Getting Clamped:
(Japanese herbal medicine is used for Angel's head cold and Dann's sensory overload)
Mina came to adjust to Dann's bouts of sensory overload when he was still adapting to Earth's magical flow. Getting into the habit of bringing him roots of Japanese Ginseng and root of Radix Scutellariae. In powdered form and in small batches that could be lightly dusted over his food or drinks he ingested. He was informed this ancient Chinese remedy would positively boost cognition, increase concentration levels, and stimulate the proper function of neurotransmitters. His mother accepted as she carefully made sure to measure everything out as to not poison him or overwhelm him. In some ways started to help him out when he started to show improvement over just a few short days.
Just she ended up being surprised during one of her visits to to Opal Moon after school and in the mood for a Mango Cream Smoothie. Stopped at the sign that told her wait for a waiter or waitress to seat her when greeted at a sight. Reika and Amelie were in Long Sleeve Shift Dresses with mid- length skirt and ruffled, strapless, Medium-Length Apron. Matching frilly Cap attached to headband within their while they walked around in ballet flats. Colored and white stripped pattern on the apron and cap matched the dress the two wear being Red for Reika and blue for Amelie. Were working beside Andor and Ciprian in butler style waiter uniforms with colored neck ties and lapel pins on their waist coats. Had Mina stepping forward until she found Dann in one of the back rooms working on his newest jewelry designs.
"Did I miss something?" She ended up asking him.
"They wanted to help out," He puts down his pencil. "More like Reika wanted something other then sticking her tongue down Ciprian's throat. Andor and Amelie are earning a few pennies to visit Tokyo Tower done up in One Piece decorations."
Mina needed time to process this when she took a seat next him after dumping her school bag and bento lunch bag. Scooping up the newest menu that Jewel switched out after Angel spent his usual amount of time researching the dish. What caught her eye was the Aqua Sparkling Parfait made with Blue moon ice cream, Blue Raspberry Syrup, 2 Blueberry Yoghurt,Royal Blue Candy Melts, Blackberries, Elderberries, and blueberries. All layered on top of another tall slender bowl, tapered towards the bottom. Came with a blue spoon and matching napkin when served.
"Isn't that a little to much sugar?" Dann asked as Mina flailed her one of her arms.
"Beats meeting up at Reika's place and doing my homework there," Mina always disliked how Jadeite supervised them. "Saualpite usual helped us when Amelie nor Actinolite were around."
"You and your friends can come straight here and hang out on the second floor with us to get help?" Dann came ot invite her.
Before she openly hug him or give him a simple kiss on his cheek as a sign of showing her gratitude was interrupted by Ciprian. He just blankly staring at them was enough of a turn off for Mina to pull away from Dann and make her order. She also added a plate of Jet Black Curry and a single glass of Mango Lemongrass to her order and charge to her dad. Got Ciprian mumbling under his breath about this being the best revenge against her dad before walking off.
"You going to be able to eat all that?" Dann watched her put down the menu. "If your having eating disorder, I suggest help."
"No, Just want to eat a way my blues." She ended pulling her latest work sheets from her school bag.
On top the table she placed them over Dann's colored pencils and ink pen her work sheets with red markings all over. The single numbers that ranged between 50–59%, told him she was barely making an approved, acceptable grades. Made him worry about how her parents were going to react since her father didn't seem to be a permissive person.
"Your going to get a upset stomach." He warned her.
"Ever think of Angel's cooking is worth it?" She asked him with wiggle in her eyes brows.
"Actually..." Dann looked toward the kitchen.
Mina was up and out of her seat next to him when she scrambled to the heels of her feet to run to the kitchen area. Meant reaching the door that separated the back of the cafe from the front with single push she didn't have trouble doing. Who she found plating orders and running around with a full length apron tied securely to her person and scapula in hand. Got her pointed at by Mina who was about to say something ab out why she was here in the kitchen.
"Konnichiwa Mina-san," Jewel greeted her. "Can you drop some Okayu and bubble green tea off at home? The congee/porridge is for Angel and tea is for Derek."
"Angel is at home. Alone. Like in nobody watching him?" Mina sounded excited.
"Bastion is doing there." Jewel assured her.
Jewel wasn't able to carry on the conversation further when Mina turned around and stuck her head out the kitchen door. Yelled at loud as she could to about her needing a ride and words not it came from Andor and then Ciprian in passing. Leaving Reika to say Dann was stuck acting as her ride to make the delivery with some dislike toward the not it phrase. Had him gathering up his drawing supplies and sketch pad to put back into his own bag before getting up.
"Let Mina out through the back." He picked up her bag as he got to his feet.
He was out the front door before Mina could chase after him and calls dibs on the front seat of whatever vehicle he had. Since her ordered was packed up along side what Jewel wanted her to deliver in a mediate sized box along with her things. Not that she was able to say anything to Mako when she was pushed through the kitchen by Jewle toward backdoor. Warning what she was riding in fell on a deaf ears when she laid her eyes on a rusted out Camaro before her. Flecks of the original color can be seen through the layer of reddish-brown oxidation on metal paneling. Left Mina questioning about getting inside and taking a ride over without the fear of something falling off. Put to rest when Dann took the box out of her hands to put in the back seat with his things while getting passenger side ready for her.
Asking what was wrong since she walked VERY stiffly to the open door that she swore made a screech when hinges moved. Didn't stop her once from getting into the car and planting her skirt covered legs on to seats covered in duct tape. Had her getting a door gently shut by Dann telling her to make sure all her limbs were inside before being closed inside. Lasted for a short minutes since he heard footsteps walking around the back end heading to the driver's side. Where she heard the door open with ear piercing cry that had her wanting to cover up her ears with her hands. Went out the door when asked everything was alright when both belted in and he started up the engine. She went slow the whole time trying to figure out what to say about car covered in rust.
"My parents can't bring themselves to get this car restored like they wanted," Dann sensed something was wrong with Mina. "One of the things left to us by the old man."
"Oh." She ended up going wide eyed.
She tried ended up stretching her fingers in place speaking about how her parents own a Honda S660 and a Daihatsu Copen. Kept in working condition and in were in long term storage since barely used to get around the city when they were in town. Only taken out by one of them to be taken for work related purposes, moments from public, or long drives as a family across Japan.
"Last family outing..." She couldn't remember the last time her family ever got together to go for a drive.
"That long?" Dann asked her.
"Last time was when my brother objected to my father sending me to boarding school over seas." She reclined in her seat. "Ou!" Dann puts the car in gear.
The rest of their ride was filled with Mina telling Dann why her father thought sending her off to boarding school was better idea. Opportunity for her to learn some life skills while having access to a high-quality education. Better access to a teacher-student relationship because some of the educators stay on campus. His reasons were essential for the overall development and growth of Mina would need. Left her mother and brother to openly protested the idea. Righting that Mina needed to be at home where she could be nurtured in her home environment by loved ones. Where she wouldn't turn into a total snob or seek the isolation with no wanting to be her around her childhood friends.
"Sounds like your brother and mother really care about you." Dann was impressed.
Small smile that spread across her face when she ended up being how her brother and mother feel about her. Stayed with her long into the ride over Dann's home where she was dropped off him. Telling her to go on in since parking was always tricky since their drive was being repaved. Left them to split apart with her heading to the side entrance of the house with her arm full. Making her up a path made of carefully placed gravel held in placed by sheets of metal to form a path. Crunch under the heels of her issued school shoes when she took one step after another. The door she was headed toward would end up opening by apron clad Bastion.
He ended up letting Mina into a small room in a house where Derek was found sitting on a blanket with Kousagi. Both were playing with set of dolls that came in the form of the senshi had Mina struggling to reach reach for her phone. Image of two playing and sitting side by side in such a carefree manner was truly a moment she needed to share. Her arms were full with the box of food being held firmly in her arms with her school bag and bento lunch bag handing there. Left Bastion to end up help lighten her load by taking he box from her.
"Your going to need any help?" Bastion came to ask her.
"No, I know where to go." She lied through her teeth.
She turned on her heel and stomped a way like he was a women on a mission that scared Kousagi and Derek upon watching. Bastion had to calm to those two down before they started to cry out of fear of being stomped on by Mina. He sipped from a straw in his bubble green tea that had his hoping Mina doesn't negativity react to Angel's hidden scars. Which had Mina sneezing as she when she climbed the stairs one after another when she tried to not to drop the Okayu. Stopping once she reached the top of the stairs and looking which hallway she should walk down. Ready to cal it quits in searching for Angel's room when help came in the form of a tail belonging to a Guardian wolf. She would end up following down a certain path that she had taken previously to Dann's room.
Just this one was covered in plants from baskets handing from the ceiling of careful hooks among UV rich lights. Metal Spiral Showcase Plant Stands were found on both side of the door she walked through when she opened. When she walked through the door she was greeted with sight potted plants and planter boxes. Mixed within the basic furniture that was placed through out the room with all eatable plants on display. Made Mina want to touch with her bare hands when she walked passed in search of Angel or his bed. Which she found when Il-Seong's whispers toward a droopy Angel caught her ears when admiring white roses. Over to toward the concern voices of a single bed with creeping vines wrapped around the bed's posts. Rest was a regular bed where a sight of sweat soaked sheets and linens tangled up with Angel.
"Konnichiwa?" She spoke out.
She tried to greet Angel laying on his back with his long hair unbound and laying side swept to left side of his pillow. Shirt shirt he wore was complete unbutton and displayed his flushed skin that lost it's once warm glow and carried a strange scar. Looked like a expending and branched bolt of electrical energy on complete right side of his torso. Ended up involuntary flexing when Angel furthered struggled with the blanket pulled up half up to his barely covered hips. Which was completely soaked in his sweat to the point Mina could see his parts of his body not covered. Making her realize that Angel and Dann shared the same muscle tone with having a bit more mass where it counted. Had her looking away and whispering how Mako was a lucky girl whenever she got the chance to see Angel without his pants.
"... hmmm..." Angel reacted to Mina's salutation, "Dad? Dann? Mako?"
"Just me." Mina lifts the Okayu.
Her answer from him came in the form of a linger stare at her person standing just a few feet from foot board of his bed. He sat up and in a staggering matter with his shirt further falling off down his arms and blanket pooling on his lap. Heading lolling to one side before he started to shrug off his shirt right in front of Mina without much of a care. Had Mina tried to look a way from he stripping Angel while she still carried the Okayu within her hands. About to turn around and leave to give him some privacy before Bastion walked into the room with water basin and wash cloths. Apologizing to Mina while calling out to Angel to stop what he was doing before he embarrassed himself. Had Angel ceasing his actions before he flop back on his bed with labored breathing and hair scattered every which way.
Mina was pointed toward a bed side table where she could place the Okayu by Bastion and leave before Angel started up stripping. Such she did in a hurry when Angel's eyes flew open and started staring at her when she put Okayu down. Scared so badly she went running past Bastion without saying a single word to him about to him when she exited. Left him to tend to Angel by setting the basin down along side the wash cloths before getting in Angel's line of sight. Pointing out how he almost stripped in front of someone who wasn't his parents or one of his brothers. Answer Angel before he pulled off the blanket from his sweat soaked body and aided in removing his sweat soak clothes. Blush that formed on his son's face from being told who was about watching him undress further fried Angel's brain.
"Everything alright?" Dann came to ask Mina finding her running down the stairs. "Angel didn't do anything..." "...does he usual undress in front of strangers..." She stopped in placed to ask him.
"Only when he's sick and he ends up having decreased inhibitions besides hazy thinking ..." Dann explained how Angel's becomes when ill.
"He's room looks like a greenhouse." She still couldn't get the countless plants out of her head.
"Eatable I assure you." Dann sighed.

Mako came to like working in the back of Opal Moon as a cook when she wasn't studying with her friends or attending some social event. Chance to put her learned skills to work was opportunity of gaining experience her parents never allowed her to have. Besides learning the recipes to the popular dishes that customers came to love finding on the menu. Which came in colors binders and were organized on a small shelf while written in Angel's elegant handwriting. Became guides for her through out the day that had Jewel capturing on film on a antique camera until close. Mako called her brother to tell him she wasn't going to make a formal dinner held in her father's name. Ended up going with everyone on public transportation to a place Jewel and her family chad called their home since settling on Earth.
What she found upon entering was Dann and Mina just hunker down in the living room with strange lanterns levitating above their heads. Ciprian's comment about them being brightly lit at this time of year caught Amelie's ear. Reika started to feel a strange pull from one that came in swirling colors of red, yellow, orange and hint of purple in one lantern. Ciprian was the one that gently grabbed Reika by one of her wrists to keep her from getting to close. Andor sighed when he noticed that expression of intrigued on Amelie's face while Dann welcomed to Mina to settle her friends. Mako had ran off to the kitchen to see had Angel was doing after spotting Bastion in an apron doing dishes. Leaving Jewel to get everyone to sit down before she explained the strange lanterns that were moving around on their own.
