Disclaimer: I do not own warriors qwq. Also this is my first story so it won't be that good (sorry TwT)

A black molly woke beside a sapphire blue lake, reflecting the shimmering stars in the night sky. The molly padded slowly towards the lake, in awe of it's beauty, when she stopped. Something wasn't right. She became confused as to where she was, the last thing she remembered was the battle with the Dark Forest. She shuddered as the shrieks and battle cries were still echoing in her mind. She pushed the thought of the battle away and instead thought about where she was. She moved closer to the lake in interest and dipped her paw in the freezing water. The molly watched as ripples formed in the water, only to be met with confusion. She noticed how the stars moved closer to her paws with each ripple. Suddenly, the stars started to float towards her. The molly didn't back away in fear, she only watched, her eyes as wide as a kit who saw their clan camp for the first time. "It's very interesting, isn't it?" The new voice murmured, in a calm matter. The gorgeous black molly turned to face a sleek, dark grey tom, his golden eyes glimmering in the moonlight. She recognised the tom and she felt relief wash over her.

"Greetings, Grey Wing" The molly mewed, dipping her head in respect. "Am I in Starclan?" The tom nodded. The molly peered at the tall, green trees behind him. "Is Larkwing with you?" The molly asked, curiosity flickering in her gaze.

"I'm afraid not" Grey Wing began, sadness clouding his golden eyes. "She was killed by Dark Forest warriors many moons ago"

The molly fell silent, she lowered her head in respect for the fallen Starclan warrior, sighed and sat with her tail on her paws while bringing her gaze back to Grey Wing.

"But we must look forward into the future" Grey Wing began once more after a moment of silence. "Are you ready to be the next Judge of Starclan?" Grey Wing asked. The molly nodded. "Very well" Grey Wing smiled as he closed his eyes, focusing on something the molly couldn't understand. Suddenly, Grey Wing's pelt lit up with stars, with much more stars than a regular Starclan cat, his pelt was as bright as the stars in the sky. You couldn't even tell what the original colour of his pelt was!

"I, Grey Wing, Judge of Starclan, call upon my fellow warrior ancestors to look up to this soul. She has trained hard to understand the paths of the stars, and I present her to you as the new Judge of Starclan" He focused his gaze on the molly, staring deep into her eyes "Do you promise to uphold the path of the stars, to guide others onto the correct path and to protect Starclan from the Place of No Stars, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do" The molly breathed, quivering.

"Then by the power of the stars" Grey Wing continued "From this moment you will known as 'Solstice' in your starry form. May you serve the clans below for many moons to come" Grey Wing took a step closer to Solstice, resting his muzzle on her head, she then rested her muzzle on Grey Wing's shoulder. He took a step back and amusement flooded his gaze. Solstice's beautiful, emerald green eyes were glistening with pride and happiness in the dark. When suddenly I question entered her mind. I wonder...

"Grey Wing?" She began "Can I keep my warrior name?"

He licked her ear, fatherly love clearly showing from his eyes. "When your pelt is not as bright as the stars in the sky, you will be referred as your warrior name" As he finished the starry glow from his pelt slowly faded and he let out a mrrrow of amusement as he saw Solstice's eyes light up with amazement. "Don't worry, I'll teach you everything you need to know. Then, you'll be the wisest cat in Starclan"

Solstice felt pride surging through her fur when a pang of sadness tore at her fur. How long will it take until I'm used to the idea of being dead? A memory briefly flashed in her mind. What about my littermates? My mother? My father?
