As the gunshots ranged loudly from the broken window Moo hugged Violet tightly as she rested in his arms. He felt her body still trembling from what he had done to her but it began to lessen after a while.

His heart was in pieces after what he did, he had promised himself that he wouldn't do this to anyone else, especially to Violet. Anger and hate just got the better of him, with all this shit going on at once it was harder to control the impulses. He never knew why pain pleasured him so much during sex, he's been like this for as long as he could remember. He was capable of being gentle and tried his best to be gentle with Violet.

But with Miguel hovering over him with a gun pointed at his head there was going to be a little chance of him staying calm throughout the whole time.

"I'm sorry you had to suffer like that," he murmured running his fingers down her hair.

"You don't have to be," she croaked her voice a bit strained from all the yelling she's done, "I'm yours, remember? Besides, we were gonna do it anyway."

"But not like that, Vi," he blurted, "I had no right to treat you like that," he rubbed the small bruise on her cheek, "I never wanted to hurt you like this when we were going to do it when we got back. I don't know what got into me."

She chuckled weakly, "Sometimes, we can't control ourselves."

"I wish I did . . ."

Violet frowned looking up at him, "Hey, I know you didn't mean it. I can tell you never made love before."

He raised a brow, "'Make love'? I'm pretty sure I've done that before."

She shook her head, "No, no, there are two types of sex, making love and just straight fuck. I can tell you're used to just straight fucking because you never had an intimate person to do it with, have you?"

He blinked thinking about it, the person he was in a serious relationship with, never got to do it, but in his second relationship, they did. But he didn't feel like their sex was intimate, it was always what they wanted, not him, and afterward, he was beaten up pretty badly, and sometimes they did it unwillingly. It was almost the same thing with the girls he's been with ever since he can back to Charlottesville, he had no feelings for them and just did what he wanted to them since all of them were brain dead.

Violet was different.

He was actually in love with her something he never thought would happen in his life. With her, he wanted to give what she wanted even when he was forced to have sex with her.

He soon realized it wasn't only his anger that fueled him, but his own pain as well.

I never actually made love, he thought sadly to himself.

"I guess I haven't," he sniffled feeling ashamed.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about it," she wiped away some of his tears, "you're new to this and I get it, you're new to me too. But I know how to make love, maybe not with a guy, but I know how to in general."

"I just don't see how to."

She smiled softly at him, "Don't worry, we'll learn as we go."

He smirked kissing her on the forehead then hugged her tighter in his arms as she snuggled in closer.

It didn't last long when jumped to the sound of a gunshot close to the broken window and a bullet flying in hitting a mirror. They were lucky the window was out of reach but it was a risk to stay in the room if the battle was that close to them.

"Shit," Moo hissed to himself, "we gotta get the hell out of here first."

Violet blinked looking up at him in concern, "What about Miguel, won't he track us down?"

"Don't worry when there's war like this it's hard for him not to stay out of it," he sat up touching her hand, "besides, if does come after us I'll protect you."

When he got up he grabbed Violet's hand gently leading her off the bed. As she started to walk she groaned in pain collapsing on the floor when she only made the first couple of steps.

Moo's heart began to race when he saw her not being able to get back up falling every time she tried.

"W-what's wrong?" he asked worryingly.

She winced in pain, "It hurts so fucking much," she breathed, "I feel like a whole bucket of knives fell on me."

He squeezed his eyes shut trying to hold back tears, "It's okay, it's gonna be okay," he kneeled down to her level, "I can carry you."

"But Moo, won't you—"

"Hey, its fine, don't worry about that."

He began to pick her bridal style holding her like an fragile antique piece of glass not wanting to hurt her more. Violet looked at him in concern when she saw him wince in pain looking at his bullet wounded shoulder on the same side where his bad arm was.

He noticed her look giving her a reassuring smile, "Don't worry, sunshine, it doesn't hurt bad enough for me to drop you."

"It's not that, you're gonna injure yourself more if you go on like this."

"I told you, don't worry about me," he kissed her on the forehead, "I'll die before I let anything bad happen to you."

She frowned, "Please, don't say shit like that."

He just sighed in response proceeding to carry her out the room making their way to the gates.

"You stay right here, alright?" Dixon informed under a tree far enough from the gates.

"You know where they are, don't you?" Victoria asked frantically, "I don't know how long this will last."

He sighed, "I don't know either, but I promise they'll be here, safe, as soon as possible."

"Please, they have to be."

"They will be."

She gave him a small but tight hug then he pulled away from her grip running back into the warfare making his way to where Moo and Violet were placed.

Making it down the hall, Moo's pace was fast but steady as he carried Violet. The pain from the wound and his abled arm overwhelmed him now and then but he had a high tolerance for pain, plus, he's been shot a few times before.

Either way, he didn't care about how he felt, his main focus was Violet and keeping her safe.

Violet stayed tense in his arms out of fear of trouble coming up their way. She truly trusted him with her safety, but just wanted to be cautious as muckh as possible just in case.

She winced at the soreness that still lingered in between her legs then rubbed her belly and frowned. She tried her best to not think about nor even talk about it, but it kept eating her away that Moo himself didn't talk about it since he was the one that . . . did her.

"Hey, Moo?"

"Yeah?" he spoke taking breaths as he kept his pace.

She looked down fidgeting her fingers, "After we . . . ya' know . . . did you . . . um . . . really give Miguel what he wanted?"

He blinked slowing down, his lips were parted as if he wanted to say something, but no words came. She then saw him shake his head looking down at her with a sigh.

"I don't know."

She sighed, "You're right, it was stupid of me to ask, you weren't even looking anyway."

He furrowed his brows, "I . . . " he looked away guiltily, "all I can say is that . . . I'm sorry."

That didn't reassure one bit, it just made her want to know more if he came in her or not.

But she didn't want to speak no more about until they got back into town. She honestly just wanted to forget about, act like it didn't happen, and just wanted to have sex they way wished for.

The way I want to show him . . .

It was probably best not to talk about right at that moment.

He sped up pace once more seeing an opening up ahead with Moo praying that it was it closer to freedom.

He slowed down not wanting to just run in without question not knowing if anyone was in there. He stopped beside the doorway slowly peaking in the empty large room, he assumed this was the living room since it was the biggest room he saw in the mansion with a couple of other rooms leading up to it.

"See anyone?" Violet whispered.

He shook his head, "So far, it's clear."

He then stepped in inch by inch, when looked around again making sure nobody came he fully stepped out looking around again with Violet doing the same. He cautiously walked across through searching for some kind of exit or a hint on where it might be.

His head whirled around when could the fighting going outside with it being strangely too loud to listen from the inside. When turned to see where the sound was coming from he gasped when saw door at the end of the room that slightly cracked open leading to the outside.

"What is it?" Violet asked worryingly.

"Our ticket to getting the hell outa here," he chirped heading to the door.

She sighed in relief resting more easily in his arms.

He stepped in front the door smiling to himself thinking this was too good to be true then opened the door looking down at Violet with a soft smile.

"We'll home before you know it."

He leasurily began to walk out when suddenly he froze at a roaring voice.

"Don't move!!" the husky voice yelled.

Moo felt Violet go cold at the voice not knowing why. He did stop not knowing what the person had but he didn't dare to test him even though he really wanted to.

"Now, turn around," he hissed.

Moo hesitantly did what he say said facing him with a hard expression. When he saw him his eyes were wild and insane like a rabid lion, his breaths were heavy as his nostrils flared in anger, and his face was a fiery shade of red.

His hands were shaking in fury as he held a shotgun rifle at Moo's neck, the highest he could go since Moo was so tall. They stood their ground glaring daggers at each before the man spoke up.

"Put her down," he said motioning the gun to the couch.

"Go fuck yourself," Moo snarled the demand triggering him.

"I swear to God, don't make me pull this fucking trigger," he growled, "put her down, now, dammit!!"

"Just do what he says!" Violet cried desperately, "he's fucking dangerous, Moo."

He looked down at Violet furrowing his brows at her expression, "Vi, I don't know if I should," he said narrowing his eyes at the man, "I can't keep getting you hurt."

"I know you don't wanna do this, but please, you don't know what he's capable of. Trust me, both of us will die if we don't do what he says."

Moo noticed the tone of her voice sounded so sure like she what he was like.

Like they've met before . . .

A spark of jealousy came when he saw that the man was staring painfully at Violet as she couldn't help but look away from his gaze. It made it harder for Moo to try to follow the man's orders, but went on hesitantly putting Violet on the nearest couch as gently as possible then turned to face him with his position firm and still but wanted to throw up his insides at the sight of the being pointed at him.

"Now you listen to me," his eyes remained on Moo, "got it, spic?"

Violet widened her eyes whipping her head around to Moo knowing how short tempered at those comments ever since they were young. Some events haunt her to this day at the retaliation he did to people for such names and the pain he suffered.

One of them being the hit and run that damaged his arm.

Her worst fears came true when Moo matched over to the man without thinking going for his neck.

She screamed in horror when the gun went off towards him and his movement became still.

But to her relief the bullet passed him and stopped holding his hands up in surrender.

"Move again and I promise you that gun will move two more inches over," he growled the gun now aimed between his eyes.

"What do you want from me, you damn bastard?" his tone ice cold.

"I wanna know why you're with her," he turned to Violet with a murderous glare, "why him, huh? I wasn't good enough for you? I'm not as good lookin' as him?"

"I never wanted you, Damien, it was a mistake!"

This was Damien, Moo kept screaming in his head. He didn't know how she could be with such psycho.

Wait . . .

"Bullshit!" he walked closer to Moo, "you felt something when you kissed me that night; I know you did!!"

"I told you it was a mistake, if I ever hurt you some kind of way, I'm sorry, okay?"

He shook his head, "I don't need your damn sympathy, all I wanna know is why!"

"Because I love him, not you!!" Violet roared in frustration trying to get the point across.

He blinked with his lips trembling at her words.

His head slowly turned to her his face growing more into a psychotic look with the gun still pointing at Moo.

"You fucked him, didn't you?" he said lowly almost inaudible for Violet and Moo to hear.

Moo turned to her his heart dropping when she turned away from the two staying quiet.

"I don't have to answer that," she hissed making Damien more furious with her.

He narrowed his eyes into slits at her, "You did, you fucking slut. I should've fucked your ass while you were awake so you'll feel every bit of pain you made me feel."

Moo started shaking with heatness starting to overwhelm at the sound of his voice.

"I should choke your ass to death with the barrel of that gun and shoot your insides out."

Damien chuckled, "Well it's such ashame that you're not the one holding the gun," Moo gritted his teeth at his comment, "now, I'm taking her with me and we can just all leave without making a mess."

"No!!" Violet cried her breaths heightening knowing she can't run.

"Over my dead body," Moo walked to the couch where Violet laid standing defensively in front of it."

"That can be arranged."

Damien's finger was inches away from fully pulling the trigger when, all of a sudden, a shot ranged out from behind him. He fell to the ground dropping the gun screaming in agony holding his bullet wounded knee.

Moo looked up to find Dixon behind the act with fresh smoke coming from his shotgun.

As Dixon rushed to them Moo took the opportunity to tackle Damien holding him down with his weight taking all his anger out by viciously punching in the face numerous times. In the first few punches he broke his nose as the nostils started to stream with blood, a few of his teeth were knocked with one blow, and facial bones began to break at each punch.

Violet crawled over looking down and watched blankly with cold eyes as Damien kept yelling for him to stop while Moo was turning his face into a bloody mask. It was the one time in her life she didn't care if Moo ends up killing him.

Once he satisfied Moo then slithered his hands over the man's neck slowly began to suffocate him. He smirked when he watched him desperately gasp for air and giggled a bit when started clawing at his arms trying to get the teen off of him.

"Matéo, that's enough, get off!" Dixon ordered pulling him off of him.

To Dixon's concern Damien laid limp on the ground his face drenched in blood. He kneeled pressing two fingers to his neck then sighed after a few seconds.

"He's knocked out cold, that's for damn sure," he got up now scolding at the two, "what the hell are you guys doing right here anyway? You could've been killed!"

"What'd you expect us to do? Stay and wait for Miguel to get back?" Moo barked back, "we did what we had to do."

He shook his head, "I understand, but, it's just that was the first place I looked for you guys."

"But you found us so there's nothing to worry about now, okay?"

Dixon rolled his eyes walking to door, "Fine, let's hurry up and go, everyone else is waiting outside."

When Moo Walked over to pick up Violet Dixon looked over in confusion and concern on he had to carry the girl.

"What's wrong with her? Is she injured?" he asked worryingly.

Moo frowned guiltily, "She's . . . sore."

He cocked his head, "How?"

The two looked at each other with Violet shaking her head trying to tell him to not say anything while the guilt kept eating him away.

"She's just sore, that's all you need to know," he spoke coldly.

Dixon shrugged taken aback at his tone, "Have it your way, let's just move."

The two nodded starting to follow behind before Moo walked over to an unconscious Damien kicking him a few times in the side of his of his stomach.

"Matéo! I said quit!" Dixon yelled in frustration.

Moo unwillingly did what he said and continued to follow him out the door heading to the gates.

Outside wasn't any better.

Everyone may have been fighting in the back but walkers started to flood in through the broken gate. Moo may have been immune but he had to be careful with Violet in his arms.

Dixon stopped in front of Moo trying to look for a passage way through the walkers. He cursed to himself when there was no luck then digged through the bag around his back pulling out a long machete.

He turned to Moo and chuckled, "I was gonna give this back to you, but since you have her on your hands, 'mind if I use it?"

Moo shrugged, "As long as you know how to use it and get us the hell outta here, go crazy."

Dixon nodded at his approval going ahead to slice off any walker heads that he saw making them fall to the ground.

While he did that there were still too many walkers heading their way. Moo had to resort to kicking them in the knee but that even took up a bit of their time. He started to run into the horde before Violet tapped him pointing at a dead walker.

"What is it?" he asked confused on what she was talking about.

"We can use the guts to cover our scent through the horde to keep us from getting bit."

Moo blinked almost forgetting about that trick. It's been a while since he used it because of him always staying in town and when he did leave he barely came across a horde.

Either way, he still thought Violet was a genius.

He rushed over to the body kneeling down to it as Violet crept out of him arms kneeling beside him. Moo dug through his pockets praying that they didn't take away one of his pocket knives. He sighed in relief when found one proceeding to stab it through the chest cutting it all the way down to his stomach. He cringed in digust as he grabbed a handful of guts rubbing it on him while Violet began to do the same.

"Here, I'll get each others' back," she said going to his back.

Before he could stop her it was already too for him to stop her from seeing what he never wanted to see.

Her face went pale when she stared at the old gashes, bruises, and large welts that covered his whole bare back.

He felt her staring at it sighing knowing she would get like this.

"It's alright, Vi," he tried to reassure her, "those were from a long time ago."

She frowned as tears started to run down her cheek, "It's worse every time. This is why you always faced me, isn't it?"

"Vi . . ."

"You should've done worse to me," her voice cracked up, "that wasn't even close to pain you suffered without me."

"Don't say that, I should've never treated you like that."

"But I deserve it, but you never did."

He touched her hand rubbing it gently, "No you don't, just try not to look at it too much and focus on getting out of here, alright?"

She sighed raggedly shutting her eyes before answering.

"Mhm," she murmured hesitantly.

He turned his head around placing a kiss on her lips, "Good girl."

She gently rubbed the guts on his back trying not to irritate the wounds before she turned around letting Moo get her back next.

Once he was done he went to pick her up almost gagging at smell of rotting guts all over them.

"Shit, when we get back we'll need to take a long ass shower," Moo pointed out trying not to inhale the stench.

Violet looked up at him smiling sheepishly, "As long as we're helping each other."

He giggled childishly, "Absolutely, sunshine."

Afterwards, they continued to follow Dixon, or wherever they assumed he went which was to the gates. They watched the walkers pass right through them as if they weren't there but Violet's stomach still turned being this close to walkers.

As they slowly walked through the horde Moo gasped ecstatically when he saw what was through the opening presented to them.

The broken gates leading the way out.

He looked down at Violet who wore the same expression only her smile was filled more with life and hope.

"This is it," she breathed as Moo chuckled softly.

"Soon we can start our new life together."

As Moo started to move closer to the gates he felt a large backhand smack him across the face making him tumble down on the cold, dirt ground. When Violet fell out of his arms she noticed that Moo was looking down to the ground holding the back of his throbbing head and was able to see the perpetrator who was behind the hard blow.

It was Miguel, fiery hot like a raging bull.

She noticed he covered in walker bites shaking uncontrollably like he just got out of pool that was freezing cold. His mouth drooled with blood and foam bubbling in from the corners and his eyes had a wild, crazed look that were almost all the way blood red.

Her eyes went round when he held a gun not towards her but over Moo's head his fingers inches away from the trigger.

"You little bastard," he hissed kicking Moo to the side to make him face him, "you run away from an offer of your life time and disobey your father."

"You were never my father," Moo growled back spitting out blood, "just a damn nightmare that just won't go away."

He narrowed his eyes at him, "You're worse than Cobra, now I see that you're less like me than I thought, and that scares me."

"We are nothing alike!"

"Keep dening it, you hurt people for your pleasure, you would hurt your little girlfriend to satisfy your twisted sexual fantasies."

Moo glared daggers at the man, "I never wanted to hurt her, you're the one who gets off to sick shit."

"But I'm not the one who fucked her so hard to where she can't even walk."

Moo felt the oxygen sucked out of him in a flash as the guilt continued to eat away at him. His words were toxic that burned into the teen, he was nothing like him, he kept tellingj himself, but each time he did another side doubted his words.

"You don't love her," he snickered maliciously, "you love on what you can get out of her. Believe me, I've seen this first hand with my own parents."

Moo's breaths heightened knowing that for sure was a complete and utter lie.

He knew he loved Violet, he loved her through and through, even when they were kids he loved her then.

He never stopped loving her.

Miguel started pacing around Moo the gun still pointed at him, "Ever since I was younger I seen things child shouldn't see, he even killed people in front of me. But the worst thing was him hurting my mother and my little sister and brother," he squeezed his eyes shut, "that man would beat my mother daily, fuck her until she couldn't move, and cheated on her every. Single. Fucking. Day. And through all that she still loved him just like that sweetheart still loves you," he nodded towards Violet who was frozen in fear.

"And, one day, my father got tired of her while she tried to make things work. She begged and begged for him to be a better husband and father, but Sergio wasn't known to be the most patient of people.

"I was in the living room when all of the shit went down. So yelling, threats, and my mother apologizing that she ever met him; that did it. He pulled out a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed her. I still remember her screams telling Sergio to not hurt us until . . . she was gone."

Moo saw a few tears running down her cheek but quickly wiped them away giving Moo a murderous glare.

"He never kept her word. My sister, my only sister, she had lots of problems but was the most brightest person in the house. My brother, second to oldest, never liked our father's ways and would always defend me when he was being too hard me. Those two were the most charitable people I had in that house.

"Then, one night, she took my sister outside on the patio, I didn't know why, but I knew it wasn't anything good since she screamed at him telling him to stop along with my brother telling him to let go of her. Then out of know where two bullets were shot and their screams ceased, I went to find them both dead with my father looking down at their bodies like they were nothing.

"You're the spitting image on what my father was like," he hissed with venom in his time, "and if you leave with her she gonna end up like my mother."

"No!!" he yelled out as Violet was on the verge of tears, "that'll never happen! I love her, I love her so much, she's my everything!"

"Then prove it by going back to that room, be an obedient son, and stay out, or I shoot you, leave you for walker food, and take your girlfriend with me."

Moo shook his head, "You wouldn't dare, if you kill me you'll have nothing left."

"I'll find a way," he then kneeled down to his level their noses nearly touching giving him a malevolent smile, "even if that means fucking her myself."

This was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Without thinking Moo lunged at Miguel his hands on his neck, but Miguel was nothing like Damien.

Miguel pushed Moo back with brute force but it didn't stop Moo from fighting back. Miguel held the to Moo's chest before Moo ended up slapping it out of his hand. He roared in fury tackling Moo down with all his strength and body weight punching and clawing at the teen's face as the teen tried his best to get him off of him.

"I should've let Victoria abort your ass!!" he snarled causing Moo to roar back.

Violet looked around frantically for something to get Miguel off of him. Her eyes were set on a knife that slipped from Miguel's pocket and just lying on the ground.

Miguel grabbed Moo's neck with his hands coiled around it like a deadly snake's as Moo struggled to get the man off of him losing his breaths shortening every minute.

"Your girlfriend and baby are mine," he laughed manically.

Before Miguel could choke him any further he was tackled violently to the ground knocking him off of him. As Moo held his chest gasping desperately for air Miguel turned his attention to the person who dared to touch him.

He chuckled to himself when he saw Violet struggling to get up beside him grunting at the pain in her body unsteadily tried to keep her balance pointing the knife at him.

"Aw, this is cute," he cooed sarcastically getting up, "you're gonna fight me when you barely stand on your own two feet," he slowly walked up to her mockingly pacing around her as her legs shook struggling to keep her up, "I don't even need a weapon, pathetic."

She wasted no time to sloppily swing at him as he just dodged with eased laughing at her.

"C'mon, sweetheart, you can do better than that," mocked still dodging her swings.

As she swung at him she ended up falling on her back with Miguel kneeling down to her level with a malicious smirk.

"Just face it," he sighed apathetically, "you're never gonna win this battle, so why don't just submit to me already?"

She narrowed eyes into angry slits gritting her teeth slowly raising the knife, "I'd rather burn into the deepest pits of fucking hell than be with you."

In a flash, she took the knife to his cheek digging as deeply as he could to the inside of his mouth as yelled out in agony. He back away with the knife still on the side of his face before pulling it out clutching the large wound. Violet then kicked his face breaking his nose in the process making him fall back knocking the knife out of his hands. She quickly crawled over to him hopping on top his chest so that he couldn't breathe tightly grasping his neck.

"Time for this shit to end," she snarled.

At the corner of his eyes he saw the bloody knife beginning to reach while she was still distracted

Then, when it was finally in his reach he the knife and stabbed her right on the right side of her back. She cried out in pain and froze in shock as blood quickly began to flow out when he pulled out.

He tossed her aside with ease and chuckled as she started to faze out of reality.

"NO!!!" Moo's voice cried out rushing to Violet.

Miguel rose up walking up towards with an ice cold look.

"Now look what you did, Matéo," he tsked, "if you would've obeyed me no one would've gotten hurt."

He held Violet close to him as tears streamed heavily down his cheeks blowing harsh breaths through his gritted teeth. He looked up at Miguel glaring heavily at Miguel with his nostrils flared and eyes in flames.

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!" he roared out instantly grabbing the gun that rested beside him.

When pulled the trigger he shot Miguel multiple times in the chest as blood and inards flew out. As anger blinded him Moo ended up using the whole clip on Miguel and even attempting to shoot him after there were no bullets left.

Miguel stumbled back with a waterfall full of blood spilled from his mouth. He fell to his knees then fell on his back coughing up blood. Moo marched up to him, still hot, raising his foot to his face ready to finish him but stopped when he saw him look up at Moo teary eyed starting to speak.

"Th-this . . . this is it . . ends . . ." his coughing distorting his speech, "I . . . I've done . . . so much fucked s-shit in my . . . life."

"You have," Moo said coldly.

"Most . . . I deeply regret . . . your mother and siblings deserve . . . someone better . . . especially your mother . . ."

Moo backed away as the walkers moved closer towards the two reaching out for Moo and some crawling towards Miguel.

"I'm goin' away," he hacked up more blood, " . . . but you'll . . . you'll never forget . . . me . . . "

He coughed more heavily until he drew his last breath and shedded one last tear until . . . he finally went limp, his eyes partly open but no sign of life left in them.

Miguel was finally gone.

Moo backed away from his body letting the walkers have their meal.

He ran over to Violet who was barely hanging on while the blood from the wound stained her light gray tank top. His lips trembled pressing his forehead against hers when she saw her eyes drifting the same way Miguel's was.

"No, no, no," he pressed the wound with his free hand trying to stop the bleeding, "please don't do this me, I can't be alone, I can't! Please, sunshine, I love you so much!"

But Violet didn't answer.

Her breaths were heavy hearing the muffled voice of Moo pleasing for her to wake up. But her eyes gently closed her body remaing still in Moo arms.

Moo shook her virgously trying to wake her but there was nothing.

"VIOLET!!!"
