Fate 6: Hunt 2 (The Kill Game)

Chapter 10: The Final Challenge!

Akari is down to one life again, after attempting to kill Taiko, The Typhoon. She attempted it right after she was teleported to the arena. Kokua, Seungah, Akari and Nodoka stand together and stare at Taiko Ooiso. She is sitting above, watching from the nosebleeds in her own throne. She claps twice and the monster man appears once again. This time, he's in all black and much more dangerous. "Defeat him and me. And you will become the champion of my game!" Typhoon says and leaps down into the arena. She removes her cloak and is wearing a combat outfit. The monster roars and has a giant axe for a weapon. Kokua steps up to Taiko.

"You'll be fighting me." Kokua says to her. She smirks.

"You must overcome some obstacles first…." Taiko says. The monster Man punches Kokua down. "Then you'll be facing me…" Taiko goes back to her chair to watch.

"Dammit…" Nodoka grunts.

"Let the final challenge…begin!" Taiko snaps her fingers and the final challenge is on! Gates open up and out comes a huge boar! It charges at Akari! Akari leaps over it and throws kunais at it. It's covered in steel armour to protect itself from attacks. Akari gets charged at and goes down and then trampled on. Akari rolls and rolls and grunts. The boar goes in circles and stalks Akari. Akari coughs as dirt gets in her eyes and mouth. Akari gets back to her feet.

Two more gates open, an orc with a club swings at Nodoka. Nodoka leaps over him and fires three arrows into his back. The orc groans and slams his club down. Nodoka rolls out of the way and fires another arrow, only for a smaller skinny orc to jump onto her back. Nodoka stumbles back and she gets him off of her. She then gets hit with the club. Nodoka crashes and groans in pain. The skinny orc laughs at her.

"Hmmmmm…" Taiko watches and eats grapes. A crowd of goblins are watching and they are wild. Seungah kicks the bigger orc in the face. He stumbles down hard.

Kokua punches the monster man and manages to take his huge axe and toss it away. Kokua gets a couple of hard hits. The monster man grabs Kokua and throws him to a stone wall. Kokua groans a bit, and then the monster man crashes into him. The wall begins to crack and form a crater. The monster gets his large axe and just before he could swing, Kokua roars and uppercuts him! The monster goes flying and crashes down hard.

Akari fires fireball after fireball at the boar. They do nothing to it and Akari's side gets pierced by the boar's extra long tusk. Akari groans loudly in pain and then gets lifted up and tossed over. "Akari!" Nodoka calked to her and the little orc charges at her. Nodoka gets her hunting knife and grabs his arm and stabs him in the stomach, then stabs him in the back, then kicks him into the wall.

"I have to…..win this." Akari holds her wound and lies there.

The boar turns to Nodoka and charges her. Nodoka gets her bow and arrows ready and aims at the boar. The arrow glows red and she fires it! "You're done for." Nodoka says.

The arrow hits the boar in the head, piercing his helmet…the boar squeals…and then the arrow explodes! The boar is dead and defeated. The crowd of goblins are in awe. Seungah gets a club blow to her back and she's knocked out. The big orc goes to Akari and grabs her by the throat.

Before the big orc can kill her? SLASH! His arm gets cut off in a flash! Jinyu. She has saved Akari. "Hmmm?" Taiko is stunned. A gun is aimed at her head. Tsubame. Taiko narrows her eyes at her.

"Thought you could get rid of us, did you?" Tsubame says. Taiko just chuckles. A minion of Taiko appears and kicks Tsubame into the arena. Tsubame lands on her feet and another gate opens and it's a huge wolf. The huge wolf snarls and charges Tsubame. Tsubame puts bullets in it easily and kills it.

Jinyu stabs the orc in the back and electrocutes it. "GROOOOAH!" It roars and shakes Jinyu away. Jinyu lands on her feet. The orc takes Jinyu's sword out and tosses it aside. Tsubame shoots it with her shotgun. She shoots it again. It just angers him. He slams his club down. Seungah grabs the club and protected Tsubame. "Go! I'll destroy his club!"

Akari gets up and uses her Izumo to heal herself and Nodoka. The two look as Jinyu, Tsubame and Seungah deal with the huge orc. The monster man throws Kokua and he is hurt. The monster roars. "I'll help Kokua!" Akari says and does shadow clone jutsu and two clones double kick the monster man. He staggers and Akari lands a fire punch. The monster groans and staggers more. Kokua gets up and Akari stands by his side.

Nodoka fires arrows at the big orc, with Jinyu kicking him and Seungah punching him. Tsubame shoots him.

"Never thought I'd fight alongside you, Kokua of Yatagarasu." Akari says to him.

"Likewise, Ninja Seeking Club member." Kokua says and gets into a fighting stance. The monster gets his axe and roars. The monster slams his axe down. Kokua grabs the blade and is Akari fires a fireball at the monster. He gets hit in the face. Kokua now has the axe. He slashes the monster twice. His chest has been cut open. Akari throws a kunai right into his head. The monster falls over…dead.

"So much for being stronger." Akari said and then looks up to view Taiko. She was not pleased.

"How annoying…" She says and stands up. The orc is defeated by Jinyu. She slashes his head off.

The Typhoon jumps down. Kokua goes to punch her, unfortunately, Taiko easily avoids it and grabs Kokua. "Big mistake." She says and then Kokua is gone…vanishing in a red light.

"KOKUA!" Seungah screamed.

"What did you do?" Jinyu asked and points her sword at Taiko.

"I sent him to his death." Taiko answered and then does a magic spell to revive the monster man. He sits up and roars. "Now let the REAL final challenge begin!"

Jinyu clashes with Taiko. Taiko using a magic shield to block Jinyu's attacks. Tsubame shoots the monster man, only to get knocked down. Akari and Nodoka fight together against the monster man. He takes down Akari and Nodoka easily.

Jinyu strikes and strikes, but she can't break through Taiko's magical shield. Taiko fires a dark blast that sends Jinyu away. Jinyu lands on her feet.

"You can't harm me!" Taiko yells and dark clouds form above Jinyu. Pink lightning sparks and bolts hit Jinyu! "You're dead!" More bolts hit Jinyu's body…

All this does is make Jinyu stronger. In a blink of an eye, Jinyu slashes and is now behind Taiko. The magical shield breaks and Taiko's right arm is slashed off! "GAJH! WHAT!?" Taiko gasps in shock. She couldn't believe it.

"Bold of you to hit me with lightning…" Jinyu said and turns around to face the woman. Taiko gets mad. She fires dark spells at Jinyu who just zips right past them and stabs Taiko in the chest. Taiko coughs blood up and then falls over once Jinyu pulls out.

All of a sudden, 7 red lights crash into the arena! The monster dissolves into thin air and the arena begins to crumble. "What's going on!?" Akari screams as the ground gives way. Everyone falls to the darkness below… the game is finished…but it seemed a bit TOO easy….

Akari awakes, on a bus. The bus then drops her home. Akari enters and the house is empty. "It's over…it's finally over." Akari then sees a wanted poster on her and her mother's flower shop window. She takes it and reads it. "7 women rob a bank…" Akari says. "I think I'm going to sit this one out." Akari says and goes to take a shower. She was tired of fighting and wants no business in those robbers.

Nodoka wakes up at her home, gasping and panting. She looks around. "I'm home? The game is over?" Nodoka gets out of bed and looks out the window to see the sun out and hears birds chirping. Nodoka sighs and gets breakfast and turns on the news. Nodoka eats toast as she watches tv. She then checks her right wrist and no live bars. "Jinyu killed the Typhoon…but…it seemed way too easy. Something feels off about it." Nodoka says as a news reporter reports on a bank robbery. 7 women stole a prized possession from a bank: a glowing red gem. Nodoka gasps. "A red gem….could it be? The same red gem I touched at the mountain?" Nodoka finishes eating. "Is the game not over?"

A wanted poster is then placed everywhere, with the 7 robbers and an award for finding and returning the stolen gem. Nodoka walks outside and takes a wanted poster and looks over it. Her cellphone then rings. Nodoka answers it.

"Hi, Nodoka-chan! It's Me, Yui! I was hoping we can hang out today?"

"Im sorry, Yui. I got work to do." Nodoka said.

"Awwww, ok. Well maybe next time, then! Have fun at work!" Yui hangs up. Nodoka walks while looking at the paper, she bumps into someone.

"Watch it!" Said the black haired girl. She walks off as Nodoka looks at her. Nodoka then looks at the poster again. "The suspects happen to use red light…." Nodoka reads more of the poster and gasps. She remembers seeing 7 lights appear AFTER Taiko was killed by Jinyu, who happened to get seriously injured falling, but somehow Nodoka, Akari and Seungah did not. Tsubame appears behind Nodoka. "So? It's not over…" Nodoka drops the wanted poster.

"Hey, Nodoka?" Nodoka turns to face Tsubame. "You ready to collect those bounties?"

Nodoka checks her wrist again and finds 3 lives once more. Tsubame also has them. Nodoka looks at Tsubame with a serious expression. "Let's end this game." She smirks.
