Fate 6: Hunt 2 (The Kill Game)
Chapter 6: Level 5
Three lives are given to the 7 men and woman...if all lives are lost, their souls will be forever lost in the dark abyss below... they are being hunted by a disfigured super man. A red jewel is at the top of the mountain, whoever reaches it first will become the winner and receive a prize and return home. The contestants cannot kill each other but they can fight, because in the forest lies treasure chests. Each chest contains an extra life, one that will make you gain one life. Traps are around the forest as well. What happens to losers who don't get to the jewel? Nobody knows...
Reset after death: 1 hour.
Super Monster Man: 2 hours.
A buzzer goes off.
"LEVEL 5 has begun! Repeat! LEVEL 5 has begun!" Said a robotic voice.
Pipimi And Popuko giggle and set up a bomb at the nearest resting cabin, or checkpoint. The group will begin here….
Seryu has revived as well as the others. Popuko gives Seryu the detonator. This can't end well…Margot and Falcom both found life potions and drink them, before being transported to the checkpoint.
The group are about to eat meal at a large table. Fio is back and is cooking for the group. "Hey! Dio! Hurry up! I'm starving!" Haruko complains.
"It's Fio!" Fio corrected the Vespa woman.
"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever Leo! Just get that food ready!" Hakua also complains.
"Patience. The food will be ready soon." Kokua told him. Seungah looks at him aaaaaannnnndddd gets another nose bleed…
Seryu is outside and has a detonator in hand…Coro is with her too. "All of you will die…." Seryu chuckles.
The group wait for the food…and it's cooking slow too. Haruko gets up and goes to the kitchen to check on it. "Hey! Mio! Hurry the hell up will ya!?"
"How many times do I have to say it!? My name is Fio! Fio Atkins! Not Leo! Not Mio! NOT DIO!" Fio yells and is getting pissed off! Fio's vein started to bulged and she growls in anger. Fio then knocks out Haruko with a hit to the head! Fio scoffs and gets back to cooking.
"Alright, Coro it's time~" Seryu tells her imperial arms.
"Woof!" He barks.
"Once I press this button? That checkpoint will be completely destroyed! Bodies everywhere! All of them lose a life and then I will reach the mountains and retrieve that gem! I will be declared the winner! I can see it now…" Seryu daydreams and sees the explosion, everyone inside is dead and Seryu laughs maniacally. "Let's do this."
Seryu presses the button on her detonator….nothing. "Eh?" Seryu presses it more…until it starts glowing. "What the?" BOOM! Seryu's hand is exploded right off! Seryu screams in pain and falls to her knee. Tsubame comes out and puts bullets into Coro with two handguns. She then goes to Seryu and kicks her in the face!
Seryu Ubiquitous groans and crawls away. "Serves you right. You deserve it with what you've done. Cheaters never win." Tsubame tells her and pops her knuckles.
"Go to hell!" Seryu yells at her. Tsubame punches Seryu in the face, over and over again. Seryu's face is bruised and bloody. Tsubame keeps punching Seryu, beating her to death. Tsubame dusts her hands off and walks off. Turns out the bombs were disabled by Fio herself…
Fio finally finished cooking and served everyone, minus Haruko of course, who is still knocked out. "Enjoy…."
They all thank Fio, "Thank you for the meal, Fio!"
"Finally…" Fio sighs happily.
"Dio is funnier…" Hakua says. Fio knocks him out and he falls out of his chair.
"Fio is P.O" Says Margot.
"My name is Fio!….oh wait. I get it." Fio laughs and the others laugh as well.
After finishing the meal, the group are outside and they begin heading to the mountains. Level 5 has begun….
Seryu is back, she stays behind with Coro. "Tsubame….you bitch! Next time I see her, she'll be your lunch!"
"Woof woof!" Coro barks in agreement. Just then….a golden potion poofs out of thin air next to Seryu, with a hand written note.
"Huh? What's this?" Seryu picks up the note and potion. She reads the note.
"Drink this potion, and you will be give invincibility. But do not abuse your power, or drastic consequences will be made."
"Woof?" Coro tilts his head.
"Interesting. Well, here goes nothing." Seryu opens it up and chugs it down. She throws the empty bottle to the ground and it shatters. Seryu feels…invincible! She starts running at fast speeds and soon spots Akari by herself. Akane went to go look for a chest. Akari waits for him as she gets water from a pond.
Seryu sneaks up behind her…Seryu goes to shove her into the pond and drown her, but Akari moves out the way. Seryu goes to punch Akari. The ninja ducks and flips Seryu and kicks her in the chest. Seryu goes down. Seryu gets back up, only to meet a kunai strike to her face by the ninja girl!
Seryu touched her cheek and then…the wound closes and instantly heals. "What?" Akari strikes Seryu again! The wound heals up! Akari strikes Seryu over and over and her wounds heal up.
"Hahahaha….HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Seryu cackles and she grabs Seryu and throws her into a shed through the window! Akari has cuts on her body from the broken glass. Seryu gets inside and knees Akari in the gut and punches her in the face, then she slams her into the shed wall.
Seryu looks over a table full of tools. She gets a drill and has a crazy look in her eyes. Akari crawls away and slowly gets back up as Seryu walks towards her.
Seryu grabs Akari and uses the power drill, she attempts to drill through Akari's right eye! Akari panics and quickly blocks it, with her hand! Akari groans in pain as Seryu drills a hole in her left palm. Seryu tosses the drill away and kicks Akari in the face. Seryu pants and gets steel chain and wraps it around Akari's throat and pulls. She pulls a few times and stops. She kicks Akari onto her back as the ninja girl gasps for air.
"You….cheater." Akari gasps out.
"Cheater? Oh no no no no no NO!" Seryu flips the table over with all the shed tools on it. Seryu gets an ice pick and climbs on top of Akari, holding her bruised and busted open lipped face. "I. WILL. WIN!" Seryu stabs Akari in the shoulder and pins her down. Seryu then gets a chainsaw and turns it on. Just before Seryu could kill Akari, Akane enters in with a motorcycle. He jumps off and the cycle crashes into Seryu and into the wall of the shed, breaking through and exploding!
"Akane…." Akari moans in pain. Akane goes to Akari and gets her free and helps her up.
"It's ok. I got you." He said to her.
"You fools!" Seryu is up and is not hurt at all! But she is on fire! A little bit. She starts walking towards Akane and Akari, still holding the chainsaw. She turns it on and walks towards the two. "I'll end you here and now! I will win you hear me!" Seryu raises her arms up ready to chainsaw the two in half! But then her left foot turns to….gold? "Eh?" Seryu tries to move and her right foot also turns to gold.
"What's happening to her?" Akane asked Akari, both watching Seryu. Seryu screams in anger and then her
hands turn to gold too.
"NO! I'M SUPPOSE TO KILL YOU!" Seryu cries out and then her legs and arms turn to gold, until only her head remained, the chainsaw also turns to gold. "CORO! WHERE ARE YOU!? HELP ME YOU DUMB DOG!" Seryu yells out for him, her chin and eyes start turning. "No….I can't end like this….Coro you stupid piece of-" Seryu completely turns…..Akane and Akari are shocked. After a minute, Seryu begins to melt into a pool of golden liquid and dissolves into the ground. She has 2 lives now.
After that? Akane takes Akari to the checkpoint cabin to treat her wounds.
Asahi comes across three small chests and opens them up. Two are empty. One has a black potion…."What the hell is this?" Asahi asked himself and then looks around. Asahi opens the potion up and smells it. It smells like berries. Asahi hears rustling in the bushes near him. He decides to close the potion in place it in his carrier bag. Asahi runs off. But he runs into the Vespa girl.
The black potion goes rolling off to a nearby tree. "Watch it kid." Haruko told him.
Asahi crawls to the black potion. "Hey? What's that potion?"
"None of your damn business. I found it first." Asahi says and Haruko goes for it, grabbing it. Haruko and Asahi are now in a tug of war.
"I bet it holds secret powers to win this thing! Give it to me!" Haruko yells, pulling.
"Get away! It's mine!" Asahi yells back and the two fall as the potion goes into the air. Haruko catches it and kicks Asahi down.
"All mine." Haruko sneers. Haruko opens it up and gulps down the potion! "Divine powers, come to mama!" Haruko yells out and….nothing is happening. "What gives? Where's my powers?"
"Maybe it was just water and food coloring?" Asahi says.
"Shut up!" Haruko told him and grumbles in displeasure. "Whatever! I'm out of here!" Haruko leaves and goes to find another chest.
Asahi sighs and bumps into the monster man. The monster man grabs Asahi by the throat and lifts him up. Before the monster can kill Asahi, Tsubame appears and shoots the monster in the leg! The monster groans and drops Asahi who coughs and gets air. Tsubame reloads her shotgun and guess the monster again, and again and again. He still standing! He roars and charges Tsubame.
"Goodbye fuckface…" Tsubame says and shoots the monster in the face, killing him. He goes down. Asahi thanks Tsubame. Popuko comes out of the trees and sticks a syringe into Asahi! Tsubame pushes Asahi down and shoots Popuko in the face, killing her as well.
"What the hell did she do!?" Asahi asks and sits up.
Tsubame sees the needle and quickly goes to Asahi, helping him up. Asahi starts puking black liquid and falls over. "Shit!" Tsubame gets Asahi to lay by a tree and removes his back. Asahi has been poisoned. Asahi screams as his body to burn and pukes more black goo. "You've been poisoned! I'll take you to the nearest cabin!"
"No…..just leave me….to die." Asahi croaks.
"You can still keep fighting! You have to do this, for your family." Tsubame tells him and drags him.
"I've done enough Tsubame…." Asahi says and Tsubame drops him. "Just kill me. End my suffering…" Asahi says.
Tsubame gets her shotgun and reloads it and aims at Asahi. "I understand…there's no helping you. I'm sorry." Tsubame says and puts her finger on the trigger.
Asahi starts crying…"I'm sorry Shoko, Shio and Lady Tohka…I've tried." Asahi says and tears flow down his face. "Forgive me…"
Tsubame closes her eyes and fires. BANG!
Back with Haruko…
She finds another black potion and gulps it down. "Where are my powers!?" Haruko gets angry and kicks the chest.
"You've drank poison…" Says Jinyu, who walks up to Haruko.
"Oh really? How do you know that?" Haruko rolls her eyes.
"Trust me. You've doomed yourself." Jinyu tells her.
Haruko looks at her hands and then back at Jinyu. "Oh shut up Jinyu! Tell me where I can get these powers! Or I'll send you into space!" Haruko gets her guitar out to do battle.
"You really want to fight again like old times sake?" Jinyu takes her katana out. "I'm not the same as before. You can't win." Jinyu tells her.
Haruko growls and then coughs up the black goo. "….shit." Haruko says and charges Jinyu. The two clash. Haruko manages to knock Jinyu's sword out of her hands and get stuck in a tree. Haruko goes for a swing with her guitar, but Jinyu blocks it with her shotgun. She then smacks her in the face with it. Jinyu aims her gun at Haruko.
"GHUGHH!" Haruko vomits black blood and she groans, and stumbles away from Jinyu. Haruko comes across another chest. She opens it up and finds ANOTHER black potion!
"Don't do it!" Jinyu told her. Haruko groans and drinks it… she gags and vomits again. Her nose, her mouth, her ears and eyes start leaking the black poison. The poison enter bloodstream and going to her heart.
"GHHHHAKGHL!" Haruko croaks and falls to her knees, her two lives turning to one. 1 black bar on her wrist.
"I have to do it. Put you out of your misery." Jinyu says and aims at Haruko's head.
"Screw….you." Haruko says weakly.
BANG! Haruko gets shot in the face and is now dead and gone. Her body soon sinks into the ground and dissolves. Jinyu sighs and gets her sword back and heads out.
Akari's wounds have been bandaged up by Akane and Fio. Fio vanished in light after helping. Akari is laying in a bed in the cabin where Akane took her.
"Thank you, Akane." Akari said to him softly.
"Get some rest alright?" Akane told her and pets her head. Akane slowly leans down to kiss Akari. He captures her lips with his own and the two slowly make out for a few seconds. Akane pulls away and Akari blushes. She turns her head away and whispers to herself. "What would Kazuki think?"
Nodoka is with Seungah and they see the mountain up ahead. A body suddenly drops from a nearby tree, wrapped in razor sharp wires, blood and cuts all over them.
"OH SHIT!" Nodoka jumps in fright.
"It's…Kiyota." Seungah said. It was him. He accidentally triggered a trap when he climbed a tree.
"Poor guy….wonder how long he's been here?" Nodoka says and takes a deep breath and relaxes.
"Come on. Let's keep moving. Another checkpoint is around here somewhere." Seungah told her. Not too far from them are Hakua and Kokua. Kokua just finished killing Pipimi with his bare hands.
"May the gods have mercy on your soul…" Kokua said to the dead Pipimi. Hakua opens the chest she was guarding and finds a dark red potion…
"Wonder what this could be…Hmph." Hakua takes it and does not drink it. He decides to ask Liver about it at the next checkpoint…
Down to 11 contestants…just three more checkpoints to go and they will be at the mountain….what will wait for them there? And how much harder will the next levels be?
