Interesting Chapter ahead. Lets dive in.

Segment 16 - Maybe Tomorrow

Buttercup opened the door to reveal Brick, who was holding a single rose in his hand. "Should've brought a bouquet. But if i'm being honest, I don't think you should be here. She's resting" Buttercup said before allowing Brick inside "When you get up there…mind your step. Middle door." Buttercup instructed and Brick nodded "Thanks Buttercup." he said as he made his way upstairs and towards Blossom's door.

Blossom was laying in bed, she rolled onto her left side and turned on her radio. She rolled back onto her back and looked at her hand, the nasty gash that had formed as a result of her breaking the bottle. The drinks she had previously drank had finally started to settle as she closed her eyes

"I've been down and I'm wondering why, these little black clouds Keep walking around with me….with me"

Blossom listened to the song, and her eyes opened when she heard a knock at her door. she slowly sat up and watched the door open to reveal Brick. Blossom laid back down as Brick walked into the room, slowly closing the door and looking around at the sight. He minded his step as he walked around the broken glass, the blood, and the vomit.

"Blossom?"

Brick sat at the foot of the bed after placing the rose on the dresser. Blossom sat up and stared at Brick. "Top drawer." Blossom gestured to her dresser, Brick got up and walked over to the dresser. Opening the drawer he looked at Blossom "First one." Blossom instructed and Brick grabbed what the "First one" was: an edible. Brick sighed as he handed it to Blossom.

"It wastes time and I'd rather be high think I'll walk me outside and buy a rainbow smile But be free…they're all free"

The song played as Brick watched Blossom eat the edible. "I'm not him." Brick spoke and Blossom sighed "I know you aren't….But he's all I see." Blossom admitted. She took a deep breath and Brick knew what was coming "I…don't think I can date you right now…." Blossom spoke and Brick nodded. The pair sat in silence for a moment.

"So maybe tomorrow…. i'll find my way home"

Brick kissed Blossom's forehead. Blossom looked down.

"So maybe tomorrow….i'll find my way home"

Brick stood up. "When you're ready Bloss, I'll be right here. I'll never stop waiting for you…" Brick spoke and Blossom looked at him "Why?" She asked "Cause I love you." Brick spoke and he left before Blossom had a chance to respond.

Brick returned to the lakehouse. "We gotta leave town for a bit." he spoke and Butch threw his arms up "But we just got back to Townsville brother!" he said "And now we gotta leave again." Brick spoke and Butch groaned "It took forever to unpack. This about Blossom?" he asked and Brick looked at him "Something like that." he explained going into his room. "Get your stuff together, be ready in an hour." Brick said closing the door.

"What, What…..wow…" Boomer spoke as he got up "Man this sucks." Butch got up "He starts fucking Blossom and it all went fucking bad." Butch continued and he tossed the remote on the couch before walking up the stairs "Fuck this shit." He said to himself as he and Boomer made way upstairs.

A few hours later Blossom arrived at the ruff's home and noticed it was completely dark. She climbed into the window and saw, the Rowdyruff Boys had completely packed up. They didn't even say goodbye. Blossom couldn't help but feel that she had a hand in the boys leaving town once again. She sat on the floor and sighed. She let something good slip through her fingers.

She called Brick, and she heard his phone going off. Blossom walked into Brick's mostly empty room, aside from the dresser and bed, Blossom noticed Brick left his phone. She called Butch and realized he left his phone too. Lastly Blossom walked into Boomer's room and saw his phone was behind too. Wherever the Boys went, they clearly didn't want to be found. Blossom returned downstairs and walked into Brick's room. She picked up the phone and sighed. After a moment, she put the phone down and exited the lakehouse. Blossom went to the backyard and sat at the lake. Looking out at the large body of water, she took in its sight, which was glistening from the moonlight. Blossom reached into her pocket and pulled out the necklace. She stared at it for what seemed to be a fairly lengthy period before putting it on. "And you're always in mine."

No this isn't the ending obviously. The boys will obviously be back. And for readers of the previous story. You know where we are headed now.
