Hey everyone! I saw that some people actually started following this story and even left some lovely reviews. I was quite surprised that people would wait for the story to continue. I have more time now and am trying my best to continue the story, since I still think it turned out quite cute and we need more contributions to the Frobin fandom.
Regarding the reviews: Please note that I can only speak and understand German, English and a bit of Dutch. I appreciate your support anyways but I fear that I could misunderstand something if I have to use online tools for translations.
Thank you and enjoy the new chapter!
Franky was still startled by the old lady congratulating him on being a lucky man and handing him some flowers. He was holding them in his right hand while Robin and he where walking in the direction of the shrine they wanted to visit. Robin didn't seem to be bothered by what had happened in the town and led the way, clearly excited for their destination. Eventually Franky thought about tossing the flowers away but he thought that the flowers had something to do with Robin which was why he hesitated to do so. Suddenly she turned around, looked at the flowers and said: "You are still carrying them?"
Again, he realized that he put way too much thought into it and tried to play it cool all of a sudden: "Oh! Stupid hand, didn't let go of them. I really need to have a look at these limbs. I might be a superb builder but sometimes technology develops its own mind, right? HAHA!" Embarrassed by his own words he threw the flowers far away.
Robin followed their trajectory with a rather disappointed expression on her face.
"You are so vulgar.", Robin said and continued walking not looking at him again.
As if it had turned to Winter, Franky stood there like frozen. "DAMN IT!", he whispered angrily while stomping on the ground. After this, Robin hadn't turned around to check where Franky was. While she was walking, she thought about what had happened before. Her reaction was completely impulsive and felt completely natural to her, since this kind of behavior was common in the crew. Normally it wouldn't have been a big deal for her, however, something was different yet again. If it had been Luffy doing this, she wouldn't have had wasted another thought on something like this. Before she could conclude why this incident haunted her, she came out of a big bush and found herself standing in front of an overgrown shrine made from stone. She put her bag aside and started to take a closer look at the construct. It seemed, as she had hoped, extremely ancient. It was an open shrine which was not taken care by humans, as it seemed. There was a high stone roof full of smaller and bigger cracks, with some plants growing from inside. The roof was held by four wide pillars. These especially draw Robin's interest to them. As she was tearing away some vines growing around them, there appeared to be some ancient writing on the pillars. Robin tried to figure out what they said but she had never seen anything like this before. She grabbed her bag, took out some paper and charcoal to copy the letters in order to examine them later. As she was pressing the charcoal on the paper laying on the stone, she looked around for a second and discovered what appeared to be the center of the shrine. She put her writing material aside and walked towards a wide fountain. Behind it was a tall stone wall with several flowers made of stone that decorated an inscription. She leaned over the fountain, having to put her hand into the water to touch the engraving in the stone.
Suddenly someone grabbed her hand that was placed in the water from behind, pulling her back violently from the stone wall.
"How dare you touch the blessed water!", a man shouted at her holding a machete in his other hand, ready to attack. "We should cut off your hand for disrespecting our traditions like that."
Before Robin could fight back, she heard a loud "STRONG RIGHT!", from behind. A huge hand punched the man, making him fall into the stall wall of the shrine, leaving a big imprint. Robin looked back and saw Franky standing there panting, with one of his mechanical hands returning back to his body.
"Are you okay?", he asked while passing Robin, walking towards the man laying in front of the wall. Franky grabbed his collar and pulled him up in order to shout at him: "How dare you threaten a woman like that!" The man looked down at Franky, still in pain.
He started: "I was…", but couldn't finish his sentence since two arms grew out of his back and knocked him out completely. Franky let go of the man.
"It took you a while to catch up.", Robin said, picking up the paper, pencil and putting it in her bag. Franky looked embarrassed, turned around and bent over to pick something up.
"I didn't know that you liked them. That's why I got them back for you. I'm afraid they aren't as pretty as they were before.", Franky said holding the flowers he had thrown away before.
