Miss Inu A/N:Okay, I know it's been a very long time since any updates in the story and I know most of you guys are probably mad for no new updates for about 4 to 5 years or so (I would be too). Life was just giving me a hard time, so I didn't feel like writing anything for a long time and my job was causing me a lot of stress in my life. Homelife wasn't helping either, so I was taking some time in my life to fix my own life problems and put my writing projects on hold, until life problems were solved.
But, thanks to a very good friend of mind, [My RP buddy and Kindered Spirited Sister: Rocksha Lunesta] I was able to get through my hard time/depression and a few of the life struggling problems, kick it hard in the ass and finally just said 'screw this depression and get back to the story, Miss. Inu!'~)
So,…for now, I am back and ready to try and do some long time overdue catching up on this series, with a little fresh-up cleared mind and with some few good ideas. I do have some future worlds that the keyblade group is gonna visit, but I'm writing out those idea plots on notebook papers, so they can be easier to transfer to laptop, when I need to do their world chapters. [More Details later to come in future Notes]
So again, enough with the rambling and let's being shall we?

Chapter 13: Learning From The Teacher
Previously In HEART OF SOULS:
"After a few minutes had passed, everyone turned their attention back to Master Yen Sid, as he waved his hand in the air, as he used magic to have a brown leather covered book appear on a desk nearby them. The group kept their eyes on the book, wondering what it was.
"In this book…are the pages, of what every Keyblade wielder needs to know, about what their mission is, when on their journeys'. Some of you know already what is in this book, and some of you don't. Even so, it doesn't hurt to a little of a refreshing reminder of your duties that you need to do…." Yen Sid, as he waved his hand to the group, motioning them to come over and look at the book. "Read it carefully, and study its contents well, for the knowledge that this book contains will help you, in a difficult situation…should the time ever calls upon you to use it…"
Sora and the group looked at the book carefully, reading every single items and txt that was written in the book, taking mental notes in their mind. When they were done reading the book, the book magically closed itself and floated off to go be put on a shelf in another room.
"Now, then, since you have all done some 'light reading', we shall go over a few last things, to help with the two new Keyblade wielders and how to deal with the enemies of the darkness…"
And so, the two new Keyblade wielders were gonna get another explaination, to better understand their duties as The Keyblade's chosen users…

"As you have learned and seen on your travels, there is darkness, in all living creations. Every living being and creature…they all fight the great battle of darkness and light, always having a choice, in choosing which side to be on. The choice is never easy, and there are always trials that the heart must take on its path, but there is hidden strength in the path of light. But to find that hidden strength, one must look very closely into the darkness of their own inner hearts…" Yen Sid said in a calming tone, as his words seemed to be aimed very closely at Ichigo.
Ichigo turned to Sora with a confused look on his face, as if he couldn't seem to understand what had just been said and wanted a simpler explanation said. Sora looked back at Ichigo and just gave him a look, which seemed to tell him to just listen to what Yen Sid was saying and to ask questionable thoughts later.
Now was not the time to ask question and to just listen, because all answers can be revealed…
In the most important little details, hidden in the words of the knowledgeable…
"Once, the worlds of the universe lived in harmony and peace, living their lives with no thought of being in danger or in life threating harm. The roads, which led to the connected paths that each world could visit and travel to, were safely touched and guarded by the light that every heart carried on within themselves."
"Many years and centuries go on, with the time of peace lasting as long as it did…
…But like a stories about peace and harmony life, it never did truly last forever, as much as some people wanted it to last…."
"The armies and enemies of darkness made their move, when they saw a chance to….and took that chance, they did."
"The darkness spread throughout all the worlds and all the lands, before anyone had a chance to react or stop it from arriving. Like a deadly disease, it spread far and wide, as much as possible it could in what little time and power they could spare. They took every light and heart that they could find and use it to fuel their power-
Giving them strength and making them even more stronger, as an almost impossible force to deal with." Yen Sid continued to the group, as he continued on with his explanation.
"The only force that could stop them from their continuing their evilness from spreading, was the power of light and the guarding wielders that could use that light to fight the darkness. They were known as the Guardians of Light or wielders of the key….Keyblader wielders or Keybearer, as their now called in this time.
They have the power to fight and combat the darkness, destroying it from taking over all the hearts and turning them into tools of darkness. But the way of the Keyblade is a difficult path to choose, and it only get harder with each passing time, in learning its many ways of using its power."
"In one of the ways that the Keybearer used to deal with the darkness, is using their Keyblade weapons to seal doorway paths or use them to open barrier pathways. When sealing doorway paths with the Keyblade, the power it has can seal or 'lock' that particular world's Keyhole, making the darkness unable to stealing the heart that world. Other uses of the Keyblade are locking and unlocking any lock, and be given access to any sealed interior like for example…a locked room, gate treasure chest or anything else that a normal key wouldn't be able to open. Each Keyblade also has a special hidden power, which only each singular Keyblade can do and only their own special chosen wielder, can hold and control it."
"In other words, only Keyblade Wielders….can be given this task and only they, can combat the darkness and restore the light to the worlds out there in the universe."
The words of the explanation were being listened and taking to heart, as they needed to be. The explanation had to be remembered very well, so they can be used if needed to be or if something important came up, and the knowledge would have to be used then.
"So, in some way of what you were telling us…the Darkness…is after, the light in people's hearts?" Riku asked, asking her question to help her understand a bit more at what they were being told. "Am I correct?"
"You are correct, in understanding what I am saying. The Darkness, has always been after the light in people's hearts." Yen Sid said, as he nodded his head at her, as a way of saying to her that she got part of what he said right. "There's so much still we don't know, about why they want to do this and what their true motives are. That knowledge is still being studied and learned with each passing day, to figure out its true meaning of existence."
"But we have learned a lot about the darkness, from the tales and adventures the Keyblade wielders of the past have done. For example…" Yen Sid walked over to a desk and waved his hand over, using his magic to make a large tome appear on the desk. He waved his hand again, which made the large tome opened up. A bright light appeared out of the tome and showed off an image of a shadow with glowing bright yellow eyes.
The group stared at the image that Yen Sid was showing them, as Sora and his friends knew what it was. But the creature that Riku and Ichigo saw was something completely knew to them, and they had no idea of what to make of it.
"This Creature, is known to be one of the many different forms of the Heartless-A shadow, this one type, is preferable known to be called. Heartless are creatures of darkness which manifests in two forms to belong: 'Pureblood' and 'Emblem'. Purebloods were created straight from the human heart, they are what our hearts hide away with darkness. In most cases the Heartless are manifested hearts, they are without emotionless, almost completely devoid of them…so that's where the name 'Heartless' come from.
The shadow you see in front of you, is perfect example of a Pureblood Heartless-they are the natural ones out of all the Heartless, born from an actual human heart and not created by machines or experimentation."
He waved his hand again, changing the image of the Shadow Heartless to a different one: this one which was wearing clothing of dark blue, black and red, on top of its head was a weird looking helmet of some sort.
"A 'Soldier': another type of Heartless but labeled in the Emblem category. The Emblem Heartless were originally created by the experiment/machinery way, reproduced by the process of a heart consumed by darkness. When some time has passed, that stolen heart that is lost in the darkness, can become an Emblem. Emblems come in a various shapes, colors and each one is branded with a symbol to differentiate them from the Pureblood Heartless. Emblems would be found more in places and worlds within the Realm of Light, hiding very cleverly in their worlds by using the skill of mimic-
Taking on the shape of creatures or objects, to fully blend into that world."
"And finally, the last enemy I shall be talking about for now, is the 'Nobody': a special type of being from the realm of darkness…" Yen Sid waved his hand once again over the tome, changing the image of the soldier Heartless to a new figure all in white and dancing around, it had a mouth was of a zipper, with an emblazoned on its chest that was in shape on an upside-down heart mark. This type of Nobody is called a 'Dusk'. Dusks and Nobodies are a lot stronger than most of the Heartless, that have come from the darkness. Nobodies are created with a body and soul, from whatever is left behind by the hearts, that have been consumed by the Heartless."
"A lot of Nobodies that don't have strong wills, will usually be possessed malformed or barley humanoid appearances, like the Dusk you see before you. Then there some Nobodies that under special circumtances, there will be sometimes have a Nobody which is formed with some slight changes to their appearances.
But then,…there are the Nobodies that have the strongest wills,….they are the only ones that can manage to retain a human form.
So the more humanoid a Nobody is, the more power it can be. But the same thing can't be said about the Heartless, which has an opposite side nature to it, cause of their form is more on the monstrous side and will can grow stronger, depending on how the original heart is.
However, in both the Nobodies and the Heartless, they are still incapable of feeling emotions as they lack any form of a heart."
But on the other hand, the Nobodies somehow manage to keep their memories of the heart's former lives, but most unusual, Nobodies also lack memories of their former lives selves. So through these memories that the hearts had carried, Nobodies are able to remember what it was like to feel and have emotions, making them be allowed to respond to the correct specific situation that they are in. Yet though despite their lack of emotions from the heart, Nobodies can and are able to think for themselves-
Which allows them to attack with definite planning and strategy, which in turn, making them more dangerous than any Heartless ever created."
The group didn't say anything for a few moments, as the information lecture had looked to be finished at this time. The whole of room was silent as for a few minutes, before a person spoke up to say something.
"So…with everything you just told us, these Heartless are the ones responsible for all the bad stuff that's been going on in all these worlds that are in the universe?" Ichigo asked Yen Sid, as he must have tried to come up an idea theory of what was going on with all the stuff that they had been through.
Yen Sid nodded as a way of agreeing with Ichigo's question. "In your way of words,…Yes, the Heartless are the main reason, for all the destructions that the worlds in the universe had suffered through. It's because of them, that you and your companion Riku, were sent away from your hometown and brought to Traverse Town, allowing you to meet up with Sora…and becoming the new chosen wielders, of bearing the task of Keyblade wielders."
"Keyblade Wielders…that word keeps being brought up. Why were we chosen to be Keyblade Wielders? And how can we get our world back, to what it was before…all this, happened?" Riku asked, as she had the feeling of loss in her heart, of losing their home and world, to the darkness and the Heartless that took over. It was because of them, that they lost everything,…their friends their home, and everyone they loved and cared for.
And if there was a way to get their world back, she would chose that path in a heartbeat.
Whatever it took, she would give her life she had too…
To reclaim all that they had lost.
"No one knows why the Keyblade choses it's wielders, but never the less, you two were both chosen. And it's now your duty, to fight the Heartless and defeat the darkness,….restoring the light back to the worlds that have been lost to the Heartless." Yen Sid said to them, giving them at least on way of a clue to figure their roles out.
Now the knowledge has been told, it will soon be time to leave for the journey-
And the first steps of the journey, will soon begin….
In the area of the universe that seems a little darker than most world's paths, a familiar miasma darkness was feeling a bit irritated at the moment. The miasma fog was forming some darkness in different parts of the word's roads, snuffing out the spots that have pure heart lights and taking them over with the Heartless. The energy that was taking from the light was added to the miasma's own power, making it get a little bit more strength.
It hated to do this all the time, as they had no other way or source to keep them alive. If only it had a stronger power source, something with a stronger and more pure….
Something, that was kept hidden safe and unnoticed, for many, many centuries….
But now, it had something more important to deal with…
That Girl-
The one who released it from it long tiresome prison…
Who was she and why did she want to help them so much?
What was her endgame?
What secrets was she hiding from them?
The darkness knew that it wouldn't get any answers from the girl straight away, she would try and dodge its questions. Oh yes, it knew that very well and it also knew, what kind of person that girl was:
She was type to hide secrets and use traps and tricks, to get what she wanted. She was the type of person who go down the path of darkness…
And she would walk it with a big smile on her face.
And speak of the devil, the footsteps of a female were being heard coming close by, as the scent of her aura was in the air and alerting that she had arrived to see them.
"Well, how are you enjoying your freedom?" The girl Reine asked, sounding abit curious. The darkness let off a grunt of annoyance at having her be here at this time.
"Freedom?...You dare ask me,…about me, having Freedom?' The darkness said, talking in its low covered voice, trying not go flying off the handle from anger, at still feeling like a prisoner in its miasma form.
"Are you saying, that I didn't help you?" Reine asked, her silvery blue tinted eyes looking up at the miasma darkness, with curious look in her eyes. She seemed to be a bit curious and was also thinking, of what this darkness creature was going on about. "Didn't I create a portal that allowed you to get out of that space, which you were in before?"
"Yes, you did and I thank you for that, but you didn't set me freely…truly setting me free." The darkness said, as the girl didn't seem to understand what this creature what was trying to tell her. "I may have left that forsaken black pit of nothingness, but I won't be fully free, until I returned to my formal form…"
"Your formal form? You mean, this isn't how you normally look?" Reine asked, as she got silence for an answer, which seemed to tell her that she was correct in what she said. "So…you want to find a way, to return to your normal form and gain what some people might call: 'Eternal Freedom'?"
Again, another bit of silence was her answer, telling her that she was correct once again. The look of mischief and cruelty was shown in her eyes again, as an idea started to form in her mind.
"Why don't fix that little problem? You want to go back into your formal form, and I want to get rid of a few….nuisances. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is…" A smirky grin appeared on her face, as she gave off her idea to the miasma darkness.

"Why don't we work together?"
Miss Inu A/N: AND THE 13TH CHAPTER IS FINALLY DONE! (like Organization 13, lol) and might seemed a bit disappointed to get a not very long chapter for waiting this long, but I promise, some really good stuff will be coming around the corner very soon. ^-^
And don't worry in thinking of that it's gonna be another long chapter wait for the next chapter upload, there will be a couple of chapters that will be uploaded this weekend.~
