Fate 6: Hunt 2 (The Kill Game)
Chapter 9: Level 7! The Final Level!
Three lives are given to the 7 men and woman...if all lives are lost, their souls will be forever lost in the dark abyss below... they are being hunted by a disfigured super man. A red jewel is at the top of the mountain, whoever reaches it first will become the winner and receive a prize and return home. The contestants cannot kill each other but they can fight, because in the forest lies treasure chests. Each chest contains an extra life, one that will make you gain one life. Traps are around the forest as well. What happens to losers who don't get to the jewel? Nobody knows...
Reset after death: 1 hour.
Super Monster Man: 2 hours.
The monster man stares Seungah down. "Nodoka, run as fast you can! I'll hold this monster off!"
Nodoka nods and runs with a limp because of her injury. She runs past the monster. Seungah Park pops her knuckles and charges the monster head on. He roars and charges back!
As Nodoka makes her way to the mountain, a buzzer goes off. "LEVEL. SEVEN. WILL. BEGIN. NOW! YOU HAVE 30 MINUTES TO MAKE IT TO THE MOUNTAIN BASE!" Said a robotic voice. The ground began to shake for a few seconds.
"Oh no." Nodoka gulps and keeps going. Akari and Akane get their clothes back on and they too head to the mountains. Seryu comes out and tackles Akari down and cuts her face. Akane pulls Seryu off of Akari and helps up.
Kiyota and Keiichi are surrounded by Popuko and Pipimi. Falcom joins Seungah and helps her fight off the monster. Kokua heads to the mountains as does Nodoka.
"You won't make it to the mountain!" Seryu yells at the two. She screams and attacks Akari, the two clash; knife and kunai respectively. The ground shook again.
"We have no time to fight right now! Come on!" Akane says and runs off. Akari knees Seryu and lands a kick to her face. Seryu goes down to the ground. Akari then follows Akane. "Grrrr…get back here!" Seryu chases after them.
"5 MINUTES!" The robot voice said and the ground begins to shake again and crack. Everyone starts heading to the mountain. Akari spots a treehouse and a very long bridge connecting to the mountain. Akari gets into the trees and gets to the treehouse. She meets Kokua there. Nodoka slowly climbs the tree. Falcom is also climbing it. Kiyota and Keiichi are running as fast as they could. Popuko and Popimi chase them and tackle them down.
"You won't make it!" Popuko yells and then gets shot by Tsubame. Pipimi gets a stabbed by Jinyu and the two are dead. Jinyu and Tsubame help Keiichi and Kiyota up. They get to the tree and begin climbing. Seungah makes it to the tree and climbs as well.
Akari and Kokua are already crossing the bridge. They are very high up. The ground shook again as it begins to crumble!
Akari and Kokua make it to the mountain first. "Come on! Hurry!" Akari calls out to the others.
"2 Minutes left!" Jinyu checks her watch. Soon the ground starts to crack more and fall. This unfortunately causes Keiichi to lose his footing climbing the tree and he falls. Seungah cannot reach him to grab his hand. Keiichi lands on his back. The ground shook again and Keiichi falls to the darkness below as the ground gave way.
"KEIICHI!" Tsubame cried out. Kiyota and Seungah with Falcom get to the mountain. Jinyu and Tsubame as well. Seryu grabs Akane and tries to throw him over. Akane elbows Seryu in the face and gets to the mountain. They all go inside, except for Akari.
The treehouse connecting the bridge begins to fall to the abyss. The bridge soon collapses. Seryu makes a huge jump and grabs onto the edge of the mountain! She can barely hold on!
"Akari! Help me!" Seryu begged her to. Akari glares at her, holding her kunai. Seryu cannot pull herself up and slips a little bit. Akari just stares at Seryu.
"You know what they say, right? Cheaters…never….WIN!" Akari yells and then stabs Seryu in right hand! Seryu moves it and now only has one hand on the edge of the mountain. Seryu groans in pain. "And you know what else? Karma's a bitch." Akari pulls another kunai out and stabs Seryu in her left eye! Seryu screams in pain and then falls! Seryu screams on her way down to the darkness below. Thunder crashing down there. Akari sighs and goes into the mountain cave with the others.
"Look, the gem." Nodoka says and a red floating gem is floating in thin air. Everyone goes to it. The gem was big too. Everyone decides to touch it. After that, a flash a light engulfs then all and they are transported to a new location. An abandoned mansion….
Nodoka looks around and then looks at her wrist. One life. Everyone has one life now. A figure approaches them from the stairs. The figure has a red cloak on them and a mask covering half their face. "Welcome contestants!" She announces. "Congratulations on making it this far!" She says and claps.
The contestants get ready to fight. Nodoka aims her arrow at the woman. "You're the one behind all of this." Nodoka said and glares at the woman.
Popuko and Pipimi appear on either side of the evil woman.
"Yes. Yes I am. This is the final stage! Only one of you will come out as victorious! And claim your prize!"
"I've had enough of this!" Falcom yells and charges the woman with her dragon slayer sword.
"Falcom, no!" Akari tried to stop her. Falcom leaps and strikes down. The woman fires a cloud of dark fog into Falcom. Falcom falls and gags and has convulsions. Falcom slowly dies and her eyes fade away. Akari clenches her fist and takes a deep breath. "LAAAAAAAA LAAAAAALAAA!" She uses her deadly voice at the masked woman. She blocks with a magical shield, protecting Pipimi and Popuko as well. Akari stops and pants a little.
"You can't fight me…" The woman says and she vanished in red light. Popuko and Pipimi run off and play a little of hide and seek. Whoever kills them will gain one life. Nodoka groans and goes after popuko, Akari and Akane go after Pipimi. Kiyota enters a room and looks around it. Kokua goes to Falcom's dead body and closes her eyes.
"May you rest…" He said and looks at Seungah. The two decide to track down the master behind the game…
Nodoka enters a room full of old furniture and dust. Nodoka looks around as Popuko opens up the closet door. Popuko then grabs Nodoka and wraps a cloth around her neck and begins to choke her! Nodoka backs into a wall and gets her hunting knife. She stabs Popuko in her thigh and then back headbutts her. Nodoka is free. Popuko groans and takes the knife out of her. Nodoka coughs and recovers from Popuko's attack. She turns to Popuko and the two glare at each other.
"Die!" Popuko yells and then she goes to cut Nodoka. She swings a few times with Nodoka avoiding them. She grabs Popuko's arm and pins her to a table. Nodoka gets her knife back only for Popuko to elbow Nodoka. Popuko breaks the leg of the table easily and hits Nodoka in the face. Nodoka goes down and her nose is broken. "It's game over for you!"
SLASH! Nodoka slashes Popuko across her neck!
"GEUHGH!" Popuko gags. She holds her bloody neck as blood leaks out of it. Popuko eyes go wide as she struggles to walk. She gurgles and tries to hit Nodoka with the table leg, she falls and dies. Nodoka gets back up and checks her wrists. 2 lives. Nodoka heads out of the room and leaves Popuko.
Akari and Akane have Pipimi cornered in another room.
Pipimi pulls out to knives and gets into fight with Akari. Akari uses her kunai against her. Akari slashes Pipimi in her arm. Pipimi groans and smacks Akari down. She stabs her in the back. Akane grabs Pipimi and picks her up. Pipimi fights out of Akane's grip and elbows him in the face. Akane stumbles over a table and old lamp. Akari gets to a dirty bed and gets back up. She kicks Pipimi in the gut and uppercuts her! Pipimi stumbles over as Akane uses the lamp's plug to strangle her. Pipimi drops her knives and struggles to free herself.
"Hold her there, Akane!" Akari said and channels a fire jutsu. Pipimi hits Akane where the sun don't shine. Pipimi gasps for air. Akari stops her channeling, she goes to Pipimi and punches her in the face a few times. Akari gets on top of her.
She gets her kunai and stabs Pipimi over and over again! Akari pants and gets off of the dead girl. Akari Hanao now has two lives like Nodoka Manabe. Akari helps Akane up and the two leave…only to be confronted by the game master. "Well done." She says and fires a dark blast at Akane! Akane goes flying into a wall and is not moving…."AKANE!" Akari called to him. The woman then grabs Akari and teleports away… Akane is dead.
Kiyota finds Nodoka. Nodoka tells him that she has killed Popuko and has gotten two lives. "Oh? I wonder if I can get another life?"
"I'm not sure. Let's go." Nodoka says and runs with Kiyota, only to get pushed away from a force. The game master appears again.
"Hello. You know? There is a way for multiple winners…but I'm afraid it's secret." She says.
"Who are you!? Reveal yourself!" Nodoka yells and aims her arrow at the woman.
"Very well, Nodoka." She said and removes her cloak and reveals her face. "My name is, Taiko Ooiso. You may call me: The Typhoon." Taiko smirks.
Nodoka fires the arrow! Typhoon has a magic barrier around her. She then lifts up Kiyota! Kiyota floats in the air and then gets sent down hard.
"I only need four individuals for the final challenge. And I came for you, Nodoka." Taiko licks her lips. Kiyota then gets a dark magic sword through him!
"KIYOTA!" Nodoka cried out to him and then she gets teleported….
Akari, Nodoka, Seungah and Kokua are the final 4. Can all of them win and escape this death game? And what is the final challenge?…and where are Jinyu and Tsubame?
The final four are in an open field with Typhoon watching from above. The area looks similar to a gladiator arena…what is this final challenge?
