putting his spear down. He touched her shoulder squeezing it gently with Violet not acknowledging him.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

She sighed, "I'm so fucking useless, Moo."

"No, you aren't."

"Yes I am!" she spat angrily, "it's my shitty eyesight, I can't even catch a damn fish!"

He turned away then he saw his spear smiling, coming up with a great idea to get her mind off this.

"It's been a while since we fought on the seven seas, don't you agree, Captain Yellow Beard?"

Violet started to giggle, "Moo, don't you think we're a little too old to be playing pirates?"

He shook head picking up his spear, "Your questions are boring me, Yellow Beard, do accept my duel or not?"

She got up picking back her spear then pointing towards Moo as if she was holding a sword.

"It's on, Sir Val the Brave," she challenged in her best pirate expression.

Moo then picked up his spear and they both started sword fighting with them. Now, this was great, he started realizing that he was upset for no reason. The two were alone together and he brought back some childhood nostalgia. He started to see that this is what really made him happy. Finally spending some quality time with his best friend and making her happy.

That was the real deal.

Catching Moo off guard, Violet knocked his spear out of his hands with hers then pointed it to his chest as he held his hands up in surrender.

"You've gotten rusty, Val the Brave, but Yellow Beard still has her touch," she bragged making him roll his eyes.

"Please, I let you have that one," he whined.

Violet laughed, "Ha! Yeah right, those are just the words of a sore loser."

He went over picking back up his spear pointing it at her once again.

"How about a rematch then?" he challenged.

"It's so on."

Later on, Violet and Moo went exploring through the woods a little while holding their bucket of fresh-caught fish. As they walked, Moo, put his arm out in front of Violet.

"What is it?" she asked nervously.

"Two corpses up ahead," he said quietly.

But then he got this mischievous look on his face turning to Violet.

"Wanna see something cool?"

She furrowed her brows, "What is it?"

He smiled, "Trust me."

Before she could have a say in Moo pulled out his machete as he ran towards them. When they saw him they started walking towards him moaning and growling. Violet was about to yell for him to come back, but with a flash, when the two walkers were side by side Moo cleanly sliced off both their heads. He laughed as the bodies still walked before falling to their knees while the heads were still growling at him.

He looked back at Violet to find her pale white in fear. His expression changed quickly with concern.

"Vi, what's the matter?"

"Y-you could've been killed!"

He grabbed her hand and lifted up her chin, "Hey, it was just two of them."

"I know but even one can do some damage."

"Look, you don't ever gotta worry about me getting bit, ever. Okay?"

She sighed heavily then smiled, "Sorry, I just overreacted, it was just two, not a whole horde."

"I get it."

They both laughed as they walked away from the dead walkers, continuing on with their expedition.

"I gotta admit, that was kinda awesome."

"So, are piercings like traditional in your family?" Violet asked touching his silver nose ring.

"Nah, I just wanted to get them because my mom, Cobra, and Ivy got some."

Moo leaned backed more on the tree where the two stopped and yawned.

"Mom just wanted her birthstone, Cobra's practically in love with them, and Ivy just wanted to look more intimidating."

"Nicóle doesn't have any?"

"No, she was too much of a wuss to get any."

Violet raised a brow, "So, do you got any more besides the ones on your nose, eyebrows, and ear?"

He chuckled tapping his chest, "Yep."

She had to think before he knew what he was talking about and then she widened her eyes.

"Your nipples too?!"

"What? I thought they would suffice my look, but I don't wear them much."

"Damn, Moo, that's hardcore."

"Hardcore is my middle name."

Violet rolled her eyes, "Thought you told me it was Bobby?"

"Sshh!! Don't say that shit out loud!" he covered her mouth making her burst with laughter.

He looked at her face touching her nose, "Huh, maybe you should get a piercing too."

"What?" confused by his suggestion.

"I think you'd look good with a nose ring, and maybe... nips too."

"Shut up," she shoved his arm as he laughed.

He soon saw some little flowers fall down from the tree making him sneeze. But he took one of them putting it in Violet's hair. She touched it then blushed while Moo chuckled at her reaction.

"I think you look cute with flowers in your hair," he grinned.

She looked up at his hair and giggled, "You don't look too bad either."

He looked up then brushed off all the flowers that fell in his hair, "They don't look manly on me."

"I think you're manly enough."

He shrugged, "Meh, if you say so Vi."

Moo looked down to his feet and sighed, "Hey, um, I'm really sorry about the other night."

"Oh, Moo, I said it was alright..."

"No, it's not," he stopped her, "I shouldn't of said all those things to you or at the game. I have... outbursts sometimes and I can't control them. But it still doesn't excuse me trying to harm you."

She touched his hand looking straight into his eyes, "We all have our moments, Moo. I know you don't wanna hurt me in any way, and I never wanna hurt you."

"How do you know that?"

"Because, you're my... friend," she smiled nervously.

Moo didn't know why she hesitated on that last part.

"We'll always be friends, right?"

Again she hesitated, "Right."

About later through the day, the two headed back to the school with now buckets of smelly fish.

"This was fun," Violet sighed relaxingly, "you actually made fishing trips great."

He smiled, "Just trying to cheer you up."

"Well, it worked."

As they both laughed they Clementine standing outside the gate, her worried expression softening when she saw the two.

"There you two are," she sighed in relief, "where've you been?"

Violet smiled at Moo, "Just hangin' out."

Clem shrugged, "Well, at least you two came back safe, that's all that matters."

She then sniffed scrunching up her nose at the scent, "God, what's that smell?"

"Oh, um, the fish was sitting in the bucket all the time that we hung out," Violet chuckled nervously.

She groaned, "Ugh, well it's fine, we have plenty of food anyway that you guys brought back."

As the three walked through the gates Violet went on ahead while Cleaning stopped Moo with arm. She looked up at him and smirked a little as he didn't know what was she going to say.

"Hey, thanks for going with her today," she thanked as Moo smiled back, "I never seen her this happy after a fishing trip."

"I'm always glad to put a smile on her face."

She touched his shoulder, "It's good to know that I can trust you, especially being around her."

Wait, what did that mean?

He just ignored it and kept smiling, "Thanks, now I gotta throw this shit out."

Clem nodded profusely, "Yes, please do."

When Violet walked in her room closing the door behind her, she saw Blossom in her crib sleeping while Vivian sat across from her looking up at Violet. Violet smile quickly faded feeling a deep sense of confusion and annoyance when saw her.

"So," Vivian clicked her tongue, "Moo took my spot today I heard."

Violet rolled her eyes, "Why is that a problem and where's Ruby?"

"I told her she could have a break today, but that's not my point."

"What point?"

"That boy needs to know so he knows you have boundaries."

"There are no boundaries, Vivian!" Violet exclaimed making Vivian flinch, "We're just friends! Fucking friends! Why don't you get that?!"

"You remember my leader, Damien don't you? Or have you forgotten on what he did to ya, mate?"

She winced at the sound of his name, never thought she had to hear it again, "I don't want to talk about him."

But Vivian pushed on, "Kept hoverin' around ya like a damn housefly like Moo's doin' now."

"Stop it, Vivian," she growled lowly.

"And on that very night he knocked you out cold..."

"Shut up!"

"...And had his way with you!"

At that, Violet pulled Vivian by the arm throwing her out the door. Her face turned red with anger as her blood boiled at the thought that Vivian would ever accuse her best friend of doing such acts.

"How fucking dare you!" she yelled angrily, "Moo isn't capable of doing sick shit like that! I don't know what your logic is, but I think you need to shove that shit right up your fucking ass!"

"Violet, I was just tryin' to out for you," Vivian defended, "he just looks like danger."

"Bullshit!"

Violet slammed the door in her face before Vivian had anything else to say. She was tired of these accusations about Moo. She just had a fun day with him and she had to come to this shit. He may look dangerous, but he's far from that, at least to Violet. She knew in her heart that he would never hurt her in any way possible. All of it was just bullshit.

She sighed running her hand over her face out of frustration. That wasn't her biggest problem though.

Her biggest problem was that this afternoon, her feelings for him only grew higher and higher, and they never stopped growing.

"Mamá, you can't do this!" Cobra spat while Victoria was pacing around her room.

"This is all my fault!" she cried, "If I would've gone with him..."

"Enough!" Cobra stopped her by grabbing her shoulders, "You didn't cause this, he did."

"I agree," Raven chimed in angrily, "That fucking bastard is the root of the problem."

Coyote looked down to her feet, "Miss Tori, I feel like this is some of my fault too."

"It's no one's fault," he declared loudly, "and you can stop stressing out about this."

"Stressing out?!" Victoria growled impatiently, "he wants mí bebe varón in exchange for Marisol back!"

Cobra sighed, "He would do anything to get Matéo."

"Sí, he's been wanting him ever since he was born..."

Coyote then confronted her looking straight into Victoria's teary brown eyes.

"Miss Tori, I'm willing to do anything in my power to keep him safe," she reassured her, "I may not share blood with you, but you've always treated me like I do. Trust me, I'll always stay loyal to Marisol and you."

Victoria smiled kissing her on the forehead, "Gracias, Coyote."

"You two got this," Raven tapped both Coyote and Cobra on the shoulders, "Go keep him safe, I have to stay here with mom, I can't risk her being put in danger."

She went in her chesser drawers pulling out a crinkled map handing it to Coyote and Cobra.

"This is where Matéo and the others are staying," she pointed out to the red X on the side of the map, "he gave this to me so I wouldn't worry. I want you to go find him and tell him to stay where he is for now, don't tell him anything about why."

They both looked at Coyote as she looked back in confusion.

"What?"

Cobra looked to his mother, "Whatever you do, you're not going near that monster."

Victoria sighed, "I have to, mijo, for the town, for Violet and her hermanas, and for your hermanó."

"I won't let you!" Cobra cried, "He's gonna kill you!"

She touched his cheek wiping some his tears away, "Oh, mijo, don't worry about me, you' ll be strong for mamá, won't you?"

He sniffled, "I will, but if he hurts you, I'll kill that bastard myself."

"Alright then,", Coyote stepped up, "we'll leave in two days, we just gotta check in with Catalina and then we'll head out."

Cobra and Victoria nodded, "That sounds good to me."
